What lovely people! Affordable and fast service due to the ferry.

After having a nice meal at Pont Neuf Buiksloterweg in the afternoon, we visited the new restaurant in the evening. It was so nice to meet the employees again and the ice cream was delicious.

Super nice people serving delicious gelato and coffee. They also always have snacks behind the bar for your doggy friends…so now you cannot pass the spot without getting something because your dog will remember forever how nice they were to him and drags you to the counter whenever he sees the it.

Hooray Hooray! Al Ponte is open again! Now no longer with the original Italian owner, who has returned to Italy, but has been completely refreshed and taken over by Pont Neuf. Still delicious coffee in a unique place.

Enjoyed some lemon flavored ice cream while waiting for the ferry, I was surprised by the quality of the ice cream. Great job! The staff were also very friendly and attentive. 👍

For years now this tiny Cafe serves the best Italian sandwiches in town. The caprese is a definite winner. Comes with fantastic coffee. If I miss Italy I go here.

The best coffee at the best spot from The friendliest people.

Was gesloten ivm Corona. Maar blijkbaar niet meer, hoewel de laatste keren dat ik bij de pont wachten om iemand op te halen het gesloten was. Dat was de vrijdag voor pazen.

Relatively good coffee for a slap and dash transient-type cafe - slightly better than “kiosk” coffee for instance. Food is pretty great - fresh quality ingredients! Lacks in the smaller details like no kids-sized hot chocolate (also not so willing to divide the portion into two smaller cups). Often no takeaway items like lids or cup dispensers which makes it impossible to order beverages for more than 1 person. This is particularly odd since the pandemic has been dragging on for over a year now and covid or not, the cafe specifically targets travellers... Friendly staff though at times inflexible. Convenient location. If I was desperate for a coffee or a sandwich I might poke my head in the window, but generally I’d not mind or go elsewhere. No real draw card except the view and convenience. That’s definitely worth keeping it alive.

Erg goede espresso, broodjes en...de lemoncake. De eigenaresse is erg aardig. De plek is ook geweldig en ik doe het vaak aan tijdens een van mijn fietstochten. Of op doorreis of als doel om daarna weer lekker naar huis te fietsen. Ben echt fan van deze plek!

Lekkere koffie, en aardige mensen. Sfeervol koffiestalletje.

Kunnen de non relevante reviewers hier ff hun review verwijderen van 1 of 2 sterren omdat ze " op de pont wachten en geen bakkie doen" ...dat heeft niks met Caffe Italiano te maken. Ik kom gauw een cappuccino vero aandoen ! ook zonder op de pont te wachten -:)

Topplek gerund door echte authentieke Italianen. Lieve zorgzame mensen die de klanten helpen met zorg. Typische originele warme en koude Italiaanse broodjes op de kaart, zoals je alleen in Italië kunt verkrijgen. Schitterend uitzicht en top Italiaanse koffie. Een aanrader!

This place is my second home, whenever I have time I go there with my family. Best coffee in town, amazing sandwiches and amazing atmosphere. All this while watching the ships pass you by on the ij. A must go to whenever you’re in amsterdam. Also a nice peaceful escape from the busy city center!!!

Ich habe leider zu spät bemerkt, dass ich für drei Kaffee 10,90 Euro und damit viel zu viel bezahlt habe. Der Kaffee war gut, aber das ist Abzocke!

Es el eslogan y la campaña de la tienda de café, que ofreció el mejor espresso con vistas. Si necesita ver el horizonte del centro de la ciudad de Ámsterdam, debe tomar el ferry de cortesía a IJplein desde la Estación Central. Una barista italiana te espera aquí, y ella cumple con todas las expectativas que puedes tener de un barista italiano: preparando un excelente café para ti.

a really Italian croissant and coffee... And relaxing Place

Leuke, eigenzinnige, lekkere broodjes en koffie. De moeite waard om de oversteek met het pontje te maken!

Echte Italiaanse koffie met heerlijke taart en broodjes. Leuke italiaanse baristas, vooral de eigenares.

Cada vez que mi esposo está en Ámsterdam hace el viaje a este lugar. El lo ama. Tome el ferry desde la parte trasera de Centraal hasta Amsterdam Noord. El stand está en el IJPlein. El trayecto es de unos 15 minutos de ida y el ferry es gratuito.
