A great location. Unfortunately, we had to wait over 30 minutes before being served. It took another 15 minutes for our drinks to arrive, and that was after the people at the next table, who had arrived much later, were served before us. Unfortunately, food like lunch or breakfast wasn't available before noon.

Had delicious vegan cakes and coffee at View of the Sea! The service was incredibly friendly and communicative. Highly recommended if you want to sit out of the wind but with a beautiful view.

They have delicious homemade vegan lemon cake and tasty coffee here. The staff is very friendly and accommodating when it comes to dietary restrictions.

Excellent service: friendly and attentive. We have enjoyed coming here for coffee, tea, or lunch for years. This time we are staying in West, so we stopped by for dinner as well. Beautiful location, lovely ambiance. Our favorite spot is the conservatory.

Indeed, a beautiful view. I eat gluten-free, and the waiter said: "You don't have a cookie with your tea; those aren't gluten-free." Now that's thoughtful.

Fantastic gluten free chocolate muffin (you can taste the chocolate). They also have gluten free bread rolls. Coffee is great and the cafe looks nice too.

Nice spot with a view over the harbor! The food isn't super tasty, but it's mainly the service that spoils the experience. It takes a long time, they don't look around enough, then the kitchen was on break again (5 pm?), and they are clumsy with serving and recommending dishes. All in all, a nice place for just a quick drink!

We ordered coffee here, the staff very friendly. The quality of the coffee was acceptable. The only problem was they do not have english menu.

We had lunch here for a change. There were still tables available on the terrace. After a while, a staff member came to take our order. The dishes were served quickly, though. They could have had more flavor.

We ate there twice within a week, and it has become clear once again that the waiter makes or breaks your experience. The fish tartare, in particular, is excellent. The salmon and ribeye were a bit too salty for our taste. Evening 1: good, attentive service, and we decided to come back. A few days later: terrible service. Everything was 'indicated' while he could have served everything perfectly well himself. Something went wrong with the rendang, meaning it wasn't ready on time (that can happen), but when we asked for compensation fries (which we were already planning to order), it was laughed off. We later pointed out that our request for fries was serious, but it took a long time before they were served. When we asked again where the fries were, we were told 'this was ordered after the rendang went wrong, so it will take a while'. By then, we had almost finished the main course. Unfortunately, the fries were eventually charged to the bill as well. Furthermore, it was very difficult to get a more spacious table because the stroller would be in the way, even though there was plenty of room around this table and this would not have caused any problems. Long story short Mixed experiences, beautiful view if you sit in the conservatory (reservations recommended!), and the food is of good quality but a bit salty.

Had some lovely drinks; it's nice that they have a game card where you can play various card and dice games.

Every year we sit here when we head back to the mainland. A way to wrap things up with a good cup of coffee and a snack, overlooking the harbor with the boats.

We sat down for a meal on Tuesday. It was a fantastic concept. We enjoyed a three-course dinner and sat at long tables. We had lovely conversations and enjoyed delicious food. Choices of meat and vegetarian! Great service and a lovely atmosphere. Don't forget to try the cocktails! 😎

Tasty food, but on the pricey side

We had a great meal there, Tomato Soup , delicious and then Moule and Fries delicious too. Our server a lovely young lady with perfect English was really helpful in explaining what the meals were as we don't speak Dutch. Thank you.

So, Now it has to go. We were here for dinner yesterday. Very, very tasty. The duck breast was very delicately garnished on a bed of vegetables and a delicious sauce. A poem. My wife had fish. It was perfectly cooked and generously garnished. Junior had the burger, which was also very juicy and delicious. Afterwards, my son and I couldn't resist ordering the rib eye as dessert, so to speak. A good decision. A dream for the taste buds. The staff were very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommended without reservation.

We went there both for lunch and dinner and both were amazing! The food was very flavoursome and the lemon coconut cake was insanely good (please never take it out of the menu😭 we need to eat it again!). The wait staff was super attentive to the vegan options on the menu and made us feel cared for! Definitely recommend eating there!

Roderick still had a few hours to kill. As he strolled along the quay, he saw a sign that read "Grandcafé Zeezicht." That was perfect. The sea is beautiful, and with a good pair of glasses from the local optician, the view is often good. The two aged cheese croquettes were delicious. Perfection on a plate. Their own beer swam in the glass. Although the glass resembled the mushroom of Pimpelneus the gnome, the sips were heavenly. The atmosphere, on the other hand, was stormy. The children were making sounds like jackhammers on an Amsterdam night. Zeezicht couldn't do anything about that. I'm safely drifting home on the boat. Do you see me waving? What a view.

We wanted to sit in the conservatory with a baby, but unfortunately, that wasn't allowed. Several people with babies had already been turned away. It's very strange and odd that babies aren't welcome these days.

A beautiful spot by the harbor. You can watch the ferries depart. It was very busy, so we had time to thoroughly explore the menu. What a selection! My son chose the spicy chicken, and I opted for a fantastic "uitsmijter" (fried eggs on a large toasted sandwich). Delicious!

We had a delicious meal at Restaurant Zeezicht last night. I had the beetroot soup and the haddock, both delicious and made entirely lactose-free and gluten-free for me. My husband had the mustard soup and burger. He loved both, too. Because I accidentally got the wrong dessert, I got the right one for free! Great service! In short, highly recommended!

We hebben lekker gegeten. Twee keer een maaltijdsalade vis plus frietjes en een keer een hamburger. Alledrie waren we tevreden. Goed op smaak en prima prijs kwaliteit verhouding. Lekkere wijn erbij en vriendelijk personeel. Dus leuke tent met mooi uitzicht op de haven van Terschelling.

I waited 40 minutes for someone to come and take our order. I walked to the bar myself to ask if I could order something. I was told that the kitchen closed 10 minutes ago and that you could only order something to drink. Too bad you have to go after that yourself and then get this answer. So I just had a drink and the atmosphere was very pleasant.

Lekkere glutenvrije lunch gegeten. Ipv broodje kreeg ik glutenvrij brood. Ik nam de pittige kip. Heel lekker. Alle soepen zijn er standaard glutenvrij. Ik heb de bloemkool-kokos geprobeerd, een aanrader. Ze hebben ook glutenvrije muffins op de kaart. Het restaurant heeft zoals de naam al aangeeft uitzicht op de zee/haven.

Sorry, but this place just breathes faded glory. Sugar cubes in a dirty jar, milk with your coffee you only get when you ask for it, plastic flowers on the table. Chairs and tables that are way past their prime, a 'Fries dûmpke' with your coffee that you can bite your teeth on. And staff that is too busy chatting with each other. They do everything they can to quickly chase customers away. Then go and visit the completely renovated KeRijfbar. You can get some inspiration about how it can be done.

15-03-25 we had dinner here. Reservations are a must and the dog can come in without any problem. 5 star service from the staff. Immediately communicated that they were short of staff. Then did not wait long for the menu/drink order. Delicious food! The staff really deserves the credits, really great! They really know what catering entails and what you should pay attention to.

I spent a relaxing afternoon here, first with tea and some stimulating reading. Afterwards, I ordered the "Vis van het moment" (The Moment). The food was delicious, and the service was friendly and attentive.

We had a whisky tasting on Friday evening. Unfortunately, it was aimed at novice whisky drinkers, so they only served basic whiskies. But that was made up for by the excellent snacks served alongside the whiskies. The whisky story was also good. Next time, a tasting for more experienced whisky drinkers 😉 And on Saturday, we had a delicious mocktail with a delicious short rib croquette. 👌 The food here is worth it.

Weiterempfehlung! Wir haben am Nachmittag für 2 Personen am Abend reserviert. Als wir ankamen, war sehr viel los. Am Platz haben wir zu den Menükarten Infos zu den Tagesmenüs bekommen. Hinsichtlich der Getränke haben wir Empfehlungen und Beratungen zu unseren favorisierten Geschmacksrichtungen beim Bier bekommen. Die Vorspeise kam in angemessener Zeit, war lecker und optisch sehr ansprechend angerichtet. Der Hauptgang bestand aus 'Viscurry' und 'Kung Pao Kip'. Beide Gerichte waren sehr sehr lecker. Das Kung Pao war etwas schärfer als das Viscurry, falls das jemanden weiter hilft. Da wir etwas länger auf den Hauptgang warten mussten, es war viel los, kam uns aber nicht zu lange vor, wir hatten ja leckeres Bier, bat der Kellner von sich aus an, einen Dessert aufs Haus zu servieren. Auch dieser war sehr hübsch angerichtet und schmeckte hervorragend. Das Chocolade shortbread bestand aus einer Art Küchenstück, in Richtung Tiramisu, jedoch fester, geprägt vom schokoladig, nussig und karamelligen Geschmack, in Richtung einer Note Snickers, dazu cremiges Vanilleeis und Sahne. Das Personal war sehr freundlich. Vom Preis her war alles okay. War nicht günstig, aber auch nicht teuer. Dafür hat man super Essen und Bier mit top Service bekommen. Alles Fair! Falls wir mal wieder auf Terschelling Urlaub machen sollten, wissen wir schon, wo wir zu Abend essen werden.

Delicious food and being able to play a game.

This is one of our favorite places. Today I ate a delicious hamburger sandwich, one was specially put together for me because of lactose-free food. Really super tasty! “These people immediately thought along and instead of a soft roll, they had a baked-off roll and a different sauce. My friend tried them both and loved them both! We will definitely come back here many more times!

Ate here with my wife, staff was friendly, atmosphere good Unfortunately the food was very disappointing, my wife chose plaice This one was very wet and squishy, ​​anything but ok At that moment I didn't say too much so as not to cause any further hassle in a shop full of customers. Didn't order anything after this, but paid for it straight away, (was done with it straight away) but indicated at the checkout that the fish was really not good. People felt it was a pity that we had not said anything, because then something else could have been given. Na online aangegeven te hebben dat we een beperking hadden bij het diner, werden we netjes teruggebeld met de mogelijkheden in Zeezicht. In Zeezicht wordt met smaak en doordachte visie gekookt. Vlotte en attente bediening en mooi geserveerde gerechten. Het was een warme dag tijdens ons bezoek, deuren stonden open. Helaas gaf dit wel wat overlast van vliegen, die de maaltijd regelmatig verstoorden.

We had a lovely meal here last Saturday with the four of us. The service was really great by the gentleman who took care of the entire terrace. Everyone enjoyed the terrace. It was clear that the waiter knew what he was doing and he helped us tremendously. What I also thought was very nice was that you just get a carafe of tap water in addition to the wine at no extra cost. The food tasted very good. The fish board beforehand was good and we had a pan full of mussels and cockles for 2 people called 'wad appart ja'. Highly recommended if you are on Terschelling!
