1 x previously eaten and then the staff was already rude. The second time refused because of a sleeping baby. Very unfriendly owner and service.

This man can cook! Passionate (on all fronts). Honest and fresh products. We have been coming here for 30 years, even now that we have long since moved from Amsterdam.

We (me and my mother) have been coming here for years. The rude owner and chef was entertaining. Ordering a glass of tap water is strictly prohibited. Oh well, you shrug it off, after all, it is excellent and delicious food. Very expensive but ok. BUT! Yesterday carpaccio di tonno for both of us: sick. Diarrhea. So the two of us go there before opening time to raise the issue without any customers: they refuse to come to the door. We returned after opening hours... kindly but firmly telling us what happened to us. Immediately the next reaction: impossible! That's up to you! We try to explain that we are used to eating raw fish often... When he wanted to scream I cut it off. Mr. Angoletto, we will never come again.

Honestly, amazing authentic Italian food, good service but missing the ambiance. Maybe consider putting on some music on the background. Would definitely recommend for people who love an authentic Italian experience.

I have been coming here for 30 years. Actually far too little. Had an extensive meal again yesterday. Then the kitchen really comes into its own. Really fantastic food. Delicious. What beautiful, traditional, excellent food is served here!

I'm almost afraid to write this review in case this restaurant becomes a place where it's impossible to find a table. L'Angoletto is the quintessential "hole in the wall" Italian place. I really can't give it a higher compliment. I had the eggplant parm--it was the best. eggplant. parm. I've ever had. Perfectly seasoned; light, crunchy-yet-soft, the eggplant so tender I didn't need a knife. The atmosphere was so pleasant and cozy that we didn't want to leave and ended up having an extra (excellent) coffee. What a gem <3 I can't for the life of me understand the negative reviews. Looking forward to our next visit!

Les pires carbonara de ma vie, elle baignaient dans l'huile... La pizza de ma compagne était bonne. Le service agréable. L'addition très salée et en liquide, pas de carte bleue. Pas terrible...

Nice glass of white wine. Tasty bread, poor carbonara. Beware NO CREDIT CARDS… we found out the hard way when the amiable Italian chef turned less amiable. Nice atmosphere, unlikely to return.

Did a take-out order for pizza, quick service and an excellent pizza!. Only downside is the cash-only payment but with an ATM a hundred meters or so from the restaurant it's not a massive issue.

Endroit à ne pas manquer pour ceux qui vont à Amsterdam. Nous étions deux et avons pris 4 plats et deux desserts tellement c'était bon. Les portions sont assez copieuses sans être étouffantes et le personnel est super sympa. Franchement super bien ! à recommander ! Merci pour tout

Vi fick vänta 20 min på att beställa maten. Man fick inte dela en pizza utan var tvungen att beställa varsin maträtt. Sen när pizzan väl kom var det med broccoli istället för spenat som vi hade beställt. Vi kände oss inte välkomna utan det mesta var besvärligt.

Best Italiaanse Restaurant van Amsterdam. Als je van de authentieke Italiaanse keuken houd moet je hier zijn. Restaurant en kaart zijn van goede kwaliteit. Alles vers en door de Italiaanse chef en eigenaar zelf bereid. Je kunt er prima pizza's en pasta's eten, maar de andere gerechten zijn zeker zo interessant. Heerlijke verse vis, probeer als voorgerecht de carpaccio pulpo (niet altijd op de kaart). De kaart varieert regelmatig, net zoals de seizoenen. Het is nu september en de paddestoelen komen weer op de kaart. Heerlijke past met eekhoorntjesbrood. Soms ook verse truffel. Kan niet wachten.

Restaurant familiar con atención muy atenta y cálida. Excelente pasta. Muy recomendable el tiramisú.

Super lekker gegeten in dit piepkleine restaurantje. De gerechten worden gemaakt met authentieke en verse ingrediënten. Dit is voor ons de best verborgen parel in Amsterdam...Even uit de drukte ontsnappen? Dan is dit de place tot be!!!

Ik heb hier de heerlijkste groentepizza van m'n leven gegeten, dankjewel! Heerlijk voedsel, gezellig en knus restaurant, een echte aanrader als je van écht Italiaans eten houdt!

Servicio lento. Tuve que recordar al camarero un par de veces sobre una pajita para los tres años y una cerveza. Cuando finalmente llegó el plato principal (mucho después de que terminaron los aperitivos) se habían olvidado de la pasta para el niño, por lo que nuevamente esperaban la comida que estaba demasiado caliente para ella. Cuando finalmente estuvimos listos para pagar, no aceptaron ninguna tarjeta (estamos en 2019 y no fue una comida barata en un puesto de perritos calientes), así que tuve que caminar hasta el cajero automático más cercano para traer el papel moneda desde allí. La información sobre la aceptación de efectivo se escribió en algunos lugares del restaurante, en holandés. La comida era normal, y el resto por debajo de aceptable.

Gezellig restaurant in een leuke volksbuurt waar je lekker vers gemaakt kunt eten voor betaalbare prijzen. Zeker voor herhaling vatbaar, er is nog genoeg van de kaart te kiezen om te proeven!

Met 4 volwassenen en meisje van 5 bij l'Angoletto gegeten. Geweldige bediening en zalig eten. Ook leuk om van boven af de keuken te kunnen zien en hoe de kok in de weer is met het maken van bijvoorbeeld de pizzas.
