Delicious food and incredibly friendly service. Highly recommended!

I am quite astonished. This establishment was exceptional. Each dish presented itself with such elegance and abundance. This was our inaugural dining experience in Amsterdam, and it truly established a high standard for cuisine in this city. Would you like to think Chris and the gentleman with a curly hair the fish and chips was superb I highly recommend trying this dish as well as the french fries were great with a touch of curry

We got two of the €15 Piri Piri chicken special offers and they were really quite good. Service was great, the host was friendly and helpful. A nice little spot to hit up, especially when the weather is a bit dreary like it was for us.

Amazing staff. The host at the entrance was a very friendly man, and you’re truly served with a smile. There were heaters available outside, which was very comfortable. The toilets were clean and smelled fresh.I ordered a crispy chicken burger; unfortunately it wasn’t as crispy as I expected — it was more of a chicken breast. Still, it tasted very good. But the fries… my girlfriend and I have never tasted fries like these. They are honestly the best fries we’ve ever had. I would definitely recommend this place.

Honestly, avoid this place. It's pretty, it looks very classy when you walk in, but that's all. The service is incredibly slow, almost an hour to be served even though the restaurant was empty, and the food is simple: 100% mass-produced. Everything is frozen or canned, nothing is homemade, and it costs a fortune—€150 for two adults and four children, with half of it left on the plate.

I got a 3 courses menu. Roasted mushrooms, steak with fries and salad and a cheesecake as dessert. All were awesome, tasty and carefully prepared. I am planning to return soon.

Food was horrible, and rushed they forgot us for about 1:30 hour. After we got our food 1 of the staff members was rude the other one was oke. Burger was sloppy don’t order one steak wasn’t medium even though they had 1:30 hour to prepare. Salad was disgusting and the sauce on the steak was inedible. Presentation was bad. One of the staff even told us the food wasn’t rushed, even though it clearly was.

Went in for just a desert, but the great vibe from the staff, and delicious food made a real impression! All deserts got served with icecream, whipped cream, chocolate and karamel sauce and a classic stroopwafel-crumble! Really happy to have went for a quick snack, definitely recommend!

The waiter was unfortunately very unfriendly. I asked if a cocktail without alcohol would cost the same, and I received a very curt reply. I don't understand this, since the alcohol is the most expensive part of a cocktail. Why would anyone pay €15 for water with juice? But anyway, the prices aren't my main complaint; they're the answer to my question. Once it was clear we were only ordering drinks, we were treated almost like second-class citizens, and we had to approach the waiter instead of being asked. Despite the rudeness and the fact that we only ordered drinks, we left a tip, for which we weren't even thanked!

The first waiter was unfriendly. The T-bone steak was swimming in greasy vegetables. The sauce had a strange mushroom flavor. The foil-wrapped potato had too little sour cream, and what little there was wasted on the foil. The onion rings were tasty. We didn't like the dressing on the garden salad at all; it was far too vinegary.

The cheesecake is delicious. The restaurant's location is excellent.

Warning, absolutely avoid this restaurant!! We suspect that Austrians are not welcome. The restaurant lures customers in. We waited an hour and a half for our food and were repeatedly told that the new cash register system wasn't working, even though other tables had already been served. These other guests arrived after us. We left without eating.

IM WRITING THIS WHILE IM SEATING AT RESTAURANT: we came here and its kings say so we were totally in a good mood , the staff gave us the menu and he literally came back 3 minutes after my friend was talking to his phone so i just knew he wantef meat and rice. The guy was insisting to take the order RIGHT NOW. He was so pushy and NO SMILE. AND IM GAY SO YOU KNOW WHAT IM SAYING RIGHT? FORK AND KNIFE ALSO IS DIRTY

Well , we are here in kings day and i have to say the behavior of the service is DISAPPOINTING, , anyway dont expect a nice friendly staff But seriously THE FOOD IS GOOD

Had the rib eye stake, medium rare, came out more medium to well done, it's on a bed of vegetables please be aware mushrooms is a part of this (not stated on menu) French fries have a spice (again not stated on menu). The onion rings was the best part of the meal. The beer is a good quality and reasonable priced.

Hotel with a restaurant, good food at Rembrandtplatz. Friendly service, good food, ample to generous portions. We just barely managed to finish 😃. A bit spacious inside.

Sweet potato wedges were just like baby food. Everything tasted bland. Toilets too disgusting for words.

Run away!! We came as a family, lured in by the seemingly pleasant atmosphere—what a mistake. The food was awful, and the service pathetic. They threw the dishes onto the table without cutlery, napkins, nothing. Not a glance, except when it came time to pay the exorbitant bill. It had been a long time since we'd been to such a terrible restaurant. Now we're praying we don't get sick.

Went here for dinner last night and it was a real disgrace!!! The mixed grill was dry, and the steak was tough. I told the waiter, "Okay," and he turned around and walked away. Better to walk past this place.

We had initially made a reservation for nine people. The waiters seemed to know nothing about it. We had even received confirmation the day before. Well, we did manage to get a table upstairs in the restaurant, away from the other guests. Regarding the food: The food itself was quite tasty. However, two of us only received our food after asking three times, and by which time everyone else had finished. This was a real shame. As compensation, the waiter offered a round of complimentary drinks, which was very kind. Nevertheless, we would have preferred to all eat together. Atmosphere: It wasn't particularly pleasant for us, as we had to eat upstairs next to a stack of magazines. The restroom was in the basement and reeked of urine. We wouldn't go there again.

Truly delicious ! the best tasty food in Amsterdam

We were there on Friday, January 2, at 10:30 pm. We were worried that the kitchen wouldn't be open, but even at that late hour, they fed us and we were happy. It was delicious. Thank you for a wonderful dinner. We recommend it.

We had some gluhwein here and watched our kids skate on the ice rink across the road. Perfect spot to do this! They provided blankets and have small outdoor heaters. Best gluhwein I have ever tasted. There was a sewerage problem and the inside and toilets smelled unbearable. Fortunately we were outside but they lose a star because of that.

We had dinner at this restaurant in Rembrandtplein and, unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. We ordered the barbecue buffalo chicken with roasted sweet potato and the chicken saté. The buffalo chicken was overcooked and partly burnt, while the saté became overly sweet and heavy after a few bites. We were also assured that the saté would be made with chicken breast, but it clearly wasn’t. On top of that, the fries we ordered never arrived. The place itself isn’t terrible, but it definitely didn’t feel particularly clean. Overall, I wouldn’t go back.

Don't make the same mistake we had and walk there based on opening hours stated in Google Maps. The hours is only for hotel section not for cafe-restaurant!!! They said they opens at 10am.

My burger was frozen and unpleasant. The service was indifferent. My partner’s burrito was inedible. The side salad was, as others described, a confusing mix of corn, cabbage, lettuce and scorn.

Excellent restaurant. Very convenient location. We stumbled upon this place while walking around Amsterdam. Delicious food, large selection of dishes. Delicious authentic American steaks. Special thanks to waitress Victoria for her attentiveness, politeness, and excellent service. Thanks to Victoria, our lunch was as cozy as at home. The bartender made us personalized cocktails based on our preferences. I am pleasantly surprised, extremely grateful, and will definitely come back here again!

We found this place through Social Deal and were really pleasantly surprised! The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately creates a relaxed atmosphere. Sitting outside is wonderful thanks to the heaters, which keeps it cozy even on a chilly evening. The portions are more than generous (we couldn't even finish it 😅) and the quality is top-notch. The prices are also very reasonable for Amsterdam; a bottle of wine for €23.90 is definitely a good deal. All in all, a fantastic experience and definitely a place I'll return to even without Social Deal. Highly recommended! My only tip would be to have them play music on the terrace; otherwise, it's fantastic!

Great service before our order was taken, but dinner was disappointing. Items were missing, and while the food looked nice, it had no flavour. Staff avoided eye contact after serving, apart from when asking for payment. Generally awful all round. I can’t imagine anyone returning by choice; it seems to rely on passing trade rather than repeat customers.

We were lured into this restaurant without having a choice. Our orders weren't taken properly, and the food is really not good unless you like your meat cooked like a tire. The bill was excessive. Run away.

They put a giant plate in front of you and served us 1 slice of tomato, 1 slice of cucumber, a small steak that didn't even weigh 120 grams when the menu says 200 g... A bowl of chips bought at the supermarket... Plus a bowl of rice... plus a beer, food for 2... €91 we felt ripped off

Wonderful experiment, the food was great, and the service too, especially the young waitress who was really sweet with us even though the restaurant was full!

From the moment we sat down at the table, we just waited. The waitress came in about 10 minutes. After we placed our order, the drinks arrived in about 10 minutes, as did the caprese salad. The salad didn't look like what I ordered. Huge chopped tomato pieces. The salad wasn't served on a plate. And the forks arrived later. We never got the main courses. I was the only one who came up to us and said cancel our order, we're leaving, we were told that everything was ready. And it was no longer possible to cancel. Since we had to take the food with us, the evening was ruined. The prices are very high. There weren't even any lettuce leaves with the chicken in barbecue sauce. So if you want a bad mood, a ruined evening, and to stay hungry, then this is the place for you.

I was absolutely thrilled with my visit to this restaurant! The food was outstanding – fresh, flavorful, and prepared with love. The rib-eye steak was a particular highlight: perfectly cooked, juicy, and flavorful. The service was also extremely friendly, attentive, and courteous, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. I'll definitely be back – I highly recommend it!

It is quite cold in the restaurant

We enjoyed a relaxing dinner in the outdoor patio of the cafe. Our server was excellent & helped make our time at the cafe fun & relaxing. Our entree was good & a good value - we moved inside for dessert which was delicious & the atmosphere enjoyable. The majority of diners were locals during our visit. Check em out !

Very bad restaurant! I would not eat here. The burger was dry, overcooked and tasted like a veggie burger. I ordered a quesadilla and got two dry tacos with the guacamole and sour cream missing. Even after I asked for those extras (which were on the menu) I did not get them. When I indicated that I got a completely different dish than I ordered, the waiter said 'that it looked similar'. Not recommended!

Food is not tasty, not well made, I do not recommend going here. There were three of us dining on different dishes, we did not like it.

Un gran lugar para comer en el corazón de la ciudad después de un largo día paseando por la ciudad.

The food was horrible. My dinner was barely edible and for the price! The drinks were decent enough but also very expensive. Nicest thing was the mint when we got the bill…

We visited this bar located in a very touristy square in Amsterdam and were very disappointed. The pornstar martini was mostly sugar and absolutely not served in a cocktail glass but a water glass…. Far from the expected recipe for a cocktail of this price. When we expressed our astonishment, the waiter maintained that its composition was correct... being fans of this cocktail, we remain doubtful... at €15 a glass, it is clearly an exploitation of tourism. Avoid if you are looking for quality.

Did not have a good experience here. First, the service was great. Servers were very good and attentive. Restaurant was very modern and clean. Neatly styled. Found that part of the experience rather nice. The food was not great. I ordered the mixed seafood plate, was 33 euro. What came was five calamari rings, a tiny piece of salmon, and a bass filet that was completely full of bones. Was only a few tiny bites by the time I picked it apart. The salmon was dry, but had good flavor. Also got a large Ceasar salad with no chicken. Still charged me the with chicken price, 17 euro. With two drinks, my bill was almost 80 euro. The food was NOT worth that price. Notice many others have said the same thing in their reviews. The Old Bell next door was MUCH better.

Na het voorgerecht gaven wij aan een seintje te geven wanneer wij het hoofdgerecht zouden willen hebben en de bediening begreep dit en zou dit doorgeven aan de keuken. echter niet eens 2 min later werd het hoofdgerecht geserveerd. alsof het al klaar stond en de laatste 2 min even opgewarmd word in de magnetron. of wel hele erge slechte bediening. Ook zat er een vlieg in het eten en ging onze eetlust al naar beneden.

Servicio agradable y amable, llegamos en hora no ocupada. Recibimos nuestra orden rápidamente, como calidad esperada, el gusto era bueno, nos sentamos fuera de ambiente fresco.

We tried 5 appetizers and 2 desserts were happy with them all. The tempura appetizer is especially good. The service was quick and friendly and the atmosphere was cozy but not cramped.

Staff were useless only putting through half our order then brought out the food and left half our party waiting until we went in to ask where the food was.

Nous étions ravis Les plats sont arrivés nous n’avons même pas fini de manger l’entrée, le vin aussi alors que nous étions toujours entrain de siroter notre cocktail. Nous avions pris tous les deux un Burger viande black angus. Or visiblement c’est le nom de la vache et non la qualité de la viande. Ceci était simplement une fricandelle. Missing the basics. We came here on Sunday evening for some simple comfort food and we're left disappointed. The waiting staff were friendly and helpful but a little short staffed and probably having a tough night with food issues. Most dishes weren't right. Steak was undercooked and went back twice. Chicken skewers undercooked with some raw bits, incredibly limp sautéed vegetables and sweet potato wedges that were soggy and needed a other 20 mins in the oven. The baked potatoes were cold too. Hopefully a temporary problems this should be a decent place.

We ordered three burgers and all the buns were dry and untoasted. If we hadn't ordered extra cheese for €1.50, the mixture wouldn't even be suitable for swallowing. The topping of the burger was also bad, cold thick cucumber slices. Prices are also way too expensive for what is on offer. All in all no recommendation!

Could not supply complete order as advertised but was not willing to supply a replacement “chef’s orders “ I was advised by waiter. Ribs ordered were hard and come over an hour later half cold and hard. Poor business sense and it is likely that this will diminish due to service and food

Expensive and we got a plate of sweet potato wedges which were just a bowl of steamed sweet potatos, wet through not even crispy one bit. We complained they just shrugged their shoulders.

I have to say that the service was very friendly, a young Spanish man… whose name I have forgotten. We ordered 3 burgers with extras…. I did find it strange that he didn’t ask how we wanted them done but didn’t comment. The onion rings and fries were very nice but the burgers were… well, very well done… I have to say that we didn’t complain, as it was a friends birthday, and we took the rest home in order to make a stew, or something….

Absolutely horrible service and experience. It took 35 minutes to bring out salad dressing, in which time my salad was warm. I had to ask 3 people. 4 other couples that came after us got their food before us. The staff are not able to give you a time after waiting 40+ minutes for a burger. Nothing fancy. Talked to the manager who seemed to care even less than the staff. Waste of 63 euros. To top it off the burger was rubbery and gross. Mushrooms were good though.

The food was terrible The hamburger was not home made but a frozen one from supermarket. My daughter ordered the Caesar salad and it was not edible. I asked for the garden salad and I was brought a bowl full of corn, red cabbage and pickles with bbq sauce on it No one asked us why we didn't touch the salad. No one proposed to change the dish we didn't eat at all. Please, don't go to this restaurant It was really bad idea

Stayed at the hotel for a few days , had the superior room with double bed but got 2 single beds , rooms quite small so god help the budget options Breakfast was decent bit of an odd selection like chicken and one morning was vegetables like broccoli and carrots Didn't have time to eat out in thr evening so can't comment One thing your stung with is tourist tax which was near 80 euro for me and my wife for 3 nights

Racist comments were made towards a tinted friend of ours and he was kicked out when we asked if there was still room. I still don't know why. This is very strange!
