Bad!!!!!!!!!!!! We couldn’t even celebrate a birthdays

Had a really good time and enjoyed the special breakfast.

It was tasty, but scrambled eggs did not feel like they were made today. But still the service was fast and friendly, and latte very good 😊

Such a great experience we had at Anne & Max. The staff were very friendly! We ordered an Ontbijt voor 2 and a worteltaart for the little one. The ontbijt was heerlijk! The crêpe was so tasty, as were the tosti and the roerei. The roerei is also a great option for a toddler. My son loved it (as well as the carrot cake!). The mini kitchen is a very thoughtful option for the kids to play with. Love this cute café. ❤️

When we asked a waiter if we could order something—we had already been sitting inside for at least fifteen minutes—he said he would send his colleague. Then he walked into the kitchen. We heard people talking and laughing in the kitchen, but no one came to take the order. The same waiter came out of the kitchen again after a while and asked what we wanted to order. He could have done that right away! We were bothered by the noises from the storeroom—slicing of meats was being cut—and moved to a spot by the window. No one came by again to ask if we wanted to order anything else. At a table opposite us, a glass of wine fell over onto the waiter's tray, and then the glass shattered on the floor. The colleague at the cash register angrily called out to her colleague, "Oh, a glass like that, we didn't have many of those already." No one inquired whether the customers sitting there were doing well.

Hello, we ordered food early in the morning that was cancelled within an hour without any reason. We were waiting for this order while at work, there was supposed to be a surprise waiting for us at 12 noon. Unfortunately, the order was canceled.

Great atmosphere, incredibly nice and friendly staff who pay a lot of attention to the customer, and all the drinks were delicious! Best cafe in the mall!

Very disappointing experience at Anne & Max. After no one came to take our order for a long time, I walked to the cashier myself. There, an employee told me I could sit down again and that his colleague would come over to us, because apparently I couldn't order at the counter. It also turned out the matcha was out of stock. That can happen, of course, no problem. However, we then waited endlessly again without anyone coming to us. After 35 minutes, we finally just left. Very poor and uninterested service. This was a real farce.

What nasty staff, the toilets weren't working. Then just go to the shopping center. We were waiting for a takeaway order. "You MUST sit down," said the girl. I DON'T HAVE TO DO ANYTHING!!! The order wasn't ready, it still had to be made. We had agreed on a time to pick it up. Terrible! A customer service course wouldn't hurt. And just for the record, this has nothing to do with different background. Both ladies were terribly rude.

We had breakfast here this morning. The lady who served us was very friendly and also child-friendly. The food was good, but there was very little bacon. It was a bit meager and barely, if at all, cooked. Also, the app stated that various items were sold out, but you could still order them from the ladies. Perhaps they should keep track of that a bit better. Otherwise, a great experience, and we might come back in the future if we are in the area! 😊

More brighter lighting please in the main hall that looks outside. Everything else is great. One of the rare cafes in The Netherlands that I get proper attention from employees. Keep up the great job.

Not what it used to be. Service very rushed. A simple order (cold salad) took a very long time. The salad had very little flavor. The salad was not seasoned and the quinoa was overcooked and therefore mushy. Disappointing.

If you order a simple drink with ube matcha coconut milk, you get it exactly like matcha water without ube; it really tasted like nothing. €6.40 poorer. I have tried several Anne & Max places and I notice they are getting worse and worse… I think I’ll skip this place from now on.

When we were there it was quite quiet, delicious cakes and coffee. Highly recommended. Just a pity that you have to order with a QR code instead of a staff member.

A disappointing experience compared to what I have seen at other locations. The food was of poor quality: cold, mushy quinoa, poor-quality sun-dried tomatoes, and cheese that was past its prime. No one asked about this when clearing the table either. The coffee, however, was good.

Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience. Both my meal and my partner's were very unappetizing and not worth the price at all. I ordered vegan scrambled eggs with vegan bacon. The scrambled eggs were dry and crumbly, and the so-called vegan bacon tasted sweet, almost like apple slices – truly unappetizing. I couldn't finish the dish, even though the plate was nearly full. It came with two slices of bread with an unidentifiable spread. My partner's meal was also disappointing and not at all convincing in terms of taste. Overall, the quality of the food was very poor, while the prices were extremely high. Absolutely not recommended for this price. We haven't had such a bad meal at a restaurant in a long time.

My toddler and I love coming here for a cappuccino, babychino and the wonderful vegan nijntje cakes. She always plays in the play corner while I enjoy my coffee. It's lovely.

Chewing gum behind the bar, little view of what is happening. It takes a long time... I have to say there is little staff this time. But other times, even with enough staff, it was a nightmare. Too bad...

Menu incomplete; a number of sandwiches have been removed from the menu. Wrong drink order served. I had ordered Orange Hojicha with fresh orange but received an iced matcha latte. An attempt was made to correct it, though. Eventually, I think it was a female manager who came to inform me that they didn't have fresh oranges and asked if I wanted to order something else. I ordered a fresh mint tea (what could possibly go wrong there, I thought, a nice safe choice). I did not receive fresh mint tea. The mint tea leaves were really brown! Furthermore, my friend had ordered a regular toasted sandwich. It was so hard, you could hammer a nail into the wall with it. When settling the bill, the mint tea was not listed, but the incorrectly noted iced matcha latte was. Also, the dream croissant and the regular matcha latte, which another friend had ordered, were not listed on the receipt. So we didn't have to pay for those. We only found out about this upon arriving home, when we checked the receipt. We are never coming back here!

Dirty toilets, reported but they aren't doing anything about it

I came here for coffee for the first time today after a long day of work, and I am pleasantly surprised! The barista late in the afternoon on June 1st gave me enough energy to end the day on a high note! I drank delicious coffee and went home with a smile. I will definitely be back!!

This is my second visit already. I ordered Club Yacht again as well. This time I found it very salty.

Extremely slow service - 1 hour to get 4 cappuccinos we ordered , which turned out to be cold , and basically milk with little coffee. When we followed up - the waitress offered to cancel the order after waiting for 40 mins . Amazing how a cafe can get the basics wrong . Avoid

How this place is still open is a mystery. They claim to be kid-friendly, but nothing here is friendly. I’ve been here 3–4 times to meet other moms, and once alone with my toddler—every single time has been a disaster. The entire place is dirty, including a stinky and unhygienic kids' corner. The food is poor quality; cakes are either dry or still frozen. When I previously returned a tosti because it was rock hard and impossible for an adult to bite (let alone a child), the young waitress actually tried to lecture me on how tostis are supposed to be made. The service is consistently handled by miserable, unhelpful staff. The final straw was today. I stopped by just to get a quick refreshment for my thirsty toddler while shopping. We were ignored at the table for 10 minutes. When we tried to use the QR code, it failed three times. While my child was begging for water, the staff bluntly told us they were closing and refused to even sell us a glass of water. Unbelievable. You shouldn't be in business.

Good food and vibes. Acai bowl was great but a bit thin for my preference.

We were thinking of having a nice lunch somewhere, so we decided to eat here. After 10 minutes, we received a menu and were asked what we wanted to drink. We both ordered iced lattes; my girlfriend has a lactose allergy and therefore ordered oat milk. When we received the iced lattes, she realized after the first sip that it was cow's milk, not oat milk. I went to ask, and it turned out they hadn't taken her allergy into account, even though we had clearly stated it. After this, the iced lattes were remade, this time with oat milk. After this, we ordered a club sandwich, which was rather basic for the price. All in all, a not-so-good experience and not recommended for people with allergies.

The food was mediocre. One of us has a gluten allergy, and we remembered from the previous time they had it here. Unfortunately, this time it was really bad. The bread was very sour and simply fell apart. I mentioned this to the staff, and they said they always point this out and that it often happens with gluten-free bread. I'm used to something different. It's a shame I had a bad experience because of this and I'd rather not eat here again.

Staff was not very welcoming. Ordered turmeric latte that was basically milk with a hint of turmeric.

We sat down, but the table was still dirty from the previous guests. The waitress tried to serve us even though there were still forks and other items from the previous guests on the table; we had to ask her to remove them first. In the end, she only cleared the dishes, but the table remained dirty with crumbs. A truly disappointing experience.

At first glance, it seems nice, lovely people. They could use a bit more conversation and a bit more explanation. I politely indicated in the app that I wanted my sandwich without tomato, and I got it with tomato. It's fine, I can pick it up myself, but they should read the receipts more carefully from now on. We ordered gluten-free bread, which was very dry and fell apart, and tasted like sponge. I had regular bread with chicken on it (slices), but there were a lot of slices stacked together, making it a bit harder to eat. Could use a bit more bacon than just one slice. (Some grilled chicken, but it ended up being chicken breast slices). They did pay close attention to our allergies, but what can be done? Kind regards,

Not very clean and you need patience for the service, drinks are not always the same and the staff isn't always friendly or happy to greet you. Food and drinks are nice but the rest can use some improvement 😁

What a terrible thing. They have an app for ordering, and after half an hour I asked if everything had gone well. The order had arrived, but they didn't have it anymore. Nice, but they should have come to someone instead of doing nothing and making someone wait unnecessarily. I ordered two other things, and they came back later. Sorry, we're out of eggs. Never again, it ruined my whole day. Volle Maan is across the street; the service was excellent.

The crepe was cold, the latte was cold, the focaccia was good. You guys should switch to a different drink or take out the (organic) cola; it tasted very chemical! The cups/glasses smelled very musty while drinking. Otherwise, the atmosphere was pleasant.

I practically had to beg to be able to order. Finally, they took my order, and my cappuccino arrived first, followed 20 minutes later by my croissant.

The food was tasty but pricy. The most important thing that I didn’t give two more stars is the service which was so slow. There was just one girl for such a big cafe with lots of customers. So we were waiting for half an hour to give our orders.

We waited to order but the personel was having a conversation that was more important. After a few minutes we decided to leave.

Reasonably good and well flavoured food. We had the lunch for 3 shared plate. The soup was paprika-tomato, and very well flavoured. They accommodated to our request to have the egg for 2 with salmon and 1 with bacon. And were also assured it was possible and would be done after asking the chef. The (high) chairs were pretty comfortable. They have a long table/bar with outlets which are perfect for working at. They also have a corner with couches and a record player for a nice coffee. (Not sure if you’re allowed to play music on it) The home brewed ice tea green with eldenflower was delicious!

We arrived around 2:05 PM because we'd worked up a real appetite after shopping. There were plenty of tables available near the entrance. Someone quickly came to ask what we wanted to drink, and it arrived quickly. The same went for the allergen menu. We were asked if we needed an explanation, but that wasn't necessary. After that, we waited a solid half hour for someone to come take our order. Tables were being cleared, coffee cups were being thrown across a table, and cleaning was done. We tried to make eye contact, but were ignored. We didn't see anyone else. We weren't really into the menu either. When our drinks were long gone and we were feeling quite hungry, we decided to pay at 2:40 PM, after waiting over half an hour. Unfortunately, you could only pay by card. We ended up going to McDonald's instead, where we had our food within 5 minutes. Never again.

I see this business as something that isn't reaching its full potential. The patio is open, but no one's watching the tables. Lovely weather today, but the patio is closed. It's 5 p.m., only 3 tables are occupied. Sometimes I go unnoticed. It's so nicely decorated and the staff is friendly, but COME ON, GUYS. There's so much more to it! I personally enjoy a simple fried egg sandwich or a croquette on bread; the menu is a choice. But a little attention can generate a lot more revenue.

Didn't like the place, after we checked out we found that they let us pay couple of things which we didn't order. After I back to talk about she said no it's your table. Then I told her but we didn't order those things she replied mmm of you take 9.5 back and didn't show the new receipt. Couple of young employees with 0 experience!!!

After we had a rather unfortunate experience here before due to problems with our reservation and a long wait for the food, we were offered a lunch as compensation. This time everything went very well, the service was friendly, the food was good and we were treated politely and with attention. That made up for a lot, thanks again!

No idea what was going on at Anne&Max today, but it was a disorganized mess. People who were waiting in line to be seated were regularly sent away while there were still plenty of empty tables. When we sat down, the waitress indicated that we would get drinks within 5 to 10 minutes and that the sandwiches would take about half an hour. In the end, we had to wait 45 minutes for drinks (and had already asked for them several times) and when the ordered sandwiches had not been brought after 1 hour, we left. Several people around us were waiting a very long time for their order, which was sometimes brought in parts so that one person had already finished their lunch and the other was still waiting. On the other hand, there were also people who had just sat down and had food and drinks on the table within 15 minutes. The order form had been lost at the table next to us, while they had also been waiting for lunch for 45 minutes. We didn't get any explanation of what was going on while there was a lot of noise and sound coming from the kitchen and the manager was apparently relaxed and smiling. This was definitely our last visit to Anne&Max in Leidschendam!

On May 22 around 5 PM, I went for a chai latte with two girlfriends and it was wonderful! We were helped by a super sweet young lady who took our order. The place was quite spacious, so there was plenty of room. The benches we sat on were a bit dirty, but it wasn’t too bad. The chai had a delicious flavor, and the young lady really made us feel comfortable. We’ll definitely be coming back again!

Update: tried again this time and everything was very neat and the service very nice!!! Unfortunately 1 star, food was cold, had a sandwich and all ingredients were just cold as if just came out of the fridge, even the bread. The lady who brought coffee didn't seem to like it, she emptied coffee and said nothing 😕.

Arrived 15 min before closing to order a coffee takeaway but they didnt agree to serve because they already cleaned the coffee machine 30 min before closing. Not sure how a "Cafe" can claim "open" without being able to serve coffee

Delicious food! The food was prepared with love and you can really taste that everything was fresh. The service was top notch, friendly and attentive staff who also think along with you. Despite the crowds, everything was done to help everyone as quickly as possible. You may pay a little more, but you really get something in return, because I was full for a long time! And the atmosphere was warm and homely and I felt more than welcome. It is definitely recommended and I will definitely come back.

Price quality absolutely not good. Really expect a bit more for that much money. That's why I didn't even have a drink. Ate alone!

Today I went to Anne & Max's with my girlfriend for a coffee moment. I had a cappuccino with a piece of banana bread, and my girlfriend had a latte – both very tasty! The atmosphere was very pleasant: quiet, warm and inviting. We were helped quickly and in a super friendly manner. The lady who served us did her job perfectly - friendly, attentive and professional. The banana bread tasted good, although the slice was on the thin side (about 1 cm). All in all a nice experience. We will definitely come back!

Very disappointed. We ordered a lunch platter for 2 to 18 euros per person with some drinks. The latter was brought quickly. After half an hour there was still no lunch platter, so I asked at the counter. The order turned out not to have gone through, so we had to wait even longer for it. Received a drink and an apology, so that was resolved well. Ultimately when the lunch platter was served it was a downer. 2 very small soups, a few pieces of bread cut in half with a few bowls of toppings. The hummus was really not tasty. The couscous salad was meh. The omelet with salmon looked as if we had received the scraps from a previous lunch platter. This was also not tasty and cold. The board was probably on the pass for a while. In terms of quantity, the board is more suitable for 1 person and certainly not worth 2 x 18 euros. This is indicated at checkout. It was a good thing we checked the receipt, because it also contained drinks from the table next to us. Toilets were also filthy. Such a shame, the atmosphere inside is good and it all looked promising. But we left disappointed. Update review after owner comment: So the receipt was initially incorrect. My husband noticed that drinks from the table next to us had all been added to our receipt. Only then were things adjusted and paid - your story gives the impression that we indicated that the bill was correct right away, which was not the case. Furthermore, it was no problem that it was busy and we certainly understand that mistakes are made. As I indicated, the first problem was neatly solved. But it may be wise to reconsider the quality and quantity of the lunch board.

We were at the Mall too early so we went to Anne & Max to have something to eat and drink. Ordered 2 coffees, 2 apple juice, 1 croissant, sandwich, summer salad and a piece of cheesecake. Drinks, cheesecake and croissant arrived quite quickly. The rest had to wait. Salad came first and the sandwich didn't come. After waiting 10 minutes, just ask. Wasn't made. They were going to do it right away. No excuses. We canceled the sandwich because it would take even longer. Smoked chicken salad was with chicken fillet slices. For €14, this is a cheap solution. During checkout the order was mentioned again quickly. You couldn't even hear it. This was indicated and the order was called again, so that was great. Review is of course a snapshot. Maybe it will be different at another time.

Had breakfast here recently and it was just very good. Beautifully presented, friendly staff and great location. We will definitely come back again 😊

Hugely disappointing and overpriced. Everything tasted extremely cheap, but you pay top price. I don't often write reviews but I have to protect you from wasting your hard earned money on this. Almost €45 for 4 drinks, 2 croissants, 2 cakes and 1 yoghurt. The flat white tasted cheap. The matcha latte was the worst I have ever ordered, please take it off your menu. There was hardly any taste in it, it just seemed like warm milk. The 'almond lemon croissants' were dry croissants with a sour jam on top and some almond slivers. Not what you expect from a croissant costing almost €5. Also by far the worst “luxury croissant” I have ever eaten. The 'pistachio cherry cheesecake' literally had 5 pistachio crumbs on it, you can't really call it that and again €5 for charge. See photo. I would rather sit somewhere else.

Terrible establishment. Staff does not look at you and takes a long time to serve coffee/food. When you indicate that you have been waiting for your coffee for twenty minutes, there is no 'sorry' and then they make you wait another 20 minutes. Do not go here.

Anne & Max really feels like a small local business. In both the good and the bad ways. The tent feels cozy and has a pleasant atmosphere. The food was also really good and all tasted freshly prepared. And the staff was very friendly and pleasant. On the other hand, the store is located in the Mall of the Netherlands. And for such a small business it sometimes feels like they are overwhelmed by the number of customers. Tables that still need to be cleaned when customers are seated, long times before a server arrives at your table, staff who run chaotically back and forth to bring food to the tables. Fortunately, our food arrived on time and we were not bothered by the crowds in question. However, it was difficult to see all the staff running so fast to keep the business open. All in all, the food was good, the price was affordable and the atmosphere perfect. Some negatives may be found in the number of waitresses.

The croissants were absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, with a friendly staff that made the visit feel warm and vibrant. However, the cappuccino could have been better; it didn’t quite hit the mark in terms of flavor. Despite that, the overall atmosphere and great service made it an enjoyable stop. I’d definitely return for the grilled cheese and hospitality!

Been here for the 3rd time this morning. The first two times we waited a very long time and the service was not that good. Unfortunately today is really the last time I come here. No greeting upon entry. The toilet was really dirty, we were here 30 minutes after they opened so that was strange. It took a very long time before the order was taken. When the drinks were delivered, we immediately ordered breakfast. My friend had a platter with everything and I had the acai bowl. His juice was brought first, after a few minutes the plate with breakfast. When he had almost finished it, my bowl was brought. As you can see from the photo, it is really very sparse, it could all be so much more fun and with much more love. The table where we sat was against a wall, the kitchen, and that wall was also very dirty. The place wasn't even that full, but there were about 7 people serving. Mostly hanging out and talking to each other behind the bar, drinking coffee and on phones. Everything went very slowly and there was not really a nice, cheerful energy. People who entered were not greeted or looked at, but they simply continued to talk among themselves. A table behind us had to ask if an order could be taken. It's really such a shame. I am a welcome guest in many different types of catering. Delicious food prepared with love, a clean toilet and smooth, friendly and spontaneous service is the least you can expect. Unfortunately, none of this was present here. I really think something is going wrong here with the management of the team. There is a world of difference at the branch in The Hague, very tasty and well-prepared food and always spontaneous and helpful service. I really think it's a waste of my money and time that I went here this morning.

Just a day of shopping in Leidschendam, we came from Anne and Max for lunch, it looks great and a good atmosphere. We ordered a sandwich for lunch at the same time, but after some time the waitress came to report that the choice my wife had made was not in stock, fortunately there is enough on the menu and another choice was made. After some more waiting, my wife's sandwich was neatly served at the table, but unfortunately my piri piri chicken sandwich was not, as it probably had not gone through properly in the kitchen. No problem, it would be taken care of asap. This also took longer than hoped and as a result my wife's lunch had cooled down considerably. When I asked whether it could still be put in the oven, there was hardly any response. I immediately indicated that a small compensation would be appropriate. In short: The coke ordered became a diet coke 2 cold sandwiches, 1 of which is an alternative to the first choice. T piri piri chicken sandwich, with very little chicken Still had to pay almost €35. So not worth repeating for us, which is quite a shame.

Today a high tea with my daughter for her birthday. We had to wait almost an hour for high tea to arrive. Didn't think it looked like a high tea. Everything cut way too big. 2 cake slices, a very large piece of brownie. White sandwiches with chicken fillet or something like that. It said clotted cream and marmalade no scones... when asked the girl went and got them. Staff very nice, but something is wrong in the organization. Shame.

'It's always good with Max and Anne'. So hence the choice for your restaurant. When ordering it was a disappointment that the fresh orange juice was not in stock. Can happen. Opted for something different. The drink was brought. And later my lunch also arrived. With the caveat that lunch for my colleague was also almost ready. Finally I started eating because it was getting cold. After 25 minutes I asked where my colleague's food was. It was asked... The dish my colleague ordered was not in stock! This was not reported when ordering. She was asked with little compassion what she wanted to eat. It would be fixed immediately. Another 20 minutes later her food arrived. It was put down with half an apology. She finally chose a super club sandwich. But its quality was hard to find. Bread was soggy, way too much sauce, little toppings. Slices of chicken fillet on top of each other, little bacon... No, we are not used to this from you. And there is also little fun when you are both eating alone. The Best sandwich Chefe Exelente service Is like to be at home

This is not going well. Ordered two cappuccinos. Fifteen minutes later nothing. Girls were too busy with each other. At some point I see 2 cappuccinos on the counter. Walked to; it turned out that there were indeed two cold cups for us. Asked to make 2 new ones, which I took to our table myself...... Pastries are in the refrigerator compartment next to the cash register without a cover. Definitely not hygienic....

Went there with a colleague and we loved the place. Just simple, cozy, and quiet at the time we went there. The waitress was really lively and did a great job in entertaining us.

A really lovely place, food is super tasty, drinks are great, tea is delicious. The only thing I was disappointed with was hot chocolate, the cup was only half full so it was really a waste of money. And the tea as shown in the photo is missing from a tea set and I think that is a real shame. I come here almost every week and regularly order lunch at work, delicious. What's nice is that if the service is busy, you can order yourself using the QR code on your table. The staff does their best to help you quickly, but sometimes they are just busy. :)

Hi owners of Anne and Max, We wanted to stop for a cup of coffee. After waiting 10 minutes, no one comes to take an order. We then go to the bar ourselves to ask if we can place an order. It is indicated that people will come to the table to take the order. After 10 minutes no one yet. Then we went to the counter again to ask for an order and then someone arrived within 2 minutes to take an order. We asked for a simple coffee with a flavor and the employee indicated that all flavors were gone, which is a lot of good, so be prepared for the weekend. Then I hear another table shout that they would also like to place an order, they were there before us. I think things are really not going well in the business, even though it really is a super fun business with potential. I do think that the employees there need to be trained. They really need to understand that people are not going to wait half an hour if you come for a cup of coffee. Greetings, Sam

Disappointed with their Anne&Max ‘special’ Nachos. Looks like they are inconsistent because it is good sometime and worse sometimes. Service needs to be improved…they made us wait for a drink that wasn’t available and the alternate ‘they suggested‘ wasn’t available either! There’s really lot of room for improvement.

Terrible experience!!! - Poor food; Poor staffing; Zero service! - No available food items from menu, simple reply "We don't have that" - Dirty tables and floors - No I will not go back and nor will I ever recommend. Actually 0 stars are applicable!!!

It is such a shame ! The worst Anne & Max - service was terrible - the staff seems to be inexperienced and have a bad attitude - some food items not available - they are quiet and no wonder . The place is dirty and run down ! 😡

I ate at Anne and Max's in the mall and was very satisfied. Staff is very nice, fast service and tasty food. I had lunch for 2 and the board was well stocked. There are also many vegetarian and vegan options, very nice! Would definitely come here again!

Bad service and dirty tables. The staff ignores the customer, you do not feel welcome here as a customer.

This place deserves zero stars. The place was almost empty, with us there were still 3 tables occupied. The rest of the tables were so dirty with cups and leftovers from the previous guests, everything still had to be cleared. The two ladies were happily chatting at the cash register, not paying attention to the customers and completely in their own world. We had ordered coffee at the cash register but had not yet paid because we indicated that we were going to order some more such as cake, but our order never arrived. We left after waiting for 45 minutes. A few tables next to us there was a group of about 8 people, almost near the toilet, they sat there longer than we were there. And after a while, two men from the group came with 5 fries, milkshakes and hamburgers from the snack bar outside. We didn't know what we saw!! They ate their fries and snacks at Anne & Max's, and that was not noticed by the two ladies at the counter either. On second thought, I recommend everyone to bring your own drinks and stretch your legs in the empty Anne & Max, as there is no attention for the customer. This was on Saturday, November 23, 2024 around 4:30 PM, where the entire mall was overcrowded and all catering establishments were fully occupied, Anne & Max remained completely empty. And I understand that too. I go to many places, but I have never experienced this before. My husband and I were still talking about it, the most beautiful and largest store was completely empty, what beautiful things could you have put there and what was done with it? Hopefully the location will soon be taken over by an entrepreneur who knows his stuff and where the customer is king, just like in the rest of the Mall.

I find the place very chaotic and super slow waiters. It took like 10minutes to clean a table from a previous client before i could take a sit. Nice location and services could improve. Cafe Latte tasted OK and good price!

Lovely cafe to grab a coffee in between shopping at the mall of netherlands. The service is attentive and food comes out pretty quick. The food is good except the quantities are snacky. Fitting for an in between meal sort of meal not a breakfast really. The granola and yoghurt was amazing. Eggs were ok and the bacon just felt too little :-) always does. The restaurant has great space and many seating spaces so doesnt feel cramped but good seating options. Menu options are a little limited but they have regular pastries for a coffee etc. And because it isn’t necessarily a meal, i wont fault their options. They have mid afternoon bitings also. Overall a place to go to often.

Unfortunately bad experience, lunch was served without cutlery, ficcacia with cheese. Tasted little cheese. Toilets were out of use and we had to go to the hall around the corner. Sorry never again!!! Two lunch dishes that were on the menu were not there

Nice lunch, nice tent and facilities for children; play area, high chairs, children's menu.

Half of the card was “gone”. Had to wait a long time for the food. Focaccia sandwich (€12.5) was only half melted. Meanwhile, our son's food was not included. “Would come soon.” After we had finished our food we asked again. “Really coming, what soup did you have again? Oh, it's gone." Apparently all normal?

My date and I thought we would enjoy a delicious iced coffee here. The place itself was not really clean. The benches were covered in dust and the table was not clean either. The iced coffee was served in a small picardy glass with ice cubes. Ale, served, we were given a glass bottle that we had to add to the glass ourselves. My date ordered the same thing, but his bottle was a different color and the strongest one was very different from mine. The bottles can be purchased for €1.50 on bol.com, we paid €4.50 per bottle. It was undrinkable, worst iced coffee in my life. The toilets were not clean and you had to throw away the paper towels in a waste bin next to the toilet, which you also had to open with your hands... gross. When we wanted to pay, we had to wait a long time. There was no bell or employee anywhere. In the meantime I could easily see how gross and dirty the coffee maker was... and the rest of the ''kitchen''.... When the employee finally arrived, she politely asked if we had been waiting long. Fortunately, we were treated kindly at the cash register (not when serving). She said she was all alone. This worried me greatly. When I asked where a manager was, he turned out to be on vacation. There wasn't enough staff, so leave your staff alone! What if something happens??? The employee kindly indicated that she could handle it alone, but then again, this is not even legally allowed... In short: Worst iced coffee, shop and toilet dirty. Bad service, and expensive costs.
