Tasty food and excellent service

Great food, fast and friendly service, and a great deal. Highly recommend! Everything came out really quickly and the place is super clean and well organized.

Delicious food, friendly service

We went to the all-you-can-eat sushi place with mixed feelings. The all-you-can-drink option does indeed include all soft drinks and coffee. You can help yourself to these. Beer and schnapps have to be ordered separately. The food isn't 100% all-you-can-eat. You can order five dishes in each of five rounds, for a total of 25 orders. Initially, we were worried we wouldn't get enough to eat, but after just the third order, we were already struggling with the amount of food. Therefore, it's best to wait until all the dishes have been delivered. Depending on your food choices, delivery can take longer, as everything is prepared relatively fresh. The food itself was all very good.

Good quality, very tasty sushi and good service!

Not my first visit to this restaurant. Just last year the quality of food was okay, but on my last visit I noticed how poor the dishes got. There is also a limit now on the amount of rounds, which is not necessary a problem, but interesting to note. Also we had an incident with the waiter pooping beer over my friend and not only did they not help us clean up but also did not apologize. I found this experience overall quite poor and will not consider returning.

We had a delicious meal. We managed to get a spot around 5 pm on a Saturday without a reservation. However, it was quite full around 6 pm, so I think making a reservation is a good idea on the weekend. Fast service, friendly staff, and easy ordering. Allergens are clearly indicated on the menu and in the app. For an all-you-can-eat, the portions per dish are large. We didn't make it to 5 rounds, but that's okay. It was delicious.

The food, combined with the options and the price, is fine. The included drinks are especially relaxing. Unfortunately, the coffee machine wasn't working. But despite that, we had a good meal. I do think the quality of the food in some comparable restaurants is significantly better.

All the grill was coated in a layer of sweet sauce, which was awful.

Never again for me, I just sat on the toilet all night.

What a fantastic place. Had a delicious meal, very friendly service, and all for that price. I was there for lunch and they had quite an extensive selection. I highly recommend eating here. Unlimited food and drinks and so good. I will definitely be back here more often.

TL;DR Their AYCE lunch is limited to 5 orders per round up to 5 rounds within 2 hours, i.e. 25 orders for 2 hours. Most drinks are included near the front. Were it not for their deceit of ACYE I'd give more stars. The food and service was decent enough. The drinks are self serve unless it's included on the menu. There's plentiful choice between cooled carbonated drinks, some dairy drinks, or apple juice. Hot drinks include several types of coffee and two tea flavours (sencha and jasmin) My gripes with them are the lack of explanation for ordering food or drinks. On top of that there AYCE concept, if one may call it that. They allow you 5 orders per round up to 5 rounds for 2 hours. Lastly, how it felt like the staff was mocking me in Chinese after asking why I couldn't send orders after teaching round 5.

Spacious but still cozy. Super delicious food, we go there very often. The all-inclusive with drinks wasn't always favorable, but that has since been adjusted and is very good value. Dessert bar and self-service drinks, except for alcohol. That is brought to you. We're going again soon ;) You get plenty of fish in your sushi, delicious. Really good value for money. Highly recommended!!

A very pleasant place with delicious food. The food is fresh and very filling; we stopped at the third circle. Besides the food, I'd like to point out the unlimited soft drinks, ice cream, and light desserts. A very pleasant place to spend time with friends and family. Highly recommended.

Can't recommend. Food took forever to arrive, even though we live very close to the restaurant. We couldn't even call them to ask what was going on because they wouldn't pick up the phone. All in all pretty horrible experience.

We've been here before, but on Valentine's Day it was really bad. The restaurant was overcrowded and didn't have enough staff to serve customers. Everyone around us got nothing or too little food. It's a shame, this was our favorite sushi restaurant, but we won't be back.

Ordered 1.5 hours ago and our food still hasn’t arrived. The restaurant itself is also just impossible to contact (my partner and I called literally 31 times between the two of us in 15 mins just to keep hearing ‘call failed’). When we finally were able to contact the restaurant, the man was very rude, no apology for the late delivery or offer of compensation etc., and said the delivery was ‘on its way’ and would be there in 15 mins. When I tried to explain that that was impossible as we live maximum a 5 mins cycle away, he said ‘okay bye bye’ and hung up on me!! It’s now been 15 mins and the sushi has still not arrived… Will not be ordering again!! - A shame really because the sushi there is actually nice!

Super nice shop, super hospitable and customer friendly

The fish didn't taste fresh, and when I asked about it, the waiter was not only unfriendly but even sarcastic… wow. I actually felt sick and nauseous after the visit. Maybe it depends on what you order, but I would be cautious about ordering fresh fish. What I did appreciate about the lunch was the speed with which the food was served, the nice self-service soft drinks bar, and the company of the person I was with (although that last part, of course, had nothing to do with the restaurant itself). Do better.

Not a great experience. The food is all-you-can-taste, and it was okay. We sent the steak back because it was way overcooked. The sushi wasn't particularly good. It's also strange that you have to get your own drinks, except for alcoholic ones. I understand that, as you drink much less that way. The price was fine. But for this price, I'd rather go to a competitor.

YUNIKU is truly my favorite place to eat sushi 🤍 The sushi is delicious, and the other dishes are also wonderful. Everything is good quality and reasonably priced. The drinks package makes it even better, so you can truly enjoy yourself without a care in the world. Always a pleasant experience and always enjoyable. Highly recommended!

hit and miss dishes...but overall a pleasant experience...service is excellent...dishes cleared promptly...the manager pitches in and runs a tight ship...nice interior aesthetic, as well...chintzy desert bar...coffee machine coffee.

Delicious food delivered quickly

Very bad restaurant with zero hospitality, we asked to sit on a bigger table he refused as we are 2 only, but the whole other tables had 2 people on them, and after we sit, he let the next 2 people to sit on the bigger table, while he had more than 5 big tables empty. The manager is very rude, went to speak to him he ignored me and not even bothered to look at me while I was taking.

Food was done immediately, we even got extras for frree!! Yummy!

We were looking for a place to eat sushi with our kids after visiting Corpus. Most sushi places only offered takeout, but we were able to sit down at Yuniku. It was all-you-can-eat with delicious sushi and sides. Dessert, soft drinks, and coffee/tea were included. It's also a great place with kids. We all had a blast. The location is perfect, opposite the train station, and we parked our car at the LUMC.

All in all, absolutely fantastic. The food was delicious, and the dishes were different from what you often see at other sushi restaurants. The service was also excellent; any questions were answered immediately. The food also arrived very quickly. The restaurant is very nice and clean, fitting the overall atmosphere of sushi. Fantastic!

One of the best sushi I had in the Netherlands. Great variety all fresh and never disappointed. When they add the all you can drink option it becomes even better

The food was fine, but I've often had better sushi. The sushi was also rolled very large, making it difficult to eat. The atmosphere could be better; it's not very cozy inside. I can't fault the service. They were quick to help, and you could ask anything.

Really nice relaxed atmosphere. Staff are attentive and friendly. Food is very good for the price, but make sure you bring yout appetite because you get a lot of food for the 2 hours

The food was delicious. A lot of fried food, though, which wasn't so great. But you don't necessarily have to choose that. The staff, who have been running this place for a while, are nice, but the two girls who came to serve were awful! They were surly, bringing and taking everything away, almost snatching it off your table. They didn't say a word. Later, we went for a break, and then they were so loud you could hear them on the other end. Then, suddenly, they could talk. They were on the phone with another "friend." They were constantly cursing cancer and Jesus. Well, the atmosphere was ruined, and we were gone in no time! Unfortunately, the boss said there was nothing they could do about it, and I understand that. Probably antisocial upbringing, and they don't listen to their opinions. Such a shame!

Had sushi for the first time here and it was very good! (acc to my japanese friend as well). It’s amazing how fast the food arrives after we place an order. The 5 rounds of sushi was too much for us and we didn’t manage to go past round 3, but I’m sure someone with a bigger appetite can do justice to the price.

Yuniku has the best sushi, atmosphere, and more in the area. It's always a treat to eat here!

Loved our lunch at Yuniku because of the wide range of choices, the quantity of choice (you can order additional dishes often), as well as for the vegetarian options, all for one single price per person. We had lunch there on 25 June 2025, and would return when possible.

Had a nice meal...the atmosphere is ok. Plants are very dusty. Until I saw a mouse in the kitchen😩

Today I was my first time to go to this restaurant and I went alone. In the beginning it was my fault, after seeing the menu outside and the price, I thought I could order sushi a la carte and eat inside, I didn't know for eating inside I could only choose "all-you-can-eat". After I sat down, the waiter came and asked me what I would like to drink, I said I was fine, I didn't need any drink, then he just told me at least I needed to order a drink. I thought it was fine to order a drink, then I ordered a bottle of water, but also because of that, it made me feel I could order a la carte. I don't know why if it's all-you-can-it, why at least I need to order a drink(drink isn't included in all-you-can-eat, I need to pay separately). In total I ordered 1 bottle of drink and 10 pieces of sushi, after I asked the bill, I found it was all-you-can-eat and I needed to pay 44.75 euros. I told him I didn't know it was all-you-can-eat, then he only told me I could order more to eat, from beginning to end he didn't even want to serve me or solve my problems, the waiter only wanted to force me to consume more any pay more. If the restaurant doesn't respond to me and return me the money, I will report to the local government(Gemeente), so that they can investigate this issue.

Great for friends or larger events. The ordering system is a little complicated but once you figure it out its so much fun to be able to try a big variety of stuff!

Tried to order here a long time ago. Something went wrong and the order never arrived. Called the restaurant 7 times to solve it 1-2 hours after ordering. Downright bad and unfriendly help from the restaurant who only said that I had to call Thuisbezorgd (this is not possible at all as a private individual). The man on the phone got angrier and angrier with every call and refused to help and only said that my order did not exist. Refused to help with e.g. sending the food my way again. Eventually after 1 week I got my money back from Thuisbezorgd. I would never order here with this customer service.. something can go wrong but to help so badly is bizarre. I wouldn't give them a star but that's the minimum

Sushi is super dry, with 1 stripe of sauce. You get the same sauce on every piece of meat, so everything tastes the same. The gyozas, on the other hand, were very tasty and well filled.

Delicious food and drinks for little

The food was ok, but could have been better in a number of areas in my opinion. The tamago was unfortunately really bad. Furthermore, it was sometimes very cold. Products rolled from the refrigerator into the sushi too cold. Service was also fine and friendly.

A place where you get charged for tap water is just a piece of crap. Food was fine. But tap water being charged after all you can eat session + alcohol - I just disgusting. Never again - do yourself a favour and go to eat at another establishment

Mega bad food, annoying staff. We indicated that it was not tasty and then they acted very angry. We actually wanted to leave but decided to pay but were forced to pay everything while we had only eaten one round. We will never come back. Shit place

Go to shabushabu. Food is so bad it’s crazy…. Have you ever had baby corn in your udon.. udon is a mix of miso soup and Chinese food vegetables.. I’m like what..feels like shitty cheap Chinese food pretending to be Japanese food (I’m Chinese myself 😭) never ever ever again. If you have any bit of standard do not go here. Also the male waiter has a weird attitude

This is my go-to place when I have to go eat somewhere with colleagues or friends. All-you-can-eat with tapas style portions, good variety, and everyone can pick what they want. The portions are generous and we have never managed to hit the limit (though we have tried). It has a good assortment of sushi, makis, noodles and soups, grilled meat, vegetables and seafood. Everyone I took with me has always loved it, and its priced very reasonably for all you can eat. All the food is delicious, thought I particularly recommend the mussels, lambchops, potato cakes and any of the sushi. Owners are very nice as well!

Yesterday, around dinner time, we ordered sushi for two out of convenience. The quality was disappointing. The fish didn't seem fresh, the sushi rolls were quite hefty (lots of rice), the salmon was tasteless and temperas tasted like they came from the freezer. We only ate a quarter and threw the rest away. The edamame was okay, I ate a good portion of it and fed some to the dogs 😆. That cost us about €70. But, maybe we were unlucky at that moment. The delivery person came quickly. At least never again for us.

The food was very disappointing, the dishes on the menu are not clear, so you get something completely different on your plate. Even though you get something completely different on your plate, you still have to pay full price for it. However, the waitress was a very nice lady.

Lekker gegeten, communicatie is minder, we hadden het drankarrangement genomen en vroegen of we de koffie na de 2 1/2 uur eten mochten bestellen, speciaal benoemd dat we het drankarrangement hadden. Nou je raad het al, bestelling gedaan voor koffie en dit werd afgewezen, ja je mag er extra voor betalen. Hier viel niet over te praten, toch een beetje een nare nasmaak.☹️

Our fav sushi restaurant! Just around the corner from Leiden central, so also easily accessible. They are always friendly, super fast with all dishes that taste good. Very large building and when busy it can be a bit noisy but definitely worth it!

Good portions and tasty food for the price. We were not allowed to order the last round within our time, so unfortunately we were not allowed to try their ice cream. The table sometimes ran out of room for 4 people to eat. Great place to eat everywhere, but watch your time otherwise you won't be able to order anymore.

Was a nice tent, service could be better due to friendliness, but a nice ulcer

What a decline compared to a year ago. Staff was extremely absent. No attention to what they put on the table. No explanation of how it works despite a new system with digital ordering for us. The ticket prices did not match what we had to pay. Adjusting was too much work, according to the waitress. All in all a disappointment.

Very affordable during lunch, and service is very fast. I think the 1 star reviews are just people who are too stupid to read that there's some dishes that are excepted from the all you can eat. It's very normal that some dishes have an extra price. also, the drinks are not expensive at all. €3,20 for a beer.

My experience at Yuniku in Leiden was unfortunately disappointing. Despite the quiet atmosphere, the quality of the food was far below par. Some sushi seemed fresh, but other pieces seemed to have been in the refrigerator for hours. The fried food was particularly greasy and seemed to be prepared in old frying fat. Many dishes tasted the same, like greasy frying, which was very disappointing. When I indicated after dinner that I had felt nauseous, I only received a disinterested response from the waitress. I found this very frustrating and unprofessional. To make matters worse, an hour later I got really sick and spent my time upstairs in the toilet. This was definitely not the experience I expected from a restaurant visit.. 🚽🤮

I have been to this place more than 15 times, it has never dissappointed. Even if it is crowded, the quality is consistent. All items are tasty, that is why give everything a try! And guess what, it is Halal!

Waitresses a bit grumpy. No background music which makes it sound very hollow. Sushi wasn't great either, very soggy and compact.

Big trap, five of us went for dinner, it was written on the menu that it was 33 euros but no details were given, the bill came as 33 euros per person. We paid 183 euros in total, they made drinks mandatory. We did not receive any explanation, no detailed information was given. It is a trap set for tourists, never go.

A really big disappointment. I have been to the location in Zoetermeer before and this really made a world of difference. There are TVs in the restaurant, which makes it look like some kind of sports bar, not very cozy. Sushi rice was extremely dry and the dishes had too much or too little sauce. The beef teriyaki was very dry and tasted burnt. If you indicate to the employees that something has been delivered incorrectly, you will immediately receive a snarl in return. The website states that you can add all-inclusive drinks for 10 euros. They don't actually do this anymore, but it is still on the website. If you mention it to the employees, you are allowed to have this arrangement, very confusing. Definitely not recommended, there are much better sushi places in Leiden.

Het sushi all you can eat principe. Niks mis mee. Gewoon ok. Concept is bekendm Sushi gerechten en bakplaat gerechten. Het werd allemaal snel, effectief en smaakvol op tafel gezet. Het is en blijft een eetfabriek maar daar kies je ook voor. Bediening ok. Service ok. Sanitair schoon.

The food here is really tasty! It is not something you often find at all you can eat restaurants. So far I think everything is nice and fresh when it comes to sushi and sashimi; this is what I eat the most. My son (3) can also eat a varied diet and loves edamame. It has become our favorite tent because of the atmosphere, which is quiet and cozy. My husband also likes the fruit salad and ice cream; we always have the feeling that this is not the case with sushi restaurants.

Best Japanese food we've ever had. Every item we had was absolutely delicious. Will definitely recommend if you like Japanese food.

Delicious food, fast service and well explained system. I thought it was a shame that you actually have to order 10 dishes per round with 2 people, because you only have 5 rounds. Then I would prefer more rounds with fewer dishes.
