A really great restaurant. It's a shame the crispy cashew chicken is no longer on the menu. But everything there is simply delicious. Highly recommended for a dinner with friends.

My favorite restaurant, the one I always went to, was closed and I actually came here unplanned, but the food is great, and the staff extremely friendly, definitely not the last time I've been here.

The meat platter for two: brisket, pulled pork, and pork belly slow-cooked for 12 hours, each piece buttery-tender and incredibly delicious! I don't need to say more. 10 stars if I could.

When a restaurant works hard to serve good food and is very customer-friendly, you deserve a good review. It was our first time eating here with the family, and definitely not the last!

Good food, few staff. Which means you often have to wait a while before you can order something. Music was also quite loud which made communicating with each other difficult.

The food was disappointing. The meat board looked good. Don't take the fish board. Never eaten such a thin tongue before, which is a shame. The service could be much more pleasant. And an owner hanging at the bar with his laptop. So not pleasant.

It's always a pleasure to eat here. Delicious meat is the house specialty and the meat platter with meat from master butcher Piet van den Berg is definitely recommended! High quality, good portions and good value for money. The friendly and attentive service tops everything off.

Two years ago I left 5 stars. We were still behind that in 2024. Prices have now risen and quality has fallen proportionately. Shame! The carpaccio was so incredibly thick, just not tasty. The meat also smelled stale. This was the last time for us. Shame!

As Zoetermeer residents and meat lovers, we occasionally go to this restaurant. Can absolutely recommend it! Since the opening of this restaurant, our experience is that the dishes have gotten better every time. The steak tartare was the best we have ever eaten so far, the structure of the meat makes it clear that it has been prepared with attention and love. Even took the trouble to put a delicious poached egg on it, something you don't often encounter. I actually never eat spare ribs in restaurants because of the dirty hands syndrome, but this time I broke with that tradition and enjoyed the spare ribs. Super tender, fall-of-the-bone (if you like it), wonderfully marinated. The finale was the sublime strawberry mousse with bastogne biscuit, all handmade. Almost nothing comes from a package or can at this restaurant, pure intense pleasure! We will definitely come back here again :-)

The food was tasty and one of the servers and waitress was also very friendly. However, another employee made a comment that was unacceptable. Unfortunately, I became disabled due to an accident and spend most of my time in a wheelchair. When I was being led away by my partner, a person working there felt it necessary to make "beep-beep" noises as if I were a truck going backwards. To that person: You don't know who I am, how I feel, or why I'm in a wheelchair. Are you going to be deeply ashamed of your "funny" behavior.

We had a nice meal and a nice evening. That's ruined upon departure. When I rolled my fiancée back in her wheelchair, one of the hosts made a beep-beep sound like she was a truck. Some situations are suitable for a touch of humor, but I found this downright dehumanizing for someone who already has a hard enough time with her daily life and it has become more difficult to participate in society. We probably won't come back here again.

Individually 5 stars. The atmosphere is actually 4.5 because it is very noisy. The crowds cannot go away. Reason not to come here with my wife. Service is super fast, you don't have to wait for your drink. Replenishment is also available quickly. 1 of our table was able to customize his dish to his liking, putting 2 starters together was no problem either. However, the interior and facade could use some updating.

What a nice restaurant, it has been there for many years and for good reason. A warm welcome and cozy reception. The water we were served with the bottle of wine was very thoughtful, without asking and therefore without paying. Delicious food, really good quality and large portions. Also drank a special Fonsies Tripel!!

Simple brasserie in the cozy old village center of the start. Nice to see and excellent service. The food is fairly standard and the menu offers few special dishes, but the quality of the food is excellent. Nice place to eat.

At the end of the summer holidays we had dinner with the children again at the Heeren van Soetermeer. It's a party every time, we had such a delicious meal.

The owner is a real and sincere catering professional. Dishes are always top notch. Delicious meat. Bottles of wine for a good price and delicious. Always enjoy! And very good coffee!

Wij wisten niet waar we wilde eten. Tot wij langs de heeren van Soetermeer liepen. Door de vriendelijke bediening een tafel op het terras gekregen. Van het voorgerecht (carpaccio, en ossenhaas) tot het hoofdgerecht (biefstukken), was super! Het vlees super mals, vlotte bediening en erg vriendelijk personeel! Wij raden dit restaurant iedereen aan, en komen de volgende keer met meer mensen terug!

A nice and pleasant meal with a somewhat larger group. They took great care to ensure that everyone was served at the same time. The hosting is just right and so is the food. Industry-wide, we have reached a price level that I hope the menu and ingredients are just that little bit more original. Perhaps this is an unfair expectation due to inflation, but I have it. The menu is meat oriented. A vegetarian has a few options, but for my taste they could be a little more extensive.

My expectations were perhaps a bit high. The food is not bad but the spareribs had little taste. Well cooked. Atmosphere and service not special, the girl did her best. Luckily I was in good company.

Aangename zaak met zeer goede en vriendelijke bediening. Ik had biefstukreepjes en mijn vrouw een hamburger (200 gram) was perfect! Toe hadden we tiramisu en een voortreffelijke koffie. Wel reserveren anders heb je geen plaats. Een aanrader!

Delicious food during Christmas

Second visit 2023 The card was still the same. This time the burgers were gone and the satay was gone. So almost a third of the main courses. Quality of the Brisket was still very good. Inventories still not in order. For me a reason to give one less star. First visit 2022 Ate brisket and ribeye. The ribeye was requested medium rare, but it really wasn't. Medium and a bit further. The smoke flavor was very good. The brisket was very tasty, it's a pity that the sauce was not separate. The meat was served with only fries. There were no side dishes such as vegetables or salads on the menu. Only two dishes were available from the desert menu. Bad planning when the menu is already small.

Heerlijk gegeten bij de Heeren van Soetermeer. Kwaliteit en portionering van de gerechten is goed. Van het lekkere vers afgebakken broodje vooraf tot de goede bak koffie na. De vleesbereidingen waren perfect. Complimenten! De snelheid van opdienen tussen de gangen, ging behoorlijk snel. Het broodplankje vooraf was nog niet voor de helft op, of het hoofdgerecht werd al uitgeserveerd. Is natuurlijk een moment opname, maar wel een aandachtspunt.

Heerlijk gegeten, vriendelijk personeel, wij komen hier zeker nog een keer terug.

Met 6 personen en m’n mooie kleindochter zijn we hier gaan eten op zondagavond. Uitstekend bevallen, alles was erg lekker en ruim voldoende. Na het broodmandje hebben we allemaal een voorgerecht genomen, geweldig. De buikspek kan ik iedereen aanraden. M’n ene schoonzoon had de gamba’s en de andere de avocado. Ook allemaal top. Toen het hoofdgerecht, dat was op (bijna) alle fronten een feestje. Ik vond de rib Eye geweldig, ik neem hem altijd rare. Anders is het al snel te gaar. Maar dat is natuurlijk persoonlijk. De meeste hadden brisket en die was werkelijk super mals. Ook aanrader. Verder overdadig veel friet, maar nauwelijks groente. Nou vinden veel mensen dat niet erg, maar ikzelf vind dat er wel bij horen. Als nagerecht een crème brûlée, daar kan ik ook alleen maar positief over zijn. De kleine meid kreeg poffertjes en als toetje een bolletje ijs. Ze zat te smullen. Het personeel was aardig en correct, niets op aan te merken. Al met al hebben we een geweldige avond gehad, voor herhaling vatbaar.

Heerlijk gegeten vanavond!! Een service waar menig restaurant nog iets van kan leren..zeer vriendelijke bediening die weet wat er op je bord ligt..wij komen zeker nog een keer terug.

Matig eten. Biefstuk medium besteld komt doorgebakken op tafel. Plastic resten in de salade aangetroffen. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar. Duur qua prijs in verhouding tot de kwaliteit. Op de website is een verwijzing naar Piet van den Berg gemaakt. Het vlees wat wordt geserveerd komt daar niet naar mijn mening niet vandaan. Matige Sligro kwaliteit en slecht bereid.

28euro voor een biefstuk zonder vlees. 2.75euro extra met saus. Geen groenten alleen patat Totaal kosten voor 2 personen 130 euro. Op veel plekken kan je beter eten voor dat geld bijvoorbeeld Puur. 2 weken geleden geleden gegeten veel beter.

Heel goed eten. Erg smaakvol! Je kunt hier je hart ophalen als je een echte vleesliefhebber bent. Gerechten waren goed bereid. De service zou beter kunnen door vaker te checken of de drankjes bijgevuld konden worden. Nu moesten we er zelf om vragen.

Heerlijk gegeten. Dit keer de knoflook spare ribs. altijd vriendelijke bediening. Je kan er ook buiten zitten.

Ik vind het eten "gewoon". Keuze uit aantal gerechten vind ik beperkt. Te veel vlees, maar dat is uiteraard persoonlijk. Wij zaten achterin de tuin en deze had een overkapping van wit tentzeil wat de sfeer niet ten goede kwam.

Heerlijk gegeten. Konden in de tent zitten (hadden binnen gereserveerd) dus dat was lekker. Vriendelijke en attente bediening. Komen zeker terug.

Na dat mijn hoofd gerecht iets door gebakken was en ik gaf het aan....kreeg ik het antwoord...eet deze maar op en dan komt de nieuwe er gelijk aan.....en dat was ook echt zo geregeld....top service....en die van mijn gezeldschap was wel goed dus dit is echt top!

Weer heerlijk gegeten bij ons oude vertrouwde heeren van Soetermeer. De spare ribs was zo van het botje te halen. Mooie buiten plaats. Echt weer genoten.

Nice place for drinks and a chat

Ontzettend lekker gegeten. Vriendelijke bediening, ongedwongen sfeer en mooi geserveerde gerechten. Maar het allerbelangrijkste; elk gerecht was een genot. Dus zeker een aanrader!

Super vriendelijk personeel, eten was heerlijk en de sfeer is ook een dikke 10!

Oke locatie en inrichting. Attente vriendelijke bediening en hartelijk welkom vanuit de keuken. Voor een top vlees restaurant was de biefstuk.....mwaaa. De vis was lauw en nat. 2x gemeld niet blij, niks mee gedaan. Gemiste kans van de staf. Eenmalig.

Met vier personen hier geweest en ik moet zeggen we hebben heerlijk gedineerd. Als voorgerecht hadden we Carpaccio, Vitello tomato en Buikspek en het was meer dan lekker. Als hoofdgerecht de Heeren burger, Kip cashew, Chefsspecial en de Pulled pork. Ook hier at je je vingertjes erbij op. Heel erg lekker allemaal. De aankleding van het restaurant mag wel wat sfeervoller, vooral achterin het restaurant. Bediening was vriendelijk en attent.
