Quiet restaurant where you can enjoy a nice meal. The food was fresh and well prepared. It was a friend's birthday and she received a lovely cake, and the whole restaurant sang along for her, including the manager. Very thoughtful. Super sweet service. I will definitely be back.

The food was decent, nothing spectacular, but not disappointing either. I had to wait about half an hour—a bit long for a restaurant of this price. The dorado was a different story: the fish was cooked well, but the price was the highest I've ever paid for this dish. The value for money is clearly not in this establishment's favor. I wasn't pleasantly surprised—rather, I had a neutral impression, with a slight sour note from the bill.

Absolutely terrible service. Once we finished eating, we had to wait 40 minutes for the dessert menu, which never arrived. We then asked for the bill, but it didn't come either. We had to go inside to pay, and only then did the waiter look at me and show me the dessert menu... Seriously, you have to go there! The ribeye steak with garlic mushrooms was good. The food wasn't bad, but the service ruined everything. What a shame.

Everything but the steak food wise was good, the steak was so chewy it was just not worth eating. Wouldn’t come here again nor would i recommend it… for steaks anyway

We are five friends from Italy in Amsterdam for a group trip of 50 tourists. We've been dining at this place for two evenings and will be there again tomorrow. I must compliment you on the excellent food served to us every evening: delicious meat, excellent potatoes, and amazing apple pie. The staff is kind and very efficient. My special compliments go to Raul, a very young Sicilian waiter who served us last night. He was truly excellent. Our compliments to this excellent place. Agnese and friends.

We dined without a reservation. The welcome was superb, and the Sicilian woman was extremely helpful. Everything was delicious, from the meat to the vegetables to the desserts, and great value! If we have the opportunity, we'll definitely return. Recommended!

I ate here on Saturday with my boyfriend; the meat was delicious, cooked on a real charcoal BBQ. The wine recommended by our new Egyptian friend was also delicious. All in all, it was delicious food for such a good price right in the middle of Amsterdam. I will definitely be back here <3

We are currently still at Maximus, having just finished eating as two very hungry tourists! It is Sunday night and quiet but we could not have felt more welcome! Food was absolutely delicious and steak was cooked to perfection within the mixed grill we ordered. The mixed grill was exactly the right amount for us and the whole bill, including drinks will be under €80! Absolutely would recommend and come here again! Thanks Maximus! (Sorry about the empty grill pic … we were too hungry to remember to take pics before we began devouring, but an empty grill is testament to the tasty meal!)

Popped in, because our original plan had too much waiting time. We were pleasantly surprised, nice food, good service and quiet atmosphere. Meat is brought on a small grill, stays nicely warm. Definitely worth a visit.

An unbearable smell of grilled meat permeated the restaurant, and the quality of the meat was very poor. The hamburger was terrible, served with frozen fries. The beef tenderloin was served without any sides. The shrimp were served unpeeled in a bath of butter. This food is clearly not prepared by a real chef.

We had a really good time. The place welcomed us with open arms, and even though everything else nearby was closed, they cooked us delicious meat. They were attentive to our requests at the end of the meal. They even offered us liqueurs. We'll definitely be back.

The atmosphere is very quiet and welcoming, the service is above average, and they're very friendly and helpful. Despite the late hour (10:00 PM), they welcomed me and my other friends without any problems. I recommend!

Excellent food, very abundant grill, approved

Flight canceled, all restaurants closed, and at 10:00 PM, the only place that would accommodate us, 13 of us, for a meal. The girl who served us was very kind and patient even though they were almost closing. To our surprise, the meat was excellent; we had mixed grill for everyone. And last but not least, she offered us all a free amaro! A very pleasant evening. It cheered us up on a day that had started badly...

We arrived at 10 pm and they still let us have dinner. The grill was delicious and very plentiful! The service was excellent and the girl who served us was very kind! The coffee is real coffee. A positive experience, I recommend it!

Great service and delicious steaks!

Every time I come to Amsterdam, we stay at Museumplatz and make sure to stop by this steakhouse one evening. They truly make barbecue a real treat.

I walked in here spontaneously. The atmosphere was great, the staff friendly. The food was delicious. Very generous portions, and the meat was delicious, just the way it should always taste. The presentation on the mini BBQ was lovely, and it stayed warm. The wine was also delicious, and the desserts were good too.

Food was ok. Never seen a childish waiter who argued and answers back to everything. I’ve seen disrespectful waiters but this was a new level. We were the only customers, the whole restaurant was empty.

I had a delicious mixed grill, the meat was wonderfully tender. The side dishes were also good. All the staff are friendly and offer advice on your choices and help you make the best possible choice. All in all, absolutely fantastic!

The food was delicious. They brought me the chicken on their grill so I could eat it at my leisure. The service was excellent. We dropped a Coke and they replaced it for free. They were always checking to make sure we didn't need anything else, which speaks volumes for them. They have an excellent team, and the prices for the area aren't bad. The three of us ate for just under $50.

The service was very good. Very kindly people. The food was good too (I had tuna steak), you get your own personal grill on the table so you can heat up your dish again when eating the veggies or potato etc. We sat outside so can’t say anything about the ambience inside but we had a good time outside

It was a bit quiet when we passed, but then it was a Tuesday evening. Had some fantastic ribs, delicious and served on a mini charcoal grill, bigger portion than I expected as well. Yes its touristy, but having been finding nothing but €10-12 beers, it was nice to be charged a more reasonable price. The staff were friendly and attentive . Thank you.

We were just walking and looking for some place to eat, never went to a Hard Rock but something called my attention here! So happy we did it, the meal was amazing, I had meat and my wife had the chicken breast, you could see on her face how good it was! The staff super friendly, price good! Everything great!

From the put side we Neely didn't sit down. We are so glad we did. This is an amazing place to eat if you love meat. The price we reasonable as well. The service is friendly and attentive, the music adds a great vibe, and the food is outstanding. Portions are generous, and the value for the price is excellent.

Delicious food and very friendly service. The food was brought quickly on a mini BBQ with smoldering coals. Nice for the smell and atmosphere and the meat stays nice and warm. The food was well prepared and very tasty. We wanted to eat something decent in a relatively short time, because we had to go to a concert. That was easily achieved here. Definitely recommended!

Probably the best steak experience I've had so far. Great service - super friendly staff - very good quality of food. I "enjoyed" rump steaks with my grandson on two consecutive days and were thrilled every time. My grandson, who is usually quite sensitive, described everything as “just awesome”. And my daughter and wife were also thrilled with their choice. A clear recommendation for every Stwakluebhaber - thank you very much.

Everything is GREAT! The meat is exactly how we eat in Argentina! Perfectly cooked, very tasty! And on top of that the guys that served as were so nice to us! We went with our baby and they even brought a balloon for him to play. Very warm human beings. So perfect combo! We had a lovely night !

We came as two people, and since we were not very hungry, we ordered a mixed grill for one person. It was quite enough for the two of us. The meat is quite delicious. The atmosphere was relaxing and the waiters were very attentive.

The meat tastes amazing and the waiters are extremely polite and sweet. You should definitely try it. The ambiance is also very nice.

It was terrible, I've never seen anything so bad, I paid €170 for three steaks and was completely disappointed. Despite the price, the meat tasted cheap and the bad meat wasn't prepared well. Staff seemed very clueless.

We came across this place by accident. And I had the best rib eye since long time. The whole meal was just perfect, the fries, the meat, the mushrooms with garlic sauce were nicely balanced. And hot wine! Not too strong, a harmony of spices and sweet. The staff I talked to tried their best to understand our Frenglish and they were patient enough to get what we meant. Thank you, guys, for a pleasant Christmas lunch. 🤗

Steaks were okay. Appetizers too. Service not that good. But we were almost ripped off by an extra €150 on the bill. But the waiter was friendly and after 20 minutes of recalculating we paid the correct amount. Oh well. We enjoyed...a Greek salad for my wife, and a goat's cheese salad for me. In a restaurant specializing in meat, it's vice! Well, an excellent surprise, they were very good and well stocked. The efficient and patient waitresses allowed us to recharge our cell phones. Too bad they charge for glasses of water, it still seems petty....

Super tasty food and above all good service

I didn't order steak at this steakhouse. Instead, I ordered this delicious goulash soup that happened to be made very similar to my recipe. I loved it so much that I returned the following day. I got the same friendly waitress that remembered me from the previous evening and asked if I wanted to order the same meal. Wow, she remembered, impressive! I arrived early in the evening, as an American we tend eat earlier than Europeans. But it didn't take long before the restaurant began to fill up. I could see that I made the right choice that evening. Bon Appétit, I hope that you'll enjoy it as much as I did. 😋

We have been coming here for many years and it has become our tradition to eat here. Truly the very best Argentinian tenderloin available. Very friendly service, definitely recommended!!
