A lovely place to be, atmospheric and cozy; however, we had to wait quite a long time before we could order our food. Otherwise, nothing to complain about, lovely people.

We celebrated our wedding at Tasman with great satisfaction. From the first contact right up until now, we are extremely happy and satisfied with how everything went. The communication with Sigrid and Naomi was excellent. The quote was quick and clear. They offered us flexibility, and we also really appreciated having so many vegetarian options! And then the day itself. The styling and decor were top-notch. The food was excellent, and the drinks flowed freely. The team made it complete. Friendly, caring, helpful—all lovely guys and girls. We enjoyed it immensely and would love to return to Tasman for a future occasion.

I had a business lunch here; the atmosphere is great, although it was raining outside, while the atmosphere inside was warm. However, the food was not good. I had a tuna and cheese sandwich from the oven. To me, the tuna came straight from a can onto the bread, making it quite dry. Cheese was placed on top and fried with some onion. On top of that was a lot of arugula and quite a few white streaks, which, upon tasting, turned out to be crème fraîche or sour cream. My dining companion's fried egg sandwich was also strangely round and shiny; it absolutely did not look freshly cooked. Finally, the "fresh orange juice" was not fresh and, in my opinion, came from a carton. In short, the quality is not what you would expect in such a nice lunchroom. Hopefully, the quality will improve and something will be done with the feedback.

We had our company barbecue here. Everything was very well taken care of. Good food, very pleasant and attentive service, and a very cozy atmosphere. It was our first time here, but certainly not the last. Everyone agreed on that.

Nice location and friendly staff. However, the food (loaded burger) is of mediocre quality. The burger was dry. The white wine was lukewarm. You are actually supposed to send the food back, but then you have to wait again. Although the waiting time wasn't too bad, especially considering how busy it was. I would advise the owner to invest in better equipment with more capacity. No, it is excellent for eating an ice cream and having a drink on the terrace, but we will be skipping the food from now on.

We had a good and enjoyable meal with all eleven of us. The noise level inside was quite intense due to a boisterous group. That is why we asked for a spot outside. That was arranged perfectly right away. It was nice for the children, as they could entertain themselves well once they were finished eating. The noise level inside was high, but outside was fine.

On a sunny Saturday afternoon, I enjoyed a delicious lunch with my family. We had a spot on the terrace (in the shade) that borders the playground. The kids' menu was a hit with my two 3-year-olds, and the ice creams from the ice cream parlor were delicious too!

Didn't order anything. All tables were reserved and there were another 10 tables stacked on top. We indicated beforehand that we were only coming for a cup of coffee with something to eat. The gentleman was too lazy to add an extra table. Appalling!! People do come to bring in revenue! Next time we'll cycle right past.

Grabbed a quick bite after pitch & put. Stored tower of snacks was tasty and served quickly. Various dishes, all well-seasoned... sea bream highly recommended... Friendly, attentive staff.

Unexpectedly grabbed a bite to eat with 3 people. 1x Tasman Burger, which was fine; 1x spare ribs, which was tasty; the salad served with it is good; fries were okay. Ordered extra truffle fries with cheese shavings; these were cold with very little truffle sauce. €5.50, really too expensive🥴. What was really mediocre: ordered chicken satay once with the peanut sauce served separately; what a joke: 2 mini satay skewers with 4 small chicken pieces, some prawn crackers, and a small bowl of satay sauce for €21.00; really disproportionate when you saw the rest of the plates. The manager indicated that the price-quality ratio was really right: really seriously??? I returned it and ordered a hamburger, which arrived quickly. The girl who served our table was very nice, the atmosphere was cozy, plenty of parking, but it's a shame a manager who doesn't get it; if you eat here, don't order chicken satay, the price/quantity ratio is not okay.

The food was very minimalist. The sweet potato main course consisted of 2 small square pieces with hardly any garnish, and that was the main course filling. The menu stated it came with fries and salad, but this was not served at lunchtime and had to be ordered separately, and that for €19.95. Scandalous, how dare they present it like this.

Christmas dinner with the family. The starter was okay, but the main course, chicken satay, didn't have any peanut sauce. Even fatty chicken can still taste dry. The kibbeling was okay, but the overcooked spare ribs were a huge disappointment; the meat tasted like nothing. And finally, we paid €59 per person for two children under 6 who didn't even eat a bite.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ At Abel Tasman, it is always a delight! You can enjoy delicious food and drinks there, and inside there is a warm, cozy atmosphere where you immediately feel welcome. In the summer, the terrace is a real treat: surrounded by greenery, relaxed, and atmospheric. 🌿☀️ The staff really makes the difference here — friendly, attentive, and always up for a chat. They simply do it very well. Also nice: plenty of free parking. In short: highly recommended; we always love coming back here!

Very cozy and entertainment for children both indoors and outdoors.

Nice place in Poortugaal, easy and free parking. The service was very businesslike (it was very busy) and the food was good. It is a bit on the pricey side, though, but that is the case everywhere: high prices and small portions.

The food was fine, there is room for large groups, and there is a playground for the kids.

Went for lunch today, 2 fried eggs and a kids' pancake. The edges of the pancake were bizarrely hard; I couldn't cut them, and there was even a piece in there that I could have used to smash his head in. The fried eggs had a very weird shiny coating, and I have never had such overcooked yolks; they were so dry they just got stuck in your throat. We got the impression that both the pancake and the fried eggs had been made in advance and just warmed up in the oven. A friendly waitress asked if everything was to our liking, so we honestly indicated that this really wasn't acceptable. She politely asked if we wanted new pancakes/fried eggs, but we also had to pick up my daughter from school, so we simply didn't have the time for it. My mother ordered another drink, which she got for free, and we were given 1 token for an ice cream (even though there were three of us...). Too bad for the kids, because they can play outside nicely, but no more Tasman for us, because all 3 dishes we had were just really bad. The staff was friendly, mind you, but you come for the food, don't you? Responding to owner's comment: Wow, what a reaction! It actually does me credit that I didn't just post it here but also reported it politely on the spot. Apparently, only perfect reviews are allowed to be posted, and not the truth when things turn out to be disappointing. In my opinion, I phrased it very politely, mentioned what you were doing at that moment, and even indicated that the staff was friendly. I hope you feel better about your response, which is most certainly not professional. Have a nice day!

I often stop by for a scoop of ice cream. This time, you could really taste that it was made fresh. The Malaga ice cream was super tasty with a lovely texture and whipped cream, yum yum.

Cozy place. Had a tasty meal. We sat in the conservatory first with 7 people, and the little ones (4-6 years old) played in the basement and also ran around outside on the grass. Later the sun came out, so we all had a milkshake on the terrace. Parked the car nearby. Everything is convenient.

It was very tasty and good; it's nice that you can ask for more fries and salad when it runs out. It's also nice that you can just order a scoop of ice cream linked to the table number/bill. Very good service in that regard.

One portion of fries and one portion of salad for three people is really too little, and if you order for one person, you also get one portion of fries and one portion of salad; how absurd can it be? The schnitzel was so thin that you couldn't taste the meat. The atmosphere is good, and so is the service. But I wouldn't go there for the food. I understand that the standing costs are high, but surely this shouldn't be at the expense of the food.

Nice place, food was served nicely, however the taste was severely substandard. The Parmesan truffle fries were made far too salty, sweet fries seemed to have been re-fried multiple times until they were burnt... it was no longer enjoyable. Chicken pesto had only a few pieces of chicken. I might come back sometime to enjoy the surroundings with a cup of coffee, but I won't be coming back here for the food. A waste of my money. Another important point: you cannot pay cash there.

Nice place and friendly staff, but for our group package of €75 pp, the selection was really too meager. We only had 1 bar snack per person and 1 rather small pancake per person. With a whole day of playing outside, that was really not enough, and we left the place hungry. It's hard to understand, because you would think the purchasing costs for pancakes and snacks aren't that high? You could also put baguettes with herb butter on the table if the bar snacks are too expensive? After this day, we went home to get a döner kebab; what a waste.

Tasman in Rhoon is a beautiful location. Unfortunately, the Duvel is served in a glass of a different brand. The Aperol Spritz, priced at €9.50, is more ice cubes than drink. The reheated spareribs were no warmer than 35°C, and the Entrecotes were well-done instead of medium/rare. The free drinks, intended as compensation, turned out to be for the failed dishes only, rather than the entire table. After all, it is unpleasant for any diner when dishes have to be sent back to the kitchen. However, Tasman, this must and can be done better!

My husband and I went to this restaurant today. He ordered the entrecote, I ordered the duck, and mine was undercooked. Even after they brought me the cooked duck, I didn't like the taste. Duck should be stewed; it's the long cooking that makes it tasty, and the meat is tender, and there was very little spices, salt, and pepper. My husband said his entrecote was not salty at all. For the quality of food, I think the prices at this place are too high. The fries were okay, the cheese sticks were okay too - but it's hard to screw that up. I understand that you can get appetizers and drinks at this place, but the main courses are pointless; it's a waste of money. On the positive side, I can say that the waiters are very nice, and that there's a playground outside, which is convenient for families with children - you can dine while watching the kids play. The interior is nice, and there's parking. But to be honest, I have no desire to visit again.

We had the Tasman Tree, very tasty and nice, but missed some bread, so we ordered some ourselves. Maybe it's an idea to include some bread with it.

A cozy restaurant where we go quite often. Good service and good food. I would just appreciate it if they asked for my loyalty app when paying the bill. Of course, I have to remember to do it myself, but a reminder would be nice.

Friendly and prompt service! Unfortunately, the food was not of the same standard. The quality and cooking of the food were good. They know how to cook well there. But unfortunately, the dishes were significantly out of balance. Really half a packet of grated cheese on the carpaccio, capers but not a single pine nut, duck drowned in overpowering teriyaki sauce, the sweet potato that was on the menu but ultimately didn't end up on your plate, meaning you only got meat with vegetables (and later a separate bowl of sweet potato cooked to a pulp after the plate was already empty because the wait staff had arranged this), crème brûlée on the menu that turned out to be a cheesecake in reality. Sounds like minor details, but they had a big effect on the taste on your plate, and the menu consists mostly of well-known classics, with little new. When asked if it tasted good, I gave an honest answer every time, and at the end of the evening, I didn't have to pay for the cappuccino. As mentioned, good service! I also just left a decent tip, which more than compensated for the lost cappuccino sales. A nice restaurant to go to for good service, provided you don't mind that the food and other aspects don't match what is advertised on the menu and website. However, we came primarily for the overall experience, including the tasty food, and will therefore make a reservation elsewhere next time.

What a fantastic place! After a walk in the wetlands, we had a lovely lunch here with a delicious glass of wine. The place is beautifully decorated. And the staff are very friendly. The food is delicious too! The wine tasted good as well; it was a shame we were driving and had to limit ourselves to just one. 😉 We were both with our dogs, and they were well taken care of as well.

Very much appreciated. We asked for white bread with croquettes and it was corn bread. I asked for brown bread with a fried egg and also got corn bread and the eggs were extremely dry.

Not an extensive menu, but there's something for everyone. The portions are so generous that a starter is practically unnecessary. Children can have a blast in the play cellar. The fresh ice cream is practically a must-try to finish off the meal.

We dined with you yesterday for our anniversary. Despite the snow, you were open, so it was very quiet. The service was excellent again, and the surprise dessert was very thoughtful! We had a wonderful time!

It's such a lovely spot on the patio in the summer! But we went out for dinner here with our family on Sunday, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I ordered a Peking bento box and was presented with a children's menu when the food was served, which (according to the staff) I should have indicated that, as an adult, I wanted the adult bento box. Luckily, they apologized, and my dish was prepared promptly. Then the Peking bento box arrived: - 1 mini container of dry rice - 1 mini container of dried cucumbers - 1 mini container of tough fried mushrooms - 5 mini slices of dough stuck together All the food was unprepared, no seasoning, no flavor, dry... That something like this was served to us is truly questionable. It seems like sheer laziness and disinterest. We did mention it to the staff and received an apology, but we wonder if the owner is aware of these practices. Spoke to a number of people within my circle of acquaintances and had similar experiences with Tasman.

An early dinner before a show at Ahoy. A lovely, warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of room for our wheelchair-bound daughter. There's a disabled toilet and, of course, delicious food.

We had another delicious meal from the new menu, super nice friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a bite to eat and a drink here after a disappointing Gnome Trail with a toddler. The second gnome had been felled by wood rot, so we immediately lost track. The route is also incorrect at the end. Since we bought the route at the restaurant, I think they're partly responsible for the route.

A new location for us, where atmosphere, conviviality, and informality reign supreme. We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent! Definitely a reason to come back again!

The food itself was good, except for the steak, which was ordered medium but served rare. It tasted good, though. We also missed a napkin with dessert. Otherwise, it was a nice addition.

We got married at Tasman on October 16, 2025. We had the ceremony, reception, and party here, and they provided fantastic support throughout our special day. The staff was attentive and proactive, always smiling. They were very helpful and communicated clearly with us both before and during the event. We are 100% satisfied.

On Friday, September 12th, we celebrated our wedding day at Tasman, from the ceremony to the evening celebration. The communication before the wedding was smooth and clear, and clear agreements were made so we knew exactly what to expect. We really appreciated this. We had a fantastic day with all our family and friends. It was incredibly well-organized from start to finish; you can tell the staff worked incredibly well together. We truly wanted for nothing! The food was delicious, and we could order as many extra vegetables and fries as we wanted. The service was very friendly and efficient, and despite it being busy, very fast. We will definitely be back.

We came here for a pleasant lunch with our child, but were disappointed. There wasn't a warm welcome, no high chair was offered, and the staff showed little interest. Despite the many available tables outside and under the canopy, there was little willingness to help find suitable seating. Communication felt awkward and businesslike. Ultimately, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, not a welcoming experience.

Great location, we had a wedding here. 0% wine and 0% beer available, an added bonus.

Very few options for vegans. Such a shame. In a world where we want less suffering, the menu is full of it. Hopefully, this will change someday, because the place and the people are very nice.

Super fun idea! Mamma Mia shared dining and forest cinema! We enjoyed a fun, full evening with good food and a cozy atmosphere. A small tip: perhaps put cards on the tables with the name and number of the group, so that, just like ours, tables and chairs had to be added. Clean plates between courses and collect dirty cutlery. And the band playing only theme music, in this case ABBA, would have been nicer instead of varied. One drink and a bag of popcorn or chips all-inclusive at the cinema would have been nicer, although the total price would have been €2.50 higher! It's all about the idea. But this isn't criticism, just suggestions, perhaps as feedback. We had a fantastic evening!!! 👍🙏

Good service and delicious food

Had lunch today with a group of eight. One of us made a mistake ordering. When she mentioned this during service, the young man serving took her order back and happily replaced it with another. Excellent service!

I went there for a first date. It had a really nice, atmospheric spot, and I don't regret choosing Tasman. The food was delicious, and they were happy to accommodate any requests. The hot cookie caramel dessert is highly recommended! I'll definitely go back!

Our first time here. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. There's a wide selection. We had chicken satay, a veggie burger, a tuna salad sandwich, fries, and a salad. It was excellent. We tried three different desserts, all delicious. Kudos to the chef and the very friendly service. The service wasn't too bad. We'll definitely be back soon.

From our first meeting with Sigrid, we knew Tasman was the ideal venue for our wedding celebration. The drinks and toast, followed by dinner, were perfectly arranged. And what a celebration we had that evening – in a word: AMAZING! We've received nothing but positive feedback about this fantastic venue ever since. We'd like to sincerely thank Sigrid and the entire team for their wonderful care and attention. Thanks to them, our wedding day truly became the most beautiful day of our lives.

Had lunch with the family for Grandma's birthday. We made a reservation in advance. Lunch was extensive and delicious! However, it was way too much. Luckily, we were able to take some things home. Extending the lunch package seems fun, but it actually results in far too much. Friendly and helpful staff, both beforehand and on-site. Downside: Google Street View showed a really nice play and climbing frame for kids in the basement, but it's gone. There are now game tables where you have to put money in to play, even though you're already paying to eat there. Plus, the kids playing with these are also having fun with a phone or handheld game at the table. You want something for younger children. The climbing and playing frame looked ideal. I was really looking forward to the kids being able to play there. Now we had to keep them entertained at the tables, which made quite a bit of noise for the other guests. So, in terms of child-friendliness, I was rather disappointed. Point for improvement: If someone can't have milk, that means they can't have cheese either, even though the staff indicated they could eat the cheese. (This cheese contained milk.)

Neat place with a not too big menu. Very friendly staff and free parking in front of the door. We were there with nice weather, sitting in the shade watching the people in the climbing forest. In short, a recommendation.

The 28th was our 1st comedy night, we enjoyed it. Good service by Pimgouwe guy 👍 There was a young lady walking by, because of her you would just stay away, unfriendly. Dr couldn't get a laugh out of it. But we won't stay away... We Keep Coming!!!

To be honest, we wanted to go to brother Abel, but there was a long line there. Without a doubt we were able to make a reservation at Tasman. Not that it wasn't busy - they looked between the reservations. Tasman has a nice little menu; Enjoy beer (also good non-alcoholic ones) and snacks outside in the sun. Nice staff, and delicious ice cream for dessert. Not from a package, but simply delicious. Absolutely great. There is a nice playground for the kids, also a nice play area inside, and a climbing forest outside, if you want to cut back on the snacks. what more could a person want? Maybe another beer and cheese sticks - in the sun.
