My wife and I had a wonderful time at Ali's. It was the best Turkish meal I've had in Europe 🤤

That restaurant is a nightmare. The rice was superdry, the meat and liver compleatly overdone. The best was the bread. For a single kebab with plain bread charging 12 eur is a ripp off. Generally the prices are far too high even if food would be good, but for such a prision canteen style taste it is just a reason to stay far away from here.

The welcome was wonderful, the food was delicious, I was very pleased. Thank you for your efforts, I recommend it to everyone.

We went as a family (2 adults, 2 teenagers) after seeing the high rating on Google. It was very crowded, and they seated us in what seemed like an added section. It was an outdoor area and quite cold, with staff constantly passing through. Despite waiting a long time, no one came to take our order. The same thing happened at the table next to us; they said they wanted service twice but still hadn't received it. In the end, we had to leave without getting any service. Perhaps we happened to be there during a very busy time, but unfortunately, our experience wasn't good.

Great food here and big portions so had to ask for a doggy bag. Had the mixed grill for one and it was so good! Service was quick too and very relaxed atmosphere. Was a little taken aback how expensive it was but quickly realised it was worth it because of the quality of the food and portion sizes!!

My family and I came on Thursday; there were eight of us. We ordered two meals. The meat was grilled professionally, and we will recommend it to our friends. The place was very crowded, and the wait was 40 minutes due to the crowds. I recommend it.

The food was average, but it took a long time to arrive due to the crowds. There was a lot of noise, and the seating area was cramped. The prices were reasonable. The issues of overcrowding and waiting times urgently need to be addressed!

If you want an authentic kebab experience outside of Turkey, you absolutely have to eat here. The Fistikli Kebab is especially recommended.

I ate at Şerifoğlu and it was a wonderful experience. The atmosphere is warm and cozy, exactly what you'd expect from a traditional Turkish restaurant. The food was fresh, well-seasoned, and beautifully presented. The baklava and Turkish tea were especially fantastic.

The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious. It's just a shame that it usually takes a little longer than others to get your food, even on less busy days. Otherwise, everything is great.

What a disgraceful place. A place that plays lvbel 5c loudly and you don't understand what you're eating. I wouldn't go again even if it was free.

We ate chicken wrap and liver wrap, the taste was average but the staff showed zero interest and there was no salt on the table.

The woman who works here looks at me and my girlfriend strangely because, according to her, we're ordering "too much." She has a judgmental look on her face, as if she has to eat it all. Mind you, we're ordering two main courses with a side dish... Then we ask if she can add some tomato to the wrap, and guess what? Those are some big tomatoes in that wrap! Weird that she wants to decide for us what's too much. God forbid a girl is hungry. The food is excellent, though, with good meat.

Three of us dined today. We all ordered Adana, but the meat was rubbery and tasteless. The bulgur pilaf that came with it was cold. We ordered dessert, but it was also very dry and had no syrup. We paid €80, and they even charged us tea separately. The price and quality are simply not commensurate. Unfortunately, we were not satisfied.

I got food poisoning from the chicken breast I ate on the evening of August 16, 2025. It was always delicious, but now I'm even questioning the restaurant's food safety.

I can highly recommend this restaurant! They serve truly excellent kebabs. One of the best I’ve had in Amsterdam. And prices are so reasonable, that I think Antep Kebab offers the best price/quality ratio. We ordered the mixed kebab, and every type of meat was perfectly cooked: flavorful, tender, and not oily or greasy like in many other places. The seasoning was spot on. They also offer a great selection of desserts, all of which were delicious. Service was attentive and friendly, and the place itself was spotless. There are plenty of tables both indoors and outside on the terrace, making it a comfortable spot no matter the weather.

The goose meat was burnt. He didn't apologize for it. The employee doesn't speak German, English, or Dutch. You only have to speak Turkish.

It's truly successful; the flavors are spot-on, the variety is plentiful, and being under Şerifoğlu's roof is a huge plus in terms of desserts. Our brother Muhammed was a great help to us, and I'd also like to mention that. He really did his best, thank you.

Just had an Antep kebab platter with my wife. The kebab was dry and tasteless. I ordered kunefe for dessert. After waiting half an hour, it turned out they'd forgotten to register the order. No apology, no offer of an alternative. Just a very rude "forgot to register." Honestly, it wasn't worth my money. Way too busy, mediocre food, and lousy service.

A very proper meal. Left full and satisfied. Cooked in a traditional manner that really brought out the ethnic flavors one desires. Why 3 stars, it's an open kitchen so the smell of the food sticks strongly to your apparel, the meat is cooked entirely fresh. While eating here I had a specific outfit to wear just for visiting the restaurant. Secondly they do not accept Visa or Mastercard; I couldn't use my Emirates card which was disappointing. If they accepted card and I was staying nearby I'd probably eat here everyday. There is a breakfast which starts at 8am.

Ordered a mixed grill for two people to take away. I opened it at home and sat inside. The food was almost tasteless and not enough for one person. Lots of onions. I paid around €55 for the cook, who wasn't honest and had no experience preparing food! It's a shame for the owner, he's losing a lot of customers because we won't be eating there anymore or taking it away! It's a shame.

Delicious Turkish food, always fresh. The lentil soup and baklava are highly recommended. Friendly service and a neat, clean shop. I'd love to come back. The staff is always friendly.

NOT RECOMMENDED!! Very stingy, so little food and very little bread! It's not even enough for a small child. They charge a premium but give you very little in return, also a long wait, and not a single person speaks Dutch or English. The toilet is dirty, and the restaurant stinks. The woman in the kitchen prepares the peppers and tomatoes with her bare hands and long nails. Extremely disrespectful staff. I pointed out there wasn't enough bread, and she passively aggressively said, "That's what you get."

We came in and were told that the food will take a little longer. We wait 1 hour for the food. We ordered mixed grill for two people. They give more of the wing no lamb chops.. Mix grill without lamb chops is not possible …. Service was ok.

I said hi two times nobody neither acknowledged my presence and more than that I just needed to be seated. No adab. No education. No smile. No Salam. No hi. Ignoring. One can be busy but this is not the way to behave. You have excellent kebab but with no adab I find it difficult to spend my money here anymore.

I had Beyti Kebab. It was delicious. It's a busy place. The service is fast. But a bit pricey. I'll give it a try.

Service was good, fast and the staff are friendly. But the food is really not good, I took a mixed platter for 1 person, the Adana kebab you could bend, was like plastic. The chicken was okay and the kuzu-sis was also very tough and had no taste, the bulgur was okay and the salad was tasty. All in all, € 33.50-, for 1 person is on the expensive side, especially if the food is really so bad. Too bad, no more Serifoglu for me. I also have a stomach ache since yesterday.

My wife and I went to this place for the third time today. It is the best Turkish restaurant we have experienced here. I usually eat beyti, the sauce on it is too much for me, but when you take less sauce it is very good. The raw meatball paste they bring beforehand and the warm bread are very good. We did not like the taste of the rice that came with the meal, we did not understand whether it was because of the oil or the rice was not fresh. My wife ate liver today, it was average. We have tried Adana (good), eggplant kebab (average) and chicken wings (very good) before, we were generally satisfied. The staff is friendly. We also tried their desserts. The pistachio baklava was very good. The trileçe is also good. A place I recommend 👍

Was very special they have the side dishes very tasty as a starter salad ezme cacık very special taste. And the çiğköfte also tasty. Been coming for almost 5 years keep coming..! The Adana kebab..! My favorite. The formula of good food and fresh ingredients..! If I want I sometimes sit outside on the terrace and inside..really recommended..!

Very authentic (you could feel it from the vibes and the whole atmosphere!!), the best turkish food i ever had in Europe hahah. Service was friendly and helpful! Definitely coming back. The desserts with their homemade ice cream are heavenly!!! 🤍

The best kebab in Amsterdam! I imagined myself in Turkey for a moment. We started with mezes and fresh bread: cacık, çiğ köfte and çoban salad – all delicious. The price-quality ratio is also excellent!

Adana kebab was too salty, what the hell?

I've been here a few times now, but it doesn't get any better. The food is mediocre, nothing that sticks with you. The service is downright disappointing: disinterested, distant and purely focused on generating as much turnover as possible. There is not an ounce of warmth or hospitality to be found. The place feels cold and characterless. Everything is about sales, nothing about experience. Definitely not a place you come back for pleasure.

Kebab was good but not the best. Lamb shashlik was better. The restaurant is a bit small and noisy especially in the weekends. They don’t make reservations. If you are lucky enough, you can find a spot. Otherwise, you need to wait for availability.

The grill dishes were delicious!

Enjoyed a well-seasoned and spicy Adana kebab at this restaurant – just as it should be, full of flavor and with a nice kick. The Tavuk Şiş (chicken skewer), on the other hand, was on the dry side, but luckily the spices used made up for it. The tapas/mezze starters were reasonable, nothing special, but fine to start with. What really stood out was the Antep ezmesi – it was on another level, wonderfully fresh, spicy and well balanced. What did stand out was the service. Although it can be understandably busy, the staff could be a little more representative in their dealings. A smile or a little more attention when you ask for something would really improve the overall picture. All in all, definitely worth it for the flavors, especially if you are a fan of spicy grilled dishes - but with some extra attention to service it can be really great. Worth repeating!

The food is not bad, there are many points for improvement. The raw meatballs were very nice, but the wrap bread was very dry, Adana was a very small portion, and the salad in the wrap was overpowering the taste of the meat. I give it 10/7.5, best regards

I've been eating here for years. The service and food were always top notch. Sometimes I come here to pick up, like last Thursday. We had a mix grill for 2 people for €55.-. My husband and I have been vomiting all day after eating the dish. My husband threw up 9 times today. If this becomes a hospital admission for us, you will hear about it! People watch out for the food here! As soon as I know what kind of bacteria and food poisoning my husband and I have contracted, I will post it here

Delicious kebap from Amersfoort

If you go with 4 people, you get appetizers and bread for 2 people. The same amount is served even when you go alone. However, when you run out of bread and appetizers for 4 people, they charge extra for the bread. My advice is to sit at separate tables for 2 people; thus the account is lower. It is useful to specify this when making payment. I think one loaf of bread should be served per person. That's all well and good, but what's the point of charging extra for bread? I have never seen such an application anywhere. If a customer comes extra, you will make more than a profit based on what he paid. As your competitors increase, your customers will decrease,

Good and tasty food. But seriously 6 euros for a portion of potato slices from the freezer? Prices have exploded.
