Thank you for being on "Too Good to Go"—that's how I first discovered your products. It's great to see a business that is so responsible and sustainable. I was beginning to lose hope of finding good pastries in Eindhoven, so I was thrilled to finally try some of yours. They aren't packed with sugar and margarine; I can actually taste the high-quality ingredients, and that's exactly what I've been looking for. I tried three different treats today, and I would gladly buy all of them again. I can't wait to visit the shop in person and try your coffee, too. I also really appreciate how you respond to reviews. It's rare to see a business be so honest, accept feedback, and show a genuine passion for what they do. It feels like there's a real human on the other side. Hugs!

A very relaxed place for breakfast, coffee, and cake. You can relax in comfortable armchairs inside or watch the hustle and bustle outside. Delicious and pleasant atmosphere.

Ordered vegan high tea from Anne and Max, really delicious! Super tasty and very cheerful delivery. Eating on site is also very pleasant.

We were looking for breakfast and saw this fantastic place. We ordered breakfast for two, and it was truly luxurious and delicious. Highly recommended. It was €100 for five people, but that won't spoil the fun, right? So, the same as the best breakfast ever!

Wonderful, and their coffee today is legendary. For breakfast, I had the same pancakes with fruit and tried the egg croissant, and they were all delicious.

Today we ate at Anne & Max, with 3 friends. We got a table quickly and the service was fast. The food for me personally was tasty, but the hospitality was far from being found. Both with the drinks and the food of a friend something went wrong. This can of course happen, but the reaction to this was not professional at all. We calmly indicated what was wrong and whether they could do something about it. Both times we were blamed by the service, "it was our fault". We were missing parts of the dish, the dish did not match the ingredients in the photo, and was tasteless. We got the wrong drink and only after a discussion we got the right one. When paying we also indicated that it was our fault again. We will not be coming back here.

Nice place with a nice atmosphere and friendly staff. The coffee was very good and there are vegetarian options available, which I appreciate. We came for brunch for two (€36), but unfortunately found it not in proportion to the price. The portions were small: a small bowl of salad, a small omelette (while we had asked for a vegan version - strange that there was egg in it), some coconut flakes as "vegan bacon", two slices of tomato and two half pieces of cheese. There was a lot of bread served, but that is personally not really my thing. Next time I would rather choose something else from the menu, for example a salad.

I have been to this cafe 3 years ago and it was everything amazing, service and food. I was disappointed today as the service was not ip to what i have experienced in the past. I had to ask 2 times for milk next to my coffee and it never arrived. Also we ordered 2 waters and they brought only one, late service and very amateuristisch. Food was good although overpriced due to location, expected.

Anne & Max is a great spot to meet with friends, get some work done, or just enjoy a quiet moment with good food and even better coffee. Highly recommended if you’re in the center of Eindhoven!

Staff was very nice. We ordered both from them and via the QR code. Everything went very smoothly. Even after ordering via the QR code, they asked some extra questions to ensure that the order would arrive correctly. The caprese croissant was very tasty, just not enough. Fortunately, they still have so many goodies on the menu that I ordered another cake afterwards!

We went to eat sandwiches, although I can't remember their names, we ate the Italian one and the chicken one with focacia joints. I liked both of them, the Italian one was cold, the one with chicken was hot. The beers were also good, my friend liked the one with coriander (there is no picture), the citrus blonde looked a bit like a blue moon. I haven't come across this beer much elsewhere, but they said it was only available in some markets.

The food was plain. Some tasteless eggs and 2 slices of what they called "sourdough" bread, but actually is basic bread that you find in any market, with very little hummus and some kind of pepper spread. It was surprising that the food came faster than the coffee, though.

Useless rude help, wanted to order, was told that it was online, when I said that I did not go to a terrace. I went to order online, I was always told that there was also a paper version for digital people, coffee was half lukewarm, half weak, far too expensive and rude

We ate a delicious breakfast here on the Sunday morning. I was glad I made a reservation because it was very full. It's so nice not to be sitting in an empty restaurant! I had put in the reservation that it was our children's birthday that day and they came to serve breakfast with fireworks, very thoughtful. Definitely worth repeating, not just on birthdays 😉

Everything was perfect. We came for breakfast on a Thursday morning and enjoyed a cosy spot and an enormous 2 Person breakfast. Thanks for a lovely stay, it won't be our last time :)

Came here last minute for lunch, the staff was super friendly, they were helped quickly, I had a fresh ice tea, my friend had a cappuccino with oat milk, then we opted for a lunch board with 2, everything was super fresh and delicious and very sufficient! It was very tasty, we will definitely come back!

A beautiful restaurant with a very special charm! The ambience is simply wonderful - stylishly decorated with great attention to detail and an artistic touch that makes the whole restaurant unique. The dishes are prepared with heart and love, you can taste it straight away. A real family business where hospitality is very important - we felt at home from the first moment. Everything is just right here: great atmosphere, delicious food and incredibly friendly service. We always enjoy coming back and can only recommend this wonderful restaurant!

Very nice place. We had reserved a large table with colleagues and everyone was very enthusiastic about the food, the atmosphere and the service. Mr. Max took the order of 7 people from memory, everyone took something different, and everything was correct afterwards. How does he do that?

Nice tent, first time here. Had a nice meal with the children. Parking space around the corner. Price is a bit higher than expected but that is not a problem for us. We will definitely come back soon.

Didn't have a pleasant experience with Anne&Max. There are no menus on the tables, but QR codes, which is fine. We were about to place the order when someone from the front desk came to ask what we wanted to drink. So it was a bit confusing as to what the intention was, should you order via the QR code or not. Using the code I couldn't find that they had coke, only a homemade coke was on the menu. Later it turned out that they did have Coca Cola Zera, which was a bit confusing. I ordered the Club Italy and a minute after they took my order she asked if I wanted ham on it. Because it was very loud and noisy in the shop, I interpreted it as 'we no longer have a certain ingredient, is raw ham also good'? Yes, that's fine too. Later it turned out on the bill that I had to pay extra for this. The exact same thing happened to my tablemate. So ingredients are added in the most devious way, for which you had to pay extra. My sandwich wasn't tasty either. Dripping with oil.. so I wanted to wash my hands in the toilet, which was a bit difficult because it is really very dark there😂🙈 Well unfortunately, first and last time Anne and Max for me.

I went here for breakfast with two girlfriends. It was pleasantly busy on a Saturday morning, so making a reservation is a good idea. We opted for the breakfast platter. This was certainly enough. The food was tasty. Not super special, but good breakfast. The coffee was also tasty and the staff was friendly. There were many families with small children and there was also a play corner for them. It was very atmospheric inside. Definitely recommended.

Waited for quite some time but no waiter approached us to bring a menu or take an order. We clearly indicated that we would like to order.

Anne & Max is a good place for lunch in Eindhoven, the terrace is on the small mountain. This is a very pleasant street. There is a diverse range of drinks, I think they specialize in coffee but I had one of the few specialty beers on the menu. For dinner I had focaccia with pulled pork, with the option of with or without cheese. I chose the option without cheese, and it was really delicious! Good experience, definitely recommended for lunch. The staff spoke both Dutch and English.

I have used it many times! The chai latte here is delicious. A gentle sweet and comforting taste. If you don't like sweet drinks, coffee might be a good option. Cappuccino is also delicious. There is a wide variety of cakes and baked goods, and it is always fun to choose ♡

We had breakfast with beaten egg and bread with spread. All three of us didn't eat our egg because it looked like the fake egg was made from a carton. Not to eat. Bread with spread was okay, but very bland and not toasted.

It’s a very cozy cafe/restaurant in kleine berg. We had a breakfast set which included a drink, croissant, scrambled egg with salmon and yogurt. And a lunch set which had lentil soup and salad. Both were delicious and interesting combinations.

Nice cafe with super sweet employees. Coffee was very tasty, but unfortunately I didn't think the pastries were fresh. It has a small play area for small children. Also a nice date place for moms with young children☺️ it has a very nicely decorated corner with a larger table for working or sitting at the table with several friends.

This really is such a nice spot in the middle of the city! Whether you go for a cup of coffee in the morning because the day started too early, or you sit down on the terrace with friends in the afternoon for a delicious lunch, you will always be welcomed with open arms. The snacks and drinks are delicious. Delicious and often healthy too! A boost for body and mind. Top!

Had a delicious Mezze with a nice fresh ginger drink

Last year, when I was 9 month pregnant, we went here for breakfast. As you can see in the photo, the lid of the yogurt jar was broken but I didn’t notice at first. However, I assume that they had to realize it before serving to the customer. when I had my first bite, I had glasses in my mouth. I just ran to the toilet and threw up. With all the hormones, I just burst into the tears and didn’t want to stay even a second longer. It was one of the worst memories of my pregnancy. I don’t recommend it at all.

Was there for for afternoon High Tea. They have a vegetarian version as well and really liked the selection of sandwiches and breads. Everything was well arranged. Service was bit slow but staff was polite.

Used to visit this cafe often 4 years back when we lived to this place close by. Located in the happening street of klieneberg what I love about this cafe is the option of breakfast for 2 / lunch for 2 on the days when u don't want to go through the menu card to place order. This review is about my recent visit to this cafe. Some things that changed and I loved. First is that now u just need to scan the qr code and place the order of what you want and then the order is quickly served and you need to pay with the employee. Second change is the play area under the stairs. I think its a nice addition to this cafe, next time I m in the city I know where to go with my kid for a coffee. Yesterday we ordered our good old favourite lunch for 2 which has breads, spreads, scrambled eggs, salad and juice. Besides we ordered cauliflower salad (which was ok!) Coffee as usual is good.

I used to like this place and go for an occational coffee since it's in my neighbourhood. However, the last time I went to have some food, I was treated really disrespectfully by the manager. I was at the toilet and she came banging the door of the toilet and demanding that I get out of the toilet as soon as possible. When I complained about the disrespectful behavior they refused to serve me any further, while the correct thing to do was to offer an apology. As a result my mood got ruined and didn't want to stay any longer at this place. Therefore, I paid my bill and went to another restaurant nearby to have a beer. The way I was treated is unacceptable for the standards of the hospitality industry. Given the disrespectful way I was treated as a customer I am not planning to go to this place ever again. I prefer to spend my money at other places.

Very nice atmosphere in the center of Eindhoven. The dishes are tasty but also rather standard. As is usual in all cafés and restaurants: the lack of staff does not rule out longer waiting times

We had a reservation for 3 people at 14:30, which all went well. However, the ambiance is very loud. While the aesthetics of the place are good, the sound carries all the way through the downstairs section of the venue and if you have sensory issues, i would recommend asking for a table up stairs. The drinks and food are very nice. The wait staff somewhat rudely referred us to the QR code when we asked for a menu. We prefer a physical menu and on top of that, the QR code didn’t work. Eventually we got paper menus. Lastly, it took a very long time for them to come take our order. In the end we left before ordering food and went somewhere else. This place is good, but not if you are impatient and have sensory issues!

We had made a reservation but were tucked away in a corner somewhere. My chicken sandwich was very disappointing (very dry/little toppings). And then got sick from the food! The restaurant itself does little with this feedback, which is why a negative review was posted. Update. I cannot respond to the comment below, but this incident happened more than 2.5 weeks ago. Even after the podt below, no email was received back! Head office has still marked it as urgent. Doesn't make the story any better.

We had a soup for 9 euros and I think there was maximum 100 ml of soup. Also a ‘roerei’ which was very diluted with water, with little flavor and some dried out pieces of salmon. Very dissatisfied. When we shared it to the staff they could not care less. They said: “next time it will be better”…. But there will be no next time.

Food tasted good. Delicious coffee and lemonade. Portions are meager, especially compared to the photos on the menu (especially Anne's wat). The staff were all very young and inexperienced, and were often trying to figure out which table the order belonged to. Coffees took a long time.

Anne and Max remain nice. The cappuccino with oat milk is great, really worth a 10. We ordered 2 with oat milk, then the same again, but accidentally got one with cow's milk. It wasn't difficult at all and 2 new ones were on the table within 2 minutes. Lots of vegan options too, and they were all very tasty. The atmosphere is also good and cozy and the acoustics too (no noise from grinding coffee bean machines etc. or loud kitchen noises, which is really bad at some eateries) and the tables are fairly close together, so you still have your privacy and can hear the person sitting next to you. don't understand, fine. Service is also super friendly. I can't get used to making reservations, there is hardly any chicken and they still have to see where you can sit because everything has been reserved. I think that's a shame, I think this is more of a place to just walk in spontaneously. I think they are also losing customers because of this. But we'll keep coming, without a reservation ;)

I got a chocolate milk to go twice, got a "large" one on Monday for 3.75, today I was allowed to pay 3.90 for a mini cup. So that was the last time. Another impression is that it is a cozy place, and the coffee seems to be good, according to other people. Edit: Mistakes can be made, and this was resolved to your satisfaction afterwards. Based on how I dealt with the problem, I have adjusted the review to what it should be based on that.
