Very small, quaint restaurant. Very nice service, delicious food, reasonable prices. We had fillet steak and an American citizen.

Food drinks and service were all great!! Visited on Christmas eve.

Food was decent, service was great and friendly. An issue which will be rectified in time is that the posted menu outside isn't the same as the actual menu. My first taste of bitterballen. The pizzas were okay, but I would have liked them sliced. This could have been due to the waiter being alone and he was rather busy trying to do everything.

For high price you can get poor service and tasteless food. I don't recommend.

Small cozy restaurant. But it can get tight quickly. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Unfortunately, the food we chose was no longer available at 8 p.m. But overall it was very good.

Called in here for dinner. Place was fairly quiet for food - more people seemed to be having a coffee outside. Food was good though - our party had a steak, and then mainly pizza and pasta dishes and all was fine. Not too pricey. Guy serving was busy, but a friendly guy and nothing too much trouble. Recommend the spaghetti bolognese!

The chef was not professional and not kind, I had a question today and he was not kind with me.

Our experience today was simply deplorable. The server with the beard, and glasses was absolutely rude. We came in with all intentions to dine and my friends used the toilettes and after sitting and deliberating we decided against dining. When we notified that disgusting young man, he proceeded to yell and try to force us to stay. He said “why did we use the restroom and we weren’t eating” and “go in and get something to eat”. This was by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and I’d never go back. You all need to seriously reconsider that man and his horrific attitude.

Low quality food and kitchen in a basement.

Not only did they order beer, they also proved that light is dark. the dish is too salty, the meat is rubbish for 30 euros, we won’t be back

(Summertime) by far the best tasting burger I've had in Amsterdam yet. And there hasn't been any bad one's! Not one for reviews but feels like I should 🤷🏼‍♂️☺️.

We ordered a sir loin medium rare and it came medium wel without taste and chewy dont recomend i swear salt and peper is more season than what they punt on this excuse of a meal ,price was good food was mid but the vibe in this place is good ,dint recommend unless you want to have a date and mediocre food.but the cola was amazing🥰

Steak restaurant that also serves burgers, pizza and fajitas. Fillet steak and fajitas were really good. Fajitas came to the table very, very hot. Unfortunately there was a bit too much fat on the steak, but the meat was really good.

Not recommended unless you want average food from a restaurant with an identity crisis. Our ribeye steak was ordered as medium & came as medium rare; our sirloin steak was ordered well and came as medium well. Ribeye was tough, chewy, & without flavor. Baked potatoes had plenty of sour cream & were cooked right. Salad was fresh and had a wonderful dressing. If the meat was as good as the sides, the food would be awesome. Service was lackluster - no welcoming smile or feeling they were glad you came. Waitress was sullen & disinterested, even going outside to smoke a cigarette at a recently vacated table. The place is advertised outside as a steak house & had elements of a gaucho theme but the chandeliers were modern brass & there was a tiki-ish bar in the corner. The Jesus tapestry by the stairs conflicts with the cattle herding scene on the wall. Latin music videos played with scenes from Argentina in the background. Italian, Mexican, steak & burgers were on the menu. Very confusing decorating style & menu! The restaurant is right across from Central Station on a prominent corner. It feels like they rely on the location for tourists & they don’t need to worry about great food or good service. Do yourself a favor and skip this place for one of the many cafes that will be happy to have you and serve you great food.

The worst restaurant of my life. 15€ for a reheated pizza...sorry 19€ with chicken. The drinks are long. With one can you can make 7 glasses. We avoid talking about pizzas and their ingredients. Mushrooms directly on the pizza after the box. Total scam.

Ashamed! Exorbitant price for a pizza that is not good!! It's forbidden to serve this... It looks like frozen!! Poor quality meat for more than €20, served without fries (€3.5 extra)... 15cl glass drink instead of 25cl, it's a steal! The decoration will attract you but move on or run away... There is much better elsewhere

Restaurant to avoid, not a single smile during service, garlic bread that you can easily make yourself, everything is industrial. And to top it all off, when we kindly ask for a separate invoice, we are told that it is not possible... Go on your way!

We ordered chicken and I almost threw up. It wasn't nearly cooked through and had a bad smell. Just thinking about this restaurant makes me think of it. I wish I could erase all of La Gouch's memories.

I was in a rush to get something to eat with 4 other people, we went in and asked if they could serve us in about an hour. Not only was the service realy fast, but also friendly and understanding. Even the food did not dissapoint. Highly recommend and definitely a place i will come back too!

Das Essen wird ohne Liebe zu bereitet ich hatte eine 2 cm dicke Tomaten Scheibe auf meinem Burger. Dazu kommt noch das der Strunk nicht entfernt wurde. Das gleiche mit der Zwiebel. Das Fleisch war auch nicht durch. Der Preis ist somit absolut nicht gerechtfertigt

Locale piccolo lungo la strada ma accogliente, patatine fritte cotte perfettamente e non unte soprattutto, birra alla spina buona, carne buona e la cottura richiesta viene rispettata, rapporto qualità-prezzo buona.

It's hard to call this place a real Argentine steakhouse. They do serve steaks but also a lot of other mish-mash cuisines. None of them is done well sadly.

Ordered the chicken salad. It was extremely small for the price. It was like a small side salad with a little bit of grilled chicken added.

Beware.... prices on menu inside do not match prices on the menu outside.

Went there because 3 other options I wanted to go to had lines out the door. Decided for a hail Mary. Had a t bone steak. It was not terrible but definitely not 45 EUR worth. Grilled corn was okay. The staff seemed not to care a lot about service. Atmosphere, call me a boomer but pop/disco/party music isn't the best call for a steak place

Food was tasty although the carbonated sodas were quite flat. Service was acceptable, prices are good. I believe there are bathrooms on the premises but I didn't see any signs and I didn't want to bother them to ask, so we just left as soon as we finished and moved on.

Stopped here for a quick bite, ordered a pizza. It was OK. Bone of the place is a bit strange and service feels standoffish.

The place is nice and cosy. But when it comes to service and food this place fails miserably. The waiter was completely standoffish and didn't seem to want to serve customers. The food was priced way too expensively for what I received. The coca cola was warm, and the garlic bread was a roll of bread with a light slather of garlic butter on top (pictures included). The pizza was a large serving and saved the meal, it was nice but not restaurant quality, it was more like what I would make at home.

appreciated the getaway from the hustle (and cold because of the winter) of the city, service and food was pleasant.

Worst mushroom soup I've ever had ☹️- made of frozen filleted muschrooms (very thin and crusty) and there were also lumps in it. Maybe other dishes are better, I cannot comment. A plus is the location close to the Central train station and that you can charge your phone while at the table.
