I had to write a review just so some people would not be influenced by the 2.8 rating. I nearly didn't go myself after seeing the rating. But, so glad we decided to try it. The service was excellent. We got the food really fast. We had their gyozas and chicken satay. Both were excellent! Really enjoyed our visit and would highly recommend!

I was sitting in the restaurant, chatting with one of the servers while waiting for my food, nothing wrong so far. When it arrived he told me i couldn't sit and eat in the restaurant, and I had to move to a sad little corner while the restaurant was mostly empty. Why couldn't I eat there? What's wrong with eating restaurant food in a restaurant?The food wasn't good anyway, gentrified banh mi. Do not recommend.

Very unclear that you can't eat inside at the order counter. As soon as I complain about this to the manager, this lady says she will ask for money back by email. They don't give money back at the counter. Very dissatisfied with this way of acting. Food really too simple for 8.50 euros pp

I order "Banh mi" and receive this. If you are not a Vietnamese restaurant, please respect the food. At least use the correct bread for the dish. By the way, this cost me 7.5e with 3 slices of pork belly and a bit salad. And it took 20 minutes to get this Banh mi even though the restaurant was not really crowded at that time.

Order a sandwich and drinks to eat there, there are 2 people in the restaurant. It is said that sandwiches are only for take away and we are not allowed to sit around. Idiot policy.

The pokebowl omelette with siracha mayo was very tasty and well filled with edamame, corn, cucumber and carrot. I also ordered wakame for extra flavor.

Everyone was very nice and it's a great place for an introvert (like me) because the only real interactions are getting seated and getting your food. The food came super fast and was amazing! The general vibes are immaculate- will be going back!

What we experienced compared to the average rating did not match. The food was super tasty and the service was really great.

Food was okay, not very special, bao buns with pork belly, spring roll chicken (didn't taste any chicken), chicken karage was okay, some pieces were very fatty. Strange that you can't order banhmi to eat there. It is only very strange and unfortunate for take away.

The food was excellent both times, but it does take longer than you would expect (more than 30 minutes before your destination arrives). It's a pity that the egg was missing from the ramen.

Als men bedenkt dat deze zaak zich al niet houdt aan de wetgeving in verband met blindengeleidehonden en deze weigert ondanks de wettelijke verplichting deze toe te laten. Kan men dan wel zeker zijn dat men zich houdt aan andere regelgevingen zoals hygiëne, voedsingsnormen, ... Ik waag het er zeker niet meer op.

Dit restaurant weigert mensen met een geleidehond / hulphond. Dit is bij wet verboden. Laten jullie mensen met een rolstoel oid ook buiten staan? Denken jullie dat je een bijzonder restaurant bent ofzo? Ga je schamen. Ik hoop dat jullie… ach laat ik het ook maar niet zeggen. Ik hoop dat jullie hier een nare nasmaak aan overhouden.

Voor het eerst geweigerd omdat we een blindengeleidehond bij ons hadden. Navraag bij de manager hielp niet. Heb stennis geschopt, onze eetlust was over. Maar de nasmaak van deze schending van het VN verdrag over gelijke behandeling van mensen met een handige blijft bitter.

I used to always come here. But this time it was very disappointing. The bao buns were way below par. Omit all garnishes. (No sweet and sour onion/cucumber, no spring onion.) The fingerprints were in the torn open bao buns. (They are already open by default, otherwise you have to do that with one knife.) We also had to wait 45 minutes for it and 25 minutes in line. I tried the Pork Ramen and a beer, I liked it. I think it's a good place for a hot meal on the go. Average price per person 22 euros. The attention was good enough.

Food is very little and not like the pictures. It's super dry. Rice is too dry. The food is honestly not very tasty. My girlfriend and I were super disappointed, we were really looking forward to it. Will never come back here again!! For the money you pay you really don't get anything at all and it is better to go to the supermarket or to a fast food.

This restaurant inside the Hoog Catharijne Shopping Mall was a wonderful surprise! It has a wonderful decor! Very colorful and pretty! It is very popular with families of various nationalities! The food is delicious and very well prepared with quality ingredients! The drinks are very expensive, they come in very small bottles, which do not justify the high price! Regarding the staff, it would be advisable for them to be a little more open and friendly with customers! I will be back with pleasure, for the beautiful atmosphere and the delicious food! I had to wait a very long time before my sandwich came

Got a banh mi chicken here on Saturday, September 14. It took a very long time for the sandwich to arrive, half of which was very tasteless and the second half was so full of sambal that it was really disgusting. You have to wait at the side and that's why I noticed that some of them are just lounging around and doing nothing besides chatting with each other. Those who make the food are way too busy. For me they received their order in parts, after the other had already finished his sandwich, the next one came. The payment process is special. Tips are automatically charged unless otherwise stated. 10% on bad service and takeaway is crazy! Not a pleasant experience.

Precio alto, calidad baja En el aeropuerto tratando de encontrar una opción vegetariana saludable. Me emocioné mucho al ver ensalada de papaya en el menú... ninguno del personal parecía saber lo que era, así que un gerente salió a mostrarle al personal cómo servirla... literalmente, mostrándole cómo llenar a medias el tazón para llevar y esponjarlo para que se vea lleno... frente a mí... Intervení y pedí un tazón más lleno y me senté a comerlo. No tenía relación con la ensalada tradicional asiática de papaya. Ni chile, ni ajo, ni cacahuetes, ni sabor. Sigue caminando, no hay orgullo de menú aquí.

Cozy place, nice atmosphere! Very suitable for a snack while shopping. The ramen with shrimp and the Beijing duck fried rice are highly recommended. A bit western, but that always happens with Asian restaurants. The manager (I think it was) was very friendly. We will come back again!

We hebben o.a. een Bao Bun Rendang gehad. Het leek meer op een bun met wat leek op pinda saus met een paar reepjes vlees! Totaal niet wat je zou verwachten van Rendang! En maar niet beginnen over smaak. Die was ver te zoeken. De bun was ook vreemd van smaak. We hebben ook andere gerechten gehad en die waren okay, niet groots.

Pros: Friendly and attentive waiter, the interior design is unique and interesting. Cons: Long wait for f&b. IMO, the food was bland and cooked wrongly - the chicken was grilled with the rendang gravy poured over it, so it didn't even have the rendang flavor on its own.

You will have no connection and contact with the staff because everything is done via the QR code. And when you see how uninterested your order is made, you will know why you should avoid these kinds of places. Tasteless, rubbish food of which I doubt the freshness of the garnish. Avoid Hoog Catharijne for this kind of stuff. There is so much better to discover outside this mall.

The bad reviews about the service here are very justified. I came for a quick bite to eat at 8pm after the shops closed. When I walked in there were still 2 tables that were almost finished. I plopped down at a table with a comfortable looking couch, but unfortunately... I was kindly asked to take a seat elsewhere because this was a table for 4 (the whole place was empty...) The ramen was actually quite nice , but it was not really pleasant to have the place swept out and looked at around 8:30 PM, closing time is 10:00 PM, but the girls clearly wanted to go home. Shame!

Bought a bahn mi sandwich. It was just a Dutch baguette with some Vietnamese vegetables. Very disinterested staff. I won't go here again.

It was a while ago, but I still want to share my experience. I came here with my mom and dad, hoping for a nice lunch! When we entered it was very quiet, after waiting 5 minutes we were able to sit down and the table was neatly cleared by the host. We received our menus and after deciding we were ready to place our order. After waiting 20 minutes, our drinks or food had not yet been received. While the host and another employee were chatting, we tried to make eye contact, but it didn't work. At a certain point we had had enough and left the restaurant to eat at the Lebanese (Where we eat every time we are in Utrecht, because there you will be helped well and you are guaranteed good food.) My father informed the host that we were leaving. “Wasn't the food tasty?” The host asked. We were very surprised and walked straight away. Strange course of events there. The host also had a very strange look and I think he had no idea what he was actually doing.

The food is very unpalatable. Westerners sell Asian food. After eating it, you can tell that the chef has never eaten orthodox Asian food, and he doesn't seem to pay attention to the cooking and food preservation. First of all, the fried shrimp dumplings tasted mushy and stale. I felt like vomiting after eating them. Four of them cost nearly 7 euros. The miso ramen was also terrible, with crunchy shrimps and sour eggs. Looking at the reviews afterwards, it seems that many people had problems with the eggs. I only blame myself for trying it rashly without reading the reviews first.

I came in I asked the guy if I can have a look at the menu, he did not give me the menu. So I sat to look. I wanted to switch seats from the kitchen because it was warm and waiter was like “ What’s your problem?” with very bad attitude. So I left.

When you come in you ask for a menu, you are told with attitude that you have to look outside the window, Then you want to sit down, you are not allowed because it is a table for 4 people while the table next to it had 2 people sitting there?? Then you ask about it and you are told: “Do you have a problem or something?” ridiculous service wouldn't go here!!!

This looks nothing like a real Banh Mi. There was no coriander on it, the (little) meat was heated in the microwave, and the sauce had a salad-like dressing that shouldn't be on it. For 7.50 a real disappointment.

First and last time. We will never go back again.

Tasty food but quite pricey for the amount you get. Staff is disinterested and slow. Enough cutlery is hard to find and it is a big effort if you ask for more.

Nice place, but the rendang was unfortunately not good. It was Tandori with pulled pork. The typical taste of the Rendang was hard to find. The waiter asked if we had enjoyed it. When I gave my opinion they walked away.

Had a bite to eat here while shopping, if you are really hungry I wouldn't sit here, but fine for a snack. We had a box of Asian snacks; to share. It contained 4 gyoza, 2 with shrimp, 2 fried chicken thigh pieces, edamme beans, 2 spring rolls and 3 dumpings. Everything tasted good!! Very tasty, 1 minus if you have a box to share and there are 2 people, I never understand why they put 3 of some things in it. Then do 2 or 4 pieces. Then tried 3 bao bun, rendang, pork belly and something else. The sandwiches were good, the rendang was tasty, but I personally don't think it should be on a sandwich. The bao bun had also become a bit cold (it is steamed so it cools down quickly). Staff friendly, maybe things could be a little smoother (I didn't have any problems with it myself, but I did see other guests trying to make eye contact) and the friendly manager even came with wet wipes without me asking to clean my hands.

Ate delicious soup. We'll be back. Love it!

Eating a quick sandwich turned out to be quite a disaster. Preparing 2 sandwiches took half an hour, the sandwiches were very small and not warm. Cold to lukewarm is a better description. There was very little meat, and I dared to ask €7.50 per sandwich! And the taste was okay but not special. The service also seemed rushed/uninterested. All in all very disappointing and never again.

Ate here for the second time. Service is not really alert but also felt it necessary to insult us. You would like a second glass of wine (6.=) after the starter, with the meal served, and is told that there are more people?! Excuse me ? You're at our table now, right? We didn't like that very much. My girlfriend said that too. And the waitress literally said she doesn't like her that much either. Well, yes!! These kind of catty comments?? > No dessert, no third glass of wine, no tip. I don't feel like doing this. I'm not here for that.

Honestly a super tasty meal! Staff was friendly food fast. Beer cold! And not expensive. The place is nicely decorated too. The only thing I missed was some music. Wasn't super busy and super quiet. Otherwise great!!

Had ramen. Could tell it had been made a while ago as the noodles and eggs were very overcooked. Loads of chili in the dish, which was not mentioned on the menu. Overall, it was very bland, and I make better ramen at home. Then when you want to pay, the credit card machine automatically wants you to add a tip. When I left, all my dishes were still on the table, and I should yip for that?

RIDICULOUS restaurant! As an 11 year old, I arrive there with my family and eat McDonalds and then we get a table and then a woman comes and says that I am not allowed to eat here with my McDonalds food and this has NEVER happened to me in years! RIDICULOUS! YOU WILL NEVER SEE ME AGAIN!
