Food was super delicious, we ordered a la carte instead of all you can eat. However was surprised that they charge for water and there is no tap water and I had to pay €7.

Disappointing experience at this so-called Korean BBQ—I went in hoping for authenticity, but it's Chinese-owned and run. The kimchi was past its prime, dishes didn't taste Korean at all, and the vibe's overly pretentious. Staff were lovely and attentive, though! Owners, on the other hand, felt stingy—like they limit orders to just four items, which is ridiculous when you're starving for ten. Would I go back? Nah, save your cash for something genuine.

The quality of food has degraded since 6 months ago!

A great find for an all-you-can-eat Korean buffet. You can order food using your phone. The soju was very good. Unfortunately, no free water is available. Only bottled water costs €7.50. A shame… but it doesn't detract from the overall restaurant experience.

NOT an authentic Korean BBQ restaurant. There are a lot of wrong things with this restaurant: the meat cut is too thin, the kimchi is not fresh & the serving is too little — most likely it’s store-bought kimchi, the lettuce is not properly selected for wrapping — often too small to be used as wrapping, the marinate for the short rib is off, garlics are cut too thin — should be thicker for Korean BBQ, ssamjang tastes like ordinary BBQ sauce, banchans take space of the normal round — they should be possible to be ordered outside of the normal round just like drinks, and many other things. Overall, I don’t recommend this restaurant.

The food is good and high quality for the most part (skip the seaweed salad it is mostly mayonnaise). I could tell the white fish had not been frozen. I don’t love all you can eat because it feels like customers are cattle being herded and this definitely has that vibe, but if you like all you can eat you will enjoy this. The servers are very busy and don’t even stop by long enough for you to ask for something. They also ‘don’t have’ tap water which I know is common in NL but is a business practice I detest and will always call out.

Worst Korean Food i've ever had! I love korean food and have tried a lot of different Restaurants in Europa and Korea, this was really the worst of all. We went there for lunch, but didnt do Korean BBQ. The quality of the food was just SO bad, on the top of everything was lot of cheese, not very korean in my eyes. The portions were VERY small also. Very expenisve for bad quality. On top of it all, the lady in service wasn't very friendly. All in all, please don't go there, there a much better korean Restaurants in Amsterdam.

I really like this korean barbecue! Have tried also anothers korean barbecue in Amsterdam but this one it s the best. So many options, the meat it s great and for very good price . Love ittt❤️

Food poisoned for the first time in my life. Did not cook my own meat so it was prepared in the kitchen. Enjoyed the time there, but can never go back.

Everything was great until then end. We had been there for just over an hour and were finishing up when we noticed the lady being very edgy. They removed plated of food and drink before we were finished and were told there were people waiting for our table and told to leave. We still had food and drinks. I felt like a sheep being headed out. Very bad hospitality. Clearly time is money to them and service takes a back seat. Sad as I really enjoy the place, but they will not see us again.

The quality of the food and services is no longer satisfactory. The kimchi, sauces, and side dishes do not meet the standard of Korean cuisine. The price is going up and up while the food quality and its services are going down and down.

Four of us went to dinner at 8:00 PM. We expected it to be very lively, but it wasn't. The employees had depressed expressions; they didn't seem to enjoy working there. I think you should enjoy going to work, but that wasn't the case here. We also found the owner very commanding; she was yelling very loudly at a young man. The food was okay, very greasy, and everything tasted the same. The table was dirty when we arrived; we noticed a few oil stains on it. We found Doreen very friendly; she made us feel at ease. We do not recommend this restaurant. 💋

Great place for an authentic Korean bbq. The menu is very extensive and I love it that you can also order from the sushi and grill menu when you do the bbq. The meat is really good quality and well marinated. Great place to go with your friends or colleagues. I would skip it for date night.

Nice view, fast service, delicious dishes, nice meats that you grill yourself. Try the rib eye and the lamb. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend it!

They don't have much choice on the menu. Much of it was "out of stock," and there were few non-alcoholic Korean drinks. Although the atmosphere and staff were friendly, I would personally go to another Korean BBQ restaurant if you're expecting a lot of choices (this wasn't my first Korean restaurant), but this one felt disappointing to me.

The food was delicious, good meat, excellent other dishes, lots of choices, but ordering on your own phone was a bit less fun, especially in a group where you'd really like everyone to leave their phones behind.

A very pleasant atmosphere and excellent staff! They were the English to the rescue when I ate spicy chicken and they offered me milk! Now that's service.

Best KBBQ in town!! Ive been to almost all and this place has by far the best meat. If you care about meat quality, then you should just go here. Group of 10 people for dinner, they told us one of the cooking stations was not working, so they split us into 2 groups. Super uncomfortable setting and even when we mentioned our dissatisfaction, they ignored it completely. Management really needs to improve their performance.

Employees constantly checked if we ate our meal to charge us extra for every one we couldnt eat, disrespectful and impatient.

Great korean barbeque. I can't say if it's authentic or not but I enjoyed everything we had here and the service was super quick! Drinks are a little expensive though!

The food was a bit salty, nothing special. Otherwise, it's a cozy restaurant where we could go without a reservation. It was a bit pricey, though.

Food was “not the blast” but okay. Always full restaurant. Very tired waitresses. Even robot looked tired. Will I go back? Yes. Amsterdam mid range restaurants are having issues with food quality and waitresses.

We've been to many Korean BBQs, and I highly recommend this restaurant. Ordering is easy via a QR code on your phone. The meat quality is good, and the selection of side dishes is huge. The all-you-can-eat menu is well-executed by the very friendly waiters. We'll definitely be back.

They don't offer à la carte service in addition to the buffet, but you should ask beforehand. I had the buffet, which costs €39 per person for 2 hours, excluding drinks. You can order four items per person and have a barbecue every 8 minutes. However, they ask for confirmation three times after you place your order. All the meat I ate was delicious and fresh. I wouldn't choose seafood over anything else; I prefer meat. I was completely full by the third order and couldn't even get to desserts. I'd go back when I'm hungrier. I thought the drinks were expensive.

Excellent service and Khiara The best

A very interesting Korean restaurant that you should go to when you're hungry. Because you eat and eat and eat and eat. Chiara served us, and the experience was wonderful.

Great spot for Korean BBQ right in the heart of Amsterdam! The food was fresh, tasty, and there’s a huge variety of meats and sides to choose from. The atmosphere is lively and modern, perfect for a night out with friends. Service was quick thanks to the digital ordering system. Overall, a fun experience and definitely worth trying if you’re craving Korean BBQ.

I often eat here, the soup is very tasty, the meat is fresh and it is definitely recommended!

Made a reservation at 8:30, but had to wait 20 minutes for a table, which we shared with another group. We were told we had to pay full price for the all-you-can-eat option (40 euros for two hours), even though we were only supposed to eat for an hour and a half, with 20 minutes deducted for the wait. A truly awful place.

Not bad, not great. I've tried all the so-called "Korean" BBQ places in Amsterdam, and this one has been my least favorite, next to that Seoul sista place. They're all pretty similar, though. Pro tip: If you want authentic Korean food, go to Amsterdam Zuid.

Reservations are made at 8:30 PM, and you'll be seated at 8:50 PM. The kitchen closes at 10:00 PM, so you only have one hour to order. It's best to ask for the full price; it's better if they let you know in advance. 👍

We had a reservation for 20:30. We got seated 20 minutes later. At that point we were notified that we would be paying full price (40€ for 2 hours) while we would only be able to eat for 1 hour with intervals of 8 minutes between each round.

A concept we weren't familiar with, but the waitress kindly took the time to explain how it worked. The quantities of each item are excellent, the flavors and tastes are present, and the meat is fresh! A truly wonderful discovery! Thank you ☺️

The service is very fast. The staff is hardworking. The meat is tender and delicious. The menu is well-prepared. A nice restaurant and I definitely recommend.

A great BBQ experience, more food than you know what to do with, flavoured excellently, and other than a couple items getting missed one round (at no cost though) a great evening all round. The spicy fried chicken was my favourite on the menu (i had 3 portions...)

The atmosphere was okay, but the food wasn't Korean! The chefs spoke Chinese, so I assume they're all Chinese. The service was so bad, we all lost our appetites after seeing the person at the counter picking his nose! We're never coming back!

Everything delicious, food was various and came fast, service was really friendly. Would recommend as an experience, completely worth the money!

The chicken is not fresh and feels like it has been there for a long time. The chicken smell is covered up with salt. We cannot treat Chinese guests differently just because the environment is bad. I will not go there again.

We wanted to see beside of window and restaurant had only 5 people inside , they said table isn’t ready yet … we ordered some food and portions were too small for the price and tables were not clean at all … we tried also to speak English and they were answering us in Dutch ! We went there yesterday with a friend. It was incredibly delicious and very friendly! If you haven't tried Korean BBQ yet, do so when you're in Amsterdam 💜 You can order up to eight dishes, and you get multiple rounds since it's an all-you-can-eat restaurant! For K-Pop fans, good to know: they also play music from your favorite band 😍 The only downside is that you can't split the bill or pay with an American Express card. You either order your own drinks or one person pays the entire bill and then split it between you. The food was delicious, and even when I asked if any orders were missing, they responded quickly and friendly! I'd love to come back! The all-you-can-eat menu is €40 per person plus drinks, but it's worth it!

Hello, We dined at Gaja in the evening as a group of four. The food, as well as the beautiful view, were exquisite. Nordan served us wonderfully throughout the evening, and the service was generally very friendly. I can recommend this place with complete conviction!

Got very sick. The service and atmosphere were excellent. Unfortunately, two of them had diarrhea and were vomiting.

Our first time at Gaja—and our first Korean BBQ—was such a fun experience! The food was much better than we expected for an all-you-can-eat place. Service was friendly, the manager was checking on us throughout our dinner. Definitely a great spot for a fun dinner.

Range of food is good and the idea of an all-you-can-eat style works, with the hot plate to cook your meats. The app definitely needs a bit of work. There were instances of orders not being processed and ordering something unintentionally. Otherwise good experience overall. Would return.
