Always delicious coffee and muffins, but also great service! I regularly get coffee, but today I forgot my wallet (I found this out when the coffee was already being made), which turned out to be no problem at all. Got coffee and muffins and can pay next time. How wonderful is that! Thank you very much!

One of the best coffee places in Amsterdam South! Owner is super nice and friendly and makes delicious coffee. Other products such as the sandwiches are also really great!

Very nice Cafe within the university grounds. They sell quite a wide range of items like good coffee, many types of cannoli and other sweets. They are known for their pizzas and also sell delicious grilled cheese sandwiches since this week. The guy running the shop is super friendly, definitely check this place out!

Go here if you want to be YELLED at by a sad old man for mistakenly taking someone else's coffee (your colleague's btw, not a stranger's), and if you want to then receive a racist lecture about why IN HOLLAND WE DON'T TAKE SOMEONE ELSE'S COFFEE!!!

The barista guy was on a phone call chattering away with a friend and didn't even bother to hang up, he was so clearly disinterested in actually doing his job. When he finally asked if I wanted to order, he just nodded and went back to talking on the phone, making my latte one handed, and disturbing the atmosphere of the whole place rather than actually doing his job properly. To top it off, the latte was €4 and mediocre at best. Can't believe people can work with an attitude like that and not be fired already. Definitely never coming back here again. Edit: Can't believe the owner asked me to be "Grateful" the barista was kind enough to actually do his job and make me a latte. If they're closed or unable to serve me, that's fine, he should just have said they are closed and I'd have understood and went somewhere else rather than him talking on the phone over me while grumpily making me a bad latte.

One of the staff was very rude and unwelcoming. To be honest i was very sad to see that there is still people that act in such manners. (I am not going to add details, i think it is clear) Even though his colleague tried to lighten the situation, they did not apologize for his behavior. I did not make a big deal out of it, but this not how you deal with people. It's a shame.

A bit strange, but if you don't specifically indicate what size coffee you want, you'll get medium. (More expensive than small) Very smart (sly) way to make money. When I said something about it, the answer was that it was too busy to ask what size. (There was no one else in the shop, so why? Even at the much busier Coffee Company and Starbucks, it is asked. Very unfortunate. And that on the backs of students, because this Doppio is on the VU campus.

The staff is really friendly but I really do not enjoy the coffee and food, especially for the prices to me personally its not worth it.

Leuk tentje! Vriendelijk personeel. Mark met een fijne glimlach en Ernst-Jan met zijn super barista skills.. personeel maakt het verschil, om vaker hier een bakje te willen nemen ☺️

Mark de eigenaar is waarom je bij Doppio Amsterdam VU een bakkie gaat halen. Vrolijke energieke vent die niet alleen 's morgens een glimlach op je gezicht tovert met zijn heerlijke koffie maar ook zeker met zijn karakter. Ook de pizza's die hij vers afbakt in een steenoven zijn meesterlijk. Echt een aanrader!

Heerlijke koffie! Doppio Espresso Amsterdam VU is een fijn plekje om te zitten in de pauze of voor overleg. De medewerkers zijn altijd vriendelijk en gezellig; bovendien staan ze voor je klaar als je ze nodig hebt (bijv. wat extra ijsblokjes als je onverwacht iets moet koelen) echt 5 sterren waard!

Good coffee. Expensive but that's what it is. Service could be improved.
