Zofusion in Bijlmer Centrum (D,F,H)

This is a hidden gem. We eat Indian food on a regular basis picking out the best Indian restaurants in the centre of Amsterdam. Now we found this one. Absolutely the best food ever. And a lovely staff!

The service was fast and the food extremly delicious. On top we got a cappuccino and tea on the house.

Had a delicious meal before a concert. Very friendly staff. The house caters well to requests. Jalapeños aren't our thing.

Went here with colleagues for a special occasion and unfortunately left disappointed. The service was very slow. I ordered the Black Angus burger, which was supposed to be one of their highlights, but the meat wasn’t cooked properly and the ingredients tasted pretty average. For a high-end place charging €25 per burger, we expected quality, not just fancy plating/presentation

Iced tea is €8, more expensive than a half-liter of non-alcoholic beer at €7.50. There's no drinks menu, so prices aren't transparent, so they can charge whatever they want! €72.25 for a dressed hamburger bun, a plate of white rice with satay, half a liter of non-alcoholic beer, and an iced tea! That's a lot of money!

I got food poisoned after eating here, never again! Normally I don’t write these kind of comments but I still am recovering from the virus and would never let anybody be feeling like this after having dinner. We were about to go to the concert, so we stranded at this place where we ordered the food was taking a long time aswell. We where with four people and three of us got stomach problems and me having the worst problems, I’m already on the third day of my illness but I wouldn’t wish this to anyone. I learned my lesson from eating in random places

Dirty chairs (there was still beer on the chair, which made my pants dirty), expensive prices (8 euros for ice tea), and the staff got our order wrong three times. A Google review is shoved in your face after dinner. Furthermore, the online menu is different from the event menu. I couldn't find any information indicating this. The burger was good, though.

Extremly slow service. We were seated outside. We waited for about 20 minutes for service. Two of us ordered Angus burger, chicken burger and chicken skewered. It took close to an hour for the food to arrive. We watched people inside, who arrived after us, get served food very quickly. When our food finally came, it was the wrong order. They did correct it very quickly, indicating it was not a long process to make our food. The food was very average. But the €25 burgers were closer to €4 burgers you get at FEBO for the quality and quantity. Outside was quiet.

We stopped in for dinner. It's a very nice place with generous portions. There was no line. We ordered a mixed grill plate and a wok with noodles and beef. Everything was delicious, we loved it. The service was good, and the menu was varied. There's a beautiful bar in the center of the room. We didn't try the cocktails, but the menu has a wide selection. We highly recommend this place.

As people say, staff amazing. I find a peaceful location while chaos is outside (they might not like) but talking to the staff they do get packed busy at times. So friendly and perfect and great location. Recommend to all.

ZoFusion is a place to come back time and time again. The waiters are 12/10, absolutely incredible people! The food speaks for itself from the photos, but the taste is 10 Times better. Those were genuinely the best fries I had in a restaurant, and I've had plenty, in almost every country in Europe. As coming for the first time in Amsterdam and Netherlands, I can say that I am very impressed and I'm happy that this was my first experience with Netherlands food!

The staff was adequately hospitable, the location is decent, and the ambience is completely fine. But the food is shockingly bland. Nothing tasted BAD, but there was barely any flavor to anything. Not only was "medium" spicy completely absent of all spice, the food wasn't really seasoned at all and tasted like the cooks had a pathological fear of salt. If you're someone who detests the idea of flavor but loves overpaying, eat here.

Surprisingly good! Honestly, we weren't expecting much from such a large restaurant in a location like this. But the food arrived within minutes and was delicious! We had a really good meal with a soup and one mezze dish. Highly recommended if you're looking for a quick, tasty meal in the area that's not fast food.

Angesichts des tollen Essens, was dieses Restaurant bietet und dem andererseits eher schlechten Tripadvisorscore ist es uns ein besonderes Anliegen eine positive Bewertung abzugeben, damit sich der Score verbessert. Wir hatten das Restaurant ausgewählt, weil es direkt neben unserem Hotel war und wir sowohl gerne indisch als auch BBQ essen. Der google Score des Restaurants war bei 4,0 und so wollten wir es ausprobieren. Als Vorspeise hatten wir das Tandoori Chicken 8,5EUR, als Hauptspeise das Butter Chicken 22EUR und den Black Angus Burger 21,50EUR. Der Burger hatte getrocknetes Gemüse als Beilage, was wir sehr toll und einzigartig fanden. Alles hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt und hatte eine hervorragende Qualität. Die indischen Gerichte waren sensationell gut und empfinden wir als Highlight des Restaurants. Der Service war aufmerksam und schnell. Wir hatten eine Reservierung. Nicht schön fanden wir, dass man, wie auch bei den anderen Restaurants auf diesem Platz beim Vorbeigehen aktiv angesprochen wird, ob man dort essen möchte. Das hatten wir während unseres Essens beobachtet und empfinden wir als aufdringlich. Auch finden wir die Preise für die Burger und die Getränke im Vergleich zum Innenstadtniveau rund 10%-15% zu teuer. Der halbe Liter Heineken kostete 8,25EUR. In der Stadt zahlt man dafür aktuell bei ähnlichen Restaurants zwischen 6 und 7 EUR. Alles in Allem waren wir aber so sehr zufrieden, dass wir volle 5 Punkte vergeben möchten und gerne wieder dort essen würden.

Zofusion-Sobad! The six of us ate here before going to a concert in the Ziggodome. They are clearly not prepared for large crowds. A terrace for 100 people, 2 people serving... Really not possible. Had to wait a very long time for the drinks and then the quality of the food... far below par for the amount they dare to ask for it. Once, but never again!

Wat een vreselijke manager, eigenaar heeft dit restaurant. We gingen voor een concert eten. Toen we binnen kwamen was het nog rustig maar al snel werd het drukker en liep het uit op totale chaos. Drinken stond na een half uur op tafel maar het eten heb ik na anderhalf uur maar zelf in de keuken opgehaald. En dat het dan lang duurt is een ding maar het gedrag van de manager/eigenaar..... schreeuwend achter de bar, schreeuwend in de keuken, schreeuwend door het restaurant. En als je hem dan iets vraagt krijg je, 'wat wil je?! en een heleboel onbeschofte andere dingen naar je hoofd. En dat deed hij niet alleen bij mij maar naar iedereen die hem aansprak en bij de een nog onbeschofter dan de andere. Dat deze tent nog personeel kan vinden is me een raadsel maar dat ze lang blijven zal niet het geval zijn.

Of course, it was busy. Nice weather, terraces were full. Concerts in Arena, Afas and Ziggo Dome, so busy. Still managed to get a spot on the terrace and quickly order from the limited event menu. 2 poke bowls, 2 fries and 2 beers. The guy also asked if we wanted to pay right away, because it was busy. Fine, I'm willing to oblige, but the guy didn't come back. Beer came quickly, plastic cups 3/4 full of what apparently had to be half a liter. Then the waiting began. And waiting. Lots of people waving, chaos among staff, people walked away, sometimes without paying after they had already asked 3 times and still no one came. Staff came with food to empty tables, people were fed up with waiting. Waited almost an hour and a half (!) for the food. Seriously, 2 poke bowls and some fries, I'm going to a concert, hurry up. Asked several times where it was, yes it will be right there. And nothing. After an hour and a half he comes with 2 poke bowls which he thought were for the neighbours, who had walked away. But they had ordered something else, it was for us! Only the poke bowls, no fries. He even gives it to someone else! The food didn't look good, very small portions, badly presented, really made in a hurry. Would also cost us €20 each by the way. I was done with it, let me pay for the beer, then I'll go get fries somewhere else. €20 for 2 half litres of beer that weren't even full! €20! Wow. I paid them properly, but will never go here again. Not deserved. What chaos and what a waste of time. It was no different inside, queues at the cash register, staff shouting at each other, angry people who had also been sitting there for far too long without food. You already have a simple easy menu, how can it go so wrong?!

Yesterday we sat down on the beautiful terrace before the start of the Robbie Williams concert. Service came, order placed and paid. After an hour of waiting still no drinks, no food. Service didn't seem to know what to do. They advised to get drinks inside ourselves. There was a line of people who were going to get their own food because it was taking so long. I asked for our order and got a hard time from the manager: that it was chaos and that I had to be patient. In the meantime we had been waiting for our food for 1.5 hours... In the end we didn't get any food or drinks at all and because the concert was about to start we went to the manager with the receipt and asked for a refund.... Chaos!

Billboards show a nice menu, Unfortunately due to various events a special menu which was also much more expensive than the original menu. Ordered ice tea green we got 0.5 liter in a plastic cup.. 8€ each which we had not asked for. Definitely not recommended

What a unique experience. The manager/manager is truly a horrible person. They clearly do not have the crowd under control (you can't tell me that this was the only busy day ever) and he treats his staff like dirt. He shouts, swears and all that in front of everyone. This while they are running their legs off. I would throw my stuff down if I worked there, really not normal. Telling customers to respect him but himself 0 respect for staff and customers. So many people walked out without eating, but also without paying. Half an hour in the queue to pay by card was nothing. At a certain point you had to walk to the kitchen yourself for the food. The louder you shouted, the sooner you got your order. After all, they had enough left over from all the people who had already walked out. It was really a soap opera to sit in that restaurant. Too crazy for words.

Before the Robbie Williams concert, I still found a table on this crowded terrace. Too little service for such a great evening. Eventually I was able to order: 2x buttered chicken and 2x beer. It was already said that it could take a while. Ok, given the crowd that was to be expected. Beers came fairly quickly. Then the waiting began. After an hour, I asked around. The waiter could not indicate how long it could take: it was too hectic. I walked inside with him. There were people queuing to get their own food. So there were 2 streams, so the people who were going to get their own food clearly had priority. What was worst was that the manager/manager was yelling at his staff in the presence of the customers, very embarrassing. Eventually I still got 1 portion of the order. And it tasted delicious. It's a shame that the management let the chaos (of regularly recurring crowds) get so out of hand. Clearly no idea how to deal with such a crowd. So advice: go here to eat at a quiet time, because the food is excellent.

The dutch horecha or what, how they even got a license?

Today there was clearly not enough staff present. That can happen, but then don't open the entire terrace. We first waited 20 minutes before we could order something. After waiting for more than half an hour we asked where our drinks were. Then we had to wait 1.5 hours for our food. The food was cold when we finally got it. At the tables around us we also noticed that it took too long for everyone. When we went inside to report it, we were not spoken to in a customer-friendly manner (the staff were not spoken to normally either). Plus point: the staff that was working on the terrace remained friendly despite everything and they worked very hard!

We ordered our drinks and food at the same time. After that we waited for three quarters of an hour for our drinks. Coke and Fanta were not fizzy. After that we waited another 1.5 hours for our evening meal. The bread that we ordered as a starter was still forgotten after asking several times when the main course was served. We indicated again that we had ordered bread. We got 4 slices of sliced ​​baguette, with hummus that had been in the container for a while and had turned brown. This for €8.50!! The rice that was under the satay was cold. The burgers were cold and the cheese that was on it had not melted. We asked the staff what they could do. After which we could talk to the boss, who immediately spoke to us angrily. He raised his voice at us but even worse also at his staff, who ran their legs off during our visit to the restaurant. We are very disappointed with the service and the way we were spoken to. We understand that it can be busy and mistakes are made, but this experience is really not okay. There was a line inside with dissatisfied customers who also had to wait a long time for their drinks and food.

We ordered a loaf of bread for four people and literally got one small roll. When we pointed this out at the checkout, it went from bad to downright shocking. The manager reacted aggressively and hostilely, which made me feel seriously threatened. But the most bizarre thing was how he treated his own staff. He just stood there and cursed them with words like “…”, I don’t think it’s normal for a manager to curse with illnesses, while they were trying to fix his mistakes. Meest slechte restaurant wat ik ooit heb mee gemaakt. Kok wordt uitgescholden door eigenaar. Terras is smerig. Eten komt laat of niet. Mensen lopen geïrriteerd weg en betaal je voor4 hamburgers en 4 bier €125

Wat een dikke teleurstelling. Wij hadden een broodplankje (4 stukjes brood en een handje groeten chips), 3 hamburgers, waar ze ook handje groenten chips naast gooien, frietjes moet je apart bestellen dus als je nog een klein beetje het gevoel wil hebben dat je iets gegeten hebt ontkom je daar niet aan, dus gedaan. 1 biertje, thee en een cola en kond 104 euro afrekenen. Belachelijk!!!! Als het dan nog een beetje hoogstaand is... maar dat was het ook niet.

In general a good restaurant to have a bite to eat if you are going to a concert in the ziggo dome or afas that same evening. Food was tasty, but definitely on the pricey side. Service was not bad, but certainly not great either. We had to wait a while for our food to be served and when we got our main course the side dish was missing, after asking and waiting a super long time we still didn't have our side dish, because we had to go to the ziggo dome and couldn't wait any longer we finally asked if they could take the side dish (we never got it) off the bill, this was no problem.

teleurstellend, prijs/ kwaliteit verhouding onder de maat. Een uur moeten wachten op ons eten, chaos in de keuken. Personeel werkt best hard maar lijkt onervaren en er is volgens mij sprake van onderbezetting. Vanwege evenementen was er een beperkte kaart en drankjes gingen alleen per halve liter (prijslijst was van tevoren nergens te bekennen, was achteraf een flinke domper) Eten was zeer matig, teveel geld betaald voor een bordje witte rijst met een kwak curry en een stokje saté met saus en een plukje atjar. Burgers met een hand chips in plaats van salade. Goed verdienmodel hoor….. Als je prijs/ kwaliteit wil kun je beter een frietje en een broodje halen bij de FEBO.

The reviews are correct that the food and staff are amazing (but also correct about the wait times). Honestly, I don’t mind this, but if you are on a strict schedule, it is best to get there early. We had a variety of foods; sushi (would recommend the ebi tempura), zofusion special burger (perfect combination and very surprised that I enjoyed it so much) and the butter chicken (delicious, smooth and flavorful). It was delicious and the staff were very friendly and communicated with us very well.

A beautiful restaurant and the food was absolutely perfect, my pokebowl was delicious and my bf's fries were some of the crispiest fries ever! That said; it took almost an hour for our food to arrive, so if you're in a hurry (like before an event) maybe don't go here, or know that you're going to be a while.

As a regular visitor to Brasserie Hoekenrode, our reservation there was this time referred to Zo Fusion (same owner)... now also a good experience with Zo Fusion, as the management already indicated... slightly more special (more tasteful) than Hoekenrode. The proprietor (also waiter) of Zo Fusion also recognized us from a previous visit to Amsterdam Arena / Ziggo Dome and liked that we had chosen Zo Fusion this time... We had a great meal, a good restaurant to go to before your visit to AFAS, ZIGGO or ARENA... reservations are recommended...

Good pokebowl, tasty spring rolls and fast service

My ice tea sparkling looked like mud with powder. It really didn't look good. Even the other guests wondered what that was. Ultimately the waitress gave us something else which was also mediocre. We also waited 35 minutes for our order. But otherwise the food was quite good. And the view and weather helped too! But at €61 for 2 drinks and 2 dishes it's not worth it. So unfortunately not worth repeating

We ordered a poke bowl and a sandwich, and we were the only customers but it took around half an hour or more for our food to arrive. According to my companion, this was the third time this had happened to him and he swore not to return. (During his previous visits, there were very few diners.) Fortunately, the food, when it finally arrived, was quite tasty. Would have rated the service one star if not for the waitress’s halfhearted apology.

Even lekker eten voorafgaand aan de show in de ZiggoDome gaat niet lukken in deze zaak. Na de bestelling van drie drankjes hebben we de bestelling voor het eten doorgegeven. Drie hamburgers kan niet echt moeilijk zijn, en zou snel op tafel moeten staan. Na drie kwartier en vele lekker dingen voorbij zien gaan richting andere tafels hebben we nog maar 's gevraagd waar de bestelling blijft. Na een uur was het bijna tijd om naar de voorstelling te gaan. Na nog een keer vragen waar de bestelling bleef werd er erg nonchalant en ongeïnteresseerd over gedaan. Uit beleefdheid hebben we de drankjes nog afgerekend, en zijn maar naar de Febo gegaan. Deze tent mag zijn deuren wat mij betreft gelijk sluiten. Schandalig dit!

The food tasted very good, but the service left a lot to be desired. Although the restaurant was almost empty, we had to wait a long time for our drinks - they were only brought to us after our food had already been served and we had specifically asked. The bill was also a long time coming. The prices are completely excessive for what you get. A beef steak with side dishes for €32 sounds reasonable at first, but when a tiny piece of meat, barely 1 cm thick, is served with just three small potatoes, two strips of carrots and some broccoli, you feel a bit ripped off. Overall, unfortunately not a recommendation - good food alone is not enough if the price/performance and service are not right.

Vanwege meerdere evenementen was het er erg druk, er was geen overzicht. Meerdere obers aan tafel gehad om de bestelling op te nemen die inmiddels al in behandeling was genomen door een collega. Onze drankjes en het voorgerecht werd snel geleverd. (Wat je een voorgerecht wilt noemen…) nog geen hap van het stokbroodje gehad of het hoofdgerecht stond al voor onze neus. Zowel de “Angus” burger als de kip burger waren niet te eten. De hamburger was niet gaar (was absoluut geen Angus, maar een plastic hamburger van een supermarktketen, en de kip was gefrituurd… daardoor keihard. Wederom werd het bord opgevuld met groentechips, zo ook het geval bij het voorgerecht. Het enige wat goed te eten was, was de friet die werd geserveerd. Latte macchiato, wat alleen uit melk bestond. De koffie waren ze waarschijnlijk vergeten toe te voegen. Onze ervaring is slecht, vanwege de drukte werden wij tussentijds gevraagd om van tafel te wisselen zodat er plaats gemaakt kon worden voor een groter aantal personen. Kortom, niet gastvrij, prijs - kwaliteit is uitermate teleurstellend, de hygiëne was slecht. Boven je hoofd hingen de spinnenwebben, toiletten vies. Wij komen zeker niet meer terug.

Having a nice owner who welcomed us, the manager took our order and after waiting 40 minutes we got to know that he didn't pass it on to the kitchen... A SHAME in the name of service! After hearing this the workers were not ready to compensate me in any way, just that they could make it again and it would take them around 10 to 15 minutes, the worst service I have ever experienced.
