We stumbled upon this Argentine restaurant in Amsterdam while walking in the rain, hungry and searching for something the kids would enjoy. Despite seeing poor reviews later, we hadn’t checked them beforehand, and honestly, I’m glad we didn’t! The staff was incredibly kind, the food was fresh and delicious, and it was one of the only places open at noon. The value for the price was excellent, and we had a wonderful dining experience. Based on our visit, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this spot—it’s much better than the reviews suggest!

Can't even eat!! Never been somewhere that was so bad. We were walking in Amsterdam in the evening so we wanted something to eat. Everything was full, but there was no one in this restaurant, so we sat there. We got a spot and then the service was gone! Waited 30 minutes but not one staff member came. Didn't even get anything to drink!!! I don't think they were all eating or in the kitchen. I think it is a very bad tent and especially the service. It looks like I'm not the first from the other reviews. Next time I'll check out the review. We will NEVER come back here again.

Passed by looking for a place to eat, so I thought it was good they had a lot on the menu, ordered medium with bbq sauce and fries. Then got a steak which was as good as raw inside, the bbq sauce we didn't see anything, got ketchup but thought it was for the fries. The waiter tried to charge us for bbq sauce which we never saw and thought it was bbq sauce we had been given before he himself tasted it saying it was ketchup. Bad not recommended

Ordered medium fried but wondering if it had been in contact with heat at all. Didn't get the sauce we ordered either, but ketchup for the potatoes. Spit for the bill and we got it after 20 minutes. There was the sauce, I informed him, and he smelled the ketchup to establish that it was not bbq sauce. Also asked if the meat was cooked medium without any good response to that. He had to create a new bill and seemed angry about it. Maybe we were unlucky, but I do not recommend this restaurant

Excellent food, we ordered the Rib-Eye and T-Bone with some fries. Very quick and good quality food.

The portion is way too small for the price (see the picture) and the quality is just meh. The waiter tried to force a minimum 10% tip (he said “you HAVE TO choose between 10%, 15% and 20% tip”). He even made a wrong order and charged us more and when confronted he said “it can’t be changed on the system”. Unbelievable. Never again.

Unless other places nearby are closed, I would skip this one

The waiters were nice, but the food was really disappointing for the price. Pasta and pizza in the school cafeteria quality for 5 times the price. My buddy paid 5 euros for 4 slices of bread. I'll never go here again

I was deciding between this place and the pizzeria next door and oh boy was it a good decision to step in! Fantastic service and delicious steak!

The food is great but the service was really a bad experience. The waitress had such a bad attitude all the time and we didn’t even do nothing wrong to him. The management team really needs to know what kind of people they have in their restaurant.

At first glance nice place. A beer ordered, two served, hot and of course the second is billed even though we did not ask for it! Good meat but lacks seasoning for the price. And finally the moment of the bill where you are put under pressure to leave a 10, 20 or 30% tip! Damage …

OK so here is the funny part, we were just walking past and saw this place, it looked nice from outside and served steak, what else could you ask for in Amsterdam cold night. Without looking at Google reviews we went in. We were greeted nicely and seated wherever we asked. Staff was welcoming We ordered food, starters and drinks all arrived as expected. During all this different serving staff was asking if we need anything etc. Very friendly. Food came, it wasn't bad, if not off the chart. We enjoyed our food, had a great time and staff was grey too. Now few days later I just happened to see their reviews on Google, oh my my, it's bad, actually terrible. Had we read it before entering the place we would have 100% skipped it. Hence don't always go with the reviews you maybe in for a surprise, like we were. Our experience is totally opposite to majority reviews here.

DO NOT GO HERE. No half star option, so by default, it has one star! Absolutely awful place. Cold food, wine watered down and from a pump, we sent it back! Steak was so bland and dry only the sauce made it edible. Waiters have no idea what Steak they are serving you, they are incompetent at best! Asked for our bill, wine was on there, told them to remove it, waited 15 mins for another bill. Waiters attitude was shocking...cost €110.00 for 2 main courses, ridiculous! Recommend you try somewhere else! Don't waste your time or money!

Starters never arrived, steak came wrong, staff were insulting and rude, staff threatened us with the police when we said we was unhappy, staff ignored us. This restaurant is horrendous and shouted even have customers to serve. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!

Tasteless food, The meat was very poorly done, I asked for half blood and it came completely... It has nothing to do with Argentine meat...

I got one of the steaks, and it tasted very bland. If I didn't use the salt at the table, it would've been very difficult to finish. The service was OK, nothing out of the ordinary. The interior design looks nice however.

Good fillet and ripeye steak - really recommended, could have been a bit warmer, but otherwise great! If the steak is of good quality, it can be a bit expensive. Drinks went well too, but you can't go wrong with beer. Service was top! I think it's stupid that people weren't honest about their impressions here...

Was great, nothing to complain about

My mother and I had a delicious meal at this restaurant tonight! The boy who helped us was friendly, welcoming and very helpful! And we got a limoncello on the house, very tasty! The food was also very tasty and in our opinion it is definitely worth visiting this restaurant again when we are in Amsterdam again!

Unfortunately you cannot give half stars and even this would be on the high side. The two of us took the most expensive mixed grill of €150. At an average neighborhood BBQ you could get even better meat. Almost everything was burned, not to mention the quantity. Drink without a shot. All in all a complete disaster. Save yourself the irritation of the lousy service and spend your money elsewhere. We're sorry we went in here.

Waited a while to get our order, waiter was friendly but the other wait staff were very much not. Even by Europe standards they were not very happy. Expensive meals that took a while to get there but the steak was cooked well.
