Espressobar Puccini in Nieuwmarkt/Lastage

This was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back!!! The sandwich was spectacular and the staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. They were able to accommodate me very easily and make some adjustments to the food. Everything arrived very quickly and was absolutely amazing!

A very nice café, food is freshly prepared right before your eyes, perhaps even the best cinnamon rolls I've ever had, the pastel de nata is incredibly delicious, the panna al tonno is simply brutally tasty, the service is super friendly, but a bit expensive, though definitely worth it, and the espresso machine coffee is yummy!

Had a salad with veggies and mozzarella with their daily soup. Absolutely delicious. One of the best salads I’ve ever had and I am a salad person. Highly recommend. Beautiful windows right on the canal.

A small shop with friendly staff! The apple pie is highly recommended, with a delicious crust and soft apples—delicious! Cappuccino is served with a small glass of water.

Table on the street facing south in the warming sunlight, great coffee, a couple of sumptuous chocolate bonbons from Puccini next door, and a friendly chat with mine host, Jack, who wrote us a short list of must-see highlights for our trip to Amsterdam. Fantastic coffee and service, I just added Espressobar Puccini to Jack's list.

The coffee is good and the waitresses are friendly. Unfortunately, we waited 30 minutes for 2 coffees and a hot chocolate! We wonder if the Dutch and those who were having lunch were served first! Too bad!

Lovely place! Service was nice and the pumpkin soup delicious, we liked the crispy bread aside. The cafe provides a cozy atmosphere. We liked it a lot.

Got the Pollo sandwich to go. FYI it’s chicken slices and not chicken breast…. For 14 euro a sandwich, it’s really not worth it. As a local, I wanted to try this out but totally regret it. I was told the sandwich was big but it was average at most. Taste was mid. Waiter was very nice though.

The coffee tasted good but the portions were too small. We also had to wait too long for one cofee and tea. Also they don't allow you to share the bill which is common in amsterdam but still annoying. They had sandwiches but it looked very bland and expensive for no reason.

A cute, modern place for breakfast & coffee. We had the scrambled eggs with toast, it was very tasty, albeit a bit on the 'basic' side for the price. Coffee was good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. Seating outdoors is nice, just a little narrow. They also sell gorgeous handmade jewelry & candles inside of the café.

It’s such a cute place, the girls working there are so kind and it’s a great place to get some breakfast. I had a croissant, orange juice and a cappuccino, everything was perfect!

We stopped by for a quick breakfast and really enjoyed it. The croissants were fresh, buttery, and flaky — just perfect. We also had some bread with ham, which was simple but delicious, made with quality ingredients. A cozy spot to start the day, with good flavors and a relaxed atmosphere.

After hopping the red eye from Atlanta, I made my way here and enjoyed the morning on the patio in the sun. I loved their espresso, had a croissant with some orange juice and felt right at home. The rest of their menu looked great and I saw several people eating, so I'll be back when I'm less jetlagged for the full experience for sure! I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to watch the world spin by.

A wonderful cafeteria, a very cozy atmosphere and with a very good quality homemade product. The service from the workers was exceptional. A totally recommendable place, we will return the next time we come to the city.

This morning, we sat at this cute cafe we ​​saw on our way for breakfast. It's small inside and has seating outside. It's such a cute cafe, there are live flowers on the tables, I love it. I preferred scrambled eggs and toast. The consistency of the egg was great. The cappuccino was also normal. They forgot our orders. But later, when they realized that they had forgotten, they did not take the money for our coffees and offered us them. This is a kindness and a plus point in my eyes. Wholeheartedly recommended.

Really delicious food here. First a caprese sandwich and my girlfriend had salmon. Very good. Afterwards a cinnamon bun, truly one of the tastiest ever. Also a nice atmosphere with lovely staff. Recommended on every level

Had never been there before, just dropped in for a cup of coffee to kill some time... I didn't regret it, at least normal coffee instead of that hipster thing with 25 types of milk... For years the place for delicious, generously topped foccacias, ditto coffee and fresh juices. Go for the homemade tuna salad or the pastrami. I was there again this week and it still tastes exactly the same as it did 10 years ago. Top. Never change a winning concept. Prices commensurate with what you get. In the warmer seasons there is also limited outdoor seating.

A cozy cafe that is great for coffee and pastries. The appeltaart is fantastic - a generous portion with large artfully-arranged slices of apples, and isn’t too sweet.

I had heard many good stories about Puccini, and they turned out to be true: delicious sandwiches and good service. The room is very small and there is no coat rack for coats, but I will definitely come back.

Sweet little coffe bar with the best chai latte I’ve ever tasted

Unfortunately, this cute place disappointed me. The little spoon and the plate under my glass were very dirty-used looking. I didn't even use the spoon because of it. Also, I got my latte in a short glass without a handle, so I had to wait for my coffee to cool down a bit because the glass was too hot to touch.

What a dramatic service. Mega rude Amsterdam. This was always a favorite place in the neighborhood but has completely lost its soul. Such a shame.

What a deception. It looked so friendly, but the service was very arrogant and impersonal.

On a nice day it’s not easy to get a table but the Chai Latte & Passionfruit Cake are amazing. The staff is nice & the place feels a bit like visiting a friends living room more than a Café.

The fact that I am testing pastrami sandwiches brought me here. In terms of friendliness and service, without a doubt 5 stars. Incredibly friendly lady at the counter. The pastrami itself was of very good quality. However, the sandwich itself was a bit dry and somewhat sparsely filled. A little more pastrami and a good sauce on the bottom of the sandwich (and perhaps a little less dry bread) would definitely be 5 stars for me ❤️

A cozy tent, beautifully situated on the corner near Waterloopplein. It was busy inside and therefore we just had bad luck with our order. It was resolved nicely by not putting our drinks on the bill. The triangle with warm goat cheese was very good!

Short: 1. Best espresso we drank in three days in Amsterdam. 2. The warm cinnamon roll was to die for! Absolutely awesome!! 3. Staff super nice and attentive. 4. Clean sanitary facilities. Compliment. 5. Location good - seating functional. 6. It wasn't expensive. 14 euros for double espresso, cinammon bun and large bottle of water. Recommendation for anyone who likes good, original cafés and delicious baked goods. The only constructive criticism: a glass of water with the double espresso would have been great.
