Visited in April 2025, Very good Italian restaurant with good typical Italian dishes (cannelloni, spaghetti carbonara, lasagna, etc.) but also typical dishes for teenagers like burgers (special mention for the double black angus bacon and cheese).

Small authentic restaurant! The Gnocci Pomodoro are more than recommended, the best tomato sauce we have ever had in a restaurant. More recommended than the bigger stores!!

I ordered a margarita pizza but gave me fugues pizza, gave me large cola without information of the price, not an honest restaurant. Risotto tasted like fried rice. Not recommend.

Everything was very nice and the steak and the garlic bread were just out of this world just the music was not really matching the vibe

Excellent tomato bruschetta Entrecote and T-bone were really delicious, both the quality of the meat and how they were cooked. Also very good dessert, nice, helpful and professional waiter. Highly recommended

I love the lasagna and my husband loves the spaghetti. We eat there on every visit to Amsterdam. The owner always remembers us. We can't wait to go back.

BEWARE TOURIST SCAM!! This place clearly prioritizes scamming tourists over providing quality food and service. When we asked for normal tap water, the waiter brought bottled water without confirming. We immediately told him we did not want it and placed it aside. However, when the bill arrived, 6€ for water was added to the total. When we pointed this out, the waiter refused to remove it, claiming it "could not be edited" before payment. How is that even possible? If a wrong item had been billed, would they still force customers to pay? This is clearly dishonest and unacceptable. To make things worse, the so-called "Italian" pizza was extremely dry and not good. If you’re looking for real Italian food and honest service, go elsewhere! Definitely not worth the money.

What is a Roman doing in Amsterdam...!? Bake a pizza that tastes pretty crazy🍕😍😋😍🥳 Our quattro Formaggi was simply worth raving about, partly because the selected cheeses all had great character. This is quality that you can taste with the first bite and enjoy until the last bite. Mille Grazie to the pizza maker and the very friendly young man who served us.

We amore this restaurant. Worth the (small) walk out of Amsterdam centre. Beautiful food, wonderful atmosphere and attentive staff.

After searching for some time trying to find somewhere we wanted to go for dinner we stumbled across this Italian restaurant. The waiter was a funny, cheerful and friendly guy that welcomed our group and conversed with us as we were there. I think his name may be Pedro. Keep up the good work! Reasonable prices and the food was tasty and fresh (we all got pizza and pasta dishes). would definitely come again.

Lovely little spot! Went here on a whim after picking up from a nearby ~coffee shop~ without many expectations beyond wanting Italian food and they did not disappoint! Ended up staying far longer than planned after getting into a conversation with another solo diner. Had coffee and drinks and stayed quite late, but the staff were super nice and accommodating all the way through! This restaurant had great food and service and was the catalyst for quite an interesting and memorable night!

This place is amazing! We got the burrata pizza and it was divine. The staff was really nice and the ambiance was calm and friendly.

We arrived on New Year’s Day as a party of 7. We waited around 1 hour 20 mins for food to arrive. The steak we ordered medium came very raw. Our friend had a pepperoni pizza with 5 pieces of pepperoni on it, that was the best we had on the table. The Coca Cola was from a big 2 litre bottle and was flat as well as the sprite. The garlic bread was burnt into the bottom of the pan so we could not get it out. We were patient and reasonable however we said we would return the unsatisfactory food as we would not be prepared to pay for it. We paid for the food that was satisfactory as well as the drinks. The waiter was over worked even though there were only 3 tables occupied. The manager came out and just stared at us. The waiter apologised then asked us not to come back (we shouldn’t have gone to begin with 😭)

The restaurant might look nice from the outside but as soon as you sit down you understand the mistake you've done. Supermarket food prepared in a hurry. Don't go there.

Very nice atmosphere and great service. Especially knowledgeable with food allergies as my wife is a celiac and they were able to advise her about safe options.

Stopped in pretty late for a Togo order, they were so friendly and accommodating even though they were close to closing. The gf garlic bread was absolutely delicious!! Plan better than me and dine in for a better experience but it was good, even cold back at the hotel.

**Very gluten-friendly** We happened to visit on the one day they had run out of GF burger buns, and the chef adapted the GF bread from the pasta dishes. Does both GF and non Gf burgers, pasta, and pizza are very tourists friendly.

Quite simply the best Napoletana pizza I've had in a long time. In addition, the value for money is excellent and the servers are very friendly.

Called here for a late evening meal, it was pretty quiet so the food came very fast and was very fresh. We had calzone and veg pizza, both were amazing. Staff were on point with service.

We enjoyed Lasagna, Bolognese Pasta, Chicken Salad, wine, lemonades and a delicious Tiramisu. The price is affordable and the flavor is delicious, all fresh, made to order! The atmosphere is excellent to go with family or your special person, the music is a perfect complement to the food, without a doubt a very enjoyable experience. We will return! The attention of Leo, Marcos and Pedro is excellent, and the cook Alexis is undoubtedly wonderful! We recommend it!

I recently had dinner at Ristorante Amore and I have to say it was a disappointing experience. The service was extremely slow; we had to wait a long time before we could place our order and even longer before the food came. To make matters worse, some items were missing from our order. We did not receive the starter we ordered and had to ask several times for the missing one. This restaurant certainly does not deserve more than one star.

Very delicious food and very tasty

Me and friend have eaten here twice now. First time receiving a 10% discount on future order so appeared here again later the same day and enjoyed a spaghetti carbonara and a cheese burger with beers. Was a little hesitant at first as property looked similar to several others in the area but the food was genuinely VERY nice and staff member ‘Pedro’ was helpful, politely comical and added to the atmosphere. Give it a try guys, for the price you won’t be disappointed

Super good service and a cool place

I stumbled across this restaurant accidentally, I was with my mother (who is in a wheelchair) and we sat outside. She had a pizza and I had a rib eye steak with pepper sauce, we both enjoyed our meals, although there was no dressing on the side salad, it was a bit bland, but the steak was great! The staff were very accommodating and once it started sprinkling rain they were quick to extend the awning. We were also offered complimentary coffee on the house once we’d finished our meals. An overall lovely experience.

The owner is very friendly and their pizzas tastes nice. We tried Pizza pollo.You can come here for a nice fellas🍕.

Definitely one of the best pizzas I’ve eaten in my life, the people there are incredible and they treat you so well, the desserts so tasty and the pizzas are fresh. If you want a really good pizza in a good location definitely is here. Grazie Mille Pedro!

Food was delicious, me and my boyfriend had just arrived from London and they were really kind and friendly. Our food was served by Leo and food was cooked by Alexi, both very kind and lovely people. We will definitely be coming back soon and recommend this place for dinner :))(

It's a shame you can't give 0 stars, but I wonder have the people who reviewed this restaurant ever eaten Italian???? I'm speechless, we had 4 margheritas (thank goodness we were on the Margherita), a terrible pizza, yes I know as an Italian you will tell me but who the hell made you go and eat pizza abroad, but after 2 days of eating fried food, bread, potatoes and lots of other rubbish, we wanted a change, THE REVIEWS WERE GOOD, but I swear it doesn't deserve anything. As an Italian, never set foot in here. And finally, before leaving, the waiter was squeaking in front of the door and with that I'll close.

We recommend. Service, wine selection, food and atmosphere all came together wonderfully! It was worth visiting the restaurant! Thank you.

With my wife and two teenagers, we are happy to have found this restaurant with gluten-free pizzas and other delicious dishes. With celiac disease (gluten-free) we are always very limited and have to make compromises when it comes to the ambience of our restaurants. But the service was wonderful and the prices were completely reasonable. We can only recommend it.

Authentic Italian restaurant with a very good family atmosphere. All the dishes we tried were delicious. The attention from Leo (Romano, from Trastevere) was unbeatable. The best in this area without a doubt. Highly recommended.

Food was great, beer was cold, and the owner was very friendly. Would highly recommend if craving Italian. They serve great coffee too!

T-bone was really good. But after asking to pay separetely, the answer was ‘oh i can’t do that’. They just didnt want to make an effort, and we were the only customers. That was not nice.

This restaurant is really a 4.5 star as the quality/taste of the food and the price go hand in hand. It loses half a star for the interior seating area which is basic. The owner is hands on and may be your server. I would definitely return again when I am next in Amsterdam.

absolutely loved this spot!!!! needed some late night food and stumbled into this inviting space! alex & leo were amazing in the kitchen and in making guests feel welcomed and taken care of. now the food… was AMAZING! loved the focaccia bread (saved some to eat w pasta) and the calamari was the best i think i’ve ever had. my friend got a mushroom tortellini and i got a seafood pasta , both were exactly what we hoped. we aren’t here for long but we absolutely will be back
