A lovely place to feel right at home. Special thanks to our waiter Mauricio for his kindness and attentiveness from the moment we arrived. We've been on holiday in Rotterdam for two weeks, and it's always nice to find somewhere where they speak Spanish. We'll definitely be back! Thank you so much!

I visited today with my toddler. Ther service was good, all the waitresses and waiters were nice, smiley and worked fast. The food was fresh better than I expected. The best part was the aperolspritz. The best I have had from a long time. Coming back for sure

Once one of Rotterdam’s best tapas spots, this place seems to have lost much of what made it special. Both the quality of the food and the level of service have declined considerably, while prices have increased. Paying more for noticeably less is difficult to justify. A real shame, especially knowing how good it used to be.

A nice location in Katendrecht with a beautiful view of the Kop van Zuid. Because it was a bit chilly, we (4 people) sat inside; the staff came to greet us immediately and showed us to our table. The ceiling and walls are nicely and cozily decorated, but the center of the restaurant lacks some decoration. The food was good; it tastes/looks very much like real Spanish food, but the ensalada rusia was very disappointing because it is simply the Dutch hussar salad. It's a shame, because the other dishes tasted very good. The staff is friendly and attentive.

This was our go to place we always enjoyed our time here but after last Thursday we won’t be coming back anymore. The menu changed more expensive with lower quality food and bad service. We had to wait for half an hour until someone took our order also they forgot our order two times. For the price it is not worth it anymore what a shame. Stars are for the view.

Unfortunately the food here is just not good and extremely overpriced for what it is. Amongst other things we ordered spanish tortilla, they serve the tiniest slice (with two dry slices of baguettes and aioli, why?) for 8 EUR and it was dry. Staff ended up removing that from our bill but why the clearly not fresh and dry tortilla lands on our table to begin with at a place operating on a hefty price point. Rest of the dishes also had unbalanced flavours. 2 stars for the friendly service and atmosphere.

Beers good, spritz was not so great, most likely already prepared one. Nice terrace and vibe.

Beautiful location, especially in the summer when you sit blissfully by the water. It is busy, so reservations are recommended. The service is quick but sometimes chaotic; for instance, we occasionally received the wrong order, but it is definitely worth a visit.

We had dinner at Pinchos with colleagues and it was a great experience. All the dishes were delicious and the service was super friendly and attentive. We enjoyed ourselves immensely. We will definitely come back again, hopefully in better weather so we can enjoy the beautiful terrace!

It's served over a rich pool of olive oil, garnished with sweet blistered cherry tomatoes, vibrant microgreens, and a generous dusting of smoky Spanish paprika. The freshness of the seafood is undeniable, making this dish an absolute must-order.

Nice location, good food, very basic service

The location and staff are nice. The food is a bit overpriced - considering the small sizes of the portions and that no flavours or dishes stood out particularly.

The food is okay, but nothing special. It's all pretty much run-of-the-mill, certainly no wow flavors. The service is downright bad. The young girls, in particular, have a strong "I don't care" attitude. All in all, it feels just like eating at a cheap chain restaurant, where you still have to shell out 170 euros for 2 people. And we didn't do anything crazy.

We arrived at 9 o'clock and they still had free tables. They looked us up and down and said there was no room. Then a group of people came after us and they *did* have room. The tone was racist and discriminatory.

The great atmosphere in the summer 🌞 but overall it's expensive. At least 50 eros per person if you don't want to come out hungty

Nothing special about the food. A few pieces of baguette prepared with little love. Never again!

Always happy to come here for food and drinks, the live music was great and of course the view of beautiful 010 makes the evening complete.

Here you step into Spanish life for a moment, with the Rotterdam skyline in the background. Delicious pinchos and tapas accompanied by good Spanish wines and beers. And if there is live music too, you really feel like you're on vacation for a while. La buena vida española

Fantastic place and top food at Rotterdam's hotspot

We wanted to end a lovely day in Rotterdam in a fitting way when this pintxos bar, situated in a nice location by the water, crossed our path. What a disappointment. Small portions, quite bland in taste (canned tomato tapenade?), and considerably overpriced in relation to the quality. The service was friendly but clumsy. We hadn't ordered anything yet and were already asked if we wanted to pay. Then it took an agonizingly long time before we received our drinks. The only thing that reached our table relatively quickly was a lonely plate of calamari, without our drinks. That is simply unacceptable. The other tapas arrived a while later, without any coherence whatsoever. The staff realized the embarrassing ineptitude and profusely apologized. At some point, enough is enough. We are therefore going to leave it at this one time.

Sells regular Iberico ham for Pata Negra for € 26. Wine arrived when food was almost finished and the waiter did not remember which wine was which. Pimientos de padron are way too salty. Such a shame for a great location

A wonderful experience at 21 Pinchos. Perfect for a (late) lunch: delicious tapas and pinchos, fresh and beautifully seasoned. The service was also very friendly and welcoming, making you feel instantly welcome. Definitely a place you'll want to return to.

The food itself was fine. The pork belly dish was quite tasty despite the strong BBQ sauce flavor, but otherwise nothing special.

Great place for Spanish food. Not exactly a Spanish atmosphere, but the food is good and the staff is surprisingly friendly. The food is reasonably priced. Beer is a bit pricey. We had a pleasant evening.

Good wines, the tapas are not delicious imo, stick to the pinchos.

The food was delicious! Both the tapas and the pinchos were truly excellent. The tables and chairs are okay. I personally don't like sitting high up. It was cold in the restaurant, though. The service was great. They explained everything clearly and came by at just the right moments. Those cheese croquettes were absolutely delicious! You can park in the garage next door for €4 per hour, but on the street it's €3.30 per hour.

Deservedly popular, both at the Markthal, the most popular location, and more peace, comfort, and atmosphere in Katendrecht, mostly the same snacks. Great!

We had a delicious meal here. They're very considerate of any allergies and proactive in communicating about them. Very helpful! The only downside was that all my clothes smelled of (greasy) food afterward.

Some reviewer on here described the food as "average." I will follow that person everywhere because I want the meal I had at 21 Pinchos to be my average meal.

Yesterday afternoon we had dinner at 21 Pinchos, and the service was fantastic. The staff were incredibly friendly. You're helped right away, and everyone is so kind and helpful. Pinchos or tapas? That was the question. We finally opted for the pinchos; they looked so delicious, and thankfully, they were. We'll definitely be back.

Lovely place. Great music and excellent tapas. Update 9/25: They need to be careful that the decor (even with new furniture after the fire) and menu don't become a middle-of-the-road restaurant. Distinctive dishes are disappearing from the menu, like the salmon tartare with avocado and the leek with goat cheese and pumpkin. But for now, it remains our favorite...

We chose 21 Pinchos for our office drinks, and it was the best choice ever. Great atmosphere, delicious pinchos, and the other snacks were also fantastic. Everything was well-prepared, with surprising flavors and an attentive staff. We'll definitely be back!

Great location, delicious pinchos, tapas, and authentic Spanish desserts! Espresso and, of course, a Licor 43. The staff is traditionally good! The only downside is that it's a bit noisy on Friday afternoons/evenings, probably due to the Friday afternoon drinks. Overall: Highly recommended!

Ordered a drink and then waited 20 minutes. I pointed out that it was taking a while. Then I waited another 15 minutes. Another comment... and then it arrived after just 5 minutes. In short, a 40-minute wait while it was almost 30 degrees outside. I won't be going back to Pincho's for a while!

The food quality was good, I understand tapas food, but I was still hungry afterward. Portions could definitely be a bit bigger or there could be more pieces. The service was friendly, excellent. There's a wooden picnic table to sit on; after a while, your bottom starts to hurt. Tip: cushions, for example. Perhaps a hanger for bags at the end or under the table would be handy. Great concept otherwise!

English speaking girl... I ask for a Prosecco, she says dry? So she only hears secco. And wants to give me a dry wine. 4 croq Queso. Super soft, no skewers or napkins served with it. I also asked for a sauce, you get mustard or something with it. Another girl says in a rather smart tone..: we are a Spanish restaurant, not Dutch. But we do have other sauces. She only brings them after those limp croquettes were already gone. Cost of sauce: € 2.50 You will never see us there again! Really untrained catering staff with an attitude. Boy oh boy...

Food was average, but tasty. I found the slices of baguette dry and not very fresh. The staff was fantastic and really made time for you. The atmosphere is especially nice outside and if you sit by the water even better with a beautiful sunset! Reservations are recommended!

Very relaxed spot to sit on the terrace with food and drinks. My experience was good, the pork belly was delicious, service friendly and fast. The view of the Wilheminapier is beautiful.

I don't know what else to write than that we had a great and delicious meal with our friends. Super cozy ambiance, where you also get a look in the kitchen and the staff is also very nice and helpful and give good tips! We will definitely come back!

Een zeer aangename locatie, sfeervol ingericht en een open keuken. Wat direct opvalt is het vriendelijke personeel. Het eten is lekker. In de keuken zie je dat het vers wordt bereid. Er is genoeg keus. De porties zijn niet heel groot, mar zeker voldoende.

What a nice place! A great place to stay. First to the Fenix ​​museum, then wine and tapas. The only disadvantage we experienced was the door that did not stick properly, in combination with guests who assumed that it would close automatically. We were sitting at the seating area next to that door, so we had to get up regularly to close the door, because the weather was bad at that time and we got the cold air over us. For the rest, perfect. The host was really Rotterdam. Direct and solid. The service efficient. Wine and tapas as they should be. Come back sometime when the sun is shining, it is a lot warmer, then it is completely complete☀️

Well, where do I start.. portions are too small, ingredients not at all tasteful or authentic. Sangria from a carton at the supermarket tastes even better.

Met lekker weer buiten aan picknicktafel gegeten. Zeer vriendelijke bediening (allemaal) en bijzonder vlotte service, terwijl het zeker niet rustig was. Een aangename ervaring.

We came for a coffee before opening time, this was no problem. Delicious cup of coffee. Will come back soon to taste something from the menu.

Very cozy restaurant with delicious food, both pinchos and tapas. I don't want to discount any of the dishes because everything was delicious, but the octopus was a highlight.

Regelmatig komen we hier en nu weer naar Rotterdam gereden om te genieten van de Heerlijke Keuzes in tapas en andere gerechten. Aanrader: penceta a grill, gemarineerd buikspek van Zeeuws scharrelvarkentje. Leuke attente bediening! Mooie start om in de sfeer te komen van Sevilla binnenkort.

Positive: the casual atmosphere, what was striking and nice was that if in doubt about beer choice, a sample was immediately offered by the alert bartender who saw us in doubt. Service was okay, but nothing special. It would have been nice if the concept had been explained at the start, I understand that many regular guests come here, but I have to remain alert to newcomers. Negative: a typical Spanish tapas, namely prawns in garlic oil, should simply be served with bread. In any case, free on request. So irritating that you see 2 x bread calculated on the bill (we even ordered this 2 x and therefore had to ask for bread 2 x) and yes, we were also charged 2 x). I don't think they do it that way in Spain. No water is offered either. I also don't understand the hype about those pinchos, not special, small and very pricey. The sirloin steak extremely expensive. Everything is expensive, but there should be a little more in return. For example, we had quite an experience in the Markthal because a very nice woman in the service turned it into a party. Everything seemed better because of that.

Great food, fantastic (personal) service and very happy with the alcohol free (affordable) drinks on offer! All in all a very good value for money. Definitely recommend going here for an evening well spent.

Authentic spanish pincho's and beers

We spontaneously drove by during the week and found the atmosphere very nice. We got a table straight away without a reservation. The service is extremely friendly. The drinks and food also came quickly. It was just consistently delicious. It's not cheap, but it's really worth ordering a drink and a bite to eat here.

Wat een top tent! Heerlijke tapas, waan jezelf even in Spanje qua vinos en tapas. De bediening heeft ook de Spaanse vibe waardoor je je zeer welkom voelt en graag terugkomt. Alle pinchos smaken heerlijk dat het moeilijk is om er 1 uit te kiezen als favoriet. De locatie is ook zeer geschikt om een (besloten) feest te geven.

Very nice atmosphere, waiter with great humor, everything was very good

Compared to other tapas restaurants in the Netherlands, this is the best choice. Obviously a bit more expensive but so much better. Nice staff, ready to laugh and communicate on every level, even the bill! Max was our host and has good communication skills. We were a nice table for him too :) Something goes wrong in every restaurant, we are all human.
