One of the best cafe in the center. Coffee is great. Laptops are welcome, but it can be quite busy even during weekdays.

This time we were in Eindhoven and decided to have lunch at Lunchroom 1nul1, a place my wife had been to many times and where it's always delicious. And that was absolutely right. It's a small, cozy, no-frills place: everything is white, with simple tables and chairs. The food was delicious. I had a spicy hummus sandwich with avocado and egg, which I highly recommend. The others opted for matcha pancakes. The carpaccio sandwich could have used a bit more salt and pepper, but that's a personal preference. All in all, a great place for breakfast or lunch.

Delicious food for a great price 💚

We ordered fries here through their own website, which works with Butlaroo. When we picked them up, they still hadn't started preparing our order. A bit of a shame. The order hadn't "gotten through," but eventually, they were able to see what we'd ordered... Once there, it turned out they'd run out of onions for my frikandel speciaal, so we went there for a croquette instead. At home, we discovered that the vegetarian and regular croquettes were in the same bag. Our different types of fries were also mixed up. So, the service was rather mediocre. The fries were tasty, but not so much better than a regular chip shop to make it worthwhile.

We had an absolutely delicious meal here!! The four of us had the Shared Dinner, and it was fantastic! The menu says dessert is included, but it also includes appetizers. You really got your money's worth! Everything was delicious! The ambiance is also absolutely fantastic! As "oldies," it made us feel nostalgic: an old rotary phone on every table, beautiful records on the wall, a real telephone switchboard (one of us used to use one!) And it's the details that are so nice: the bill arrived in an old-fashioned phone book! The staff is all, without exception, super friendly. We haven't had such a great time out in a long time!
