Small shop where you can also grab a quick bite to eat on the spot (Note: max. 3 to 4 seats at a counter). The sandwiches are fine, but not so special that I would go out of my way for them. A banner hangs on the facade stating that all sandwiches cost €4.50. Once inside, the prices are slightly higher. So you do have to ask about the special offers.

Received ice-cold bami and nasi. It took 1.45 hours before it was delivered.

This is the kind of place where the man stands there rummaging through your food in "hygienic" gloves, but just as happily takes it out the trash, collects the payment, and takes it to the toilet. Microwaved barra is never a good idea.

You can only pay in cash. So if you come to get a sandwich and you can only pay by card, you just get turned away. Ridiculous and a real shame, you might say. I understand that you want to avoid taxes, but if you turn customers away, you end up with absolutely nothing. Strange state of affairs.

First of all, while ordering, the boy taking our order was distracted by people talking to him. Because of this, we already doubted whether our order had gone through correctly. I wanted a large vegetarian roti without egg and extra tempeh. My boyfriend wanted nasi with egg. Next, we couldn't pay by card at first, but later we were able to. Before we left with our food, I checked to see if they had managed to give us the right things. Unfortunately, my suspicion was correct and the order hadn't gone through properly. It was left as it was. My boyfriend's nasi had no egg. This is of course forgivable, but we couldn't find the extra tempeh either. Additionally—and this was the most annoying part—the food consisted of a mixture of vegetable mush with, above all, A LOT of oil. Even after draining my roti, it was impossible to get rid of because everything was soaked in it. I eventually took a few bites and only ate the roti plate. The rest is outside with the trash. What a waste! And certainly for this rather high price. We had hoped for a tasty meal, but it was a huge disappointment. And yes, we eat roti often, but this was the first and last time we got it here.

Ordered food at 6:30 PM. Called and waited on hold for 40 minutes. It was finally delivered cold at 9:10 PM. In the meantime, we had already cooked dinner. Never again.

I like Aarti 2 Roti's prompt and excellent delivery service. The quality and presentation of the meal has declined over the years. The taste is not exciting; the meat is really tough, the veggies are overdone, and the potatoes are sloppy. What a shame!

When you order, you get almost no meat in your sandwich, and it's barely warm. The women who work there can't work and are more focused on themselves than on the order. The food itself tastes good; there are better places where you get more bang for your buck.

After an hour and a half of delay, the delivery driver delivered the food cold, and he immediately apologized. I called the restaurant, but they deliberately didn't answer. The order was also incomplete. I wouldn't recommend this place at all.

The attached photo is of a roti vegetarian mix which, including one roti plate, cost us 20 euros. I cannot emphasize enough how unacceptable this amount of food for that much money is. They're arrogant, think people shouldn't order from far away, and then consider it normal to lie on the phone that the food is on its way. They also only accept cash in the store itself, which is not kosher in my opinion.

The “low reviews” are only from people who order on Thuisbezorgd / Uber Eats, and the bad rating has nothing to do with the food quality, only delivery times. Ordered 2 roti chicken, 1 noodles and a saoto soup with 2 water and two ginger beer €72,- Pricey and poor quality! Never going to get takeout again.

We ordered via Uber. Apparently the wrong order was given to the delivery person, something that can happen. Then we called and they told us it was coming. The restaurant contacted Uber as they felt it was Uber's fault. Called after an hour of waiting and the restaurant refused to help, because Uber had to solve it. Since Uber did not respond, we did not receive our food. After 2 hours we went to get the food ourselves (called in advance). When we picked them up they were very defensive and couldn't apologize. The noodles mix ended up being very tasty. Roti quite bland. Making a mistake can happen, but don't blame the problem on the customer.

All bad reviews are from people who ordered delivery. Just eat it there or pick it up. The food is consistently delicious and lots of variety. Great value for money.

Popular deception! I paid €6 per sandwich on the website and a 10% discount because I ordered on the website, but when I picked it up myself in the store, the sandwiches turned out to cost €3.50 in the store (!). "yes we have to pay commission on the website."

I ordered through Thuisbezorgd, and my delivery took an unbelievable 3 hours and 45 minutes. The restaurant's phone number was invalid, and Thuisbezorgd didn’t respond to my inquiries. After paying €45 and still not receiving my food, I cycled from East to West Amsterdam in the rain to the restaurant. The staff were unhelpful, couldn’t contact the driver, and offered no reassurance or compensation. To make matters worse, the app falsely marked the order as delivered. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing, with poor communication and zero customer care. Avoid this place.
