I have to admit I was pleasantly surprised. The delivery was fast despite the distance, the service was very friendly and communicative, and the food was hot, fresh, and absolutely delicious :D

We ordered a rijsttafel (rice table), which was delivered promptly at the agreed-upon time. Everything was nice and hot, and the food was delicious! The meat was tender and the flavors were wonderful. We had a truly wonderful meal.

I ordered duck meat last night, I only got 5 pieces of a small duck, the rest was salad and something incomprehensible, 50 euros wasted, I cook rice like that at home, the soup was also too salty and awful, I want my money back

Lekker gegeten, vriendelijke en vlotte bediening, maar veel te duur naar ons idee. Daar komt nog bij dat de prijzen in het menu op de website kennelijk in geen jaren zijn aangepast. Daar hadden we wel een beetje op gerekend, maar de Cantonese rijsttafel kost bijvoorbeeld €82,50 i.p.v. 46,50 op de website vermeld. De meeste gerechten kosten bijna het dubbele. Hou daar dus rekening mee.

By far the most lousy Chinese in North Holland. If you have low blood pressure, go here to increase your salt intake. Jozo salt has shares here... Portions are mini and prices are maxi. Gastronomy and customer friendliness are terms they don't know here. You come here as a tourist and are treated like a tourist, in short, not recommended.... Better to go to the snack bar....

Nice vintage restaurant with friendly service. We had a delicious meal.

VRESELIJK! SUPER duur. Bami heel vet (meteen diaree). Ossenhaas met garnalen ging wel, geen hoogstandje. (na verkeerd menu gekregen te hebben en hoop discussie). Geen aardig personeel. Inrichting gaat nergens over. SUPER oud-bollig, niet netjes. 26 euro voor bami pangang met ei is wel heel duur.

The food was ok, you can get it at any Chinese snack bar. For this price, there is a different buffet including 2 drinks.

I thought the price for the food was way too expensive. And there was little taste to the food. We had fried rice with pork satay, fried banana and prawn crackers and 1 beer for a total of €30. Pork satay was dry, fried banana looked really nice but was still white. Seemed to have been taken in and out of the fryer for a while. Certainly not worth repeating.

These people are crazy, charging €14 delivery costs if you order for 60 euros. What a rip-off that I'll never order from here again

Very good restaurant, everything is fresh and you have to wait a little while because whatever you choose, it is prepared directly by the chef using only fresh ingredients.

VERY DISAPPOINTED! the food was not bad, the rice was just too dry and sticky, but I was a fan of their Foe Yong hai, so I regularly ordered food from them via their own website (so they didn't have to compromise on home delivery). Today I wanted to order by telephone and the owner and receptionist tried to scam me by trying to convince me that I have to order at least 35 euros to be able to order at all and on top of that there would be almost 5 euros in delivery costs. THIS IS ABSOLUTELY NOT TRUE. Via their own website the minimum amount to have delivered is from 20 euros (it is clearly stated on their website) and to my address 25 euros. They only use 35 euros as a minimum amount for home deliveries. When I pointed this out, they thought I was crazy and spoke to me very rudely, knowing that I have been ordering there for years and am a regular customer (he actually knew my address by heart). NOT CUSTOMER FRIENDLY AT ALL so I lost a regular customer for a few euros.

Despite our 'crazy' wishes, we received very friendly help. Everything was possible. Very social staff, very friendly. The food was served super quickly and very tasty. Plenty of choice on the menu.

Excellent western Chinese with an Asian twist. I would like to get Chinese food every now and then. For me, that is the optimal comfort food. Ordering is easy and it is delivered quickly. More than enough and great taste. Because it is fairly close for me, this has become my regular Chinese. Instead of the Chinese in our village.

The food was ok, but nothing more, it seemed very listlessly put together. Prices in the restaurant differ upwards from the menu posted (although it was inconspicuously marked as a take-away menu). Service overall moderately friendly, not very accommodating. The atmosphere of the restaurant is like a train station restoration 60 years ago. Drink prices at the threshold. I've been there many times before, but this time was the last visit. Not recommended !

Super quality food. Tender meat and very tasty. We have been ordering from here for 13 years. We cheated once but we'll never do it again.

Ordered online, delivered within half an hour in Alkmaar, The Peking duck in particular was great, wonderfully crispy, the Tjap Toi was also excellent, fresh vegetables. A bit much, but it will add up over the course of the week.

The food was very disappointing for the price you paid for it. €9.25 for extremely tough chicken satay and bland satay sauce. €19.25 for Foe Yong Hai (with small noodles) which tasted mainly of salt. Plus €6 delivery costs. Bami Goreng and Pisang Goreng were okay.

Delicious food, every dish really tasty. It's a shame that snacks such as chicken nuggets can only be ordered after 10 p.m. and are blocked via home delivery until then. My son, who doesn't like Chinese, would have been very happy with chicken nuggets.

Leider können wir uns den Vorrednern nicht anschließen. Der Service war bemüht uns auf Deutsch zu bedienen, allerdings waren diverse Gespräche und Meinungsverschiedenheiten in oder mit der Küche zu vernehmen, was wiederum zu langen Wartezeiten führte. Sind wir ehrlich 30 Minuten bis die Getränke kommen ist letztendlich eine zu lange Zeit. Das Essen war überraschend anders! Wir haben schon bei vielen asiatischen Restaurants gegessen und bestellt. Noch nie gab es Salatgurke im Gericht, das kein Salat war! In unseren beiden Gerichten (S16 & 32) waren jeweils Salatgurke drin. Der Grund unbekannt! (Auf dem Foto ist links die Zucchini und rechts die Gurke. ) Wer gerne kocht wird auch wissen, dass Speisestärke Fleisch weich werden lässt. Hier war es aber zu viel des Guten. Die Soße zum Gericht war so dick, dass man den Eindruck hatte, man hätte Sirup im Mund. Leider können wir hier keine Empfehlung aussprechen.

Eerste en laatste keer Picanto de prullen bak in smaakte naar kots de pata was sompig zakjes saus Kipsate smaakte maar goed kopen troep van de action bestelling optijd nooit hier bestellen!

Wij hebben voor 6 personen laten thuisbezorgen. De prijzen zijn bovengemiddeld, de verwachtingen hoog. Bezorging was op tijd. Van de 6 bestellingen waren er 2 die goed of redelijk waren, de twee specialiteiten. De overige 4 (Foe Yong Hai, Babi Pangang en spek en kipballetjes) zijn min of meer in de vuilnisbak beland. Het meest tegenvallend (slecht?) was de saus voor de babi pangang gerechten, een waterige substantie die ik niet kan omschrijven, onbegrijpelijk. Zowel bami als mihoen niet lekker. Helaas

Ik haal hier altijd me Chinese eten, in de buurt is dichterbij een ander restaurant maar deze is lekkerder.✨ Sfeer kan ik niet echt goed beoordelen, ik neem altijd eten naar huis.

Eten redelijk, prijzen ok, botte bijna onbeschofte bediening, vies en veel vliegen op je tafel en bord, geen ventilatie of airco, aftands interieur, niet aanbevolen.

Das Chinarestaurant gibt es schon seit über 30 Jahren in Schoorl und ist immer noch klasse. Preis-/Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr angemessen und nicht so abgehoben wie in Bergen. Abholen oder im Lokal essen, alles Topp!

Bestellen hier nu al 3 jaar altijd geweldige qualiteit!! Niet aleen fantastich eten maar ook de bezorging is idioot snel en ze zijn altijd vriendelijk!

Via internet het eten vooraf besteld. Afgehaald en was op tijd gereed. Kwaliteit was goed. Vriendelijk personeel. Restaurant gedeelte ietwat gedateerd. Menukaart ruime keus. Chinees zit in het centrum van Schoorl. Ruim voldoende betaald parkeren.

Incredibly stingy restaurant. We had ordered three meals, so not a small amount, and my little brother asked for a glass of tap water. Was told he could only buy bottled water for like 3€ a pop. How can you deny a guest tap water? Will definitely not dine here again. Food was "alright" and was ready quickly though.

Het was een ouderwetse ervaring bij dit restaurant . De aankleding was als vroeger en de bediening heerlijk zoals vroeger . Het eten was prima en zonder gedoe lekker veel en smakelijk ,trouwens de kaart was erg uitgebreid dus veel keuze. en trouwens een stuk goedkoper dan het fletcher hotel waar we logeerden.

Lekker eten en vriendelijke medewerker! Ook importbami bestellen zonder ei was geen enkel probleem, top.

HET ETEN IS HIER HEERLIJK EN GOED VRIENDELIJK PERSONEEL

Ondanks dat ze best van ver kwamen om te bezorgen, hebben we lekker gegeten.

We hebben hier lekker gegeten. Er was echter niet op gerekend dat er gasten zouden komen dus de de verwarming stond laag. Met duizenden excuses werd de temperatuur snel verhoogd en het korte ongemak ruim gecompenseerd.

Freundlicher Service uns wurde auch gleich eine Speise, Getränke Karte in Deutsch angeboten. Das Essen hätte bisschen wärmer sein können war aber sehr gut.

Wir hatten eine Indonesische Reistafel für 2 Personen und konnten zu dritt zweimal essen. Auch der Geschmack war super! Lieferung pünktlich auf die Minute.

We saw the special take away offer for a vegetarian menu for 2-3 people. We waited outside for 15 minutes and were very happy with the food. Really delicious and although we can eat a lot, we definitely will have enough also for tomorrow! Highly recommended.

Wir kommen jedes Jahr wieder und ich muss sagen, dass das es konstant gut ist. Riesen Portionen und sehr sehr leckeres Essen. Abholung vor Ort mit Parkplatz vorm Haus gar kein Problem. Vegetarisches Menü für 2 Personen 30€ ,aber man so viel,dass man zwei Tage davon essen kann.

Prima restaurant waar ik geregeld afhaal - sinds dat de Chinees op De Laat in Alkmaar is gesloten. Het is een half uur (12 km) fietsen maar bij thuiskomst is het nog nét warm genoeg. Aardige bediening. Interieur geen last van want afhaal, maar dat ziet er inderdaad wat jaren 70 uit. Dame achter bar superlief. Loempia wat vet.
