Yesterday afternoon, my niece and I had high tea. The service was lovely, with a good balance of savory and sweet, and a delicious soup to start. Our reservation was actually for 2.5 hours, but the staff let us sit an hour longer, but then asked if we wanted to leave. Every table in the restaurant was reserved, and this time of year, many businesses book dinners to celebrate the end of the year. If all the tables hadn't been reserved, we would have been allowed to stay.😊 Great place, and it's no wonder we love coming here. We'll definitely be back next year! Merry Christmas 🌲

Played 18 holes of footgolf at Abel's on Sunday and then had lunch at Tasman's. The service was poor, and it's a footgolf thing. We had to share balls because there apparently weren't enough, which I find truly bizarre. We had to bring the first two balls we heard back to the tee box so the last ones could play. Bizarre, inappropriate, and poorly organized. It makes it much less enjoyable. The lunch afterward was fine, with good service. We come here at least once a year, but in the past ten years, we've never experienced this before. Maybe we'll try a different course next time! We've since received a voucher, which we'll definitely use. Glad the error has been corrected!

It was a really nice place to see. We were sitting in the conservatory, but it was terribly cold there, which was a real shame. Everyone who came was freezing, and many people changed tables to sit by the fireplaces and haters. I don't quite understand why it wasn't heated up before people arrived.

A nice spot, especially for the summer. It was quite noisy inside, but luckily we were able to sit in the conservatory where it was quieter. The food was good and tasty. The prices were high. The children's toasted sandwich for €9.50, which came with a small sachet of ketchup, was a bit disappointing. The price is not surprising considering the location, but a toasted sandwich for €9.50... well, that's a bit of a miss. It's a shame, because otherwise it was a pleasant experience.

Had a wonderful breakfast with my wife on a Sunday morning. Highly recommended. The staff is attentive, friendly, and the food is fresh and beautifully presented. We will definitely do this again.

Delicious food and fast service

We're a cycling club, and we always take a coffee break during our rides. We called a few days in advance to ask if this was possible, and we were told we were welcome. We'd just arrived, but a stern waitress saw our bananas and immediately told us we couldn't eat them inside. I replied, "We're a cycling club," and she replied, "We're a restaurant." When ordering, she immediately asked if we could pay for two tables together, but that wasn't possible. We then asked if we could pay separately, which wasn't possible either. In the end, one person had to pay for everything, a bill of €263, and that person was left to fend for themselves for themselves, even if they were about 25 people. How customer-friendly can you be? And I haven't even mentioned the prices. I've never paid such prices, and received such poor service.

Not really a place to return to, the service could be much friendlier, then you at least feel welcome as a customer.

A new menu had just launched that day. Tuna as a starter, and the Pieterman fillet as a main course. A good choice for us...a beautiful combination of flavors.

The service is super friendly. It took a while for the food to arrive. The seats at the long table are a bit drafty. We found it a bit pricey, for example, €6.25 for a glass of bock beer.

We were looking forward to a pleasant breakfast, but unfortunately, it was disappointing. Despite it being quiet, we had to wait at least 45 minutes for our food to be served. The "Abel breakfast special" was disappointing: the Eggs Florentine consisted of a single small egg with a small amount of sauce on a slice of bread. The "oats with fresh fruit" was also incorrect; there was only some jam. My daughter wanted fresh fruit for breakfast (because she wasn't feeling well), but unfortunately, it wasn't available.

On October 9, 2025, we were guests at this beautiful venue. What a fantastic place. Very hospitable and incredibly helpful, and there was a great atmosphere. The bride and groom got married in the dome. Fantastic! Nothing was too much trouble. Everyone was taken into account. The food was delicious.

Very customer-focused approach and excellent food and drinks (also sustainable) at the team meeting I led here.

The sound is quite intense inside. Perhaps try something with acoustic panels. A latte or cappuccino should also be hot. Make them like you always do and check what you're serving. The rest of the afternoon was fantastic 👌

The food was delicious, but the music was very loud. It didn't really fit the restaurant's atmosphere and was quite monotonous.

Beautiful location and enjoyed several enjoyable lunches, but dinner wasn't something I'd repeat. The food was very mediocre, especially for the prices. The wait time was too long considering it wasn't busy, and the service was inattentive.

After adventure golf, we wanted a drink. No one came to us at first, so we walked over to the staff ourselves. They told us that side of the terrace was closing and that we had to sit on the other side. That wasn't a problem. A woman said she'd take our order right away, but we had to wait again. Finally, still no one showed up. The staff apparently prioritized cleaning the tables over helping us. So, after two hours of golf, we left. Such a shame! Plenty of staff were passing by. The woman even smiled afterward!

You're greeted politely and shown to your table. The staff is very friendly and regularly checks on your food and drinks. I did find it a shame that there wasn't a parasol you could put up if you wanted to sit in the shade. It was partly cloudy and partly sunny, but still very warm. Because of this, I didn't stay longer. Otherwise, it was excellent.

A lovely restaurant with a large terrace overlooking a tree-lined golf course. The service was efficient and friendly. They were kind enough to offer a better table during busy times and to open the awning. The 12-hour meat special was delicious. Sundays can be especially busy, so reserving a table is recommended.

Beautifully situated, but the restaurant gives a strange impression. It seems to want to be "chic/upper class," but feels a bit like a beach club. The service also gives the same impression; the staff is smartly dressed but feels very stiff. The menu is limited and follows the same problem: it tries to be something it simply isn't. The prices are also unfortunately not in line with the offerings.

A very disappointing experience, not to be repeated. What a terrible restaurant. After waiting over an hour for a simple chicken satay, we finally received a plate that was utterly unappetizing. The chicken had a rotten color and looked like it had been thrown straight from the freezer onto the grill – anything but fresh. I didn't even eat it. When I complained, they tried to offer me something else, but my appetite had completely vanished. To make matters worse, we were charged full price at checkout, without any compensation. Absolutely not recommended. Poor service, bad food, and no sense of customer service whatsoever. We will never return.

The location is beautiful, spacious, and easily accessible. However, it lacks motivated, efficient staff, which unfortunately seems to be becoming increasingly common these days. After our first order, a simple drink, it took quite a while before we were served. When the young man came to take our order, there was a considerable delay between ordering and serving what seemed to us a simple dish. We both opted for the beef croquettes with bread. Unfortunately, they weren't beef as described on the menu, but a kind of ragout with some lamb pieces. The service was very chaotic and took a very long time, with drinks being served to the wrong table, and the usual dropping of glasses (which, of course, can always happen). All in all, a somewhat chaotic afternoon, which we concluded with a delicious ice cream next to the restaurant.

A rather posh atmosphere, which comes across as cold, reserved, and distant! And clumsy, rude staff, except for one older, friendly woman. I ask for the goat cheese salad and specify that I don't want brioche, because I want white starch and a brown one, and a one-euro extra is added to the bill! Is that how you earn your living? I barely swallowed my last bite when my plate is snatched away from under my nose, asking if I enjoyed it, without waiting for my answer🙄🙃🙈 And a table away, the completely overflowing tray slides right down a customer's neck🫣😱 And then the place filled up so much with customers that we quickly left the commotion.

We had a family celebration with dinner. The staff was friendly, the location is great, but the food was mediocre.

For our grandmother's 85th birthday, we visited this restaurant with a large group. Unfortunately, the visit was anything but smooth. Although we had agreed on a group menu in advance via the restaurant's website and by telephone, nothing was known about this upon arrival. The staff seemed hesitant and inexperienced, and we had to repeatedly take the initiative to find a solution ourselves. Initially, it was indicated that a menu was not possible, while we had received different information in advance via their own website. Instead of taking responsibility, an error in their own chatbot was cited as an excuse. After the staff had consulted with their manager, it turned out to be possible to order the menu after all. Then there was confusion about the price of the menu, now that a higher price was charged than the prices on the website. There was even negotiation about the price at our birthday grandmother's table, which we found very inappropriate and unprofessional. The communication was substandard throughout the evening: no one asked if everything was to our liking, and apologies for the way things went were never made. The quality of the food did not justify the high price. Although the tuna tataki was tasty, the meat was overcooked and the desserts were overly sweet and not very creative. Combined with the poor service, this was unfortunately not a pleasant experience.

I arrived at four in the afternoon, alone. I ordered carrot soup and then pasta with pesto and chicken, salad and coca cola zero...and then shock...it cost me 43.70 Euros! For this money I would have expected much, much, much more than I got and not only in quantity, but especially in quality.

Went here for drinks with friends in the evening, the sangria was delicious. Then we wanted to order the cake stand and we got the comment: the kitchen will be happy with that, because it is probably too complicated to set up such a shelf. Don't put it on the menu I think? Then we do get it but the bottom shelf is full of sliced ​​sandwiches, the 2nd shelf with bittergarnituur which doesn't seem difficult to me, the top shelf with olives and ham. For all this, €40 is also very expensive. We also didn't get any skewers, cutlery or tissues. We just asked for tissues. Then we wanted to order dessert which we had already asked if that was possible, this might be possible. We wanted a cake, then we were not allowed to order this anymore and when paying we saw the cakes in the display case. We also had to continuously raise our hands even though we don't like doing that, this really had to be done otherwise you wouldn't be helped.

Abel has a great atmosphere. I have some food allergies and at first couldn't really find anything on the menu that I could have. But despite it being very busy, the staff took the time to discuss this and check with the kitchen. They adjusted one of the salads and I had a lovely meal. The other people at my table were happy with their food too. Can definitely recommend this restaurant!

The fries and sauces only came after the main course was finished. Fish to share without sauces. Entrecote ti share was overcooked. Had a free dessert but that doesn't change the fact that it was bad. Location is fine but the prices are not in proportion to what you get.
