Argentango Steakhouse in Burgwallen-Oude Zijde

Good morning, I have tried many times to contact you and send complaints, as there is a problem related to the restaurant that I own now, which is gusto Italian Amsterdam, located Lange niezel 16D poste code 1012GT. This is the new name of the restaurant, but the old name, Argentango Steakhouse, is still there. I do not know who owns it, and I would like you to please remove Argentango Steakhouse from the map, as it is located at the same address. Thank you for your help, gusto Italian Amsterdam.

It was delicious! The owner was very friendly and helpful. I recommend the pork ribs and the risotto!

Very friendly staff. I ordered a burger, the bun was a little bit stale but other than that everything was great! It’s great that they have gluten free options as well.

Top-notch cuisine! Authentic Italian cuisine! We even met a few Italians who came to eat there!

Don't waste your time or money here. We paid €60 for two for a quick service, meat served with 3 salad leaves (and without sauce of course) to encourage you to pay extra for the fries and sauce. A good scam!

Stay on your guard! Outside a sign reads “burger 10 euros”. But once you return, the only burger on the menu is 15 euros. And when the waiter takes the orders, he automatically suggests “sauce & cheese? », without specifying that it is an additional charge, so the slate rises to 20 balls, double what you had planned when you got home. When I asked the waiter why the burger displayed in front of the door was not on the menu, he replied “yes, we do it but you have to ask” (??). I took this one and my friends took the one on the menu => we had exactly the same burger (apart from extra salad leaves for my friends). In short, I'm not a lawyer but it doesn't seem legal to me. To choose, prefer fast food that is assumed as such.

My son and I stumbled upon this restaurant during our sightseeing in Amsterdam and decided to grab a late lunch. We were impressed by everything! Atmosphere, service and food, everything exceeded our expectations. The homemade apple pie was a highlight—absolutely delicious! A big thank you to our waiter (apologies for not remembering his name and this late reviews, we went there January) for his exceptional service. Steak was cooked incorrectly from what was ordered and just chewy didn't attempt to finish

The worst food I have ever eaten in my life, the spare ribs tasted like I was eating spoiled meat. Really the worst thing I've ever eaten. Also, the guy charged us an extra 3.5 euros for the fries without asking. It tasted like dog food. Pure disgust. The shop is about to close. I didn't manage to eat the food and I was starving like crazy, I wish it closed yesterday. I hope I don't dry out tonight!!!! 0/10 worst experience ever.

Visited here during short stay in Amsterdam. With our 10 people group, good came out quickly and quality above average. Staff was friendly, restaurant not spacious but clean. Will recommend.

Scam, stay home and open a can of cassoulet. Everyone served at our table except one person, which did not bother the waiters who left him without his dish for a while, we had to tell them twice because the first time they had given his dish to another table and the second time they had forgotten to tell their chef to make the dish. Very expensive for what you get on the plate and the flavor level is not great. I do not recommend this restaurant. When I see the positive reviews that are written, it makes you wonder if they haven't paid people to write them.

Argentango is situated in a side street off the main street, we visited this for the first time based on the reviews, This is a Great restaurant the food was fabulous, Mario and his team where very organised, we didn’t wait long for drinks or food, all at a very reasonable cost, would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Visited here last night and had a fabulous meal. First time in Amsterdam and we visited based on recent reviews - we certainly weren’t disappointed. The onion soup starter was very tasty and the tenderloin steak was perfectly cooked and beautifully tender. Big thank you to Mario for the excellent service and for his good humour. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a restaurant in Amsterdam that really knows how to source and cook a quality steak

La comida rica, la carne de buena calidad. El pan no es grátis.

Heerlijk gegeten, super vriendelijke gastvrouw en echt met de buik vol weer naar huis. Kregen zelfs nog een drankje van het huis aangeboden.

Petit endroit très sympathique dans les rues d'Amsterdam, loin des attrapes touristes, où l'on mange bien et le service est chouette, en plus la serveuse parle français! Nous avons dégustée des belles pièces de viande et un riz parfumé et judicieusement assaisonné. Je reviendrai assurément !

Wir waren dort Abendessen. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich. Getränke und Essen kamen sehr schnell. Zum Essen gab es Rumpsteak und Spare Ribs. Alles sehr lecker. Preis/Leistungsverhältnis ist auch gut. Kann ich nur Empfehlen.

Wollten zu dem Steakhouse gegenüber, leider das falsche erwischt. Das hier war ok, mehr aber nicht. Salat war sehr trocken und langweilig. Das Brot mit Knoblauchpaste war lecker, die Nudeln waren auch ok. Besteck lag dreckig auf dem Tisch, das nur auf Anfrage getauscht wurde
