The food was delicious! Unfortunately, a large group of people came to eat who had not made a reservation. This meant that everything had to be arranged in a hurry, which was detrimental to the service for the other guests. The group was very noisy (which the restaurant could not do anything about of course!) which was just a shame for us and the other guests. Ultimately, I will definitely eat there again!!!

Always very tasty, we often go there during the week. Because during the week there is a tapas offer. Delicious food for 2 hours and then also a dessert. Very tasty definitely recommended. And the owner is a nice woman who works hard.

Kitchen is fine, delicious food! The location of the restaurant is in the ghetto and opposite a dilapidated building. Service is very surly and then they also say: Here are the tools (cutlery) in my opinion you can't do this as a waiter...

The food was tasty, but they served garlic mayo with the calamari, whereas calamari usually has its own special sauce. The service was extremely slow. We sat down at 19:00, but our first drinks arrived at 19:40, and they took our food order at 20:00. The food arrived at 20:30. Our child’s order was incorrect, but we didn’t send it back because we didn’t want to wait any longer. We asked for ketchup for the child, they said okay, but never brought it. Overall, the place looks nice, and the food is decent, but the service was very disappointing

We ate here yesterday with the whole family. We often come to this restaurant. But what an experience we had yesterday, we will never come here again. We had to wait a long time for our starter. And 1.5 hours for our main course. Then our main course came, the Gyros tasteless, a number of us had Mixed Grill and everything tasted the same. Not tasty, this was returned and we got new Gyros, this was also not tasty. Then the dessert, we ordered the Muffin with chocolate in it, this should be warm and was served cold. Eventually the plates were taken away and warmed up and we got our plate back The owner was not exactly happy when we reported our complaint and had a head that was about to thunder. She took 2 muffins off the bill and 1 gyros menu and we had to make do with that. Have a nice evening! You can better go to Nikos🥰

We have been coming to Archeon jefsi for years, with complete satisfaction. Within walking distance. So we can easily drink a Greek wine. And the ouzo you get when you enter. The food is fine...price is okay. Service is very friendly.

Ik had een etentje georganiseerd voor familie, we waren met 18 personen. Het eten en het personeel waren fantastisch. Het was perfect geregeld door de eigenaresse in combinatie met het personeel. Het eten smaakte heel erg lekker. Tussen de gangen door werd er een juiste pauze in acht genomen, dus niet het idee dat het afgeraffeld werd. Kortom, een aanrader voor iedereen om daar te gaan eten.

Recently, King's Day, we had a delicious meal at Archeon Jefsi in Maarssen. Friendly welcome and start with an ouzo. Good atmosphere and service. Definitely worth repeating and also recommended for lovers of Greek cuisine.

De plek is niet geweldig (maar wel handig bij station Maarssen gelegen). Sfeervol restaurant met authentieke Griekse muziek. Gevarieerde menukaart met voor wel wat wils. Grote porties. Dorade en vlees smaakten uitstekend. Lekker pilsje erbij. Genieten!

Food really tasty. Maybe rice and tzaziki on your plate a little more. Price fine. Only paying 3.75 for his very small glass of ouzo is not possible... Denk je gezellig uit eten te gaan. De hele zaak is leeg maar er is echt maar 1 plekje vrij bij de deur in de kou. Ja, u heeft niet gereserveerd dus daarom is er geen plek. Vervolgens komt er een ander stel binnen. Duidelijk bekende en die krijgen met z’n tweeën een 4 persoonstafel. Op de vraag die wij stelde wordt gereageerd. Ja, mijn vader wil dat. Kortom als je bekende bent ben je wel welkom en anders niet. Complete afrader, geen service!

Downright bad. Fish dish consists of frozen and breaded mussels, octopus and shrimps. Nothing is freshly prepared. Salmon completely grilled to perfection, dry and tasteless. Can't get through. Two people 65 euros. Mixed grill: dry old giros, had been reheated maybe twice. Lamb chop hard and dry. Salad not fresh but already sliced. We found a piece of plastic from the packaging in our bowl. Archeon Jefsi in Bisonspoor Maarssenbroek is a Greek restaurant that meets the need for restaurants in Maarssenbroek. I have been coming there for years and have to say that Joop and Renate have largely made their mark given the clientele they have built up. Constant quality, service and the ladies at the counter are always cheerful and pleasant. Give it a try if you happen to be in the area?!

What a ridiculous restaurant. Half of the food was not delivered (ordered for 4 people, delivered for 2) and there was also a discussion with the staff. When we asked the kitchen, we turned out to be right, they had made it for 2 people. I'll never come here again.

The food, was not, what we always got. Giros was almost cold, then said something and a cat lick was brought back while you had ordered a large bowl for two people. People couldn't stand the reactions, the chef came but walked away with his head between his legs. It wouldn't hurt if they followed resilience training.

What a wonderful evening we had in this restaurant last Saturday evening, with 18 people. What service, what a delicious dinner, something of everything and so well taken care of. A lovely relaxed atmosphere. What if I could put a 10 somewhere instead of 5 stars?

We were invited to Archeon Jefsi by a friendly couple and were very impressed by the quality of the meat and the cava! I am Greek and I was positively impressed by Archeon Jefsi. First of all I was impressed by the wine selection of the menu. We ordered the white dry wine Malagouzia from a winery in Kitros at the North of Greece (near Mt Olympus). It is a great wine at a super price! (Other restaurants charge x2 or x3 for it) I am saying so because I liked ot so much and after drinking some bottles the next day I checked online for it. It was rated among the top 10 best wines in Greece. I now have in mind to visit Archeon Jefsi next time for the great value/price ratio of their wines. In addition to the wine I was also impressed by the excellent quality of the meat plates. We ate a variety of greatly marinated good quality meats. The plate that stands out is the "Trio Haas". Loaded plates with greatly grilled meat at excellent prices! The cook grilled the meat perfectly. As an additional positive surprise I will list the atmosphere in the restaurant. The ladies who serve the food were fast, polite, always wearing their best smiles and contributed to a great night of dancing with other clients when the night took that happy direction. So, as a Greek, who knows traditional Greek cuisine, who knows from good wine and who knows of traditional Greek parties I will take the risk to say that in Archeon Jefsi I felt like partying in Greece on vacation! I definitely recommend Archeon Jefsi to everyone and I will certainly visit again!!!

Ate here for the second time now. Upon arrival, as usual for a Greek, a glass of ouzo, we were with two small children and they received a glass of apple juice. Delicious Giros, served with good fries. I just thought the portion was on the small side and it wasn't enough. Very friendly staff

We went for dinner here on my husband's birthday. I reserved online and called last minute to change the times. They were really sweet about it. We were given a nice decorative corner. To begin with we were given drinks to proost on. My husband and I had ouzo and our girls got apple juice, in tiny tequila glasses. Amazing! After that we got the menu and we ordered. As we were waiting our girls were given colouring books and pencils to keep them busy. The highest point of the evening was the surprise birthday song with star fireworks. Other people joined in the singing and made it even more special. The food was delicious and the portions satisfying. The staff was the best. We would definitely come back. 💃🏾💃🏾❤❤❤❤

Really delicious food and very cozy.

Today 5-8-18 we had dinner here, after a while. Unfortunately a huge disappointment. And in the starter I counted 8 measly little shrimps (€8.50). After waiting quite a while, we both got the wrong dish. They wanted to make up for this by offering us a drink (we didn't use it) I must say my dish was just okay, unfortunately my wife's meat was undercooked. Then you understand that your evening meal did not turn out as it should have. They won't see me here again. For the sake of the readers, do with it what you will.

Delicious Greek food, 14 starters and 2 main courses for six people. The souflaki was exceptionally tasty and for the first time I was able to order tentoura liqueur, which is almost impossible to order anywhere. Compliments to the service who were super friendly
