Bariloche Steak & Burger in Grachtengordel-Zuid

I was terrified, first I ordered then I read the reviews. But the food was delicious 😋

I was so pleasantly surprised that I spontaneously found such a good, clean and sophisticated restaurant in the middle of the city. Service was so attentive and friendly, portions were very large, even for those who were very hungry. It tasted excellent. There were four of us and everyone was very satisfied 😃

Burger unfortunately arriving cold Hygiene not great at all and overcooked leg and discount 1st range sauce unlike the bill, very disappointed for a restaurant in Amsterdam 😔

Here is an extensive and, above all, honest review for this restaurant. When we entered the restaurant was very busy. Luckily we had already made a reservation. If we had not done that it would have taken at least an hour before we could join. (reservations are therefore smart) In this restaurant you notice that they quickly want a new table for the guests. So you quickly find yourself there and leave to make room for a new guest. That is of course good for the company financially, but it is not exactly a nice, leisurely dining experience. It's an express train. The meat is genuinely very good. Wonderfully tender and juicy. Definitely worth the money. Fries were horrible. Arrived at the table just cooked and pale. Make sure you make more time for frying the fries! Even when it's busy. Because it didn't really come to the table, which is a pity. Empanadas as a starter. Not much exciting about it. In short, if you want to eat in a hurry but want good meat, then go here. Don't forget to make a reservation because on a busy Friday evening you can wait at the door until there is a spot. Rating: 7.5

It's okay, but not recommended. Steak I make at home is even tastier. A tenderloin should be tender, this was like chewing gum. Too bad, had high expectations.

The food was decent. Not worth the price. I had short spare ribs with fries and salad. The spareribs had an okay taste, but were difficult to eat. They weren't really short and had thick bones, which didn't exactly make it easy. Unfortunately the salad was disappointing, but the fries were delicious! However, the service was excellent: friendly and helpful, which created a pleasant experience.

The reason for the 3 stars is clearly because the service. Food is ok, the steaks that comes correct are good and tender, but the big issue around some of the requests is the meat point, some order Medium-Rare and comes completely rare that we need to send back, others medium-rare comes more for medium-well side… other issue around dishes is that they miss some of starters on the order, even when noticed and ordered again, they bring the mains and after they come with that forfeited starters, that we send back because there’s no point as everyone is already on mains. Starts are ok, nachos are good, fries are good, but in this restaurant I expect Onion Rigs different from the Burguer King ones. Also around the service, not the quickest, as sometimes we need to ask the Sam drinks three times as they keep to forget about them.

We had a delicious meal here with iftar with the family. Everything was well organised, we received our food exactly on time. They even had dates and water for us :). Service was really great, friendly staff. Food was delicious, desserts too. Definitely recommended!

Food was decent, prices above average and I asked for a medium rare sirloin steak but it looked more like medium well. Desserts were also below expectations, red velvet does not taste as it should.

Horrible experience! I went there today and the food was disgusting plus they over charge you since the restaurant is in the centre. Don’t go for their stupid TikTok videos or the reviews on Google. The food took 40 minutes to arrive and we wanted to cancel but they still charged us for even leaving. Also, the staff is extremely rude specially the guy who looks Pakistani with a beard and average height.

Sin duda sobreprecio para la comida promedio que ofrecen. Elegimos este restaurante solo por la ubicación ya que teníamos prisa. No estoy seguro de si es algo común en Amsterdam, pero incluyeron la propina ya en la factura sin siquiera informarnos antes. Lamentablemente solo nos dimos cuenta después de salir del restaurante.

Fantastic steakhouse! Wonderfully tender meat, perfect carpaccio and top service. The owner is incredibly friendly and hospitable. Definitely recommended!

We had a reservation, but were asked four times whether we had made a reservation. My steak was served cold, and my coke came in a glass that smelled bad. When I politely asked for a new glass, I received an angry response. The rest of the evening we were looked at noticeably strangely by the employee. Unfortunately not a pleasant experience - certainly not recommended!

Overpriced, nothing special. Steak on grill instead of pan. You have to pay separately for everything. Not to my liking, not to be repeated.

Don’t go here! Read the bad reviews first because they are all correct with what people have to say about this restaurant. It’s clearly a TOURIST TRAP, so overpriced and was busy. The waiters were all polite and quick but the food was so nasty, so they clearly need to change the chefs or something. We ordered steak from here and asked for medium rare, it was so disgustingly cooked like it was literally all rare like the middle part of the steak was cold and completely rare which was so off putting, it was bland as well no seasoning. Especially for how much we paid it was a piss take because the food was just clapped, they charge everything separately like for sides and sauces.

My girlfriend and I had a delicious meal here on September 23 to celebrate our anniversary together. The food was really delicious. You can taste that it is really good meat and not cheap chicken. The homemade honey glaze sauce in particular tasted delicious and was unique to Bariloche. It is certainly not the cheapest restaurant, but you notice this in the quality of the food and service. The staff were all very friendly and regularly asked if everything was okay, if we wanted something to drink, etc. We didn't have to wait long for everything. I had agreed with the manager Zaiby that we came to celebrate our anniversary. When the desserts were served, special celebration music was played, employees came to sing and my girlfriend received a candle on top. Very nice. I can recommend everyone to eat here!

Best burger ever have been here 3 times now each on separate trips I am from the UK. I came across this place on my first trip to Amsterdam and I am so glad I went in it has been one of the reasons I keep flying back. I have another trip booked solo this time and will be the first place I go when landed. Service is great. Prices are reasonable.

Dit is de slechte restaurant ervaring in jaren. Het begint met slechte service. Fouten die er worden gemaakt en nog maar te zwijgen over de houding van de manager, totaal niet professioneel. Blijkbaar is het normaal om bijna op de vuist te gaan met klanten, eten over klanten te laten vallen en daarna een compensatie aan te bieden die te respectloos is voor woorden.

The employees were polite and attentive. It was the best steak restaurant I've ever been to. We ate t-bone, ribeye and lams rack. carpaccio was incredible. and we had mango cheesecake for dessert. everything was delicious. Thank you Bariloche ❤️

Good place for cosy dinner but a bit expensive

30 minutes at the table before someone comes to take the order, mediocre burger, and too overpriced for a quality that is not there.

We had Citrus Lemonade and Grilled Chicken Burger along with pepper sauce. There was no salt in the food in burger, fries and the sauce. It was very busy and so we had to wait. Also menu wasn’t updated with new prices as well.

Excellent on all counts! The service is very fast (sometimes a little too fast...) and the dishes are excellent. Special mention to the “short ribs” which are absolutely perfect! A delight from start to finish.

The Place is overpriced for the quality of the food. Staff is very friendly, but seem to cater more to the “rich/fancy” customers. Also NOT authentic Dutch, feels way more American.

Stasera avevo voglia di una braceria argentina e, trovandovi ad Amsterdam, mi metto alla ricerca. Trovo questo ristorante che prometteva bene. L’apparenza inganna però. Ristorante tipico argentino… un cazô!!! Tutti ngrì. Verrete accolti da uno sporco ngro in un ristorante in cui la puzza ha la meglio. Ordinerete su un menù molto unto delle pietanze diverse da quelle che vi troverete nel piatto. Di fatti purtroppo mia madre si è ritrovata a degustare della pessima carne di cane… Inoltre il ngro più puzzolente del locale ci ha trattati come se i ngrï fossimo noi e siamo stati obbligati a dimostrare la nostra supremazia. In conclusione abbiamo visto il conto e siamo stati costretti a ricorrere ad un bypass cardiaco. Ngri di mərda, tornate a casa!!!

The team did a fantastic job at recommending the best piece of meat. Food was perfectly prepared - meat was buttery and tasted wholesome.

Tuvimos la rejilla de cordero y costillas de ternera, que disfrutamos mucho. No es fácil conseguir costillas halal, así que es increíble toparse con el restaurante mientras caminábamos por la calle.

Today we were introduced to this Argentinian restaurant and we really enjoyed our fillet steak 300gr with pepper sauce and freshly made fries, definitely recommended.

Charged us for the water without telling us it would cost extra, charged us for the ketchup and mayonnaise that came with our fries as well??? Also the food was bland, was not worth the price, the penne al arrabiata was tasteless, burger patty had the quality of cheap grocery store bread and the burgers were overcooked. Definitely overpriced and a tourist trap, would not recommend for anyone. Save your money and go elsewhere

We recently had dinner at Barlioche Steak & Burger and we were impressed with the quality of the meat. The steaks were excellent, but the ribeye really stood out for me. After trying several options, this was hands down my favorite. The sauces really completed the dish: the chimichurri, pepper cream and mushroom sauce were all delicious and really added something special to the meal. A small point of criticism is the operation. Although it is nice that the staff is attentive, we found it somewhat intrusive that several waiters took turns asking if everything was satisfactory. The first few times it was polite and welcome, but after the fifth time it started to become a bit disturbing. All in all, highly recommended for lovers of good meat, with some room for improvement in the service.

Nice meal. Highly recommended if you want to get outside quickly. If you want to sit for more than an hour, don't. The food was on the table within 5 minutes of arriving. After half an hour you were already looked away.

Great restaurant! We had a fantastic experience at this restaurant. The location is great, with a great atmosphere and super friendly employees who immediately give a warm welcome. The service was excellent—friendly and attentive, even with our group of 8 people. The food came to the table quickly, and it was delicious! Everyone in our group enjoyed it. It is clear that a lot of attention is paid to quality and presentation here. This is definitely recommended, and we will definitely come back here again!

Hambriento - Me atrajo el pollo con glaseado de miel servido con ensalada y patatas fritas en el tablero de menú afuera y rápidamente me dieron la bienvenida. El personal era atento y amable. La comida cuando llegó (que fue rápido) era maravilloso, así como las dos bebidas tropicales de limonada. La pareja a mi lado tenía filetes, etc que parecen disfrutar mucho y escuché al camarero decir si querían los filetes un poco más cocinados - solo hágaselo saber. Pensé que era un buen servicio al cliente. En cuanto al precio para el mío - con una pequeña propina llegó a E 40.

Very clean, friendly, helpful and delicious restaurant

My friend and I both had a hamburger. They asked if we wanted extra cheese and we said no, but when we got the burgers it was over. Also I found a hair on the hamburger. When my friend wanted to say something about it, the waiter reacted angrily and wanted to get the manager, but he never came. When the bill came there was a charge of €4 for the cheese. When we said something about it, the waiter got pissed and we got a 0.10 cent discount because of the hair on my hamburger, but we had to pay for the cheese. Not worth repeating.

The food they served was delicious, but the hamburger I ordered deliberately added extra cheese that I had not asked for, cheese that they later charged me as an extra 2 euros. The funny thing is that the same thing happened to my girlfriend, and in the hamburger there was a hair but, when we went to pay there was a 10 cent discount on the extra 2 euro cheese that I never asked for on my burger knowing that the hair appeared on my girlfriend's burger on the extra cheese that she didn't ask for either, we feel that we They wanted to add 4 extra euros to scam us. The atmosphere is not Argentine at all nor are the waiters Argentine, they sell you that the restaurant is Argentine but only the name

My experience at Bariloche was nothing short of disappointing. The presentation of the food was sloppy and not appetizing. I asked for my meat medium well, but was served it almost raw. Moreover, the quality of the meat was very poor, with way too much fat in it. To make matters worse, I was given a table knife that was completely unsuitable for cutting steak. It was simply impossible to process the meat properly. When I asked for rice instead of fries, an extra €6.50 was suddenly added, without me being informed. The sauce also cost €2.50 extra, while this is normally included in the price of the steak. Finally, the restaurant didn't look particularly inviting inside; the wall panels were dirty and the ceiling didn't seem properly finished. All in all a very disappointing experience that I cannot recommend to anyone.

It's not worth the hype. Food was reasonable, desserts were the tastiest. It started already after ordering. We ordered a starter and suddenly got the main course. This was brought up and they wanted to resolve it nicely by also bringing the starter or bringing back the main course. But that's just a shame, we didn't take the starter in the end. We were eating, my friend had finished eating and she immediately took her plate away. While I was still eating? I assume they wait until the table has finished eating? It's a shame because it seems like you can't have a quiet dinner. You feel so rushed and that's a shame because you pay something for it...

Lekker vlees en daar is ook alles mee gezegd. Voor alles wat erbij hoort betaal je extra. Pepersausje uit een zakje, 2.50€, friet 5€ en een salademix van de supermarkt 5.50€ en ja zelfs voor de mayo betaal je zelfs. En dan denk je; ach joh het vlees is in ieder geval lekker. En dan krijg je de bon en dan staat er duidelijk; service not included! Like wtf, wat voor service? Met andere woorden je bent verplicht om een fooi te geven.. Leuk voor een keer, maar er zijn genoeg lekkere restaurants waar de service echt 10keer beter is!

The best halal meat in Amsterdam, but it is a shame that alcohol is served

20-25 minuten op terras gezeten en er kwam geen ober langs om een bestelling op te nemen. Wel werd de tafel naast ons opgeruimd en stonden er 4 obers met elkaar te kletsen maar niemand kwam langs. Ook niet toen we onze hand opstaken. Slechte service.

Sat on the terrace for 20-25 minutes and no waiter came by to take an order. However, the table next to us was cleared and there were 4 waiters chatting with each other but no one came by. Not even when we raised our hands. Bad service.

Deteriorated severely. I don't think they can handle the crowds because the food is no longer what it used to be. You pay a jackpot for the mix grill, but the quality... oh well. Super small burnt spare ribs and chicken fillet, fully cooked. Last time for me and I was a regular. Service is also super nice!

We recently dined here, and the experience was quite disappointing. The meat was extremely chewy, and despite ordering it medium, it arrived overcooked. After sending it back, it was returned even more chewy than before. The sides were equally unsatisfactory, with the seasoned rice and steak fries both lacking flavor and salt. To make matters worse, there was no attempt to compensate us for the poor meal. Instead, we were told that other items on the menu were better, despite having chosen the most expensive cuts – the ribeye and fillet. Overall, the meal did not meet our expectations, and the service did not make up for the subpar food.

It's all way too expensive 13.50 euros for a few nachos. To get sauce and fries with the ripeye we have to pay around 3 to 5 extra. During dinner she was already removing plates while people were still eating. They were working with 7 people with a workload of 3 and the rest you had to stare at all the time and 30% of my ripeye was fat.

The price doesn’t compare to the quality of the food. We ordered 3 ribeyes and they were almost full with fat. The expensive ribeyes didn’t contain anything on the side, no sauce nor fries. The staff removed plates and came with the food, when we were still eating the starter.
