Dear owner, We did indeed visit your restaurant, and our experience was once again very disappointing. It's a shame you can't handle criticism and want to take legal action. It's hilarious. Dear all, don't go there. Tastes differ, but the flavor at that restaurant is completely lacking. There's no Greek flavor at all; the spices are probably way too expensive. So, there's a good Greek restaurant further down the road.

Went here with friends on a Friday night. We were also the last ones to leave. Great location on Dorpstraat in Zoetermeer. The service could be improved. The girls were quite slow and not so attentive. It also took quite some time to get our orders. The food was OK. Though some fish fishes of a table next to ours smelled quite fishy. My Mix Fish was OK, though the squid rings had a fishy smell too. It would also improve the dish if the prawns are deveined. I loved their tzatziki and the spare ribs. Good portions, so you will not leave hungry.

Huge portion of gyros! Couldn't finish the fries. Service could be faster and more prompt. Update September 1, 2024: Drinks arrived quickly; it wasn't very busy yet, with about six tables occupied. After that, you have to be patient, a lot of patience...even though there were five waitresses. The food was definitely good and the portions were generous. You also have to take your time paying... We skipped dessert; there's a great ice cream parlor on the same square.

Terrible service. You don't get what you order. No ouzo as a welcome drink, you have to ask for it. If you order a drink, it simply doesn't arrive. You have to ask again. We'll never come here again 😡😡

Busy or not but after more than half an hour waiting to place an order for food is absurd no one comes to you. In the end to the Italian around the corner. First and last time here.

I know the food here is fantastic; we've been coming here for 10 years. However, I booked a table for two, got drinks, and after 45 minutes, we still couldn't order. When we told them we were leaving, we were presented with the bill without mercy. There was only one person to take orders on a Sunday in a full restaurant. The staff was too young and uninformed. It would have been less annoying if we'd had a sandwich. So we went next door. No reservation, but still a table, and someone came to take our order twice. So it's possible.

This was our first time at Poseidon. We had a delicious meal. The staff was very friendly.

This is truly... without exaggeration, the BEST GREEK in the Netherlands. What a fantastic garlic sauce they have! The portions are generous, and the price is also great. Don't hesitate and eat here!! 🤩🙏🏼

Jesus, restaurant must go bankrupt... I heard the cook shouting, food was cold, bad service & meat was purple, pooh! Plates and cutlery were stained... who knows what happened in the kitchen? For me a 0 -

Had a delicious meal here last night, had mussels and shrimps beforehand, delicious! and as a main course the preveza dish with delicious cod, calamari and excellent large prawns and my husband excellent beef tenderloin. The salad and fries completed it. We enjoyed it👍

On Mother's Day, I ended up on their terrace with 5 people without a reservation, what super friendly service and what delicious food!! I was never a fan of Greek food, but this restaurant completely changed my mind. Definitely going back and recommended to everyone!!!

My recent visit to Poseidon with my family was nothing short of magical. The food, prepared with craftsmanship and passion, was a feast for the senses. Each dish was a masterpiece in itself, with fresh ingredients and flavors perfectly balanced. But what really made this experience special was the attention to detail and the hospitality of the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with warmth and friendliness. The staff was attentive and accommodating, and even my three-year-old daughter was treated like a VIP, with a cute shot glass of lemonade as we got our Ouzo drinks. This gesture showed the true essence of Poseidon: a place where everyone feels welcome and where every moment is cherished. We will visit you again soon!

Tholis has been our resident Greek for years, never disappoints and can easily handle large groups. Recommended

We had no reservation. Yet a place has been made available for us. The wait staff was busy. We were not once asked if everything was satisfactory. The steak from the gyros was rare, we would have preferred it done. But okay, it was edible. The mushroom risotto looked like soup. Sent back to the kitchen. The risotto came back with less liquid, but you could still scoop the liquid out. The risotto just needed to be stirred. Sent the risotto back to the kitchen because risotto should not float in the liquid. Even though the risotto had not been consumed, payment still had to be made. The owner and chef thought this was his way of making risotto. Another experience richer. Motto: don't eat risotto at the Greek!!!!!

Not to be repeated. Understaffed. No atmosphere. Food was not good. Little choice. Too expensive. This has nothing, absolutely nothing to do with a Greek restaurant.

Food cold. Staff very young. Long wait for everything. Forgot drinks. If you order Wokda, you will receive a cola without vodka. We can also wait for the bill. Not bad here anymore for me

I had made a reservation on Saturday evening, February 10 at 7 p.m. It was for my birthday, it was very busy. Ordered something to drink and received the menu. Only after 45 minutes were we able to order. At 8:30 PM we still hadn't received the starter. We were hungry and left. Thanks for ruining my evening, I will never come here again.

Food super good, and what a friendly owner who is in the kitchen himself. Definitely deserves a visit

Food was good, we took Ouzo, my friend wanted a large glass, it had a very small bottom, and that for 11.50, a bit much.

Unfortunately, the quality has deteriorated greatly. It really was the best Greek in the area, even in the lake... often taken away. The management can't handle it. The food is of poor quality. We have now eaten here 3 times after my last review, but what it once was is no longer. Yesterday my parents-in-law had also been here, on my advice... meat did not taste good, spoiled bifteki. Something has been said about it, but this is simply not possible. Gyros taste strange, small pieces of cooked meat. No idea what happened, different chef, too busy and few good staff?

Service war wirklich grottig. Getränke wurden sofort serviert. Aber dann mussten wir mehrmals auf uns aufmerksam machen damit die Bestellung aufgenommen wurde. Nach gut einer Stunde bekamen wir endlich unser Essen. Ich sollte noch erwähnen, das dass Lokal nicht sonderlich gut besucht war und 3 Bedienungen herum liefen. Das Essen war ok aber auch nichts besonderes.

Das Essen war nicht schlecht. Getränke hatten wir schnell , trotz 3 Bedingungen kamen die mit der Essens Bestellung nicht nach 😡 Service war nicht sehr freundlich. Hier stimmt der Preis nicht wirklich. Deswegen nur zweiSterne ⭐️

Heerlijk gegeten, biefstuk was precies zoals ik hem hebben wil. Prima service, voor herhaling vatbaar

Lange tijd niet geweest in dit restaurant. En ten onrechte. Andere locatie, mooie moderne inrichting. Uitermate lekker gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening. Kok kwam ook nog even informeren of alles naar wens was. [Dat doet die goed]. Fijne avond gehad. 1 Hier komen we vaker terug. 10-11-2022. Vanavond wederom geweest en het was weer voortreffelijk. 30/6 wederom geweest en weer was het eten goed.

Het eten is goed, de bediening was niet zo goed. Sommige waren vriendelijk, andere stug en ze vergeten regelmatig dingen (bord, friet) te brengen.

Service was vriendelijk en deden hun best, maar door personeelstekort duurde het wel lang. Echter... eten was weer heerlijk, het aanwezige personeel vriendelijk en een goede sfeer.

Mooie, nieuwe locatie. Eten is top. Wel was het nu erg lang wachten tot we konden bestellen en voordat we het eten kregen. Dat is wel weer een beetje jammer.

Heel fijn restaurant. Het personeel is zeer vriendelijk en geven goed aandacht aan hun gasten. De nieuwe locatie is top gelegen in de dorpstraat, alhoewel het binnen wel wat sfeervoller mag zoals de oude vestiging, waar je wat meer een grieks sfeertje had dan hier. Het eten is altijd goed en je krijgt zeer royale porties geserveerd.

Ik ben zelf naar de bar gelopen om een broodje met kruidenboter te bestellen omdat geen van het horeca personeel keek en stonden te kletsen met elkaar en ik vond het bijzonder dat ik met mijn kassabon naar de bar moest om af te rekenen omdat men zei dat het chaotisch was Nou ik zou de service in mijn eentje aan kunnen Het eten was wel heel goed.

Lekker gegeten. We hebben alleen een tip. Graag Griekse gerechten in de kleine porties, want daarvoor komen we naar de Griek. 👍

Heerlijk gegeten en gedronken ,meestal vaste gerechten omdat ik die echt super vind.Maar andere gerechten kan ik ook aanraden.Gereseveerd via WhatsApp is wel aanrader je krijgt dan later een bericht.Op de achtergrond griekse muziek.

Lekker gegeten. Helaas niet zo veel contact gehad met het personeel. Was duidelijk dat er een tekort was aan personeel.

Ze kampen zoals bijna overal ook met een personeelstekort ,maar als wij uit eten gaan hebben we geen haast dus met een beetje geduld heb je een gezellige avond en een heerlijke maaltijd! Het was voor ons de 2e keer in dit restaurant en we komen zeker snel weer terug.

Heerlijk gegeten! Was lang niet in dit restaurant geweest. Maar hebben heerlijk gegeten. Je krijgt superveel vlees. De kruidenboter is echt goddelijk en de bifteki was ook heerlijk. Ook de bediening overziet alles en zijn supergoed op elkaar ingespeeld. Dat viel me echt op.Echt een aanrader!

Eerst keer gegeten in de Dorpsstraat sinds ze weg zijn uit Meerzicht. (Vanaf het begin al klant geweest in Meerzicht) Kwaliteit is top, ruime porties en vriendelijke bediening. Restaurant oogt lekker fris en modern! Niet meer die oude ornamenten en lege wijnflessen aan de muur die we kennen van andere Griekse restaurants. Parkeren ook goed te doen in de omgeving! Less is more kaart, voor ieder wat wils! Ja! Ze hebben zichzelf weer opnieuw uitgevonden, in Meerzicht was het op een gegeven moment so so.. tot de volgende keer toppers!

Vriendelijk personeel. Ouzo bij aankomst. Heerlijk gegeten. Bifteki was goed gegrild, niet droog. Erg genoten van de gyros speciaal. Overall, leuke avond 😀
