Last Saturday, November 22nd, I celebrated my birthday at 1892, and it was fantastic! From the moment I walked in, everything felt perfectly taken care of: the food, the drinks, the DJ, the MC—truly everything had been taken care of. The space looked incredibly clean upon entering and immediately had a warm, inviting atmosphere. Even though it was quite cold outside and I still had to get some things out of the car, Timo immediately came to the rescue. Professional, proactive, and above all, friendly—exactly the kind of service you appreciate. Inside, we were able to warm up immediately with a delicious hot cup of saoto soup, a perfect start to the evening. The catering service opened around 7:00 PM. The food was delicious everywhere and more than enough for my 80-plus guests. Of course, there were a few minor areas for improvement, but you find those everywhere, and they're truly taken to heart at 1892. Overall, it was simply fantastic! We enjoyed pleasant music until 8:45 PM, after which we cut the cake and danced happily until 12:30 AM. The snacks served later were also delicious – especially the spring rolls, my absolute favorite! Everything was served promptly at the agreed-upon times, including the baras. A relatively large group of guests unfortunately had to leave around 10:00 PM or 11:00 PM because of the children, but MC Romano handled that perfectly. He kept the atmosphere lively and got the rest of the guests on the dance floor in a fun, energetic way. And DJ Raymond played fantastic all night! The owner (Raymond) also deserves a special mention. He really went the extra mile: clear and transparent agreements, brainstorming solutions, and even connecting me with the right person for extra decorations. Thanks to him, my loved ones had to arrange almost nothing and could party just as hard as I did. You really get your money's worth at 1892. I had compared four other venues beforehand, but I'm so glad I chose this one. It was an unforgettable evening! Highly recommended! 🎉 (For privacy reasons and family reasons, I didn't add any photos, but it looked chic and cozy!)

Dining here is delicious, and the atmosphere is great for a night out with a small or large group. I also celebrated my daughter's sweet 16 here in one of the venues. It was super fun with a bar, DJ, photo booth, and appetizers. It was a fantastic party. Highly recommended.

I celebrated my 21st birthday at 1892, and I couldn't have wished for a better one! My guests also had nothing but compliments on how well everything was organized, the food, the atmosphere... everything was perfect! They really catered to my every wish, and I was able to leave everything to them. I highly recommend them, both from myself and my guests.

The dishes were all delicious, but the service was a bit lacking. We each had to order a starter, weren't allowed to order two, and certainly weren't allowed to share. Is that part of the concept? The confusion intensified when we were asked whether we were having à la carte or shared dining. We had no idea; we didn't know that was a choice. The wrong dish was delivered (also delicious, by the way), the woman who brought the fish of the day didn't know what kind of fish she was serving, we had trouble getting their attention, and so the place was teeming with these kinds of non-starters. It certainly didn't ruin the evening, but in my opinion, this really needs to improve. Tip: Two grand desserts for three people is more than enough (we were allowed to share them).

Shared dining is a great concept at this restaurant because of the wide selection of dishes. There are some standard, less exciting dishes like chicken satay and carpaccio. These are offset by some very interesting dishes, such as the bao brisket and the BBQ chicken. The service is extremely friendly. The only caveat is that one of the staff members smelled something that had recently taken a smoke break.

The food was delicious. And the staff was also great. Unfortunately, we couldn't eat in peace because there was also a wedding reception and dinner. They were seated in a separate room, but kept walking back and forth through the restaurant to use the restroom or smoke outside. Later, there was loud music and a lot of stomping. It was a shame, because it wasn't exactly relaxing.

What a fantastic venue and team! On September 27th, I was surprised in their private space with a surprise party for my 45th birthday. The owner also DJed, and most of the food was homemade. Boa buns, spring rolls, chicken satay, gyoza, fries, and snacks. It all happened. It wasn't the first time I'd been there for a party. What makes it so great is their flexibility and willingness to make your party exactly how you want it, all at an affordable price. We danced and had a great time! Thank you, Raymond... you made the venue even better than it was four years ago!

Perfect! Me and sis we just went for a quicly snack and some beer. But we hesitate because was too fancy haha But not at all the waiter( young man ) was super welcome and very gently and welcome us. Thanks so much for you attending ! We gonna come back for a nice dinner.

We celebrated a party in the Gallery Hall on August 29, 2025. Raymond directed the evening. The catering, drinks, snacks, and music were all excellent, and we and our guests had a fantastic and unforgettable evening. Raymond, thank you so much for this wonderful evening. We look back on it fondly!

For my mother's 60th birthday, we decided to throw a surprise party at 1892. They have a wonderful, dedicated room for this. I spoke with Raymond, and the communication was very pleasant. The service was very friendly, and the food was good. All in all, it was a successful surprise, and I would definitely use this facility again in the future.

Last Saturday, I went to 1892 for dinner with my friends. What a great atmosphere! The steak was delicious, I'll probably have more dessert next time, haha! See you soon!

Delicious food and good service.

The food was truly delicious! The service, despite the friendly servers, could have been much better. It started with a drink being forgotten during the first round, which meant we had to wait almost 10 minutes, but not a big deal. Then they forgot to give us the menus, so it took quite a while before we could order. So far, things haven't been going so smoothly, but oh well, it happens, we thought. Here's the thing: a little later, I ordered a gin & tonic and noticed a fly in it. When I tried to fish it out, it turned out there were no fewer than five flies. We took it to the waiter, and the waitress seriously said she'd already seen them while serving, but hadn't managed to remove them (and then served them anyway!?). All in all, the food was delicious, but I wouldn't go back.

Where to begin? At least with the good reviews, because I really don't understand them. The steak tastes of chlorine and is tough. The gyoza were steamed for far too long. The roseval potatoes were black and far too greasy. We even charged 5.50 for them separately, while they already charge 41.50 per person. That doesn't feel right. The tiger prawns were swimming in oil. The mojito was probably a virgin, because it seems the alcohol was forgotten. Honestly, this might be the worst experience I've had in Zoetermeer so far. I wish everyone the best, but I'll never go here again.

Last Thursday, we were able to use the upstairs theater at 1892. That evening, we organized a closing party for the eighth-grade students of the elementary school! What a fantastic venue! Spacious dance floor, and it was great that there was a raised platform where parents could watch while enjoying a drink. We received a warm welcome from the manager and staff, and there were so many possibilities! I definitely recommend renting this venue, at a great rate! Communication was also very pleasant, and we received prompt responses to our paid inquiries.

We had a wonderful meal. We opted for the 6-course sharing menu. Really fresh and beautifully presented. Truly delicious.

Went here for dinner today. To my surprise we couldn't order alacarte right away and could only order 6 dishes at 39 per person (shared dinner). At first glance that seems attractive but the dishes were really small mini portions. Somehow understandable because it's busy from Friday to Sunday then a shared dinner deserves preference because they earn a lot of money from it, especially considering the size of the portions. The food itself is very tasty, there's nothing wrong with that. On the other hand, it has a very nice atmosphere. You can eat in peace and quiet and the staff is incredibly nice and customer-friendly. The level of customer friendliness is extremely high here! Very nice and respectful staff. My girlfriend had burned her tongue on the amarene cherry yoghurt cake. That is ice cream with cherries that have been heated up way too warm. After a few seconds it melted and became amarene syrup. I had asked for cola/pepsi light zero and we got pepsi regular. In short, considering the mistakes and the small portions, I expected some compensation. They just said sorry and nothing was done about it, which we did not expect at all. And honestly very disappointing If you decide to eat here, try to ask for the alacarte, which is cheaper. Because a total of more than 112 euros for a shared dinner is really a lot! If they had decided to make some concessions, we would have definitely come back more often, but not for the time being. The photos are of the so-called shared dinner. We paid 39 euros per person for 6 rounds. So 6 rounds for 2 people and 39 per person. I also think it is a shame to give 1 star because the service was very customer-friendly and the food itself was very tasty, but the rest deserves 1 star

We celebrated my 50th birthday last weekend. What a fantastic location. The room has so much atmosphere in itself. Furthermore, there are so many possibilities in consultation. The DJ was great and listened well to us. Snacks and drinks were well taken care of. All guests said that they thought it was a great evening.

My husband celebrated his 50th birthday at e Eten & Drinken with 100 guests. It was well taken care of with snacks and drinks. There are different levels in the room with different places to sit. There is a good dance floor and the DJ and the music were also good. Definitely worth repeating.

Went to the Comedy Club with a friend so we had a bite to eat. Nice cozy restaurant, friendly knowledgeable service with fast kitchen and 3 delicious shared dining dishes. Great evening.

In itself a nice place, but I think we were not on the right night or had the wrong table. We were sitting near the entrance and there was a band in the building. So instruments were being carried in all the time. There was a party in the theater and the door was open. The food was nice, we had chosen the chef's choice (with 6 dishes) and that was nice. A bit on the salty side, but I like that so that was fine. Of the three waiters we had, one was very involved, the other two were not really catering animals. Incidentally, it took quite a while before we could order something to drink. So all in all a nice place, but the price/quality ratio was not in balance this evening. Let's try again, though.

Nice concept, 3 (1 starter and 2 main courses) or 6 (3 starters and 3 main courses) "Share Dining". So share all dishes with each other. Delicious food, friendly staff in an attractive restaurant (old converted granary), online reservations and free parking in the nearby underground parking garage.

I am not from Holland and I went to the restaurant on a recommendation and everything was wonderful. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is very homely, the service was punctual. Without a doubt it has become one of my favorite places and I would return without a doubt.

Gezellig ingericht restaurant waarbij veel van de oude constructie van het pand bewaard is gebleven. Bediening was niet al te vlot en de informatie die je over de verschillende concepten die men aanbied kreeg na binnenkomst, was nogal beperkt. Er werd bijvoorbeeld niet gemeld dat een a la carte keuze vanaf het menu ook mogelijk was. Het eten was echt lekker dus dat maakte een hoop goed.

The bottemless brunch 2nd edition was here in December 2024. A really great concept! Shared dishes "chefs special", unlimited mimosas and belinis. Cozy, nice atmosphere with live entertainment. A great experience at 1892 Food and Drink! As a regular customer, I really can't say anything other than that it is always a pleasure to come here! The staff is super friendly every time, and the chef does everything he can to serve you a delicious dinner. The location itself is beautiful, with two attractive rooms that are perfect for parties and events. The large hall has a playful layout with different levels, so there is always a cozy atmosphere, regardless of the size of the party. And the small hall? It really is the nicest party room in Zoetermeer! With the homely atmosphere and nice decoration, it always feels personal and intimate. We recently hosted a party at 1892 and it was fantastic! Everything was taken care of down to the last detail, and the addition of the permanent DJ ensured that everyone couldn't leave the dance floor. It was a really great evening! We will definitely come back!

The interior is stylish and inviting, a perfect setting for a night out. The food and drinks were a pleasant surprise! The dishes were not only tasty, but also original and beautifully presented. Each dish had a surprising twist, which made us really enjoy the culinary creations. The drinks were also perfectly matched to the dishes. The service could have been a little better. Although the staff was friendly, we noticed that it sometimes took a little longer before we were helped. Fortunately, the quality of the food and the pleasant atmosphere more than made up for this. All in all, a restaurant that is definitely worth a visit. We will definitely come back again!

Today I had the first opportunity to taste their shared dining concept with the theme "Bottomless Christmas brunch" with a pleasant group of 12 people. For 4 hours I thoroughly enjoyed the delicious dishes that were more than filling, the tasteful and atmospheric ambiance, the stimulating live and non-live music to which we danced happily and the extremely friendly staff. A highly recommended winner!

The atmosphere inside is fine, but the long wait for both the food and drinks, the price and the taste is absolutely not worth it. Apparently we couldn't eat à la carte, but we were forced to choose the shared dining option, well everyone had a small piece. Now you would say that all the different dishes were nice and tasty, but there was no difference in taste. Everything we were served in terms of meat dishes was prepared in the same pan as the seaweed or at least it tasted that way because the meat taste was no longer there. All dishes tasted like seaweed...

5 dagen vooraf gereserveerd. Keurig aangegeven of er 2 teckeltjes mee mochten en zelfs nog specifiek om een bepaalde plaats gevraagd zodat we niemand tot last zijn. Aangegeven als het niet kon of ze dan de reservering wilden cancelen. Kom je vrijdagavond aan, gezellig uit eten, echt trek. En wordt je weggestuurd bij de deur want op een drukke avond mogen er geen honden binnen. Nou lekker welkom.

Nice idea but operation is not good. Its quite slow, juice is served without shaking so it is not tasty when pouring, and if you want to pay, it appears that the priority is to first move some glasses behind the bar and if you say something, respond smartly!

We were able to rent the restaurant for my father's birthday. It was a great evening! A lot of thought was given to us in advance and as much was possible. Friendly service, very relaxed atmosphere, super delicious food (best saoto ever, vegetarian food also possible, but I liked the chicken 😊) from the catering.
