If you ever visit, you have to order the Sneek 'uitsmijter'. Highly recommended!

We had another delicious meal. This time the tournedos, which was perfectly prepared. The mustard soup was also delicious. Welcoming and friendly service. Cozy atmosphere. We would love to come back again!

The food was of very good quality compared to other options at the location. Portions were a bit small for the price. Unfortunately, the service today (July 1st) was very unmotivated. There was no greeting, and drink orders and menus were only provided after persistent attempts to contact them (the same was true for neighboring tables). No one asked if we were satisfied or if we wanted any more drinks. After 8 pm, the staff changed, and things became somewhat more professional towards the end. There is definitely potential if the service becomes more consistent and the portion sizes perhaps increase.

The food itself was fine, and it is a pleasant terrace with prompt service. Prices are good. The glassware was not entirely clean and was sticky. When I asked for the bill, a price was mentioned immediately and the card machine was presented. That needs to change. I want to be able to verify if the amount is correct. So, a few points for improvement, but otherwise a fine spot for lunch or a drink.

We had a fantastic meal! The staff is very friendly upon arrival and throughout the entire evening. The food is truly superb, and they have some nice dishes on the menu. We enjoyed a delicious dinner and will definitely be back.

A beautiful restaurant, lovely atmosphere, and very friendly staff. We walked in a bit later on Saturday evening without a reservation, and fortunately, there was still a spot where we could sit and enjoy a delicious meal! When the weather is nice, it is very pleasant to sit on the terrace here. You really get pampered! And during the summer months, they also have music on the square on Thursdays, so that is double the enjoyment! We will definitely be back here again ; )

Excellent in every way! The food is very nicely prepared and presented. It is simple, typical Dutch favourites but the quality is better than average, the service is quite fast, the outside seating is very nice and it’s busy but not too crowded. The waiter took a nice photo of our group and incredibly resisted the “waiter selfie”

In the center of Snitze, an oasis of peace and quality where you can find and read a newspaper. It's uniquely cozy, and the food is a true breath of fresh air. Friendly staff, delicious food, and above all: everything is perfect.

We come here regularly for a drink. Today we ordered some starters just to be tasty. Delicious! The location is also very cozy, right in the center, and in the summer there is often a chance of live music on the square. The service is friendly and efficient.

Nice spot in the center of Sneek. If you come early you can't have lunch yet, but you can take a seat for coffee and cake!

The Netherlands at its narrowest: at 5 to 5 you can still order a salad, at 5 past 5 (while the neighbours were getting salads) we are stuck with the expensive dinner menu.

We ended our weekend of 'NK skating' with a visit to Onder de Linden. We enjoyed the food. The place is beautiful and the service is great! What nice people work here. Sneek can be proud of this restaurant.

This afternoon we enjoyed a delicious lunch, a 12 hour meal and a wrap, it was all delicious, also important we were helped by a young lady and young gentleman, they were so friendly and attentive, it made the food taste even better.

Good terrace in Sneek, professional service and reasonable prices. The Mort Subit white Lambic is not drinkable if you like bitter beer.

Ate with a group. Started with 2 bread boards that contained very little spread and had to pay 8 x 3.90 for them. 3 cups of fries for 14 people is very little and we asked for more but had to pay extra for it. The food was simple, little salad or other vegetables on the plate. Not to mention dessert! Never had such a thin crème brulee before, even though you had to pay almost 8 euros for it. We often eat here twice a year, but decided that this was the last time for us!

We had dinner here with colleagues and we received a three-course menu. Everything was very tasty and well prepared! As a sugar-free eater, I always skip dessert, but they had specially made a plate full of sugar-free goodies. Really wow! This restaurant is highly recommended. The staff was very friendly and took intolerances very well into account! Had a super fun evening and delicious food 🙏

We have been coming to "Onder de Linden" for years, the quantity, quality (and also the staff) have always been top notch. Unfortunately, staff shortages and high prices have also struck here, resulting in the experience not being what it used to be. A lot of difference in waiting staff, wrong orders, forgotten orders and paying very generously for very modest portions. It's a shame that things are going this way, but there is certainly room for improvement.

We were here for an outing to celebrate a colleague's anniversary. I found the setup very cramped, no room to talk to each other, because you sat on a couch and chairs, even one with its back to the rest. As if you had too many guests on your birthday in a living room that was too small.

Wij zijn hier met z’n drieën wezen lunchen. De carpaccio en broodje brie was goed. Ik daarentegen kreeg een koude rauwe burger, dit doorgeven en toen kreeg ik dezelfde burger terug, maar dan horizontaal doormidden gesneden??… hij was opnieuw gebakken en het broodje was met alles erop in een tosti ijzer gedaan en helemaal platgestampt.. ik denk dat de chef-kok de dag ervoor misschien een feestje had (het was sneekweek) en geen zin had in zijn werk, want ja dit sloeg natuurlijk nergens op. Wel een heel aardig personeel verder en ze hadden alle begrip (hoefde niet voor de burger te betalen, natuurlijk) maar toch een vreemde ervaring.

We ate delicious mussels, absolutely delicious! We had a super enjoyable evening and the service certainly deserves a compliment, especially Jasper who gave us very nice advice on wine and dessert. We will definitely come again....

Today we had dinner at Restaurant Onder de Linden in Sneek, and it was downright disappointing. Although the decor upon arrival was beautiful, the rest of the experience left much to be desired. The staff was extremely disinterested and surly, which immediately ruined the atmosphere. We opted for the 3-course menu for 45 euros, but it soon became apparent that there were no permanent staff per section of tables. As a result, we were continuously helped by different waiters, who kept asking the same questions. This made for a chaotic and impersonal experience. The starter was already mediocre, but we had hope that the main course would be better. Unfortunately, that turned out not to be the case. Although the presentation of the dish was beautiful, that was the only positive. The duck breast fillet was poorly cooked; the skin was soft and oily, which is absolutely not normal. To make matters worse, the so-called "hash potatoes" were clearly boiled instead of fried, which ruined the entire meal. All in all a very disappointing experience. For this price we expected much more. This restaurant is definitely not recommended if you are looking for a high-quality and enjoyable dining experience. We did receive compensation for our bad experiences at checkout, so we had to pay less. That makes it positive again

We went here for a drink in the afternoon. All very well taken care of. Mint tea with option for a slice of lemon or orange. That little bit of extra attention helps him. It is also very nice to sit with the view of the market from the glass conservatory. Service was also fast and friendly.

After a rainy day in Sneek, we ended up at Onder De Linden - and we loved it! My wife had the zucchini, I had the salmon - both dishes elegant and delicious. The staff are kind and helpful. All in all, a restaurant we’d happily return to.

We had a great party here. We didn't eat here, so I can't judge, but the snacks that were on the tables and served were fine: cheese, olives, shrimps, sausage, something with salmon, bitterballen, tortilla chips with dip and the like. The party was on the first floor, with a view of the square and a balcony, nice for smokers. Too bad there were no sanitary facilities upstairs. Oh and the floor does move when you dance🫣🤣. I do not know how much the host and hostess paid per person.

A few weeks ago my sister and I took my beppe for a birthday lunch at your restaurant. During our meal, one of your employees accidentally spilled a drink on my newly installed blazer, causing significant damage. The initial response from your staff was to suggest putting my blazer in the washing machine, which is unsuitable for a high-end blazer. After I pointed this out, it was suggested that I take my blazer to the dry cleaners. Unfortunately, even after a visit to the dry cleaner a day later, it turned out that the damage could not be repaired. This was extremely disappointing and negatively affected our lunch experience. Another unfortunate aspect is that we had to pay the full bill, despite the damage caused by your employee. I brought this matter to your attention via email, and your response was that there is nothing you can do other than reimburse the dry cleaning costs. I must honestly say that I find this extremely disappointing. The fact that my expensive blazer was damaged beyond repair as a result of your employee's error is a matter that must be taken seriously. I hope you understand that this experience does not seem customer friendly or hospitable to us at all. It is my wish that you address this matter in an appropriate manner.
