Sehr freundliches Personal, sehr gutes Essen die Bewertungen davor kann ich nicht nachvollziehen. Kann das Restaurant nur weiter empfehlen

Essen war gut - der außerordentlich schlechte Service und die Laune der Bedienung haben unser Erlebnis jedoch getrübt.

Workum, een mooi historisch stadje en een uitstekend restaurant. Bij de fam. Folkerts. Heerlijk gegeten en vlotte bediening!

Ik heb heerlijk genoten van een drankje op het zonnige terras van Restaurant Folkerts in Workum. Het terras biedt een prachtig uitzicht op het oude stadje en het is er gezellig zitten. De bediening was bijzonder vriendelijk en attent, wat de ervaring extra aangenaam maakte. Een fijne plek om even te ontspannen en te genieten van de sfeer in het historische centrum

Heerlijke Paasbrunch. Met veel zorg klaargemaakt. Fantasierijk met eetbare viooltjes.Vriendelijke bediening. Mooie inrichting.

Heerlijk gegeten echter de bon klopte niet, stond wijn op wat we niet drinken. Kreeg cash geld terug echter geen excuus, is hier zeker normaal. Jammer hoor.

Vriendelijke en vlotte bediening , jammer dat de lunch wat tegen viel. De bestelde patat met kibbeling vooral de kibbeling was niet zoals ik had verwacht. Proefde alleen maar gebakken bloem . Dat moet toch anders kunnen .

War mit Freunden dort zum Essen verabredet. Schon beim Betreten fand ich das Lokal schon sehr ansprechen. Wir wurden sofort sehr freundlich vom Personal empfangen und erhielt auch gleich einen schönen Sitzplatz. Die Speisekarte empfand ich als sehr ansprechend. Wir bestellten jeweils unterschiedliche Essen und waren total begeistert. Sowohl das Essen sowie auch der Preis waren absolut ok. Ich kann dieses Lokal nur empfehlen und werde bei Zeiten wieder vorbeikommen.

Get a table without a reservation. The staff very friendly. We got our drinks quickly and even though it was busy we didn't have to wait long for our food. The food was really very tasty.

It is a brewery with a restaurant built inside a cave in the mountain. The staff was friendly and the food was absolutely great. Throw in the ambience of the cave and you have a perfect place to enjoy the evening.

A fantastic restaurant!! We chose the menu of the month and loved it! Unfortunately I forgot to take a photo, my hunger and appetite were too great! Definitely recommended!

A nice place in the centre of Workum and connected to the Jopie Huisman museum. Friendly people with good, solid food. The fish was perfect, as well as the 'Folkerts Burger'. Good creme brulee and their specialty. Fresh beer and good wines

Wir fühlten uns nicht willkommen! Das sagt alles. Wir hatten uns gesetzt und sahen in die mürrische Gesichter. Kein Guten Tag, keine weiteren Karten, kein freundliches Wort. Drei konnten bestellen. Die anderen mussten noch kurz in die Karte schauen. Wortlos ging die Dame weg, Wir auch. So können wir leider nichts über die Qualität des Essens sagen. Gegen über gibts Cafe mit einem Schuss freundlicher Worte und ein Gefühl, willkommen zu sein.

Had a delicious meal at the end of July. We had made a reservation but it was no problem to eat the starter outside. Then ate the main course within. An excellent service!

Wir waren zum Kaffe und Kuchen auf der Terrasse. Eigentlich waren wir mit dem Service und Kuchen sowie Getränken gut zufrieden. Die Rechnung von 21,55€ haben wir mit Karte bezahlt. Trinkgeld gab es qwie immer bei uns in bar. Nach Durchsicht unserer Kontoauszüge zu Hause mußten wir feststellen, dass uns 28,00€ abgebucht wurden. Wie soll man das denn nun bewerten??? Also Augen auf beim bezahlen!!!

Prima eten voor een prima prijs. Personeel is vriendelijk, genoeg keuze qua eten en een mooit uitzicht vanaf het terras op het oude stadje.

Come to Folkerts often and it is always good. Only the quality of the carpaccio was a bit disappointing, otherwise excellent service and nice seating.

2024 And again a delicious meal on the terrace. Excellent service Delicious food again. The old-fashioned rhubarb is special in the side dishes. Excellent food for a great price. Salad was a bit bland but more than sufficient side.

I've been to Folkerts before and had a delicious club sandwich with a latte. A cozy restaurant on a square. And then to the Jopie Huisman museum.

We ate there two weeks ago and could outside :) Service was really friendly, fast and helpful. We had the plaice fillets and a plate with three different kinds of fish, each with two sides (vegetables, salad, fries & fried potatoes). Everything was fresh and really good.

Just managed to get a table for two without a reservation. We've been there before, we were happy with everything. 😁

Beautiful restaurant! Informal and historical. Very suitable for vegans. Multiple vegan options. Delicious dishes and large portions with many side dishes without paying extra. We had lunch and dinner here. Both great! A truly beautiful square, car and cyclist free, beautiful view of one of the most beautiful village centers in the Netherlands.

A very nice restaurant with very tasty food. The staff was very attentive and friendly. Although the restaurant was very busy, we didn't have to wait too long. What really bothered us was that the dog got his own chair at the table behind us and waited with his front paws on the table for the owner to finally put something from her plate on a saucer so that the DOG could eat on the chair. This was tolerated by the waiters. We also have a dog but that is disgusting and unacceptable for other guests. It's a shame, that took some of the enthusiasm out of our stay in their restaurant.

Had a nice lunch after a visit to Jopie's museum... Smooth service and tasty food for normal prices.

Ordered spareribs and chicken wings. For the price of 22.50 I expected more. 1 spare rib of 15 cm and 4 chicken wings were on the plate. Since chicken meat is the cheapest piece of meat, this meat dish may barely cost 2.50 euros before purchasing. Sparerib was also tasteless, the sauce, too small a bowl of grill sauce was not enough to enhance the taste. Coupe strawberry for 7.95 was really too small for that price... Skuumkoppe beer on tap is twice as expensive as Heineken on tap. The waitress responds cleverly to this. Reserved a week in advance with a request to sit by the window. We did not sit by the window but against a wall... while there was room to sit by a window... too bad... 40 years anniversary was sourly celebrated with this experience...

Unfortunately, it is difficult for the ministry to help someone who is alone. It's like you're invisible. After asking 3 times, it finally came into view and from then on it was positive!

We had two very tasty dishes. Dishes listed as vegetarian were all vegan. The food was absolutely great and there were also generous side dishes.

Super restaurant, it was not that busy but the appearance and the staff are very helpful.. my car was at the garage and I was looking for a place where I could sit quietly and work as it would take a few hours before the part broke down. laundry was delivered and replaced (brought work laptop).. this was no problem, I was given a nice quiet spot in the corner where there were also sockets for power for the laptop, etc.... food was also delicious (I had the 12 hour sea lunch) ... was just left alone and they came at the right time to ask if I needed anything so they were not pushy at all. I would definitely come back here again, even if it is to have lunch in this cheerful village/town.

Chicken wings were awful Staff not friendly

I was looking for cup of coffee and imagine I tried each cafe bar in nearby area and they have been all closed despite the fact that was around 3PM. Funny fact i came to Restaurant Folkerts and I got there coffee for take away in very nice paper cup for very decent price and coffee was really tasty. So if you're looking for good coffee in Workum - do not look for cafe bars, you should go directly to Restaurant Folkerts for decent quality of coffee.

Has an inner passage to Jopie Huisman Museum. After visiting this museum, we enjoyed cappuccino with monschou pastries at Folkerts. Went well. Friendly service by young staff. Beautiful location !

Hier kun je heerlijk eten. En je kunt het zo krijgen als je graag wilt. Super bediening en mooie plek.

Eten was lekker en de sfeer was goed op het terras. Bedienen had het druk en hebben lang met lege borden op tafel gezeten.

Tolles Essen großes Lob an den Koch und den sehr guten Service

Eten was matig. Gereserveerd vooraf en dan wordt je alsnog in de kantine van het naastgelegen museum geplaatst omdat er in het restaurant geen plek blijkt te zijn. Teleurstellend.

We hadden niet ruim van te voren gereserveerd, maar konden alsnog op korte termijn een tafeltje voor 6 personen reserveren. Het restaurant zit midden in Workum en zit ‘vast’ aan het Jopie Huisman museum. Vanaf de plaats die wij kregen keken we recht het museum in. Ondanks dat een hapje buiten de deur steeds prijziger wordt en over het algemeen over de kwaliteit niet naar huis te schrijven is, waren we allen positief verrast bij dit bezoek. Gewoon een normale zeer vriendelijke en vlotte bediening en door medewerkers die snappen hoe het werkt, lege flesjes weg, vragen of er nog wat ingeschonken kon worden en nergens moeilijk over doen. Wij vonden dat o.a. wat uiteten gaan betreft in Friesland de tijd heeft stilgestaan en alleen maar ten goede, omdat er gewoon goede kwaliteit en kwantiteit werd geserveerd. In de randstad moeten de gerechten steeds verwonderlijker, terwijl de kwaliteit achteruit rent. En dan heb ik het nog niet eens over de verveling die van de gezichten van veel horeca medewerkers afdruipt, sfeerloos je portemonnee leegtrekken. Zo anders was het bij Folkerts. Bij dergelijke restaurants geef ik graag mijn geld uit en zijn we met een goed en tevreden gevoel huiswaarts gegaan.

We hadden gereserveerd. Wat we niet wisten is dat reserveringen enkel voor de binnenplaatsen is. Op een zwoele zomeravond is dit dus geen optie. Verder enkel lovende woorden.

'S avonds om kwart voor 8 kon ik nog een Zee 12 uurtje bestellen,met n warme snee bruin brood met garnalen kroket ,nog 1 met heerlijke Tonijnsalade en een derde snee met gerookte zalm ( die niet naar vitamine B smaakte,maar heerlijk naar Zalm)

Mooi restaurant op een prachtige locatie! Een heerlijk diner gegeten op het terras, de bediening was goed en vriendelijk.

Haben mal wieder sehr gut gegessen.

Egal ob drinnen oder draußen, leckeres Essen und Getränke. Preise okay.

Vandaag samen met mijn dochter een heerlijk broodje bij jullie gegeten. Ondanks een heel druk terras toch een snelle en vriendelijke bediening.

Heute gab es für mich Fisch mit dem üblichen Zutaten wie Pommes, Salat und Kartoffeln. Reichlich und sehr lecker. Auf dem Platz hier heute Livemusik. Passt alles zu einem Urlaubstag.

Na een dagje Friesland hier heerlijk gegeten. Geen liflafjes, maar goed gevulde borden. En het was super voor elkaar. Prettige en vooral vriendelijke bediening. Een pluim waard!

In dit restaurant maken de voormalige patisserie broers iedere dag nog het gebak. En dat proef je. Vooral de monchou is weergaloos lekker.

Heerlijk gegeten, onwijs vriendelijk personeel. Zeker de moeite waard om even wat te eten of te drinken als je je in Workum bevind

De flatwhite was meer koffie verkeerd, erg slap. De verse muntthee was meer warm water, geen muntsmaak. De salade was oké.

In Workum the place to be vrolijke en zeer vriendelijke bediening en een meer als uitstekende prijs kwaliteits verhouding
