The staff was adequately hospitable, the location is decent, and the ambience is completely fine. But the food is shockingly bland. Nothing tasted BAD, but there was barely any flavor to anything. Not only was "medium" spicy completely absent of all spice, the food wasn't really seasoned at all and tasted like the cooks had a pathological fear of salt. If you're someone who detests the idea of flavor, eat here.

Zofusion-Sobad! The six of us ate here before going to a concert in the Ziggodome. They are clearly not prepared for large crowds. A terrace for 100 people, 2 people serving... Really not possible. Had to wait a very long time for the drinks and then the quality of the food... far below par for the amount they dare to ask for it. Once, but never again!

Of course, it was busy. Nice weather, terraces were full. Concerts in Arena, Afas and Ziggo Dome, so busy. Still managed to get a spot on the terrace and quickly order from the limited event menu. 2 poke bowls, 2 fries and 2 beers. The guy also asked if we wanted to pay right away, because it was busy. Fine, I'm willing to oblige, but the guy didn't come back. Beer came quickly, plastic cups 3/4 full of what apparently had to be half a liter. Then the waiting began. And waiting. Lots of people waving, chaos among staff, people walked away, sometimes without paying after they had already asked 3 times and still no one came. Staff came with food to empty tables, people were fed up with waiting. Waited almost an hour and a half (!) for the food. Seriously, 2 poke bowls and some fries, I'm going to a concert, hurry up. Asked several times where it was, yes it will be right there. And nothing. After an hour and a half he comes with 2 poke bowls which he thought were for the neighbours, who had walked away. But they had ordered something else, it was for us! Only the poke bowls, no fries. He even gives it to someone else! The food didn't look good, very small portions, badly presented, really made in a hurry. Would also cost us €20 each by the way. I was done with it, let me pay for the beer, then I'll go get fries somewhere else. €20 for 2 half litres of beer that weren't even full! €20! Wow. I paid them properly, but will never go here again. Not deserved. What chaos and what a waste of time. It was no different inside, queues at the cash register, staff shouting at each other, angry people who had also been sitting there for far too long without food. You already have a simple easy menu, how can it go so wrong?!

Before the Robbie Williams concert, I still found a table on this crowded terrace. Too little service for such a great evening. Eventually I was able to order: 2x buttered chicken and 2x beer. It was already said that it could take a while. Ok, given the crowd that was to be expected. Beers came fairly quickly. Then the waiting began. After an hour, I asked around. The waiter could not indicate how long it could take: it was too hectic. I walked inside with him. There were people queuing to get their own food. So there were 2 streams, so the people who were going to get their own food clearly had priority. What was worst was that the manager/manager was yelling at his staff in the presence of the customers, very embarrassing. Eventually I still got 1 portion of the order. And it tasted delicious. It's a shame that the management let the chaos (of regularly recurring crowds) get so out of hand. Clearly no idea how to deal with such a crowd. So advice: go here to eat at a quiet time, because the food is excellent.

What a unique experience. The manager/manager is truly a horrible person. They clearly do not have the crowd under control (you can't tell me that this was the only busy day ever) and he treats his staff like dirt. He shouts, swears and all that in front of everyone. This while they are running their legs off. I would throw my stuff down if I worked there, really not normal. Telling customers to respect him but himself 0 respect for staff and customers. So many people walked out without eating, but also without paying. Half an hour in the queue to pay by card was nothing. At a certain point you had to walk to the kitchen yourself for the food. The louder you shouted, the sooner you got your order. After all, they had enough left over from all the people who had already walked out. It was really a soap opera to sit in that restaurant. Too crazy for words.

Yesterday we sat down on the beautiful terrace before the start of the Robbie Williams concert. Service came, order placed and paid. After an hour of waiting still no drinks, no food. Service didn't seem to know what to do. They advised to get drinks inside ourselves. There was a line of people who were going to get their own food because it was taking so long. I asked for our order and got a hard time from the manager: that it was chaos and that I had to be patient. In the meantime we had been waiting for our food for 1.5 hours... In the end we didn't get any food or drinks at all and because the concert was about to start we went to the manager with the receipt and asked for a refund.... Chaos!

After waiting for more than half an hour we asked where our drinks were. Then we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. The food was cold when we finally got it. When we went inside to report it, we were not spoken to in a customer-friendly manner (the staff were not spoken to normally either). We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. After that we waited for three quarters of an hour for our drinks. Coke and Fanta were not fizzy. After that we waited another 1.5 hours for our evening meal. The bread that we ordered as a starter was still forgotten after asking several times when the main course was served. We indicated again that we had ordered bread. We got 4 slices of sliced ​​baguette, with hummus that had been in the container for a while and had turned brown. This for €8.50!! The rice that was under the satay was cold. The burgers were cold and the cheese that was on it had not melted. We asked the staff what they could do. After which we could talk to the boss, who immediately spoke to us angrily. He raised his voice at us but even worse also at his staff, who ran their legs off during our visit to the restaurant. We are very disappointed with the service and the way we were spoken to. We understand that it can be busy and mistakes are made, but this experience is really not okay. There was a line inside with dissatisfied customers who also had to wait a long time for their drinks and food.

Really disappointed – if I could give -5 stars I would do it immediately What a bad experience. We had to wait an hour and a half for our food, and when it finally arrived, it was cold. We ordered a loaf of bread for four people and literally got one small roll. When we pointed this out at the checkout, it went from bad to downright shocking. The manager reacted aggressively and hostilely, which made me feel seriously threatened. But the most bizarre thing was how he treated his own staff. He just stood there and cursed them with words like “…”, I don’t think it’s normal for a manager to curse with illnesses, while they were trying to fix his mistakes. That kind of behavior is disrespectful, inappropriate and downright disgusting – to customers and staff. I will never come back here again. Absolutely not recommended.

In general a good restaurant to have a bite to eat if you are going to a concert in the ziggo dome or afas that same evening. Food was tasty, but definitely on the pricey side. Service was not bad, but certainly not great either. We had to wait a while for our food to be served and when we got our main course the side dish was missing, after asking and waiting a super long time we still didn't have our side dish, because we had to go to the ziggo dome and couldn't wait any longer we finally asked if they could take the side dish (we never got it) off the bill, this was no problem.

teleurstellend, prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding onder de maat. Een uur moeten wachten op ons eten, chaos in de keuken. Personeel werkt best hard maar lijkt onervaren en er is volgens mij sprake van onderbezetting. Vanwege evenementen was er een beperkte kaart en drankjes gingen alleen per halve liter (prijslijst was van tevoren nergens te bekennen, was achteraf een flinke domper) Eten was zeer matig, teveel geld betaald voor een bordje witte rijst met een kwak curry en een stokje saté met saus en een plukje atjar. Burgers met een hand chips in plaats van salade. Goed verdienmodel hoor….. Als je prijs/ kwaliteit wil kun je beter een frietje en een broodje halen bij de FEBO.

The reviews are correct that the food and staff are amazing (but also correct about the wait times). Honestly, I don’t mind this, but if you are on a strict schedule, it is best to get there early. We had a variety of foods; sushi (would recommend the ebi tempura), zofusion special burger (perfect combination and very surprised that I enjoyed it so much) and the butter chicken (delicious, smooth and flavorful). It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and communicated with us very well.

As a regular visitor to Brasserie Hoekenrode, our reservation there was this time referred to Zo Fusion (same owner)... now also a good experience with Zo Fusion, as the management already indicated... slightly more special (more tasteful) than Hoekenrode. The proprietor (also waiter) of Zo Fusion also recognized us from a previous visit to Amsterdam Arena / Ziggo Dome and liked that we had chosen Zo Fusion this time... My ice tea sparkling looked like mud with powder. It really didn't look good. Even the other guests wondered what that was. Ultimately the waitress gave us something else which was also mediocre. Even lekker eten voorafgaand aan de show in de ZiggoDome gaat niet lukken in deze zaak. Na de bestelling van drie drankjes hebben we de bestelling voor het eten doorgegeven. Drie hamburgers kan niet echt moeilijk zijn, en zou snel op tafel moeten staan. Na drie kwartier en vele lekker dingen voorbij zien gaan richting andere tafels hebben we nog maar 's gevraagd waar de bestelling blijft. Na een uur was het bijna tijd om naar de voorstelling te gaan. Na nog een keer vragen waar de bestelling bleef werd er erg nonchalant en ongeïnteresseerd over gedaan. Uit beleefdheid hebben we de drankjes nog afgerekend, en zijn maar naar de Febo gegaan. Deze tent mag zijn deuren wat mij betreft gelijk sluiten. Schandalig dit!

Although the restaurant was almost empty, we had to wait a long time for our drinks - they were only brought to us after our food had already been served and we had specifically asked. The bill was also a long time coming. The prices are completely excessive for what you get. A beef steak with side dishes for €32 sounds reasonable at first, but when a tiny piece of meat, barely 1 cm thick, is served with just three small potatoes, two strips of carrots and some broccoli, you feel a bit ripped off. Vanwege meerdere evenementen was het er erg druk, er was geen overzicht. Meerdere obers aan tafel gehad om de bestelling op te nemen die inmiddels al in behandeling was genomen door een collega. Onze drankjes en het voorgerecht werd snel geleverd. (Wat je een voorgerecht wilt noemen…) nog geen hap van het stokbroodje gehad of het hoofdgerecht stond al voor onze neus. Zowel de “Angus” burger als de kip burger waren niet te eten. De hamburger was niet gaar (was absoluut geen Angus, maar een plastic hamburger van een supermarktketen, en de kip was gefrituurd… daardoor keihard. Wederom werd het bord opgevuld met groentechips, zo ook het geval bij het voorgerecht. Het enige wat goed te eten was, was de friet die werd geserveerd. Latte macchiato, wat alleen uit melk bestond. De koffie waren ze waarschijnlijk vergeten toe te voegen. Onze ervaring is slecht, vanwege de drukte werden wij tussentijds gevraagd om van tafel te wisselen zodat er plaats gemaakt kon worden voor een groter aantal personen. Kortom, niet gastvrij, prijs - kwaliteit is uitermate teleurstellend, de hygiëne was slecht. Boven je hoofd hingen de spinnenwebben, toiletten vies. Wij komen zeker niet meer terug.

It seemed like so much fun but it was a total disappointment. I.v.m. double event, Ajax and André, there was a limited menu. Was not indicated in advance. Had to wait a very long time before someone came to record something. Then a very long wait for the drinks to arrive. I ordered a Chouffe and it came in a 0.5 Ltr glass. Bad. Later I was also shocked by the price, €11, bizarre. Then the food came. First of all, lukewarm warmed fries, followed by the Zofusion burger. For €26.50 you would expect something, but it was a simple hamburger/chicken sandwich with a plate full of vegetable chips. The grumpy staff didn't make things much better. Overall a bad experience. Too bad because it seemed so much fun. Tip: don't go there if there are events.

Visited this restaurant yesterday but it was unfortunately a disappointing experience. Due to an event, a modified map was available. This was not indicated when making the reservation, which I thought was appropriate. When we asked if dishes from the regular menu could be ordered, this was answered in such a tone that it immediately took away the appetite. The atmosphere among the staff gave little confidence, so we decided to only order a main course. On the plus side, the food was served at the same time, but that was where the good news ended. The butter chicken was lukewarm, and the chicken burger was not served with the garnishes as described on the menu. The amount of vegetable chips, which seemed generous in other reviews and photos, was particularly meager for us. In addition, the prices on the event menu were higher than on the regular menu. You pay around €23 for a plain burger with minimal garnish, which is completely out of proportion to the quality and quantity. In short: a disappointing experience and in my opinion absolutely not recommended.

Honestly, i don't even think it's the personnel's fault, it was lunch time and they were 2 people. 1 cook and 1 waiter. Food was overall good, they didn't really follow the requests for the Bowl, they just respected the meat choice and then just winged it with the rest. We also waited 1h for the food and we were the only customers inside. Also, the waiter could've had a better approach honestly. Overall a fine place to dine, but wouldn't go back.

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The wait time for our order was incredibly long, and after waiting for over 45 minutes without being served, we decided to leave without even getting our food. We ordered two drinks that were outrageously overpriced, and to top it off, the service was awful. The waitstaff had a poor attitude throughout. Adding to the unpleasantness, the staff’s station was right next to us, and they were piling dirty dishes directly on the street outside, where they remained for the entire 90 minutes we were there. I do not recommend this place at all.

We tried their cocktails and mocktails. Absolutely recommended. Next time I will try their soul food options. They looked and smelled yummy.🤞

Went in for dinner with colleagues after work, coincidentally on the day when the national team was playing in the euro cup. The place was very busy, but they found a table for us. Service was good, they delivered our food in a timely fashion and it was tasty. The atmosphere -thanks to the football game that was screened- was quite lively. Prices were moderate. Will return.

The place is nice and serves lovely food. The staff is very friendly and works hard. We were here before a concert in the Arena and that is why the place was packed and unfortunately the kitchen/staff could not cope with it and that is why we had to wait near 1,5 hours for our food. So that is why the low score, but I am sure when it is not busy it is well worth a visit as the food is good.

Het eten was prima. Erg lang wachten voordat we werden geholpen. De man achter de bar, manager of eigenaar, Was niet heel vriendelijk tegen het personeel en schreeuwde door de zaak heen. Klanten keken daar zichtbaar van op. Heel erg onprettig en zeer onprofessioneel. Ze waren totaal niet goed voorbereid op publiek van een concert in de Arena én de halve finale EK. Ik zou er niet zo snel nog een keer heengaan.

Voor het concert wilden we nog wat eten!! Het was druk........ na een half uur aan tafeltje nog geen ober gezien... zelf maar bij de bar ons drinken en eten besteld.. simpel eten!! duurde nog 20min voordat we ons drinken kregen, en nog eens 5 kwartier voordat ons eten kwam!! We hebben er ruim 2uur gewacht en daarna ook nog een kwartier in de rij gestaan om überhaupt te kunnen betalen!!! Weinig personeel snap ik maar gebruik dan niet je hele oppervlakte restaurant als je dat niet aankan!!

Bij een event moet je hier niet zijn! Een uur en een kwartier op ons eten moeten wachten. Al eerder geklaagd maar het mocht niet baten. Totale chaos in de zaak. Wisten niet waar bestellingen heen moesten. Drinken duurde ook drie kwartier. Man achter de bar weet totaal niet wat ie aan het doen is. Wijn ging in bierglazen omdat het glaswerk op was. Man achter bar reageert erg geïrriteerd als je aangeeft dat het niet bevalt. Als je aangeeft dat je weggaat omdat je het wachten beu bent wordt er niet goed op gereageerd. Slechte zaak! Kom er niet als je wilt eten. Burger King is heel veel sneller!

The food was fine. We had to wait a very long time before we were helped. The man behind the bar, manager or owner, was not very friendly to the staff and shouted throughout the shop. Customers were visibly surprised by this. Very unpleasant and very unprofessional. They were not well prepared at all for an audience at a concert in the Arena and the European Championship semi-finals. I wouldn't go there again anytime soon.

Had dinner here on a busy Saturday. The menu had been adjusted due to the crowds and therefore a more limited choice. The table next to us could have chosen from a more extensive menu, but this was not possible for us if requested. The food served was quite okay, but the service still has some progress to make in terms of customer focus, cordiality and hospitality. Taking an order when the table is not complete (there were two of us), a basket of bread took 10 minutes and our drinks only 1 minute less. It doesn't take much to make the experience much better, let's hope that the learning curve will increase.

Dined on an evening when there were 3 events. So it was busy, as an entrepreneur you know in advance. Special events menu, fine. After half an hour and a lame arm from waving at a waiter, we ordered drinks and food. The food came quite quickly and was okay, but the drinks took forever. I just went inside to pay. The manager/manager had no control at all and was shouting at his colleagues and guests. It was total chaos, there were buckets of soapy water (?) in the middle of the restaurant the floor, trays full of drinks that were not taken away. I've never seen anything like it, incredibly bad and worthless place. Do not go there

Nice restaurant with a special menu, lots of different dishes. From sushi to burgers. They have a large terrace, so when the weather is good, perfect for eating and enjoying the sun. Prices are on the high side, but the food is tasty. Our waiter still needed some experience, but it was clear he was in training. All in all a nice experience

Ate here with the two of us, ordered a kriek beer but got Liefmans without ice. Music is very loud, rapper Boef is not really restaurant music. A lot of money for a mediocre piece of meat. 1 man with airpods who was ordering everyone around. In short, poor price-quality ratio.

The experience at ZO Fusion was nothing short of terrible. Yesterday we called to correct our reservation because it was actually booked for Saturday instead of Sunday. My friend called to correct this, but she indicated to us that her name was not even asked, so it was not clear whether it had been moved or not. I then decided to call again and explain the situation. Well, the gentleman I spoke to on the phone responded with a heavy attitude: 'What's the problem?' I then indicated that he had to adjust his tone, because I was only asking whether it was now correct in the system. He responded again with an attitude: 'Now you're acting as if I'm not doing my job properly. I don't just confirm that I have changed something.' Apparently he felt very attacked, so he put words in my mouth that I never said. The gentleman and I went back and forth a bit and then I said: 'That's fine, I'll see you tomorrow.' Well, I arrive at 5 today and guess whose reservation is nowhere to be seen? I looked at the list myself and our reservation was literally nowhere. So sir, since you pointed it out yourself, you have indeed not done your job properly. Once in the restaurant we were completely ignored for the first thirty minutes, with no one coming by to bring us a menu or take our drinks order. In the end we had to contact an English lady ourselves to be helped. The menu offered to us differed greatly from what was stated on the website. This caused problems for our friend with a gluten allergy as the vegetarian and gluten free options were not indicated on the event menu. Although one of the employees indicated that our friend could order the baby spinach from the regular menu, it took over an hour for our food to be served. While waiting we were not informed about the delay and had to ask for clarification ourselves. The lack of communication and customer service was frustrating, especially since we were in a hurry to get to Ne-Yo's concert. Eventually our orders came in gradually, with the burgers for two people being served before the salad for our friend with a gluten allergy. After we finished eating, it took quite some time before her salad was served. Ultimately, although the food was tasty, this could not compensate for the disappointing service. During our stay in the restaurant, we noticed that it wasn't just us that was going wrong. The tables around us also started expressing their dissatisfaction. Both the guests in front of us and next to us started asking how long they had been waiting, and they were also very grumpy about the situation. This indicates a broader trend of guest dissatisfaction, further emphasizing the overall negative experience. In addition, we noticed that one of the waiters (probably the manager) was wearing an airpod and Cartier glasses (when taking orders). Although his appearance was neat, it did not give the desired sense of professionalism. All in all, I cannot recommend ZO Fusion to event attendees who require fast and efficient service. Although the food was of good quality, the overall experience was disappointing due to the lack of communication, slow service and lack of professional customer service.

Restaurant Oeverzicht is a nice place with a nice, relaxed atmosphere. I mainly come here in the afternoons, often for lunch or after work, and it is always a nice experience. The staff is generally very quick and helpful. When it is a bit busier, it can sometimes take a bit longer, but personally I have never experienced this as disturbing or annoying. The shisha is of good quality and the food is always good. It is also very atmospheric in the evenings — especially in the summer, when the terrace is open, it is really enjoyable. Parking is generally not a problem; there are usually enough parking spaces nearby. In short: a nice place to relax, both during the day and in the evening. Definitely recommended!
