It's a shame that Limburgia vlaai no longer exists.
I've never had such a nasty vlaai today from supervlaai.nl.
The crust lacked flavor, the apples were undercooked, and the crumble topping was very sweet and hard.
Visitors didn't like it either.
Very friendly staff.
Pleasant terrace overlooking the park and children's playground.
Reasonable prices for the location. And good quality products.
Take a trip to the basement restroom before paying your bill; the euro you pay will be deducted from your bill ;)
Food is always good, but it is so incredibly stupid that the Almere branches aren't participating in promotions. It is just so incredibly expensive, and that is bad enough, but there is currently a buy one get one free promotion going around at all Poképerfects and only Almere (and the one at Schiphol, but that makes sense) isn't participating.
It may not look like a traditional Irish pub from the outside but if you are able to cram yourself in amongst the revelers, you are greeted with a traditional Irish pub, like it should be. Guiness flowing, the aroma of the finest whiskies floating upon the soundwaves of the regulars singing traditional Irish songs with fiddle players kicking their heels as they belt out "jigs"! I am now looking to acquire a residence as close to this establishment as possible as I am getting the "fomo" half of the time I am not there.
See you this evening guys and put that top shelf on ice for me. X
I walked in exactly 3 minutes before closing time on a cold Saturday evening.
The chairs were on the tables, the floor had been cleaned, and the display case was spotlessly clean.
Nevertheless, I was still able to order a frikandel and fries and was allowed to take a seat at the last occupied table.
Next to the soft drink, I found a bottle of real Polish milk. I enjoyed the late dinner and the friendliness of the owner.
During a study trip I ended up in that area and it was a unique experience. So friendly, so passionate and cozy owner. I asked for hot chocolate milk and she didn't have it. So she got a Cécémel from the fridge, poured it into a coffee cup and warmed it up in the microwave. Super experience
