The food is bad and service to never more i go there

It was nice to see Turkish food in such a place, but the owner was very rude.

You can eat the best Turkish food; Sigara böreği and Cacık. Don't forget to ask for them.

Friendly service and delicious food. The salads were delicious and the dressings were excellent! Not a great atmosphere, but I would definitely come back or order from them again.

I loved the sigara böreği (a Turkish dish), which is also called tzatziki (a Turkish appetizer). But the owner was very rude.

Please do your job without being rude. You won't get anywhere by scolding people.

If I could have I would have given zero stars to this place. Probably the worst mezes I had. Just avoid the place.

Rude behaviour and dirty atmosphere

It’s a shame that I am having to give this review but the man behind the counter was very rude. There maybe a language barrier in him understanding but I was not expecting to be shouted at and sworn at for just asking what vegetables are in the salad.

No doubt, behavior was awful.. no any special test, any ordinary Greek or Turkish restaurant could be 10 times better..

The person at the checkout doesn’t know how to treat people. He responded to all our questions rudely. This is not how you provide service.

They're permanently closed. Windows are covered. I get voicemail if I call them.

I have rarely received such unfriendly service. My girlfriend is allergic to onions, it literally makes her sick. With a lot of effort and sighing we were helped with something she can eat. When she later asked (friendly and normally) if there was onion in the sambal, the man became rude and really angry. It was quiet, nothing was going on. There are people with allergies in the world and if you decide to run a catering business, you have to be able to deal with them. If I could have given 0 stars I would have.

What an unfriendly guy. Barely bothers to take the time to help choose lunch. In any case, be happy that someone takes the time to walk in and shows interest. The food was nothing special, won't go there again, prefer to give it to another entrepreneur.

Incredibly tasty and super fresh. Prepared with love while waiting and you can taste it. By far the tastiest falafel and Greek salad I have ever eaten. My new permanent address.

We took two wraps to go and were very satisfied! Even though the wrap was a bit thin by German standards, my scepticism was dispelled with the first bite. The wrap was very filling and tasted perfect outside in the fresh air. We really liked the fact that the sauce had some dill in it, which went surprisingly well with the freshly made falafel :)

Unfortunately the man behind the counter was very aggressive and the situation escalated when my (female) friend told him to calm down. He yelled at her insulting words so we all had to leave. Not acceptable

Went with a friend and took 2 falafels wraps. Falafel wraps were loaded with sauce unlike authentic hummus etc. It has very limited vegetables etc. Super stale bread and hard to chew! Definitely one of the dullest falafel wraps that I have had!

Delicious! Best mezze and falafel I have found in Rotterdam. Tried several mezze - all freshly made, great flavor. Falafel nicely seasoned and perfectly cooked, crunchy outside, tender on the inside.

Shocking to see a similar review on here, apparently it's business as usual; yelling at customers. We were told to hurry up picking a dish. When asked why he is raising his voice and being rude, he said 'it's busy'. We left immediately, won't ever come back.

I work with my colleagues near Zaa'tar. I discovered this place about a month ago, the food here is delicious and the place is very clean. The food is served with love, the best hummus, falafel and lentil soup I have ever eaten. You can also serve up salad. If you want healthy and tasty food, you should definitely come here.

The falafel was fresh and so were the various mezzes. The warak enab in our opinion is not. Staffed by one man, so you have to wait a while for your food, which is of course no problem (nice Arabic music in the background). Great spot further.

Als je falafel in Rotterdam (Centrum) zegt, dan zeg je Zaa'tar Falafel & Mezze. Op de Kromme Elleboog, een zijstraat van de Witte de With in Rotterdam Centrum zit Zaa'tar. Ze serveren verse falafal en verschillende mezze. Supervers en superlekker en dit alles voor een meer dan redelijke prijs!

This place is amazing for takeaway or a quick bite. The food is amazing, made fresh, everything is extremely clean and the owner is friendly. He makes the falafel fresh and in generous portions, so it takes a bit to get your food, but it's definitely worth it! For the pita and wrap options there is a salad & sauce bar do you can stuff your pita/wrap. But I recommend the special meal, where you can have 3 mezze as well, and lebanese bread. The spreads are all very good.

Great tasting falafels and mezzes! The chef made our falafels fresh, so they were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I recommend the Zaa'tar Special, which is 4 falafels, 3 mezzes and a piece of Lebanese flat bread. The stuffed vine leaves were amazing - definitely the best I've ever eaten anywhere. The falafel box is 6 falafels with just lettuce. The shop has 2 outdoor tables and 1 indoor table. The owner keeps the entire restaurant extremely clean. All the kitchen appliances are sparkling clean!

Not too many choices, but the items on the menu are amazing! Best Lebanese food I’ve had in NL. Very authentic flavors that are giving me nostalgia!

Heerlijk vegetarisch geluncht voor een vriendelijke prijs. Wij hebben gekozen voor een falafel schotel met drie mezzes, Libanees brood en tabouleh. De falafel is huisgemaakt, vers en krokant. De baba ganoush, muhamarra en tzaziki waren smaakvol. Tabouleh fris en vers. Verder erg vriendelijk geholpen door de eigenaar!

Very nice and friendly people, with amazing food It's located on a corner and nobody was there when we visited. Enjoyed the food and quiet place.

Very disappointed. The branding and marketing gave us the impression that it would be an authentic Lebanese or middle eastern experience, but in the end it was not generous, overly expensive, slow, and just not that tasty. 5 EUR will buy you a skinny Falafel Wrap with no extras apart from Garlic, tomato and lettuce, and when we suggested to add some Baba Ganoush or Tabouleh (also on the menu), the owner scoffed and said not possible, since they are 5 EUR on their own, and also not generously sized. Any other falafel/kebab place in the city can give you a better wrap at a better price. Try some of the other places around, because this definitely doesn’t “hit the spot”.

Op aanraden van klanten die buiten zitten nam ik een Zaa"tar Special schotel. Hisham komt rond 12 en begint aan de voorbereiding van zijn falafel en meze's. Smaakt heerlijk voor een amateur die vijf maanden geleden aan dit avontuur is begonnen. Hisham heeft het geleerd van zijn opa, die een chef-kok is geweest. Grote familie, grote feesten zegt hij met zijn grote glimlach terwijl hij de gekookte rode bieten raspt. Het gaat voornamelijk om liefde die je door de ingrediënten mengt, meent Hisham. Als dat goed zit, proeven mensen dat in je gerechten. Zijn muhammara geroosterde rode paprikapuree met tahina, sesampuree, en walnoten is lekker pittig. Doe eens gek, probeer het..
