Nice restaurant, delicious food at a reasonable price, and friendly service!

I come here as often as I can for a good cup of coffee to go. Sometimes I have lunch with my wife and children. The terrace is lovely, and inside you sit in a living room atmosphere. Tasty food and good cakes and snacks. The service is top-notch. Correct, professional, but also relaxed. The owners and staff certainly have a passion for the business. You notice that immediately.

Visited the restaurant many times as it was convenient with my toddler. The owner was there one morning over a weekend and he is by far the most helpful and friendly. Some of the girls working there are so unfriendly and plainly rude. I’m giving the feedback because the owner (is a nice man) deserves the chance to speak to his staff.

Had a great first experience in Eindhoven. The server was very sweet and helpful. The special edition salted caramel cold brew was a delight !! We loved the focaccia omelet too!! Overall much recommended!! Loads of veggie options too 🥳

We walked past here several times because we lived in the neighborhood and there were always people sitting inside and outside. However, we never actually got around to visiting, until today. All in all, the entire experience was okay. The atmosphere is fine and cozy; there is nothing to complain about there. The service was also fine. We were greeted politely and kindly and genuinely helped by the staff, which was very pleasant. Unfortunately, that changed a bit when we indicated at the checkout that we wanted to share some feedback about the food. That was not really received with much interest. When we shared our feedback, we were told that the person behind the counter couldn't do anything with it and that nothing could be done with the feedback either, because it was handled by head office. That was quite disappointing to hear. Then the food. Fair is fair: the food looks good and the presentation is nicely done. Unfortunately, the taste tells a different story. That was quite disappointing, and the portion wasn't exactly large either. All in all, the taste, the portion size, and the price made the experience quite disappointing.

The food was really not tasty. I ordered chicken bowl and the ingredients in it didn't taste fresh. My partner ordered a club sandwich and also same experience. They had an interesting sour and pale taste which wasn't pleasent and that's how I didn't eat even half of the bowl. The service was also really disappointing as well. We expressed our feedback and it seemed very much like that they don't want to do anything with it and we were also told that _I can't do anything about it_. Unfortunately we expected more of this place and got disappointed by the experience. I hope it can be looked into and improved.

We thoroughly enjoyed a High Tea. In addition to tea in the warm weather, we were also served a delicious glass of iced tea. The food, both savory and sweet, was very tasty. The lovely service is worth an extra star!

I visited this café to get a takeaway coffee, and I was welcomed by a young girl who was incredibly sweet, friendly, and genuinely trying her best. I asked for a coffee with lactose-free milk. She started explaining the different options they had but forgot to mention one. At that point, an older colleague interrupted her and, in a very harsh and condescending tone, listed all the milk alternatives (soy, almond, etc.). When I kindly repeated that I wanted lactose-free milk, the older lady again spoke to the young girl in a loud, rude manner instead of helping her respectfully. To avoid making the situation even more uncomfortable for the young employee, I just said I would have soy milk. She seemed so nervous after being spoken to like that that she even made a mistake with the bill. Bless her she was just doing her best. While I was waiting for my coffee, the older employee prepared it. The young girl stepped away, and the older employee began speaking negatively about her to other colleagues, assuming I wouldn’t understand Dutch. That was very uncomfortable to witness. When my coffee was ready, I asked if they had brown sugar, and she replied in a very rude tone to me that they didn’t. I found this behavior completely unacceptable, not only towards customers but, more importantly, towards a younger colleague who was clearly trying her best. Experienced staff should lead by example by supporting and teaching newer employees with patience and kindness, not by humiliating them in front of customers and coworkers. The young employee was lovely and deserves recognition for remaining polite throughout the interaction. I hope management addresses this, as no one should have to work in that kind of environment. PD: I would advise to the older lady that she also starts looking for what lactose free milk is. Is not soy milk or almond, it’s simply lactose free normal milk (she seemed like she didn’t know what it was), since she works in a coffee bar this should be basic knowledge. We are all learning in life and we are all allowed to make mistakes!

We had “breakfast for 3” for 3 people. A delicious variety of tasty food with super friendly and fast service. The egg that was supposed to be included is missing from the photo. 😆

Had lunch yesterday. Ordered Ras el Club and Yacht Club. There was hardly anything grilled in the Ras el Club, and certainly nothing fresh. It also seemed to come from a jar. Tasteless. They forgot the hot smoked salmon on the Yacht Club, or they must mean the tasteless spread, in which you can find a tiny sliver of salmon after looking closely, and which was spread on the bread as a base. They probably serve good dishes, but this was really below par. Wim

I used to like this place and go for an occational coffee since it's in my neighbourhood. However, the last time I went to have some food, I was treated really disrespectfully by the manager. I was at the toilet and she came banging the door of the toilet and demanding that I get out of the toilet as soon as possible. When I complained about the disrespectful behavior they refused to serve me any further, while the correct thing to do was to offer an apology. As a result my mood got ruined and didn't want to stay any longer at this place. Therefore, I paid my bill and went to another restaurant nearby to have a beer. The way I was treated is unacceptable for the standards of the hospitality industry. Given the disrespectful way I was treated as a customer I am not planning to go to this place ever again. I prefer to spend my money at other places.

I liked the atmosphere and the food is very fresh, but in my opinion, they have a limited selection of lunch options. Perhaps they need more variety in pizza, pasta, or snacks. It's ideal for breakfast or an afternoon snack. The prices are high, in line with the Dutch economy: a croissant is €3, a slice of lemon pudding is €4, which, by the way, I didn't like. I recommend the salads and the focaccia sandwiches!

We had a lovely time on the terrace today with coffee and cake. The only downside was that we had both just finished when the waitress came to ask if we wanted anything else to drink. Our answer was no; I had just finished the last sip. The table was cleared immediately, taking the empty cups and plates with them. So there you are, sitting at an empty table after only fifteen minutes. That feels so awkward; you just don't stay at an empty table. So we just left. Tip: just leave it there for a bit; we definitely would have ordered something later.

Came here for brunch with a group of four friends and had a really great experience. The service was super friendly and impressively quick, we didn’t have to wait at all. The food was amazing. I had the chicken bowl, which was fresh, flavorful, and very satisfying. I also ordered a matcha, and it was perfectly balanced and really well made, not too sweet or bitter. The prices are very fair for the quality and portions you get. Overall, great atmosphere, great food, and excellent service. Definitely a brunch spot I’d come back to.

Had a cappuccino outside with a very tasty slice of chocolate (brownie) topped with chopped raspberries. Served by a very friendly waitress (employee 🤭). That's how you keep your customers, of course. Really nice. She even came over to ask how it tasted, as it was hard to find in the assortment. €9 isn't exactly cheap, but with this service, it makes sense 😀

Nice place. Friendly ladies. The coffee was good and the pistachio croissant delicious. I fear the worst that the Miffy pastry came from the freezer. Truly tasteless. Only order fresh products! You can taste the difference!

No idea how they prepare eggs here. It looks nice, but it really has absolutely no taste. It tastes like an egg substitute or something similar. This is the most tasteless egg I have ever had. Do not order!

Nice fresh focaccia and lentil soup. Sourbread club sandwitch was somewhat bland and didn’t rock my socks. Creamy raspberry cheesecake for dessert was a real banger.

Went here for the first time today. What can I say? Just one of the many places selling matcha and cheesecake, etc. I didn't find anything particularly distinctive in terms of menu or decor. I do have to say, though, that I was relieved that only Dutch women worked there. Finally, I don't have to speak English again because they wouldn't understand otherwise.

I went for breakfast on a friend's recommendation. The service was very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the breakfast menu was nothing special. The scrambled eggs and bacon were tasteless. The only thing I enjoyed was the croissant.

I gave two stars because, while the food and coffee are truly awesome, I left feeling annoyed. When I tried to drink from my own water bottle, I was told I couldn’t bring drinks inside. I explained it was just my personal water (I like to stay hydrated), but the staff said the only option was tap water if I ordered coffee or wine. That policy really ruined the experience for me, even though everything else tasted great. I understand the policy, but what I found confusing is that I was actually allowed to have tap water once I ordered coffee — which is completely fine — but then not allowed to drink from my own water bottle. It doesn’t really make much difference, since both are just water, and I had already ordered coffee, juice, and food. So it felt a bit unnecessary to be told off for drinking my own water, even though everything else about the place was great.

Caprese croissant was tasty, but service was sooo slow. We waited half an hour for the croissant. They served coffee first and we had to finish it until they serve the croissant. Place is pretty and a good choice for breakfast.

We were in Eindhoven last weekend and for one of the breakfast we end up in this lovely place. The staff is very welcome and smiling, we tried two plates which were delicious and I loved that the cappucino with oat milk has discount of 5 cents. There were many people but the place is very spacious and it's a place well equipped for children too. I would recommended it!

Their desserts are generally delicious. Their coffee is good. It's fast.

Nice place, really enjoyed the service and food. For us it was not clear why you need to separate breakfast, lunch and dinner menus if you can serve them at any time. I would suggest to add ham and cheese croissan to the menu as well.

Ordered vegan high tea from Anne and Max, really delicious! Super tasty and very cheerful delivery. Eating on site is also very pleasant.

We were looking for breakfast and saw this fantastic place. We ordered breakfast for two, and it was truly luxurious and delicious. Highly recommended. It was €100 for five people, but that won't spoil the fun, right? So, the same as the best breakfast ever!

Today we ate at Anne & Max, with 3 friends. We got a table quickly and the service was fast. The food for me personally was tasty, but the hospitality was far from being found. Both with the drinks and the food of a friend something went wrong. This can of course happen, but the reaction to this was not professional at all. We calmly indicated what was wrong and whether they could do something about it. Both times we were blamed by the service, "it was our fault". We were missing parts of the dish, the dish did not match the ingredients in the photo, and was tasteless. We got the wrong drink and only after a discussion we got the right one. When paying we also indicated that it was our fault again. We will not be coming back here.

Nice place with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee was very good and there are vegetarian options available, which I appreciate. We came for brunch for two (€36), but unfortunately found it not in proportion to the price. The portions were small: a small bowl of salad, a small omelette (while we had asked for a vegan version - strange that there was egg in it), some coconut flakes as "vegan bacon", two slices of tomato and two half pieces of cheese. There was a lot of bread served, but that is personally not really my thing. Next time I would rather choose something else from the menu, for example a salad.

I have been to this cafe 3 years ago and it was everything amazing, service and food. I was disappointed today as the service was not ip to what i have experienced in the past. I had to ask 2 times for milk next to my coffee and it never arrived. Also we ordered 2 waters and they brought only one, late service and very amateuristisch. Food was good although overpriced due to location, expected.

Staff was very nice. We ordered both from them and via the QR code. Everything went very smoothly. Even after ordering via the QR code, they asked some extra questions to ensure that the order would arrive correctly. The caprese croissant was very tasty, just not enough. Fortunately, they still have so many goodies on the menu that I ordered another cake afterwards!

We went to eat sandwiches, although I can't remember their names, we ate the Italian one and the chicken one with focacia joints. I liked both of them, the Italian one was cold, the one with chicken was hot. The beers were also good, my friend liked the one with coriander (there is no picture), the citrus blonde looked a bit like a blue moon. I haven't come across this beer much elsewhere, but they said it was only available in some markets.

The food was plain. Some tasteless eggs and 2 slices of what they called "sourdough" bread, but actually is basic bread that you find in any market, with very little hummus and some kind of pepper spread. It was surprising that the food came faster than the coffee, though.

Useless rude help, wanted to order, was told that it was online, when I said that I did not go to a terrace. I went to order online, I was always told that there was also a paper version for digital people, coffee was half lukewarm, half weak, far too expensive and rude

We ate a delicious breakfast here on the Sunday morning. I was glad I made a reservation because it was very full. It's so nice not to be sitting in an empty restaurant! I had put in the reservation that it was our children's birthday that day and they came to serve breakfast with fireworks, very thoughtful. Definitely worth repeating, not just on birthdays 😉

Came here last minute for lunch, the staff was super friendly, they were helped quickly, I had a fresh ice tea, my friend had a cappuccino with oat milk, then we opted for a lunch board with 2, everything was super fresh and delicious and very sufficient! It was very tasty, we will definitely come back!

A beautiful restaurant with a very special charm! The ambience is simply wonderful - stylishly decorated with great attention to detail and an artistic touch that makes the whole restaurant unique. The dishes are prepared with heart and love, you can taste it straight away. A real family business where hospitality is very important - we felt at home from the first moment. Everything is just right here: great atmosphere, delicious food and incredibly friendly service. We always enjoy coming back and can only recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Very nice place. We had reserved a large table with colleagues and everyone was very enthusiastic about the food, the atmosphere and the service. Mr. Max took the order of 7 people from memory, everyone took something different, and everything was correct afterwards. How does he do that?
