I love their carrot cake its 10/10

Great location for a DE-cafe inside “The Mall of The Netherlands”. The setting and vibe is great! The crew is friendly, helpful and proactive. I always order the DE-special “Coconut dream”, which is a cappuccino with coconut syrup and whipped cream. It’s a great way to start and/or end my workday! They have different kind of pastries as well, vegan options are available. There are plenty of seats available, depending on the time of day. Oh and don’t forget to ask for their stamp card!

Price-quality is not quite right. 17 euros for 2 iced coffees, 1 muffin and a small piece of butter cake. It's a shame that it isn't mentioned that there is food in the butter cake. You can enjoy people watching here, but the space is very open and therefore somewhat uncomfortable. The relaxed chairs are just filthy, so many stains.

You can't get filter coffee here. This is possible at the other 2 specialty coffee shops in the Mall (Coffeecompanee and Starbucks). It would be a small effort to install a Senseo machine. Unfiltered coffee from the espresso machine is bad for people with high cholesterol.

Today on February 12, I experienced something that I have never experienced before. I'm going for a drink with my pregnant sister, my sister orders a juice that she has drunk before and liked. She ordered it again today and it was undrinkable. She walks to the employees and indicates that it is not tasty and that she really cannot drink it. She asks if she can get a new one or choose another one. The manager (or so she introduced herself) indicated that the taste of a new one would be the same and that she would have to pay for another one again. Of course my sister does not agree with this and says that she knows what the juice should taste like as she has drunk it before, but the manager did not listen to that. She was super rude and not customer friendly, she even indicated that she had to leave because she would not get a refund either. And then she was threatened that if she didn't leave, she would call security. The lady thought that if she threatens security, you as a customer are waiving your rights? In any case, I then started to take over, because firstly I don't agree with how she treated my sister, but secondly: how can you even misbehave so towards a pregnant woman? I don't know what country the manager is from where it is normal for her to yell at a customer to get out, but hopefully she will soon learn that that is not the norm here. Once security was involved, they didn't understand why it had to escalate, because she suddenly admitted that she actually had to give money back to a dissatisfied customer... Well next time I'll give it a wide berth and Douwe Egberts can ask questions and see how apparently the manager deals with customers. When returning the €5.95 for the juice, the manager felt it necessary to give the 95 cents back all in 5 cents, probably so that it is "annoying" for us. I just think it was annoying for her since she didn't have 5 cents left. I immediately returned it to the next store I walked into, and they were very happy with it. Anyway, that already shows the level of this manager who felt it necessary to harass a pregnant woman today. I don't think the lady is fully integrated yet, because she will again encounter the wrong person here in the Netherlands with that behavior. Very nice that the security guard was able to take action against this kind of disrespectful people who think they can deal with customers who are also within their rights.

A coffee break in the heart of a large shopping center like Leidschendam is always a great way to catch your breath. Between the hubbub of the shops and the hustle and bustle of passers-by, stopping to enjoy a coffee allows you to refocus and recharge your batteries before continuing your shopping. Nothing like it to recharge the batteries!

The place is great but the plates, namely the ones for sweets, are very dirty. The impression is that they are simply not washed. Frankly, it is not very pleasant to eat sweets from dirty dishes.

I literally had to indicate five times what exactly I ordered. Staff are too busy with peripheral matters, after all, guests only have to pay.

The employee has no manners and does not know how to deal with customers. He expels the customer and his manner is uncivilized. He treats the customer in an angry manner that makes the customer not want to return to the same place again. I am talking about cafe douwe egberts Westfield Ladies Skhidam.

They have very nice and good staff. It's too crowded. They have delicious products. I've had coffee at other places around, but this place is better.

There were 4 employees clearing away glasses, etc., I had to wait a long time before I was helped, perhaps because there was only one customer? Ordered four products, two went wrong: I ordered Coconut Dream, but it contained no coconut. Partner had, among other things, the apple pie with extra whipped cream worth one euro (!), which they had also forgotten. This for such a fairly expensive tent, you expect a little more from it. And what I often read here in the reviews that it is not very clean, that is true. This was the third time we have been here, but now it is really the last time. There is also a coffee shop a little further, we will go there next time.

Super friendly staff who also welcome you. Have had coffee here several times now and was very satisfied today. Received a beautiful cappuccino art work by a Dutch-speaking blonde lady.

I am always very satisfied with DE. But not right now 😉. This coffee bar closes at 8 p.m. When I arrive at 7:45 PM, they say they are closed. Clean up quickly and send customers away so you can go home on time. That's how I feel. Unfortunately, this is why I am writing this bad review.

1-10 A very special coffee corner. The coffee and pastries are of good quality. There is no service. The charm of this place lies in the fact that the refreshments can be enjoyed amidst the traffic in one of the corridors of the Mall, creating a dynamic experience.

Onvriendelijk personeel. Koffie is wel goed, maar dat ligt aan de producten en niet aan de kinders achter de kassa.

Altijd hele vriendelijke mensen en heerlijke ijskoffie die niet kapot gegooid is met suiker.

Goeie en lekkere koffie voordat we gingen winkelen.

Voor een lekker bakkie koffie en de speciale koffie is hier heel lekker en niet zo duur als bij een ander merk. Dus een aanrader.

Redelijke koffie, je moet er alleen lang op wachten. Prijzen zijn ook stevig

5 man/vrouw aan het werk, maar het was er ronduit smerig: tafels met plassen koffie/drank, vieze bankzitting (die ik zelf heb schoongemaakt) en zelfs de menukaart (ik heb 'm dus niet aangeraakt) blonk van de vuiligheid. Ook een overvolle uitpuilende prullenbak, waar niks meer bij kon. ☕️☕️☕️ Kijk, ik vind het a-sociaal dat je niet even je gebruikte serviesgoed weg zet, maar los daarvan mag het personeel best inzetten op een schone koffiebar. En dat doen ze duidelijk niet. Jammer.

Wij komen regelmatig bij u lekkere capuchino drinken. Vriendelijk personeel.Mag alleen vaak bij sommigen wat professioneler . Spaarkaart ook top maar word niet veel gepromoot. Maar mijn opmerking is dat het vaak een beetje smoezelig is .De 2 ronde kleedjes bij de lage stoeltjes zijn zeer zeer smerig.Kan je soep van koken. Naast de zitjes aan het einde bij de planten in de ronding ligt dikke laag stof. Vaak tafels en tafelpoten smerig.En nog op veel meer plekken als je kritisch binnen en buiten kijkt..M.a.w.leuke koffie winkel maar naar de hygiëne moet eens kritisch gekeken worden.

Prima koffie en vriendelijke behulpzame bediening. Ik vind winkelcentrum zelf erg ongezellig, te groot, druk en vies. Dit terras ligt open in winkelcentrum en je zit tussen de lopende shoppers.

Gezellige koffiehoek voor een rust moment tijdens winkelen. Heerlijke koffie gedronken en niets gegeten. Na afloop ook iets genomen. Het is een adres om nog eens langs te gaan.

Nice place to relax at the mal, also for reading a book, or using your laptop/electronics. The service is friendly and good.

Goede cappuccino, voor mijn man met een extra shot. Heerlijke verse gevulde koek. Een gezellig zitje om even uit te pauzeren tijdens het winkelen.

Personeel vriendelijk, niet gezellig zitten, en de tostinisch waren een warme onsmakelijke hap!

Best vreemd 15 euro betalen voor 3 koffie, maar dan niet bediend worden aan tafel.

Deze plek ligt midden in de shopping zone en volgens mij is de bedoeling dat jij even kort uitrust. De tocht is real... dan maar zitten met je jas aan .Dus na de koffie/thee met wat lekkers, ga je weer verder. Wat opvalt is de rekening € 18.60 voor 2 x taart en 2 x thee...
