Walked into this restaurant hoping for some rest and good food. Sat down and realized I couldn’t eat anything because I’m allergic to shellfish and peanuts tried leaving but they charged us for sitting down and going to the bathroom. Staff rude and intolerant.

The food is authentic and delicious, good service, quiet and spacious space, the price is fair for the location.

The Chinese food was average at best in my opinion. The Thai food was just oily and without flavor. No condiments on the table. I would not return. The waiter was present, that’s as much credit as I can give.

This is my go-to late-night eatery. It stays open very late, and I come here whenever I crave spicy food. The taste is authentic; I always order the spiciest, and ask the owner for extra chili peppers. The beef is stewed until tender and doesn't get stuck in your teeth. The owner is also very honest and kind. 👍

Been craving for 水煮鱼. This is a typical low key Chinese restaurant that is oversaw and underrated. Amazing food (ofc authentic coz laoban is Chinese), crazy portioning. Had to pack to go home, satisfied and delicious.

A Chinese male waiter had an extremely rude attitude!! In the summer, when it was very hot, I asked him if he could turn on the air conditioning, and he not only rolled his eyes but also replied rudely that he couldn't, saying it wasn't hot enough. Did he expect people to die of heat before he'd turn it on? The food has also gotten worse and worse, and the prices have gone up. The pork tripe and chicken rice that was previously available is gone. The noodles were delivered broken into pieces, only three or four centimeters long. Very poor service 👎

Taiwanese people commented that the spicy beef noodles were quite delicious, but the soup wasn't hot enough and not spicy enough. It was spicy and the meat was tender. Coco is next door, so you can go there and have some with it.

It was so delicious. A family of three ordered a spicy beef noodle dish and a golden soup boiled fish (with rice). We were very full and the boiled fish came with a lot of vegetables. Highly recommended

We ordered food to take away, but the lady was disrespectful and extremely rude towards us. She told us we only needed to wait 5 minutes, but after 10 minutes, when we checked with her, she said the food was not cooked yet and that we had to wait longer. She also told us to step aside so she could get chopsticks, and her attitude was unpleasant. This was probably because she was upset about an argument with her colleague. We would never come to this place ever again no matter how good the food is.

General alert: this place is absolutely not a restaurant. The food was not good, not fresh, and was quickly reheated in the microwave. The service was deplorable. We are deeply disappointed to have been in this tourist trap, which is super expensive. Do not go there, even if you are starving.

A small restaurant hidden at the busiest tourist section that's perfect for whoever's feeling like noodle soup in Amsterdam's chilly days. Red Braised Rice Noodle is nicely seasoned, reasonably portioned (if you consider the location). Note that the noodles are on the softer side so maybe not for everyone.

We ordered for Phad Thai, which was served without any peanuts, sprouts, chillies, lemon etc . When we requested the waiter to provide the missing condiments, he said, this is how we serve. On this, I showed him the picture of the dish in their menu which showed a well prepared phad thai having all the condiments to which he responded, it is just a picture. In reality they serve how it has been severed. I did not eat the dish but still paid. Hope the restaurant owner takes appropriate measures.

I had a really disappointing experience at this place. I ordered the Tom Yum soup, and it was completely off — no coconut milk, just two shrimp and a single mushroom. The takoyaki were tiny and lacked any real flavor. The shrimp in sweet sauce tasted like thawed, low-quality seafood — very unpleasant. The only thing that was somewhat decent were the shrimp dumplings. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. The experience of visiting the place was extremely disappointing. The best Chinese restaurant in Amsterdam! Whether you are Chinese or European, you will definitely like the taste of their restaurant! Came here on a rainy afternoon, I had the spicy beef noodle, extra spicy and added on intestines. The portion is honestly huge, they are also very generous with the beef, very big chunks and very tender. Intestine is clean and not smelly (I was worried at first). I can take spicy, so extra spicy was just nice for me - if you are from Hunan or nearby provinces that can take spicy food, it shouldn’t be spicy for you at all. Overall the noodle is kinda oily, but the taste is pretty on point. I’d say it’s a rare find in Amsterdam.

Went there with my family of 8. We ordered the food and then we asked for tap water for one person, and a change of chopsticks because they were dirty. The waiter was extremely rude and gave us an attitude, and even after the food was brought to our table he told us that ”if you don't wanna eat here you can go somewhere else”. We took his word and we left. Wouldn't recommend going there.

We dined at this restaurant on the evening of July 4th and were treated very unfriendly by the male waiter. When we asked if we could have tap water, he said no and we had to pay for it, and said sarcastically "If you can't afford it, don't drink it". When the dishes and chopsticks came, two pairs of chopsticks were very dirty, and the male waiter did not apologize and change the chopsticks and said we were looking for trouble, and said "If you don't like it, don't eat here", which made us feel very disrespected. In the end, we chose to leave immediately. This service experience was very disappointing and will never come again, nor recommend others.

I was so angry halfway through eating that I took a photo to write a review In short: Don't come The rice noodles were hard... literally worse than the ones you can get at any asian supermarket and boil them yourself. The soup was very salty, doesn't taste authentic at all. One thing nice about here is the view～Note: 18 euros for a bowl of rice noodles might be a bit expensive:(

Friendly staff even if they don’t really speak English. Food TERRIBLE. Gyoza completly deep fried ( still don’t understand why) I got chicken ramen , or better spaghetti in chicken broth. Everything tasteless and overcooked. Don’t reccomend. Gyoza 14€ Chicken ramen 19€ 7€ still water Left the place looking for food.

Very Bad. One of the worst experience in my entire life. Really don’t understand all the good reviews. Ordered fried chicken but they served us totally different plate than the picture. It was a frozen chicken with a strange piece of brocolis… Very expensive for this kind of thing. So smelly also. I had to eat bc I was so hungry and didn’t have time but after few bites I felt I might be sick after this dish. The rice was also smelly too. Just don’t go.

Ordered pad thai, it was ok but needed some more sauce. My friend ordered rice noodle bowl and it was a 10/10 (he lived in china so he knows).

The second floor overlooks the entire square and is not bad. The location is very central and the price is OK. The beef tendon is stewed very soft and sticky. I think it is delicious, and the number of beef pieces is reasonable compared to its price. I love this spicy beef noodle. The tripe is not very flavorful.
