Really nice food (we had the pancakes), nice location overlooking one of the canals, and the staff were very friendly!

This place is a total scam. Two slices of plain sandwich bread, tasteless eggs, and a sad excuse for a portion of baked beans. It’s the definition of a tourist trap—do yourself a favor and stay away

We had a great time at Archie’s. The staff was very friendly, polite, patient, and had a great smile, which he shared with us everytime. We had one beer each, which we enjoyed near the canal, with an amazing view. Would totally recommend for a chitchat in the afternoon. We didn’t eat here, so maybe next time.

I recommend a very nice place where you can have coffee with a canal view in Amsterdam.

We visited almost daily, food was great, service was great. They even helped us with a ride to the airport.

The pancakes were good but the service was long and you can see that they don't care, they bring the sugar and jam back into the jars directly for €9.50, the least you can do is make your presentation! service frankly to be reviewed.

The seating is a little awkward, but there's nothing to complain about, it's the highlight of Amsterdam. As soon as we sat down, the waiter immediately brought lighting to our table. They have a strong list of drinks and they also make non-alcoholic drinks.

ORRIBLE PLACE, PLEASE DON'T WAIST YOIR MONEY. We sat there and my boyfriend ordered a small bier and he got the big one to scam us, the food was very bad, I asked for a glass of water and he tried to give me wine, and I told him kindly i wanted Just a glass of tap water, he then gave me the bottle of water to pay. Rude, and very bad place. The only good is the location close to the canal Never again

Small, unpretentious cafe. With some tables across the road next to the canal. Tried the Sole and chips. The service was good and fast. The fish was cooked just right, and the chips were nice and crisp on the outside.

Archie’s is the cream , cheap , creepy but exceeds expectations for what it is . Great people watching spot . Service was good in my opinion but if you want Michelin star this ain’t the place. If you want cheap and easy then go see Archie

Nice to sit. However, unfriendly service and very expensive.

Don’t entry this place! The owner tried to cheat on me, serving you 8 € beer without my approval after I used the bathroom, just want a tea o coffee. I rejected and they argued and no happy of unsuccessful Rip off tourist.

This is a concern post. We were visiting Amsterdam for 3 days and past by your restaurant at different times but was closed. But there is a cat at the window at all times. Hope she is been cared for - as all the 3 days we found you closed. Wishing well.

Sat down, the guy approached asking what drink we’d like and we were looking on our phone to check alcohol percentage of a local beer, and asked him for two minutes. He rudely said, I don’t have time, you’re on your phone, it’s busy. There was only two other tables. We got up to leave, he said you’re sick people. DO NOT RECOMMEND.

michaela is brilliant and the best in amsterdam

We stayed at Velvet hotel next to it upstairs and visited this place everyday. Here is local cat that will greet you, costumers and tourists. Customer service was beyond amazing and helpful. They were friendly and recommentated good drinks. Local people were so nice to us in there. 6/5 would (will) come again😄👍🏻

Well located, the tables next to the canal provide a charming atmosphere. The food and service were just ok, but is definitely a good stop for a beer.

The staff is extremely nice and friendly. And the terrace has a beautiful canal view. Favorite bar on my trip.

Dropped in for lunch. A drab place, plain food (a really simple and dull feta salad and a few mass-produced bitterballen with a tiny amount of mustard, total 20 euros), and service that couldn't care less. Sad.

It is a really nice Restaurant in a nice quater of Amsterdam. Our drinks, were very good and the employees was absolutely friendly. If I came to Amsterdam (from Germany) again, I would visit them again.🙂

Staff were very friendly and food was amazing. A great English breakfast. Would highly recommend.

We didn't expect anything when ordering some breakfast. Then delicious pancakes and omelette came and we were really surprised. Waitress was quick and friendly. Sunshine on our faces. Everything perfect this morning. Thank you!!!!

Lovely breakfast/lunch, a wide selection of alcohol and a beautiful view, the owner was very attentive and also had good knowledge of the area.

Visiting in the afternoon. Sufficiently simple atmosphere. A small hamburger with crispy fries is not small actually. :)

The service was really kind and attentive, the beer well drafted and everything was overall quick and smooth. The food was normal, fast food kind, but okay (we only had Bitterbalen). Not many people, calm atmosphere, clean tables and utensils.
