La Tapadera in Rotterdam Centrum

It is a great place to have Spanish Tapas. You can make reservations, but the area is more of a "walk by and decide what you want to have" with lots of different food spots. They have a fast and friendly service. Food tastes delicious and although the menu is small, it has lots of vegetarian options as well. Price is totally fine with the level of food they are serving. Thank you!

I am from Spain, so I am quite picky about Spanish food, but this was really, really good. The sauce of the bravas was amazing, and the tinto de verano tasted like home. I know it's expensive, but it's the Netherlands, and once in a while, I really enjoy eating good food.

Incredible place with incredible service. What I appreciate is eating a good croquette in the middle of Holland 🥹 Cover transports me home. The bombs and croquettes are to die for. Accompanied with a good summer red wine or vermouth... nothing, that's priceless 🙏🏼 The people behind the bar are another thing that makes this bar the most special

We went there for dinner because of the stars. We wondered why the bars around were packed and there was nothing going on here... Our conclusion. Totally overpriced, strange portions and nothing special. The ambience is anything but cozy or stylish or with attention to detail. No idea where the other reviewers were before us...

Everything was extremely impeccable, food, atmosphere and service! I am not fluent in any language other than Portuguese, and this makes it difficult for me to place orders, but the attendants were extremely polite, patient and friendly. Thanks

It is on a spectacular street with a lot of atmosphere, the food is delicious, for being Spanish it is not far from reality, a 10 without a doubt!!!!!!✨

A friend recommended it to me and it has been a success without a doubt. The meatballs, spectacular. And the Russian salad, very successful. What can we say about the kalimotxo they served us… kalimotxo in Rotterdam itself! The atmosphere and service, equally great. We will be back!

Good food, small business and therefore enough attention. Food was good and service was nice. But it was so quiet and that did not match our perception of the quality.

Not recommended. We made a reservation here but ended up in an empty place at 6:30 PM with little atmosphere. To start we ordered an aperitif, a rosé wine from Bilbao. The waiter, a young student worker who was friendly enough and tried his best, but only spoke English, arrived with two glasses of white wine. We pointed out to him that we had ordered rosé, whereupon he went back to return with wine that looked a little more rosé, but in our opinion was not quite it. We left it at that, unfortunately the wine was not tasty and already a bit sour. Then we ordered some small things such as bruschetta with tomatoes (pan con tomate), patatas bravas and albondigas. The rolls were too hard, the albondigas were not tasty and in our opinion not cooked enough. Only the fries weren't too bad, they could have been a bit warmer. Of course we didn't feel like ordering anything else and asked for the bill. We had hoped to be immersed in a nice Spanish atmosphere because we really love tasty tapas, but this was a disappointment on many levels. The Spanish hostess with the smile that is mentioned in many articles arrived around 7 pm. We didn't see much laughter, nor a friendly good day. Not worth your money.

This lovely restaurant has an intimate ambiance, the dishes are freshly prepared with daily menus that feature seasonal offerings. Located in the hip Witte neighborhood in Rotterdam, its premium location makes it a must stop for an amazing eating experience!

The truth is that I don't usually go to Spanish restaurants outside of Spain, but La Tapadera is truly an exception. The food, the service, the location, everything is unbeatable. It was like feeling at home. I will come back permanently.

Oof. Little for much. Mediocre wine from the wine list. Half of the staff only speaks poor English, the other half only speaks English. Ordered, among other things, anchovies with olives and chips. Was served without olives and chips. When asked about the olives; "No, we haven't." No apology, no compensation. We ate the six meager pieces of fish (10 euros). Mealy. Gambas for 16 euros are simple shrimps floating in oil. A Spanish bistro without olives. Real? Oof..

Love this place, so good food, drinks and atmosphere overall. Staff is very friendly and great playlist playing on the background (Spanish music and I love it😍). Good place for brunch or Friday evening, lots of fun and enjoyment.

Absolutely gorgeous little place with plenty of space to sit inside. Breakfast is unique as their croissants are more like brioche, and their coffee is great. Service is kind with English speakers! We will come back!

If was our first time here, and for sure not the last time. Me and my wife enjoyed the atmosphere of this small place. Tapas was very tasty and although the card at a first impression may look small, the various choices are more then enough. Service people are very friendly and if needed give you perfect advise. We wil come back to this place for sure. A perfect 10.

Goed ontvangen, alert (je wordt gezien) en met een glimlach. Eten was lekker, broodje ietwat krokant aan één kant, daardoor lastig (netjes) te snijden :). Prettige, beleefde, bediening (spreken gewoon Nederlands).

Best tapas bar in Rotterdam by far!!! The Spanish croquettes are out of this world!!! The bravas so soft inside and crispy on the out side,just amazing!!! The toust and bocadillos they have for Lunch are very tasty….I’m coming back 100% next week😎❤️

We tried the pimentos de padrón, boquerones, alcochofas and mushroom croquettes. We loved the alcochofas, the artichoke tapa. The anchovies in vinegar was also good, but too vinegary for me, but I still liked it. The pimentos de padrón were a bit too thin, still flavourful, but I would've like them more meaty. And would've likes some chunks in the mushroom croquettes, but still great regardless. So, great food and friendly staff. In any case, it's was a nice (different) experience.

I loved this place and went there for both breakfast and lunch. It is super well located in this lovely street full of people chilling in bars. Dishes are delicious, the service and prices are very good. Artichokes we’re delicious. I highly recommend this place

La comida no está mal, me gustan los pimientos de Padrón y las gambas al ajillo. la tabla mixta no me gusta mucho, las verduras cocidas y el toque de fresas dentro de la tabla son un poco pasadas,ya no se pueden comer , qué pena! El precio es un poco caro.

El pollo al ajillo estaba tremendo!! El arroz negro con calamares expectacular. Servicio y calidad de locos!! Tapitas y cervecita d España! Recomendado 100%.

De prijs qualiteit is niet in balans, veelste hoge prijzen voor het gene wat je krijgt. De tapas zijn ontzettend klein en je betaald best veel.
