Team Aan de Gracht catered our buffet for our company party at Staal12. It was absolutely fantastic. Everything was delicious and varied. The service was super friendly. Highly recommended.

What a wonderful evening we had last Monday. Beautiful restaurant, great menu, fantastic host, and above all, flavorful dishes. The game stew was delicious. As was the rosefish and duck breast ceviche. The dessert, once again, was a striking combination of rich flavors: chocolate mousse with, among other things, mint jelly and cherry ice cream. We truly enjoyed it together. The best gluten-free experience in Sneek. Highly recommended, and we'd love to come back.

I've been a regular here for lunch for a few years now. The staff knows me so well that I often don't have to say anything because I almost always get the same thing, the same way, 99% of the time. One or two bottles of coke (sometimes I start with coffee). Then the 12-hour meal on white bread with tomato soup, unless they have a different soup, but in that case I often stick with the tomato. I get one loaf of bread with a croquette, one loaf with a fried egg, one loaf with cheese, soup, and a salad. Delicious. Large chunks of bread. I spent around 20 euros, and I think that's a good, fair price for lunch and two drinks. The staff is friendly, works well, and is motivated. The owner (or whoever I think is the owner) is a hard worker who also helps out with the service. In all the years I've been coming, I've only experienced one major issue, and that was the tomato soup being cold, but otherwise, I've never had any problems. I hope I can continue coming here for lunch for years to come, either alone or with others, because I swear by the canal as a top-notch lunch restaurant. Thanks for the service. And until next time.

What an incredibly wonderful evening we had at Aan de Gracht! We look back on it with a smile... We chose a four-course meal and let the chef surprise us. We had gazpacho, steak tartare, cod, sea bass, wild boar, veal cheek, and chocolate mousse. Wow, what a treat! Besides the excellent food and friendly service, the restaurant's decor is also warm and inviting. Sneek has gained an excellent restaurant!

The staff were friendly and competent. Dinner was very good, from the appetizer to the dessert. The only thing to note is that the tables should be cleared after the meal. But we can still recommend it.

We had to wait a very long time for our main course, the portions were small, and the waitresses, while warm and friendly, weren't very attentive. The price-quality ratio wasn't ideal!

A complete tourist trap. Prices are completely exorbitant (€10 beer, €22 burger, €50 sole). The food is mediocre and tastes more like a frozen treat than freshly cooked. For the money, you expect more than "fair." All four dishes actually came with fries, but they served two mini bowls to share. Cutting costs at the expense of the guests is clearly the order of the day here. Cleanliness is poor: tables are sticky, everything looks dirty. The restrooms are a disgrace; I've rarely seen such a disgusting condition (right next to the open kitchen). Conclusion: If you're happy to pay a lot for little and enjoy dirty tables and terrible toilets, this is the place for you.

Good staff. Very friendly. When leaving I couldn't resist telling them that they are great.

It's in a very nice location. But it wasn't very good for us. There was a dirty ashtray on the table that smelled. We went to get one of the menus, which was covered in a dried-out white paste. There were three of us and we each ordered a drink. They brought two. We ordered three main courses. After about 45 minutes of waiting for our food, we moved to a table inside because it was cold and the table was dirty with food scraps. They didn't clean it. After 10-15 minutes of sitting at the dirty table, they brought us the three main courses. We had waited about an hour for a meal that wasn't that elaborate to take so long. The menu said there would be potatoes and vegetables to accompany the main courses. They only brought enough for one. When we asked if they only brought that, they offered to bring us more, which we accepted. They never brought it. My experience with them wasn't very good.

Food was good but the sides for the main dishes for three people was the amount that one could eat alone. Also long waiting time. Wouldn't go again. Toilets should be renovated.

Afgelopen woensdag hebben we met vrienden gegeten bij Aan de Gracht in Sneek. We werden hartelijk ontvangen en voelden ons meteen welkom. De sfeer is gezellig en ontspannen. Precies wat je hoopt tijdens een etentje met goed gezelschap. We kozen alle vier voor de mosselen, en die waren heerlijk: goed op smaak en mooi geserveerd, met voldoende bijgerechten erbij. Tussendoor werd ook gevraagd of alles naar wens was, en dat was het zeker. De drankjes werden goed in de gaten gehouden en dat droeg bij aan een prettige, verzorgde middag en avond. De nagerechten maakten het helemaal af. Ik koos de chocolademousse met kokosijs; een verrassend lichte mousse, romig en perfect in balans. Echt een aanrader. Kortom: een sfeervolle plek om lekker te eten in Sneek. Wij kijken met plezier terug op deze avond!

Schuilend voor een regenbui kwamen we bij toeval dit restaurant binnen. De ambiance was prettig, evenals de verwelkoming door een aardige heer die snel en adequaat adviseerde en bediende. Na het hoofgerecht was de aardige heer verdwenen en het restaurant in handen van goedwillend maar incompetent personeel. Wij wachtten zeer lang totdat er werd afgeruimd, we moesten er zelfs om vragen (?!), Ook andere tafels werden niet afgeruimd. We kregen de dessertkaart, maar het dessert werd nooit opgenomen. Toen maar koffie en de rekening besteld, jammer!

Mooi terras en aardige bediening, hoge prijzen voor te weinig en gerechten worden niet kompleet uitgeserveerd! Al met al teleurstellend voor een dikke prijs!

I only sat there briefly to pass the time. The seat was on the street, right next to a canal. It was a prime spot for observing the many passersby. It overlooked a small market and the surrounding shops. The service was very friendly. I would have loved to stay longer.

Klantgerichter kan ik me niet voorstellen er is ook geweldig eten.De sfeer is ook goed en ze gaan ook heel goed om met kieskeurige klanten en zo kan ik nog wel even doorgaan.

For the first time in my life in Sneek, beautiful place! For lunch we ended up at this establishment Aan de gracht where we were warmly welcomed by the owner/host. You immediately feel at home and welcome. Everything was right for me, delicious wine and the lunch I will not soon forget. Even though it was earlier in the afternoon I was still allowed to order a starter from the dinner menu. A fish platter, how I enjoyed it! The music that was played was beautiful and touched me inside. Again everything was perfect! When I am in Friesland again I will come here to enjoy it again, so highly recommended!

The positive right at a channel with some interesting beers and what we some from other tables good and well prepared portions. Bitterballen on the higher levels. Cheerful server. Good mustard. The negative. Getting a beer took ten minutes after ordering, service was understaffed so took quite some time veven if 5he waiters did do 5heir level best.

Very poor. Ravioli was very little and dry, lay in water. The Club Sandwich was not much.

Super duper Host, we had dinner here today. Was fantastic and the service and food was just great! The chef is also part of the servixe them and he gave excellent service! We will come back, if we will stay in Sneek again. Thanks to the team!

Fijn en knus restaurant. Van buitenaf al sfeervol verlicht. We zaten erg gezellig, lekker druk. Vleesplankje vooraf is véél! Zeg maar vleesplank. Carpaccio wordt vers geslagen en de lamsrack was botermals. Absoluut heerlijk gegeten, fijne en attente bediening en gewoon een aanrader!

Great place for a good lunch. Richly filled sandwiches for a great price. We had 'Hot Chicken Sandwich' and 'Farmer's Omelet', delicious!

Slechte ervaring. Serveerster maakte bord op met blote handen. Bij betaling werd 10 euro teveel gerekend. Dacht dat u een fles wijn besteld had ipv glas. Op bon staat proforma rekening. Te betalen Euro 41,25 Daaronder vermeld . Geen betaling ontvangen. Zo houd je omzet buiten de boeken.

Bread was already soggy when served from floating in the salad dressing. Lettuce was already quite brown (old), soup bland and the hot meat was warmed up, not fried. A friendly waitress, but otherwise a waste of our money. Never again

Brood was bij serveren al sompig van het drijven in de saladedressing. Sla was al aardig bruin(oud), soep flauw en het warm vlees opgewarmd, niet gebakken. Wel een vriendelijke serveerster, verder een verspilling van ons geld. Nooit weer

Als je een keer niet in eigen stad wil eten is dit een fantastisch idee! Met 30 minuten waren wij in Sneek. Heerlijk gegeten en leuk contact met het personeel. Komen hier zeker terug!

15 februari gingen mijn vrouw en ik gezellig uiteten. We werden vriendelijk ontvangen. Mijn vrouw nam een witte wijn en ik een cola. Vooraf hadden wij kaasfondue, die echt een aanrader is. Mijn vrouw had biefstuk puntjes en ik de kipsate met een iets wat pittige satesaus. De eigenaar vroeg of alles naar wens was. Natuurlijk. Alleen vond mijn vrouw de witte wijn niet zo zoet, dus maakte hij een zoete coctail voor haar. En die was echt zoet haha. Zeer genoten en zeker voor herhaling vatbaar. Tot de volgende keer.

Food was fine, nothing special. The service was poor: the waiter indicated that it was taking a very long time, but only received a response after fifteen minutes. Indicated to the owner at checkout, who offered no apologies and the blame lay with us and the small kitchen.

The food is very tasty and of good quality. The owner and staff are very hospitable and helpful. The chefs take allergies into account very carefully.

Een gezellige ambiance als je binnenkomt. Ziet er sfeervol uit. Het eten was een domper. De eend kwam zo uit de magnetron. De vetlaag van de eendenborstfilets niet kruislings ingesneden tot het vlees. Niet knapperig op de huid gebakken. De groente, bospeen en aardappelschijfjes, zo slap als een dweil en lauw. Brrr chef, beroepsdeformatie. Eén ster is nog te veel voor het eten.

A cozy ambiance when you enter. Looks attractive. The food was a downer. The duck came straight from the microwave. The fat layer of the duck breast fillets is not cut crosswise to the meat. Not fried crispy on the skin. The vegetables, carrots and potato slices, as limp as a mop and lukewarm. Brrr chief, professional deformation. One star is still too much for the food.

Delicious dishes, good price. In the center of Sneek

Heerlijk gegeten met 16 personen. De bediening was prima, we hebben nergens lang op hoeven wachten en konden allemaal tegelijk eten. Eén biefstuk was medium besteld maar kwam well done aan tafel en als er zoveel ui op de gegratineerde champignons zitten is het misschien een idee om dat ook te vermelden op de menukaart, maar verder hebben we overal van gesmuld. Het was heerlijk en heel gezellig!

Vanmiddag geluncht bij restaurant Aan de gracht. Dit was de eerste en gelijk ook de laatste keer dat ik hier ben geweest. Allereerst duurde het erg lang voordat de serveerster bij ons kwam om de bestelling op te nemen en nog langer voordat de broodjes kwamen. De cappuccino was koffie met warme melk. Het broodje was sompig, doordat het in het vocht van de garnering lag. De plakjes tomaat bij de garnering waren bedorven (waarschijnlijk lagen deze plakjes tomaat al een paar dagen onder in de voorraad bak). Geen aanrader!

Mooie plek, vriendelijke bediening, goed eten, maar veel te dure wijn. Sauvignon Blanc € 7,50 per glas en chardonnay € 6. Thuis zag ik op de nota dat het om Klein Friesland wijnen ging. Men had dat moeten melden met de fors hogere prijs die daarvoor wordt berekend. De klant had de keuze moeten hebben om een andere normaler geprijsde wijn te kiezen.

Price quality not okay, there were 2 of us, I was shocked by the price of the wine. 15.50 for 2 glasses😭 also that you had to pay separately for the side dishes, we had pork tenderloin. Much overcooked, but that's fine, everyone's taste is not ours. and that for 90 euros.

Es war heute wieder ein sehr schöner Abend. Sehr netter und flinker Service. Der Chef kocht hier selbst. Alles sehr lecker. Hier wird z. B. Carpaccio noch frisch zubereitet. Englisch, deutsch, kein Problem. Sogar bei unserem holprigen niederländisch wir geduldig zugehört. Wir kommen ganz bestimmt wieder und lassen uns kulinarisch verwöhnen. Hartelijk bedankt.

Nice business, but if you can't get a beer at 8:30 PM in the summer, as a company you should ask yourself whether you should become a lunchroom instead of a restaurant. Especially if, according to Google, you are open until 10:00 PM. You can eat well here.

Bruger without side dishes 23 euros? If it were good it wouldn't be an issue but the patty was completely black on the outside and unfortunately raw on the inside. Pink would be ok, but it was more like red. Small water there is only half a glass for 4 euros, at least the iced tea tasted good. You also get forgotten every now and then so sorry for the price but absolutely not recommended...

Beautiful place, friendly service, but the food was not really great. Steak tips too well done, spare ribs not really much flavor. 1 small bowl of fries for 5 people? And the toilet simply needs to be repaired.

It seems your servers are stretched too thin, and it’s beginning to show. We were seated at a table that hadn’t yet been cleared from the previous guests. While we didn’t say anything, the frustration with which the glasses and empty bottles were removed made us feel uncomfortable, as though it was our fault they were left there. It appeared that the server was handling all the tables outside alone. Perhaps your staff could benefit from better support to prevent their stress from affecting the customer experience.

Inappropriate and loud music on the terrace. Not cozy. It took a while before we got our drinks. Schnitzels were dry and got 1 bowl of fries for the 3 of us. Staff all went on the terrace to smoke among people. Not very appropriate. Ended up having to walk in for the bill after asking about it.

Where should I start...? After a long day on the boat, we were looking forward to a nice dinner. The density of restaurants is very high here, unfortunately we chose the wrong restaurant. We sat down at a table that was still untidy because there was no room for 10 people. After a while the drinks order was taken. Wiping the table or taking away old glasses was not implemented. When the drinks came again after a long wait, the table was cleared. But the leftover food from the predecessors remained. At some point it was finally time for us to order our food. However, this didn't arrive after 1.5 hours, so we decided to leave. A small group of us got a table of 4 and were served just as badly, except that the food arrived there. Mushrooms burned, vegetables frozen. It's really sad to have to have visited such a restaurant. We're definitely not coming back. Apparently there is no need to earn money in this restaurant. It's really not possible to keep a group of 10 people waiting for so long in all matters and not to inform them.

Dachten een leuk plekje gevonden te hebben om even met de kids te uit eten. Ook n.a.v. de referenties. Maar sorry dit is tot nu 1 van de slechtste plekken waar we uit zijn wezen eten. Vroegen wel direct begrip als het wat langer deed uiteraard alle begrip voor maar als je een uur op een broodplankje moet wachten en een half uur voordat je elke keer wat drinken wordt aangeboden dat is wel heel erg lang. Iets over half 7 zaten we daar eten kwam pas een uur tot anderhalf uur later. Ps tijdens het eten zelf kwamen ze binnen 15 min wel 3x vragen of alles goed was en smaakte. Heel eerlijk gezegd hadden we het liefst weggaan, mijn man stond op ontploffen van boosheid, dus zeiden we maar snel ja hoor en wisten niet hoe snel we weg moesten wezen. In het anderhalf uur wachten op het eten hebben we 3 drankjes kunnen vragen want meer kwamen ze niet. Ze liepen de tafel elke keer straal voorbij naar het buiten terras. en daarnaast leek de rib eye wel doodgeslagen en veelste veel doorgebakken leek wel elastiek. Als je eindelijk een drankje had kunnen bestellen vergaten ze het weer. Gebakken aardappels kregen we voor 1 persoon terwijl we dit 2maal hadden besteld en zelfs het juiste sausje voor je kind bij de friet ging verkeerd en moesten we 2 keer om vragen 136 euro kwijt maar geen van ons heeft t eten opgegeten sterker zijn daarna alsnog maar naar de Mac gereden eten is daar nog beter. Voor het personeel nee het is niet de schuld van de dode muis waarop we jullie wezen.
