Weren't allowed to eat the bahn mi inside due to store policy, even though the store was almost empty. Never felt so unwelcome as a costumer. Food was meh, especially the bao bun not worth the price.

The atmosphere was nice, but you walk to your table and aren't served or helped. You have to scan a QR code, and they bring your food. The food was fine, nothing special, but for the price, I didn't think it was good enough. Please, walk within Utrecht. There are much better places for a better price and portion size.

Bad service, I had a problem with the qr code and nobody wanted to help us, always looking down at us. There was one girl that was really mean to us. Don’t recommend it.

No cutlery, no napkins, your order isn't brought after ringing the bell. A man (owner?) stands around looking a bit clueless. The hostess sometimes doesn't even look at you and never smiles. It doesn't look very clean behind the scenes either. It used to be a nice place. The food is meh.

Mediocre service. The food was cold when it was served and had absolutely no flavor. There was no fresh white rice, only reheated nasi goreng. We paid €85, including soft drinks, which is absolutely not worth it. Please go to another restaurant. What also irritates me is that the staff barely speaks Dutch.

I ordered the chicken poke bowl with the omelet and sriracha mayonnaise. It was delicious and beautifully presented. The portions are just right. It's clean and nicely decorated, and ordering is easy with a QR code. I find the QR code very user-friendly. You can also order regular. For those with a big appetite, you can always order extra, which increases your portion size. Fantastic!

The food at this eatery in Utrecht, Hoog Catharijne, is disappointing. Terrible and expensive. Not tasty, and it doesn't do real Chinese cuisine justice. Not worth going back. The owner is very unfriendly, rude, unhelpful, and snaps at customers when they ask questions.

The food is just meh, quite a lot of hoisin sauce on the gyoza so you don't taste the filling really well. The bao bun was good nice soft pork. And the karaage was crispy chicken not real karaage

Terrible unfriendly experience. We went for dinner and were pointed to a table we were happy with. Then 2 minutes later a different grumpy waiter came along and said we couldn’t sit there and we have to sit at a bigger table at the bag. We moved but commented that the other guy said we could sit there. But this waiters behavior, attitude, unprofessionalism continued the whole time we were there and ruined our dinner. We had to order by qr code on our phone, which in general is fine but there is no way to use our money off vouchers from the toilet this way. Anyway we ended up ignoring the vouchers also. We ordered and the drinks came quickly. Unfortunately we were stuck with the grumpy waiter. Then came the food. He asked who got the red curry , which none of us had ordered. I don’t think that’s even a dish on the menu. My sister asked if he means yellow curry and he just walked off to get the order receipt and pointed at the yellow curry as if he had said that. He looked at us as if we were making a mistake. Then he came with the rest of the food. He had his fingers in the bowl of food as he held it and brought it over which is pretty disgusting. A lot of the meat in the dishes were blackened (burnt) so we had to pick a lot of it off. But the food was mostly tasty for one positive point. But the whole experience means we would never go again.

My visit to this restaurant was unfortunately disappointing compared to other Asian restaurants I've been to in Amsterdam and Valkenburg. The portions were relatively small, and, remarkably, you have to order rice separately for each dish, which isn't always practical. The meat was served quite cold, making it seem like it had been reheated rather than freshly prepared. Furthermore, the shrimp were almost raw, even though the menu said they were fried. The taste of the dishes was quite average and didn't meet the expectations one would have of a restaurant in a large, exotic shopping mall. The quality of the chopsticks also left much to be desired; the tips were too thick, making eating uncomfortable. The vegetarian dish was almost raw, except for the rice, and lacked flavor. As a result, a lot of food was left over, which is a shame considering the price.

The opening hours say it is open at 10:00. They were already there cooking, but when we walked in at 11:00 they told us they are not open.

I had to write a review just so some people would not be influenced by the 2.8 rating. I nearly didn't go myself after seeing the rating. But, so glad we decided to try it. The service was excellent. We got the food really fast. We had their gyozas and chicken satay. Both were excellent! Really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend!

I was sitting in the restaurant, chatting with one of the servers while waiting for my food, nothing wrong so far. When it arrived he told me i couldn't sit and eat in the restaurant, and I had to move to a sad little corner while the restaurant was mostly empty. Why couldn't I eat there? I order "Banh mi" and receive this. If you are not a Vietnamese restaurant, please respect the food. At least use the correct bread for the dish. By the way, this cost me 7.5e with 3 slices of pork belly and a bit salad. And it took 20 minutes to get this Banh mi even though the restaurant was not really crowded at that time.

Order a sandwich and drinks to eat there, there are 2 people in the restaurant. It is said that sandwiches are only for take away and we are not allowed to sit around. Idiot policy.

What we experienced compared to the average rating did not match. The food was super tasty and the service was really great.

Food was okay, not very special, bao buns with pork belly, spring roll chicken (didn't taste any chicken), chicken karage was okay, some pieces were very fatty. Strange that you can't order banhmi to eat there. It is only very strange and unfortunate for take away.

The food was excellent both times, but it does take longer than you would expect (more than 30 minutes before your destination arrives). It's a pity that the egg was missing from the ramen.

For the first time we were refused with a guide dog. Even asking the manager provided no help. No fuss was made, our appetite was suddenly gone.

I used to always come here. But this time it was very disappointing. The bao buns were way below par. Omit all garnishes. (No sweet and sour onion/cucumber, no spring onion.) The fingerprints were in the torn open bao buns. (They are already open by default, otherwise you have to do that with one knife.) We also had to wait 45 minutes for it and 25 minutes in line. I complained to the waiter and he couldn't say anything other than sorry

I tried the Pork Ramen and a beer, I liked it. I think it's a good place for a hot meal on the go. Average price per person 22 euros. The attention was good enough.

Food is very little and not like the pictures. It's super dry. Rice is too dry. The food is honestly not very tasty. My girlfriend and I were super disappointed, we were really looking forward to it. Will never come back here again!! For the money you pay you really don't get anything at all and it is better to go to the supermarket or to a fast food.

This restaurant inside the Hoog Catharijne Shopping Mall was a wonderful surprise! It has a wonderful decor! Very colorful and pretty! It is very popular with families of various nationalities! The food is delicious and very well prepared with quality ingredients! The drinks are very expensive, they come in very small bottles, which do not justify the high price! Regarding the staff, it would be advisable for them to be a little more open and friendly with customers! I will be back with pleasure, for the beautiful atmosphere and the delicious food! I had to wait a very long time before my sandwich came

Got a banh mi chicken here on Saturday, September 14. It took a very long time for the sandwich to arrive, half of which was very tasteless and the second half was so full of sambal that it was really disgusting. You have to wait at the side and that's why I noticed that some of them are just lounging around and doing nothing besides chatting with each other. Those who make the food are way too busy. For me they received their order in parts, after the other had already finished his sandwich, the next one came. The payment process is special. Tips are automatically charged unless otherwise stated. 10% on bad service and takeaway is crazy! Not a pleasant experience.

Precio alto, calidad baja En el aeropuerto tratando de encontrar una opción vegetariana saludable. Me emocioné mucho al ver ensalada de papaya en el menú... ninguno del personal parecía saber lo que era, así que un gerente salió a mostrarle al personal cómo servirla... literalmente, mostrándole cómo llenar a medias el tazón para llevar y esponjarlo para que se vea lleno... frente a mí... Intervení y pedí un tazón más lleno y me senté a comerlo. No tenía relación con la ensalada tradicional asiática de papaya. Ni chile, ni ajo, ni cacahuetes, ni sabor. Sigue caminando, no hay orgullo de menú aquí.

Cozy place, nice atmosphere! Very suitable for a snack while shopping. The ramen with shrimp and the Beijing duck fried rice are highly recommended. A bit western, but that always happens with Asian restaurants. The manager (I think it was) was very friendly. We will come back again!

We hebben o.a. een Bao Bun Rendang gehad. Het leek meer op een bun met wat leek op pinda saus met een paar reepjes vlees! Totaal niet wat je zou verwachten van Rendang! En maar niet beginnen over smaak. Die was ver te zoeken. De bun was ook vreemd van smaak. We hebben ook andere gerechten gehad en die waren okay, niet groots.

Pros: Friendly and attentive waiter, the interior design is unique and interesting. Cons: Long wait for f&b. IMO, the food was bland and cooked wrongly - the chicken was grilled with the rendang gravy poured over it, so it didn't even have the rendang flavor on its own.

The bad reviews about the service here are very justified. I came for a quick bite to eat at 8pm after the shops closed. When I walked in there were still 2 tables that were almost finished. I plopped down at a table with a comfortable looking couch, but unfortunately... I was kindly asked to take a seat elsewhere because this was a table for 4 (the whole place was empty...) The ramen was actually quite nice , but it was not really pleasant to have the place swept out and looked at around 8:30 PM, closing time is 10:00 PM, but the girls clearly wanted to go home. Shame!

It was a while ago, but I still want to share my experience. I came here with my mom and dad, hoping for a nice lunch! When we entered it was very quiet, after waiting 5 minutes we were able to sit down and the table was neatly cleared by the host. We received our menus and after deciding we were ready to place our order. After waiting 20 minutes, our drinks or food had not yet been received. While the host and another employee were chatting, we tried to make eye contact, but it didn't work. At a certain point we had had enough and left the restaurant to eat at the Lebanese (Where we eat every time we are in Utrecht, because there you will be helped well and you are guaranteed good food.) My father informed the host that we were leaving. “Wasn't the food tasty?” The host asked. We were very surprised and walked straight away. Strange course of events there. The host also had a very strange look and I think he had no idea what he was actually doing.

The food is very unpalatable. Westerners sell Asian food. After eating it, you can tell that the chef has never eaten orthodox Asian food, and he doesn't seem to pay attention to the cooking and food preservation. First of all, the fried shrimp dumplings tasted mushy and stale. I felt like vomiting after eating them. Four of them cost nearly 7 euros. The miso ramen was also terrible, with crunchy shrimps and sour eggs. Looking at the reviews afterwards, it seems that many people had problems with the eggs. I only blame myself for trying it rashly without reading the reviews first.

When you come in you ask for a menu, you are told with attitude that you have to look outside the window, Then you want to sit down, you are not allowed because it is a table for 4 people while the table next to it had 2 people sitting there?? Then you ask about it and you are told: “Do you have a problem or something?” ridiculous service wouldn't go here!!!

This looks nothing like a real Banh Mi. There was no coriander on it, the (little) meat was heated in the microwave, and the sauce had a salad-like dressing that shouldn't be on it. For 7.50 a real disappointment.

First and last time. We will never go back again.
