Amsterdamsch Koffijhuis in Wijk 00 West-Terschelling

It takes impressive when a simple meal you've eaten hundreds of times becomes special again and surprises you. That's what they did here at the coffee house with the satay. A simple dish, but even tastier here than anywhere else! The people were super friendly and the place is full of charm. Definitely recommended.

We ate at the Amsterdamsch Koffijhuis. We hadn't made a reservation, but there was still a table for two available. Some tables were reserved as well, so we arrived just in time. We ordered spareribs and a steak. The spareribs were incredibly tender; the meat practically fell off the bone. They were deliciously marinated. Two sauces on the side made it even better. The steak was a real winner. A very beautiful piece of meat, perfectly cooked medium and well-seasoned. A pure steak as it should be, but one you rarely get. Well-fried mushrooms on the side, not too many so the focus remained on the steak. Tasty fresh fries on the side. These were clearly fried in clean, clear oil. There wasn't a single stain on them. A small bowl of salad that was perfectly adequate. Compliments to Chef Marion. The service was prompt and attentive. Absolutely excellent; in short, we will definitely be back.

We had a delicious meal twice during our holiday. The prawns in spicy garlic oil are delicious. The service is super friendly; we felt truly welcome. Our puppy dog ​​was also welcome, which was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended!

Wat een ballentent is dit geworden! Jammer. Belachelijk duur. Als je nog niet eens weet hoe je een saté maakt met frietjes en sla. 8 jaar geleden nog met joost en wietse. Nu met een soort uitsmijter, barkeeper in z n t- shirt. Niet heen gaan dus.

Onwijs gezellige bediening, heerlijk biertje en super lekker eten. Meer kan ik er niet over zeggen. Het is dus een aanrader.

We went to Terschelling last weekend for a short holiday! We visited the coffee house with our group, it would have been better NOT to do so! The female owner has been downright indecent and rude to us! We decided to get out of there! To avoid further inconveniences! Isabelle is a very nice girl, we found it very uncomfortable for you too! 8 customers were sent away with your big mouth, shame on you, rude woman! Good luck with your business, you will never see us again!

We have been coming to Rinke and Marion for years. Very cozy cafe with homemade drop shot! Rinke even saved my phone from the Taxi!

Apparently the owner has changed because the food was very disappointing, especially for that price. The baguette beforehand was a harbinger because the dishes afterwards were also disappointing. Goat cheese served as oliebol is not recommended and neither is a WHOLE breaded brie as a main course 😅 Unfortunately, the clerk didn't seem enthusiastic either...

Top restaurant, instead of 1 evening we had 2 evenings there, it was really good.

Tasty, tender steak with mushrooms served with generous portions of raw vegetables and fries. Friendly service, I did see people coming to the bar every now and then to place an order or to pay. Not an issue for me, but some people may have difficulty with it. Relaxed reggae music.

Het Amsterdamsch koffiehuis is een echte aanrader als je op het mooie eiland Terschelling bent.Een beetje verstopt onder het  licht van de Brandaris. Maar goed te vinden, zonder veel moeite. De kaart is goed en doordacht, niet te uitgebreid en voor elk wat wils.  De biefstuk en spareribs zijn al jaren onze favorieten. Maar ook de visgerechten zijn helemaal prima. Het is goed klaargemaakt en het duurt niet (te) lang voordat het op tafel komt. De gezelligheid komt je tegemoet in dit bruine café. Je wordt altijd hartelijk welkom geheten. De bediening is vlot en attent. Voor een praatje zijn ze altijd in, maar rustig een boek lezen kan ook prima. De sfeer komt op mij ongedwongen en easy-going over. Fijn! Koffie, lunch, borrel of dinner, dit is altijd een fijne plek. Voor mij geen vakantie zonder een bezoek aan dit koffiehuis!!

Jedes Mal, wenn wir auf Terschelling sind, kehren wir hier ein und sind immer wieder restlos begeistert. Besonders das Beefsteak und der Ziegenkäse im Blätterteig begeistern uns immer wieder... Heute erneut, das Fleisch war wirklich butterzart, besser geht es nicht! Jedes Mal werden wir überaus freundlich und zuvorkommend begrüßt und es bleiben keine Wünsche offen. Für uns mit Abstand das schönste Restaurant auf Terschelling. Immer wieder gerne und wir freuen uns schon wieder auf das nächste Mal. Unsere absolute Empfehlung!

Leuk cafe, vriendelijke mensen, maar als er buiten een bordje hangt met 'koffie en gebak' erop, zorg dan ook dat je gebak hebt en kom niet aan met een excuus dat je ervoor twee dagen dicht bent geweest..

Je hebt er lekkere biefstuk en scampi ijgenlijk is het hier alles lekker én de hond jack is bij iedereen die hier komt bekend kom hier vaak én is altijd gezellig hier

Leuke kroeg. maar OMG de eigenaar met zijn partner. zij staat achter de bar haar eten tussen haar tanden uit te peuteren. Ze praten met elkaar zo hard dat je al hun persoonlijke sores te weten komt. een cursus op de hotelschool zou geen overbodige luxe zijn. Misschien dat ze dan weten hoe je een kroeg runt. Hoe je met een bepaald elan en klasse toch een ontspannen sfeer neerzet zoals je in een bruincafe verwacht.

Het mooiste eetcafé van Terschelling; gezellig en lekker eten, ook vega en vegan opties! Hoofdgerechten van 17,75 - 26 euro. Honden toegestaan. Must see

Super Essen. Einer der Bewertungen zuvor erwähnte so etwas wie die besten Spareribs seines Lebens. Die sind in der Tat absolut top. Das Essen war von vorne bis hinten perfekt.

Gezellig borrelen en heerlijk eten. De sate is top !

Eines meiner Lieblings Restaurants. Ich habe fast die ganze Karte durchprobiert (bis auf Fisch )und alle Gerichte schmecken hervorragend. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und die Atmosphäre ist gemütlich.

We hebben hier heerlijk gegeten. Het eten is eenvoudig maar goed. De eigenaars werken zelf mee in het restaurant. Vriendelijke bediening en alle tijd om gezellig te eten.
