Tasman. in Wijk 03 Poortugaal-Zuid

It's such a lovely spot on the patio in the summer! But we went out for dinner here with our family on Sunday, and it wasn't a pleasant experience. I ordered a Peking bento box and was presented with a children's menu when the food was served, which (according to the staff) I should have indicated that, as an adult, I wanted the adult bento box. Luckily, they apologized, and my dish was prepared promptly. Then the Peking bento box arrived: - 1 mini container of dry rice - 1 mini container of dried cucumbers - 1 mini container of tough fried mushrooms - 5 mini slices of dough stuck together All the food was unprepared, no seasoning, no flavor, dry... That something like this was served to us is truly questionable. It seems like sheer laziness and disinterest. We did mention it to the staff and received an apology, but we wonder if the owner is aware of these practices. Spoke to a number of people within my circle of acquaintances and had similar experiences with Tasman.

An early dinner before a show at Ahoy. A lovely, warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and plenty of room for our wheelchair-bound daughter. There's a disabled toilet and, of course, delicious food.

We had another delicious meal from the new menu, super nice friendly service in a relaxed atmosphere.

We had a bite to eat and a drink here after a disappointing Gnome Trail with a toddler. The second gnome had been felled by wood rot, so we immediately lost track. The route is also incorrect at the end. Since we bought the route at the restaurant, I think they're partly responsible for the route.

A new location for us, where atmosphere, conviviality, and informality reign supreme. We had a delicious meal and the service was excellent! Definitely a reason to come back again!

The food itself was good, except for the steak, which was ordered medium but served rare. It tasted good, though. We also missed a napkin with dessert. Otherwise, it was a nice addition.

We got married at Tasman on October 16, 2025. We had the ceremony, reception, and party here, and they provided fantastic support throughout our special day. The staff was attentive and proactive, always smiling. They were very helpful and communicated clearly with us both before and during the event. We are 100% satisfied.

We had drinks, enjoyed a delicious lunch, and, as always, the service was enthusiastic :-) The selection is wide, so there's something for everyone. There's ample free parking, but there are no charging stations (for those who might find that important).

On Friday, September 12th, we celebrated our wedding day at Tasman, from the ceremony to the evening celebration. The communication before the wedding was smooth and clear, and clear agreements were made so we knew exactly what to expect. We really appreciated this. We had a fantastic day with all our family and friends. It was incredibly well-organized from start to finish; you can tell the staff worked incredibly well together. We truly wanted for nothing! The food was delicious, and we could order as many extra vegetables and fries as we wanted. The service was very friendly and efficient, and despite it being busy, very fast. We will definitely be back.

We came here for a pleasant lunch with our child, but were disappointed. There wasn't a warm welcome, no high chair was offered, and the staff showed little interest. Despite the many available tables outside and under the canopy, there was little willingness to help find suitable seating. Communication felt awkward and businesslike. Ultimately, we decided to leave. Unfortunately, not a welcoming experience.

Great location, we had a wedding here. 0% wine and 0% beer available, an added bonus.

Very few options for vegans. Such a shame. In a world where we want less suffering, the menu is full of it. Hopefully, this will change someday, because the place and the people are very nice.

Super fun idea! Mamma Mia shared dining and forest cinema! We enjoyed a fun, full evening with good food and a cozy atmosphere. A small tip: perhaps put cards on the tables with the name and number of the group, so that, just like ours, tables and chairs had to be added. Clean plates between courses and collect dirty cutlery. And the band playing only theme music, in this case ABBA, would have been nicer instead of varied. One drink and a bag of popcorn or chips all-inclusive at the cinema would have been nicer, although the total price would have been €2.50 higher! It's all about the idea. But this isn't criticism, just suggestions, perhaps as feedback. We had a fantastic evening!!! 👍🙏

Good service and delicious food

Had lunch today with a group of eight. One of us made a mistake ordering. When she mentioned this during service, the young man serving took her order back and happily replaced it with another. Excellent service!

Great for kids. Large playground next to the terrace, and adjacent to it is the climbing forest. There's also a play area for kids downstairs.

I went there for a first date. It had a really nice, atmospheric spot, and I don't regret choosing Tasman. The food was delicious, and they were happy to accommodate any requests. The hot cookie caramel dessert is highly recommended! I'll definitely go back!

Cozy terrace, friendly staff, good food.

Our first time here. The restaurant has a cozy atmosphere. There's a wide selection. We had chicken satay, a veggie burger, a tuna salad sandwich, fries, and a salad. It was excellent. We tried three different desserts, all delicious. Kudos to the chef and the very friendly service. The service wasn't too bad. We'll definitely be back soon.

From our first meeting with Sigrid, we knew Tasman was the ideal venue for our wedding celebration. The drinks and toast, followed by dinner, were perfectly arranged. And what a celebration we had that evening – in a word: AMAZING! We've received nothing but positive feedback about this fantastic venue ever since. We'd like to sincerely thank Sigrid and the entire team for their wonderful care and attention. Thanks to them, our wedding day truly became the most beautiful day of our lives.

Had lunch with the family for Grandma's birthday. We made a reservation in advance. Lunch was extensive and delicious! However, it was way too much. Luckily, we were able to take some things home. Extending the lunch package seems fun, but it actually results in far too much. Friendly and helpful staff, both beforehand and on-site. Downside: Google Street View showed a really nice play and climbing frame for kids in the basement, but it's gone. There are now game tables where you have to put money in to play, even though you're already paying to eat there. Plus, the kids playing with these are also having fun with a phone or handheld game at the table. You want something for younger children. The climbing and playing frame looked ideal. I was really looking forward to the kids being able to play there. Now we had to keep them entertained at the tables, which made quite a bit of noise for the other guests. So, in terms of child-friendliness, I was rather disappointed. Point for improvement: If someone can't have milk, that means they can't have cheese either, even though the staff indicated they could eat the cheese. (This cheese contained milk.)

Neat place with a not too big menu. Very friendly staff and free parking in front of the door. We were there with nice weather, sitting in the shade watching the people in the climbing forest. In short, a recommendation.

We chose a tasman tree, besides the fact that it looked beautiful, all the dishes were delicious! Add to that a lovely sun and excellent service and our afternoon was a great success!

Today we were served very well again by the blonde lady who has been working here for a while. By the way, they are all very sweet and helpful to Abel. Even the young lady 14/15 years old today at the ice cream shop near Tasman, so very young but very polite. great!!!

The 28th was our 1st comedy night, we enjoyed it. Good service by Pimgouwe guy 👍 There was a young lady walking by, because of her you would just stay away, unfriendly. Dr couldn't get a laugh out of it. But we won't stay away... We Keep Coming!!!

To be honest, we wanted to go to brother Abel, but there was a long line there. Without a doubt we were able to make a reservation at Tasman. Not that it wasn't busy - they looked between the reservations. Tasman has a nice little menu; Enjoy beer (also good non-alcoholic ones) and snacks outside in the sun. Nice staff, and delicious ice cream for dessert. Not from a package, but simply delicious. Absolutely great. There is a nice playground for the kids, also a nice play area inside, and a climbing forest outside, if you want to cut back on the snacks. what more could a person want? Maybe another beer and cheese sticks - in the sun.

I ordered a delicious fish, it was very tasty. Tip: give a fish knife with the cutlery when ordering fish.

A delicious snitzel with salad and fries. Dessert was also delicious. Friendly service, we were asked several times if we liked it and if we had any wishes. Cappuccino and fresh mint tea to finish, also fine. Definitely come back here.

Enjoyable meal. The sea bass was good and tasty, but the satay was mediocre. Lots of small pieces on just two skewers. A nice satay sauce. The salad and fries are delivered in small containers. I thought the containers would be per person, but they were for two people. Too little for two people. In short, too little food for this price.

Good atmosphere and friendly service. The food tasted delicious. The only downside is that you are served 1 small bowl of fries and salad for 3 people.

Terribly expensive, 1 small cup of coffee costs no less than 4 euros. It is the case for a cup of coffee In a disposable cup without sugar, milk and a cookie, that's what we had to pay for. If it was different, you would have to pay your staff extra money.

Today I wanted a coffee and hot chocolate with my son after a walk, but despite quite a few empty tables, there was no time or space for this. We also received no response to my request for 2 bottles of chocolate milk and to drink it outside. We come here often, and the food is always good, the service is sometimes a bit messy, but after today I'm done with Tasman for a while.

We had dinner here last night with 9 people. Very friendly and service minded staff. Food was delicious. 1 steak was lukewarm, asked if it could be heated additionally. I was served new steak, which was not necessary, but I thought this was very professional! We will definitely come back!

Great food for reasonable money. The restaurant was almost empty so private service, absolutely great. The only downside is the loud music, but luckily that could be turned down a bit on request.

Cozy atmosphere. Nice walking area around it. It was pleasantly busy. Staff are friendly. Because of the crowds it sometimes took a while before they came by again.

Last weekend we celebrated grandma's birthday at Tasman in Rhoon, and it was a fantastic experience! From the moment we entered, we immediately felt welcome by the warm ambiance and friendly service. The location, surrounded by beautiful nature, gave an extra festive touch to the occasion. The food was excellent. Every dish, from starter to dessert, was prepared with care and perfectly seasoned. The freshness of the ingredients and the creative presentation were particularly striking. There was something for everyone. The service was extremely attentive and ensured that everyone could eat at the same time and everything went smoothly. Tasman contributed to an unforgettable day for grandma and the whole family. We can highly recommend this place for a special occasion or just an evening of enjoying delicious food in a beautiful setting. We will definitely come back!

Christmas Dinner with the family. Starter was okay, but the main course with chicken satay without peanut sauce. And then even fatty chicken can still taste dry, the kibbeling was ok, but the overcooked spare ribs were a major disappointment, the meat tasted of nothing, and then the final score on the bill, we also paid €59 p.p. for 2 children under the age of 6 who did not have a bite.

Price-quality ratio not good. Pricey food while it is really nothing special. Carpaccio was small (almost 14eu) and tasted of nothing. Lots of sauce on it which wasn't that tasty. Main course a pasta with prawns, 5 pieces in total. Very unfortunate. Service was good

It's been a while since we've been there. The (Christmas) atmosphere was nice, we thought it was cozy. We could choose from the restaurant or the conservatory. The conservatory was nice and warm and very nicely decorated. The service was fine and received more than enough attention. The food was tasty, good and very affordable. The menu is not large, but there is something for everyone and the steak was especially prepared. Parking is available (free) in front of the door. In short, a great restaurant.

The starter, loaded kibbeling, was way too much, luckily the main course, loaded chicken satay, was much less. Both dishes tasted excellent.

It said on the internet that it was open, but unfortunately we were standing in front of a closed door so that was a shame I read this at Abel restaurant, which was closed on Monday and open on Tuesday, and then used Google Maps and it also said that the restaurant was open until 10 p.m., perhaps it can be adjusted.

There were a lot of children and we were given a table at the back of the window with the others who had also made reservations. Nice view too and the sound of the children was more of a noise. The electric heater was turned on upon request. Also handled the allergy very carefully; you almost never experience how well they did that. Excellent service too. Really great and a big 10!

In een fraaie locatie lekker gegeten. Goede en vriendelijke bediening. Eten van goede kwaliteit en goede prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Enige dingetje was dat ik zowel bij de reservering als bij bestellen allergie had doorgegeven waar dan vervolgens bij declaraties geen rekening mee werd gehouden. Maar werd uiteindelijk prima en snel opgelost. Dus gewoon vergeten dit.

We recently enjoyed a fantastic evening at Restaurant Tasman in Hoogvliet. From the moment we walked in, we immediately felt welcome by the friendly and attentive service. The menu offered a variety of delicious dishes, but what really stood out was the perfectly cooked steak and bass. The steak was tender and juicy, just the way it should be, with a flavor that leaves you wanting more. The bass was fresh and prepared in a refined way, which showed off the delicate flavor of the fish. Besides the excellent food, we were also lucky to enjoy a warm and cozy atmosphere in the restaurant. The tables were neat and there was a relaxed atmosphere that completed the dining experience. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Tasman!

We came here because Abel was 'rented' and the note on the door said that you can go to Tasman. But how disappointing this was. Ordered American pancakes but these were just flattened pancakes placed on top of each other with some fruit added, there was nothing special about this. The carpaccio sandwich was okay. But otherwise not recommended.

Beautiful tent, but since a change I will come less often. Previously it was so child and especially parent friendly. Downstairs there was a small play area where young children could burn off some energy and parents could catch up. Unfortunately this is gone 😭

Very nice restaurant, delicious food. 1 comment; the basket of bread offered at the beginning was disappointing. Instead of a nice freshly baked baguette, we got old sandwiches cut in half. And you pay €6.50 for that. A bit of a shame. But main course and dessert were delicious! Friendly service too!

A wonderfully quiet, almost homely restaurant. Friendly staff. A nice play area for the children outside or, if it rains, inside.

We received the starter at the same time as the main course. When we indicated that we wanted it separately, the right thing was done immediately. as a main course, the half chicken was very tasty and juicy. Dessert was a huge disappointment, we had the ice cream nachos to share. We expected to get nice soft waffles, but it turned out to be the dry hard version. for 9.5 euros on the pricey side.

Celebrated the wedding of our daughter and son-in-law. Cozy location, intimate homely atmosphere. Great service, delicious food, decoration of the location, food, drinks, dietary requirements, everything can be discussed with the location. Had a great day!!!

Tasman Tree My daughters and I enjoyed a Tasman Tree with wine pairing. Delicious small dishes presented in a beautiful way! This is highly recommended and can also be served with a beer or cocktail arrangement or of course soft drinks. Definitely worth a try and very enjoyable ♡

Great place to go with children and food is very nice 😋

The place is fine. Cozy and enough parking space. We had a pancake for lunch but it was really not tasty. The pancake was almost cold and the topping was nothing special. We reported it to the waiter and they "would pass it on". Full price at checkout, so a bad experience in that respect. @Tasman, I had the pancake with onion and mushrooms. As I mentioned earlier, the pancake was almost cold, so it was not tasty. The only response from the server was "I'll pass it on" and that was it.

This time limited to delicious ice cream.

I think Tasman has good food and a nice atmosphere. Friendly staff. We recently ate here a few times with 2 girls and we hung around/chatted for a long time, we never felt looked away and it was even emphasized that we could sit quietly (after closing time) when we realized that it was already empty. You don't come across that much anymore. Another time with a family dinner, I ordered different food and it was also good/delicious. Children's menu is a bit small (my child eats a lot when he likes it). Indoor and outdoor play facilities for children, my 3-year-old son had a great time downstairs, I thought it looked a bit bare, but young kids seemed to have a great time there.

What a tragedy...are you thinking of having a nice dinner with your family? You will be seated at a table in the conservatory, where a party drink is taking place outside and in the conservatory. All doors wide open and a bustle of people inside and outside. Asked for a table inside, but this was not answered, the doors were closed and the heaters were turned on. Due to the limited choice on the menu, to our surprise, snitzel was no longer available on Sunday evening at 5:30 PM. Bad thing for a restaurant with a small dinner menu. Then it turned out that the herb butter was not present either... that was the moment for us to complain to the manager. He couldn't give a decent answer to this. Not worth repeating for us!
