What a drama. Rarely have I experienced such disinterested service. Holy shit. The toilets were too dirty to use. The bucket of pitch black water with a mop in it said it all. Left again quickly. Too bad.

The food is always very tasty. Just a pity that the boy who was serving on the terrace completely ignored us. It wasn't busy there were only a few tables otherwise I wouldn't have blamed him but this was just rude.

Worst service i have had in a loooong time The waiter was unfriendly af... i had to ask 3 waiters to pay 2 brushed me off saying they weren't responsible ant the other said he would come in a few min We waited about 25min, at which point i had enough and went inside to the bar to pay were i passed the same waiter doing nothing. I have nothing to say about the quality of the drinks there because we only had 2ice tea's and a coffe...which is pretty much impossible to screw up soo this review is just about thier service.

The employees are good but the management is bad. As soon as you order, they take payment immediately at the table, before the food even arrives. It is much more expensive than other tourist destinations. The place overlooks the square, and that's the only way it gets its money. I won't come again

Had a lovely afternoon with my crossword at Le Pub! Service was awesome and atmosphere was really pleasant. Extra shout-out to the new hire in the staff whom were super attentive, professional and nice!

Very pleasant terrace in a lively area of ​​Amsterdam. An annoying downside: we are asked to pay when ordering. I understand that on the terrace, payment is requested when the drinks are served but when ordering... Never seen before!

Had lunch with my son last week. 2 croquette sandwiches, a coke zero and a Corona 0.0. I lost more than 30 euros. 1 croquette and a white bun😱. Furthermore, the seating was pleasant and the service was quick and friendly. Toilet was indeed grubby.

Very nice position but service is below 0 star. Waiter is not interested to serve but the worst is that he came with toothpick in his mouth. Food is average.

Service was subpar, we were insulted by the waiter after we asked for our original order, the cappuccino was bland and the tea came in a bag... avoid it!

Was the worst experience ever never been insulted in my life. Due to being asian wanted money up front even though I asked them to run my card and even leave a tab open. Answer NO need to pay first but if you white eat and drink pay after this place needs to have a sign saying if we feel you poor and can not pay for your food we need money up front. We came from the USA so if I can afford that surely can afford a meal and few drinks. The owner needs to train his staff to respect all religions and race colour.

You don't have to come here for a nice drink. You get such dirty looks that you want to leave immediately. Not a good afternoon or a simple hi. No, a dirty look and an attitude of what am I doing here. The waiter who brought the drinks was nice and cheerful. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was already ruined before we could even order a drink. This means no second drink. We will look for another terrace where the staff at least gives something of a greeting or a smile.

Had lunch with my friend. My sandwich was very dry and he ordered a croquette sandwich which was literally a bun with 1 croquette. Both were served on a plastic plate. The toilets were very run down and not tidy. €25 for the sandwiches and both drinks.

Firstly , if you sit on the terrace you must first ask the waitress if you can sit down because she is too busy standing by the door , the after dropping the menu at is, while she chatted to her colleuges . Evenitalllu I got ip and. Walked to them to order 2 hoegaarden beers. Eventually after nobody coming to ask if we want to eat , we asked to pay and. We’re charged a ridiculous €7 for a 330ml beer Not even a pint Price conveniently not on menu

Terrible service, the food looked horrible, we just ordered a sparkling water and a beer and we paid 15 eur!! Insanely expensive for no reason. The drinks in the menu have no prices so they may charge whatever the heck they want. We didn’t even get a receipt!

The building looks beautiful. Great location and they did a really good job with the Christmas decorations, nice! But the owner and chef should be ashamed. 1. For the quality of the food. We had a Chicken Burger. We got a little lettuce, some red onion, chicken that was much smaller than the sandwich and even less sauce. You pay €15.50 for that... it doesn't even include fries. The spareribs were also nothing to write home about. A bit tough and not much sauce with it. Plus the 'fresh raw salad' was lukewarm. 2. It took quite a while before the food was on the table, it wasn't really busy. 3. If you really look around you, the building is dirty, the corners reveal that French cleaning has been going on for a long time. And then the cellar...the cold room doors, damn. Indicated during checkout that we were not enthusiastic. Apparently it is a well-known feedback, because the waitress asked 'was the food warm?' The place is great but the service is not that good. In my opinion the prices are quite expensive for being a casual restaurant. The food was quite normal and they expect you to pay before receiving the food.

Leuke plek om te zitten maar helaas erg duur! Wij hadden de tosti en die smaakte prima.

9 piek voor doodgeslagen bier in een lelijk glas.

Zeer onvriendelijk personeel en zijn ook niet herkenbaar als personeel daarbij 9 euro voor een halve liter bier vind ik te gortig.

Goedkoop en het Leidseplein gaan niet samen, maar 9 euro voor een pint en 7 euro voor een 33cl bier? Duidelijk voor argeloze toeristen die waarschijnlijk denken dat het heel normaal is. Eten was redelijk maar niet bijzonder. Niet voor herhaling vatbaar.

Prima terras. Erg duur (bijna een tientje voor een "pint" Bud, 6 bitterballen € 9). Snel en vriendelijk personeel. Eten was oke, hoog kant en klaar en opwarmen gehalte maar het voldeed. Ga je naar het Leidseplein, dan weet je dat je veel kwijt bent voor weinig. Dus dat accepterende is dit een prima tent.

A cider semmi különös, de nem gejl édes. A felszolgáló aranyos volt, de alapból több, mint negyed órát vártunk, ameddig kijött valaki hozzánk. Nem akarom nagyon lerontani, mert összességében jól éreztük magunkat, de nem több, mint átlag.

Very European pub/caffe Massive outdoor seating in the square, all positioned as to watch the world go by. Food wasn't bad. Plenty better around the area, but worth sitting down for a beer or a wine, some deep-fried cheese stick. Just a good brake

Gezellig terrasje aan het Leidseplein. Ik bestelde de Eggs Florentine maar de gepocheerde eieren waar helaas volledig te lang gekookt en gestold. Aardig aan de prijs ook. Leuke plek voor een drankje maar ik zou hier niet meer eten.

Locale molto carino e ben posizionato all'angolo della piazza. Possibilità sia di stare ai tavolini esterni, sia all'interno al piano terra od al primo. Ho mangiato bene e con una spesa davvero non elevata per Amsterdam. Buona la scelta delle birre. Personale gentile. In un futuro ritorno ad Amsterdam ci tornerò sicuramente.

Le Pub vindt ik een gezellig leuk cafétje in Amsterdam. Fijne plek aan het Leidseplein. Echter kom hier niet om fantastisch te eten of iets dergelijks. Het is er, erg logisch aangezien de plek, ontzettend duur en eten en bediening is zeer matig. Kom hier gewoon alleen voor een koffietje en gezellig te zitten en kijk niet teveel naar de gore vloeren etc.

We hebben buiten een drankje gedaan maar de toilet vonden we niet heel fris ruiken en eruit zien. Jammer dat zijn minpuntjes helaas

Entiendo que es Leidseplein, pero 9€ por medio litro de Heineken es un despropósito.

Good food and beer. The ribs were not the best but quite decent. Too much onion in the salad though.

Drink seems okay, however do not eat here. Overpriced. €14 for these "Crispy Hot Chicken Wings" They arrived with no napkins, no garnish except for a squeeze sachet of something. Over cooked, not hot and 6 wings for €14....and one of them wings were half a wing

Friendly staff, had vegetarian options, and good beer. Easy to find location.

Tiene una gran terraza y se está muy a gusto. No es barato pero la atención de los camareros está bien. Dentro el local está bonito y también se puede ver deportes en la pantalla de tv.

Le Pub at Leidseplein is a great place to have a drink and spend a good time. It has two ambiences, interior and terrace. The terrace is a great place to observe Amsterdam’s life passing by. Drinks are great, and food is correct. In fact, food comes from a nearby restaurant, and it is not elaborated in Le Pub. Service is dynamic and kind. Good place to be.
