Ordered from Thuisbezorgd, waited 2 hours and eventually picked up the food myself and did not get my money back

Delivered an hour late, and the fries were even forgotten. You have to call to find out it's busy. I'm still waiting for the fries (1.5 hours after the estimated delivery time).

Since the new owner, the Verhage has deteriorated considerably.

Extremely poor service! I placed an order while waiting for it, and several orders were wrong! A customer was eating, and the staff kept talking about him: "THAT GUY OVER THERE, YES, THAT GUY WHO'S SITTING AND WATCHING THEM THE TIME." Come on, this isn't right! Finally, part of my order was given to another customer, which meant I had to wait longer. This can happen, but the rest of the food is getting cold! Once home, I found the wrong burger menu in my bag!!! I angrily went to the store and then they kept insisting, "This is what you ordered!" Disgraceful! The staff is far too young, inexperienced, and extremely rude!

As always, we had a delicious meal here. The staff was fast and friendly. We'll be back soon.

I'll never come here again. Tonight at 6:50 PM, I placed an order to eat in the restaurant. Nothing special, just two fries, bitterballen (Dutch meatballs), a chicken burger, a children's menu, and a drink. Around 7:20 PM, we asked where our order was. "5 minutes," they said. After about 15 minutes, we inquired again about the status, also because our 1.5-year-old had been waiting for a long time. Then they brought two fries, without sauce, along with the rest of the order. I went back to the counter to ask where the sauce and the rest of the order were, as the fries were cooling down. Shortly after, (almost) everything was brought, but the chicken burger didn't arrive. I had to go back after that because they'd forgotten it. No apology for the long wait or for something being forgotten. All in all, a very bad experience. There were other people who had already put on their coats to leave (who also waited over 40 minutes), but they found their order on the way, so they sat down again. @Verhage Rhoon, if you want people to come back, focus more on the "restaurant" area. Otherwise, you'd be better off using that area as a waiting area.

Just got food, everything was cold except for the croquette. The spring roll was really cold, I threw it away immediately. I've never had a good order before.

On Friday night, we were supposed to have spinach at home, but it was already late and my wife was too lazy to cook, so I thought: I'll go to Verhage instead. I drove to Verhage and when I arrived, there was a good atmosphere and a good parking spot. I also thought the area around Verhage looked very nice, and the service was perfect. There was a handsome young man behind the counter, and he was very helpful. We waited 6-7 minutes, and then we got our food. I ordered 5 large fries, 2 frikandel specials, 3 spring rolls, and 1 regular frikandel, so even though it was a large order, I think it was made quickly. When I got home, the food wasn't cold yet, which was also very nice, and my entire order was complete. The food itself was also truly delicious, which is why I give everything 5/5 stars.

The staff were incredibly helpful, fantastic service!! I also had a delicious meal with my family of five. It was truly fantastic here!!👍👍

And yes, a simple order, and again, no peanut sauce or frikandel special sauce upon arrival. After three incorrect orders, I went back. The cold snacks were returned. I placed the same order again, as was stated on the receipt. After another long wait, order number 22 was ready. I still remember, "Are you sure? Did you check everything?" Yes, of course, BUT upon arrival, instead of two Vietnamese spring rolls, we suddenly found two large ones. What a bunch of illiterates! Too young, too inexperienced, and this was the last time after all those takeout orders with errors! How hard can it be?

Things haven't gotten much better under the new ownership. You order online for pickup, get a time slot, and then you wait for over 20 minutes. If I'd ordered in-store, I probably would have finished sooner.

Normally, the fries here are excellent, but this time they were hard, repeatedly fried, and dark yellow. I didn't get the feeling they were fresh. This isn't what I'm used to from Verhage... I briefly considered complaining, but I did anyway, because I wanted to avoid bad reviews. The response was very nonchalant. Disinterested, and even a bit snippy. It's a shame. That's why I've written a less positive review. Purely because of the staff's attitude. Note: my son dropped his ice cream and was immediately given a new one, just before I was about to post this review.

I'm not one to complain, but I miss the previous owners every time I go there now. They always forget something. They keep you waiting. It's really gotten out of hand! Today was my last visit. I hope Verhage checks this place out soon and finds another franchisee.

Nice and friendly staff, large portion of fries and tasty snacks. You can sit there nicely and the food is even brought to you!

Got the wrong burger, seating area closed more than an hour before closing time. The new owner is clearly not the previous one. Too bad

Cozy restaurant with very friendly staff

I went there for dinner with family. I thought the food was great and the team was very friendly.

Since the new owner has been there, things have only deteriorated, wrong order after returning home. 2nd time too few snacks and today after packing the bami snack was crushed in a bag and if you say something about it they start talking to each other in their language, which is not really polite, and then a woman behind the counter with long loose hair is not really hygienic.. Same again last time.

Great place, we had a good meal here, although it is always busy on nice days, but that is part of it.

The new manager has said very offended things that are not normal

They are very slow and very mean. I do miss the old ones and they also have no respect for the younger ones and all that

Bizarrely dirty, dirty fries, very expensive for a menu and what you get for it is also very sad. Cold fries, or you ask for fries war and you get special fries (example).

Dramatic service since new ownership Verhage used to be top, orders arrived within 20 to a maximum of 35 minutes. But since the new owner arrived, it has really been a disaster. Ordered today and have already been waiting 1 hour and 30 minutes for our food. We called three times, but apparently they just don't even bother to answer. Really scandalous! This is not how you run a business. Last time we order something here!

Verhagen has improved in terms of quality in recent years. Now twice right

That's happening more and more often, ordered a frikandel mayo sandwich half an hour ago, now at home I see that it is special.....wtf man, another 5 euros.

I know Verhage at my place in The Hague. I was now in Rhoon for work and had an excellent lunch.

It's a shame about the very worn chairs in the dining area, this is really no longer possible

Nasty food! Fries seem to be fried in year-old frying fat and way too salty. Several customers complained about this. Got the wrong sandwich and if you say something about it in a nice way, they start a discussion. Never again!!

The food itself was fine, but I noticed that the empty plates and food scraps on other tables remained there for a long time. And please replace the seats as they are really badly worn.

Terrible thing! Today was my 8 year old nephew's birthday and I wanted to treat him to an ice cream with his brother and two nieces. The owner came out of nowhere and clapped her hands that we had to get out of HER business because we were too loud. I indicated that I had no idea that we were causing a nuisance. Children in groups are prohibited, she said (4 children aged 8,9,9 and 13). I said that it is strange if two nephews cannot eat ice cream with two nieces. She shouted and added that we were not raised properly. I was astonished and the children, including the birthday boy, were already standing outside in fear. I said she really couldn't do this and she said MY BUSINESS I DECIDE WHETHER YOU CAN STAY OR NOT. She literally pushed me out of the shop and said if you don't like it, go and get your whole family, I can also tell them to provide better education to children. There is clearly something wrong with this woman. I really recommend everyone to give your money to entrepreneurs who care about the business.

Ate a hamburger sandwich. Hamburger was burnt. The girl at the counter was not very motivated.

Always a nice place, but the interior has now deteriorated just as much as Barendrecht. Broken, worn out and not worth looking at, but that is probably not due to the Verhage but to the people who come there these days.

Staff (older gentleman) very condescending. And very unsympathetic. After waiting 15 minutes for fries, stew with mayo, I asked to pack it. No mayo when we arrived in the car. I go back inside. The paid mayo gave me a deep sigh. Have a nice evening sir. We got soft, oily fries. You had to look for the meat. The mayo didn't even stick to the fries. No Verhage quality. Lots of fried and spring onion. A waste of my €8.10. And annoyance

New tzatziki salad I think is delicious Varied meal salad with a fresh lettuce mix, fried chicken, feta cubes, bell pepper, marinade, tzatziki sauce, red onion and fried onions, and what I got was a full tray of fries with a slice of cucumber, a piece of tomato, some chicken pieces and a spicy sauce. So I missed the lettuce mixture, feta cubes, tzatziki sauce, red onion and fried onions.....didn't taste good, what a missed opportunity

Time to replace the interior. Broken chairs, broken sofas and it all looks a bit dingy. What a difference from a few years ago

Had a great meal here! It's just a shame, I was here with my friend, a friend and a friend of that friend of mine. All 4 of us are 12 but the service was a bit rough with us because they thought we were just going here. That friend of mine and that friend had been there before and weren't even allowed in!!

Tasty fries and snacks, we especially like the menus.

We ordered fries, stew, fries mayo and a ball sandwich here to eat in the restaurant. We waited 35 minutes for our order, then asked where it was. The response was "yes, sorry, we are doing our best, we are busy with orders". Food came after 50 minutes. Sandwich ball from the gravy😂😂, that was a bouncy ball from the microwave with a dollop of warmed up gravy. This was honestly the worst ball ever.

Nice place, friendly and you can put your car whevere you want.

het is natuurlijk fastfood. maar als het moet dan ga ik liever naar Verhage dan de Mac D. Lekkerder eten, Genoeg opties voor de vegetariërs, Aardige mensen. Soms is het er superdruk, en dan is het wat minder gezellig. Ligt meer aan de bezoeker dan dee uitbater. Laatste heeft dit al verbeterd door paar jaar geleden de zaak uit te breiden. Er is meestal wel een zitplaats.

Altijd goed zowel eten en personeel

Wij kochten hier 5 softijsjes om mee te nemen. Het verbaasde mij dat we zo weinig ijs in het hoorntje kregen. Dit was formaat kinderijsje maar die hadden we niet besteld. Volgende keer gaan we toch maar naar de McD. Jammer.

Hier vandaag voor €6,95 een patat stoofvlees genuttigd. Voor wat je ervoor krijgt, namelijk een klein bakje patat met daarover wat saus waar wat draadjes vlees tussen lijken te zitten en besprenkeld is met wat rauwkost (waarom?!), is dat het absoluut niet waard.

Het eten was erg goed maar er was wel een misverstand met het drinken wat ik had besteld, maar ik kreeg gelukkig al gelijk het juiste aangeboden met excuus. Dus zeer vriendelijk personeel en lekker eten.

Verbazingwekkend lekker eten voor een vriendelijke prijs, genoeg plek om ook binnen aan tafel je maaltijd te kunnen nuttigen.

Ik als vegan, kan geen patat en andere zaken eten bij de verhage omdat ze de patat bakken in frituur olie waar ze ook vleesproducten in bakken, voornamelijk de halalproducten. Er wordt ook gepromoot met veggie snacks maar deze worden gebakken in dezelfde frituurolie waarin ook vleesproducten gebakken worden. Er is dus sprake van kruisbesmetting. De verhage is bij mij op de hoek maar doordat zij deze keuze maken en ik of iemand binnen het gezin trek in patat heeft, moeten we 15 min omrijden om vervolgens bij een snackbar te bestellen die er wel voor kiest om patat sec te bakken in frituurolie waar patat in wordt gebakken. Jammer dat zij deze keuze maken. Nu komen we daar om alleen wat te drinken, een koffie of een thee omdat het dichtbij is en de sfeer op zich niet slecht is. Service is ook ok. Ze doen hun best en dat doet weer goed.

Semi romantisch dineren met je lief bij de snackbar. Goed verzorgde hap waar je niet de hoofdprijs voor betaalt. Je zit er lekker rustig. Kom er graag.

Druk in de zaak , medewerker die de bestelling opnam vriendelijk. Besteding snel geleverd aan tafel. Spareribs was droog bijna geen saus redelijk smaak maar geen herhaling vatbaar. Salade ook droog zonder dressing.

Proefde alleen maar zout op me burger en zat geen drinken bij et menu kraan in wc werkt maar 1 sec en dan moet je weer opnieuw drukken personeel kan niet lachen

Altijd lekker voor een snelle hap.

Als we hier wat halen, missen we altijd wat als we thuis komen. Patat is ook vaak koud en slap.

Lekker gegeten 4x steakhouse burgers menu genomen met 4 verschillende varianten en alles was perfect echt een aanrader.

Ontzettend aardige manager (en bediening!) die me geholpen heeft met de traktatie van mn oudste dochter. Vind hem altijd al erg aardig en betrokken maar nu was hij dat met de traktatie des te meer. Nogmaals super bedankt dat jullie ons er zo bij hebben geholpen, mn dochter was super blij en apetrots!

Mooie zaak met zitplaatsen (picknick tafels) buiten. Lekker naar mensen kijken terwijl je een ijsje eet.
