Perfect casual dinner. Great food. we had the steak and sole, borth excellent. A very friendly and kind International staff (Denmark, Columbia, France) make for a pleasant ambiance. Highly recommend. Google, why can't I give 6 stars? ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We'd already seen some truly delicious dishes in the photos in the reviews. With high expectations, we arrived at De Bras. We received a friendly welcome. The cod was delicious, the soft brownie with a crispy crust a surprise. The Italian white wine (Pinot) was a smooth recommendation. For those who enjoy it, a cocktail followed. A pure indulgence.

Everything is so beautiful! The food is excellent, the ambience, the people, i completely suggest it to anyone to visit. Its a very tranquil place where the souls of people meet where good food liy.

Very nice party restaurant in Terschelling!

Great restaurant with the chef's son as waiters. The guy was fantastic, and the service was great, and the dessert he served us was fantastic. I'm a fan of this guy. And they'll definitely see me back around the holidays.

We ate here last Friday with 8 adults and 4 children (ages 2 to 15). The atmosphere is great, the food even better, and the staff super friendly! Even the chef came out of the kitchen to offer advice on the tuna. I even had the curry and the vegetarian burger with my girlfriend; they were truly amazing! As a brownie connoisseur, I naturally chose the brownie for dessert; it was the best I've ever had! Oh yes, the dishes are prepared with fresh ingredients. Highly recommended!

A lovely, cozy place with varied and simply good food. We enjoyed delicious scallops and the wonderfully meaty oysters from the Oyster Factory. A Viognier accompanied the Thai vegetarian and spicy shrimp curries. Everything was beautifully prepared to perfection. The service is friendly and could do with a bit more Dutch, but their dedication to ensuring we had a pleasant evening was outstanding. A delicious glass of Oban with a good cup of coffee completed our dinner. Definitely recommended 🙂

Last night was another one of those blunders you see in reviews every now and then: prawns overcooked, sole overcooked, and a long wait for the main course. After commenting on the fish, we were asked if we'd had a coffee on the house. We hadn't, but we did get coffee, but we paid for it ourselves. Not recommended in this way.

Delicious food and top service! We had a guest with multiple allergies and a pregnant woman at the table. The Chef managed to make time during rush hour to explain to us at the table what the options were. All 5 of us had a delicious meal and the service was very friendly! We will definitely come back 👍🏻

Bad experience, bad service. With all three dishes we had to do our best to get what we ordered. Manager tried her best, but did not come up with a solution.

Nice atmosphere, attentive service, great food.

(That one star because of the forgotten fries) Yet, given the time and opportunity, we would eat here every day. Attentive and friendly staff, quite important for the atmosphere. An open kitchen is a bit cliché, but on the other hand you still feel that you are a bit 'there'. And then the food… the curry and the steak (which we ordered) were fantastic! Especially the curry, you'll love it. Can also be used as a vegetarian dish as far as I'm concerned.

Despite not enough staff, we had a delicious meal and watched Oranje. Good service despite the crowds.

Good menu with sufficient choice. We had fish and steak, both were cooked perfectly. In our opinion, the quality is above average. Very tasty food, definitely recommended. Nice staff, friendly manager with time for the guests.

Nice tent in West Terschelling. Unfortunately, when we were there, the staff did not know what a Brandaan was. So her first week was forgiven. In our experience it was still a bit awkward. The start of the season. We had oysters and beef tartare as a starter. Very tasty. Oysters were really good. The sole as a main course was delicious and the pastelle de nata dessert gets a delicious recommendation.

Amazing atmosphere, amazing view into kitchen and pleasant and friendly staff. Recommend to visit and try the teriyaki beef as a starter. The main course was amazing as well. Can’t wait to visit again

Had a wonderful evening in the Bras! First time eating here and pleasantly surprised! Last year we went oyster picking with the Oyster Factory skipper. This year we had to eat at De Bras :) Had a great evening. Of course we had super fresh, delicious oysters, served with good wine. Starter 'scallops': delicious! can I go again tomorrow? Main courses great! All preparations super good. And normally not such a desert fan, but desserts were also soooo tasty! Pastel de nata cake and those brownies; can't be that nice. And then also super sweet, attentive service! All in a pleasant atmosphere, beautiful business! We are fans!

Surprisingly tasty and varied food with super friendly service with good humor

Price quality is very poor. The food is tasty, but for this price you can really expect more. This indicated, the simple answer was; I will tell the kitchen to make it a little bigger. You feel that something is going wrong everywhere around you. One has to wait a long time and the other gets an apology from the chef. Then you order (you think) a delicious cranberry sorbet that turns out to be gone. But then there are just 2. Two lousy scoops of ice cream with a few crumbs of pound cake for almost €10 each. A real letdown. Big bill paid, off to the snack bar for a soft ice cream! 🍦

We got a three course menu where we couldn't choose ourselves. The vegetarian menu contained coriander, unfortunately a herb that you may or may not like (the latter is the case with me..). When asked if I liked it, I honestly answered that unfortunately I did not. They said they would see what they could do about it (without me asking). After walking away from the waiter, my table companion indicated that he liked coriander, so we decided to swap. I walked to the service to indicate that no action was necessary. So far nothing has really happened. There were now three staff members at the bar I walked to. While I tried to explain that she did not have to arrange a solution, I was told that “there wasn't much to it”, “that I should have told her in advance” and when I carefully said that coriander might not be the most the obvious spice is for a dish that is in a menu (not a-la-carte), they said in a very unfriendly manner "just eat your plate, madam". Rarely treated so unpleasantly. Since direct feedback was not appreciated, then a bad review. Maybe that will help better? I fully understood the fuss and did not ask for a solution, so the unfriendly comments could have been left out. It's a shame to treat your customers this way.

Delicious food, friendly service

I cannot judge the food and atmosphere because I have not been there, hence the neutral review. The service is appalling... reserved a table for 2 for December 24, early September. Today the reservation was canceled without notice. A special interpretation of hospitality that should characterize the catering industry

The food was excellent and the waiter was very sociable. Food was served within 15 minutes.

Price-quality very disappointing. Service downright bad. Service at the table by an English-speaking lady who does not speak or understand a single word of Dutch. Ordered the ribeye 4 times, after 15 minutes they came and said it was gone. Then ordered 2x steak medium-rare with mushroom sauce and 2x steak medium with pepper sauce. And yes, 5 minutes later we are told that the pepper sauce can no longer be served. Ordered a portion of fries on the side. The steak that I received on my plate as medium was even redder on the inside than the steak my partner ordered medium-rare. The potatoes that were to be served were replaced by rice without consultation. So on my plate a steak, green beans and rice. Strange combination, isn't it? Oh yes, and we had to ask for the fries we ordered again and they arrived on the table when we were almost finished eating. Didn't have dessert because of the absurdly high prices. Finished with coffee. Overall a bad experience in this restaurant. A bit of service would have been appropriate. Then offer the fries for free as an inconvenience or offer a round of coffee on the house afterwards. That might have eased the pain a bit. This is very unfortunate. No tip given due to poor service.

Super gezellig! Heerlijk oesters gegeten en formule 1 op groot scherm! Leuke bediening, en 5 sterren voor de eigenaresse

Wir waren als 20-Personen starke Gruppe da. Wir wurden als Gruppe gesehen und nicht als 20 einzelne Gäste. Besondere Wünsche oder Änderungen waren unerwünscht. Einzeln zu bezahlen, wurde verweigert.

We werden welkom geheten door een fantastische gastvrouw. Zeer prettig in de omgang & doet met regelmaat voorstellen voor de verschillende gangen. Ook het andere personeel heel toegankelijk. Prettige ambiance & heerlijk eten dat op mooie borden wordt opgediend. Aanrader!

Tijdens Oerol brengen zij hun eigen programma, en wat voor één. Volgend jaar komen we er wéér en dan gaan we er ook eens eten. Heel vriendelijk personeel. Wat een verbetering vergeleken met de oude Braskoer, het is 100% opgeknapt. Heerlijke wijnen! Gezellig.

Geweldig band, optreden van de Blues Brothers in de Bras tijdens Oerol, druk druk, jammer dat er te weinig personeel was , achter de voorste bar 4 personen achterste twee, geen glazenophalers! waardoor naar verloop van tijd de tafels die er stonden vol raakten en er daardoor geen glazen meer beschikbaar waren achter de bar en men overging naar de plastic beker, het leek wel een koffiebeker, enigste minpunt, pluspunt een mooie bar- restaurant waar je een gezellig avond kan hebben.

Krijgt er na een bepaalde tijd geen koffie of thee meer Vond het echt jammer maar ja

Heerlijk gegeten. Voor sommigen beter bekend als de kroeg die het vroeger was: de Braskoer. Nu een gezellig restaurant met heerlijke gerechten. Super lekker gegeten, er werden heerlijke wijnen bij geschonken! De volgende dag op aanraden van de chef nog meegegaan op oester excursie! Ontzetten leuk! De Bras is een aanrader!

Naar aanleiding van artikel in de telegraaf van 12 mei erg nieuwsgierig geworden We hebben heerlijk gegeten personeel was vriendelijk en attent we gaan hier bij ons volgend bezoek op Terschelling zeker weer eten Michel sandra Jan en carla

Ontvangst was erg vriendelijk. Vroeg of wij (we waren met 3 personen) oesters wilden. Ik had deze nog nooit gegeten, maar wilde toch 1 stuks proberen. Deze was erg goed. De andere wilden geen oesters. De coquilles en kokkels waren erg goed. Kort gezegd bediening erg goed, prima eten en mooie presentatie van het eten

Heerlijk. Tournedos met een heerlijke vlezige smaak. Bijzondere gerechtjes voor shared dining. Niet goedkoop, maar ook niet te duur.

Zeer aardige gastvrouw. Leuke ambiance. Goed eten. Dik in orde.

Heerlijk op het terras gezeten! Gezellige bediening, goede service en heerlijk geborreld. Aanrader als je op Terschelling bent!!

Went inside, the woman at the bar told be to sit down and someone will come to me, I waited ~30minutes and left. It's a shame, the place and atmosphere is really nice and the menu looked great, sadly I couldn't try it

Leuk en lekker eten met lokale producten, vriendelijk personeel.

Heerlijk gegeten, gezellige ambiance met lekkere muziek op de achtergrond en uitstekende bediening. Hier met z’n tweeën op de gok binnen gestapt en erg blij dat we dit gedaan hebben. Aanraders zijn de lokale oesters, echt een van lekkerste die ik ooit gegeten heb. Eigenaresse heeft ons vervolgens een verassingsmenu aangeboden, wat uiteenliep van lokale kokkels tot een heerlijke bakkeljauw. Dessert met cranberry ijs ook zeker een aanrader. Fijne zaak die lokale producten combineert met een Portugese twist. Wij komen zeker terug.

Heerlijke oesters met cava! Je kunt de oesters ook zelf van het wad plukken met de excursie die door De Bras aangeboden wordt. Vriendelijke bediening en gezellige plek om te zitten!

Heerlijk gegeten 5 gerechten van sharing diner kaart , allemaal even lekker op smaak. Hele gezellige ambiance en bediening die attent en oprecht is. Zeker een aanrader , heel erg genoten.

Porties kleiner dan het eiland, vervolgens persoonlijk nog benaderd worden in het volgende café dat we deze recensie niet zouden moeten schrijven.

Op een donderdagavond in januari loopt het toch aardig vol in de Bras. Gezellig. Vier heerlijke gerechtjes gekozen en samen gegeten met een goed glas wijn.

Onlangs gegeten bij de Bras op Terschelling en het was een absoluut geweldige ervaring. Van begin tot eind was de service uitstekend en de sfeer was gezellig en uitnodigend. De verschillene kleine gerechten waren absoluut heerlijk, perfect bereid en prachtig gepresenteerd. De Oesters waren ongelooflijk vers en de smaken waren geweldig. Ik raad dit restaurant aan iedereen aan die Terschelling bezoekt, het is een must-try voor elke liefhebber van lekker eten. Vijf sterren!

Mooie zaak, leuke sfeer en dito (Mexicaanse) bediening!

Geweldige zaak en service de lekkerste mosseltjes met zeekraal die ik ooit heb gegeten (inmiddels 4 keer van genoten). Heel bijzonder omdat ik geen maag heb en hier echt een volledige hoofdmaaltijd kan verwerken normaal is dat niet zo.

Leuke horecalocatie. Jamner dat je er 's morgens geen broodjes kunt krijgen.
