Asian cuisine mix, something for everyone 👍🏽

We celebrated our wedding here. We had very pleasant contact during the preparations, and on the day itself, we had a truly fantastic afternoon/evening. The staff was top-notch and the food delicious!

I organized a drinks reception here for a group of 35 people and received really great assistance. From helping me brainstorm my space plan to the food, I highly recommend it. The staff is super helpful. There are many different types of rooms available, all with a nice, characteristic atmosphere. So, definitely a tip for events. Furthermore, the food is tasty and surprising. Do expect shared dining, with a few bites per person. So it does cost a bit more to fill up, but you will have had a great time. I found the cocktails particularly worthwhile, so be sure to check them out! It is also nice that the bar snacks have good vegan options.

We dined here on Wednesday, August 27, based on a previous excellent experience. This time, a number of dishes were substandard, with the Bento box and the scallops (very small) being particularly disappointing. Additionally, the presentation of the dishes is mediocre and could be more refined. The service was fine, but we were "forgotten" occasionally, even though a member of the wait staff claimed it wasn't very busy.

It was delicious again this time (lunchbox menu) and wonderfully cozy.

The place with a modern vibe, a fusion cuisine, and notes of asian design in interior. The food is tasty but the sizes of portions are on the smaller side, more suitable for being snacks for drinks than a full meal for shared dining. We were ordering dishes for 6 people in rounds. Everything was served fast, except a rice as a side dish. It was the slowest rice cooking in our lifes as it came in almost two hours...

Celebrated my 60th birthday at LE:EN Play. Super cool location with a DJ, snacks, and drinks for a very reasonable price. My guests were enthusiastic. Before that, we had dinner at LE:EN with 16 people. We received an incredibly delicious menu that took various allergies into account. Great!

I come here regularly and find the food and ambiance very good, but I do think the level of service really lags behind. You often have to wait a long time for them to come by, even when they don't seem very busy. Additionally, they generally seem a bit lazy. This doesn't apply to everyone individually, but it has become my general impression.

Went with the 3 of us (partner + 9 year old). Enjoyed atmosphere, food (!!) and service. Plenty of vegan choices on top of everything else (which was important to us). Would love to go again.

I had made a reservation here two weeks in advance for 18 people. Upon arrival, the reservation could not be found. Fortunately, there was plenty of space, because finding something else in Utrecht would not have been an option. The food was good, and we had a nice selection of appetizers. It sometimes took a long time for a round of drinks to be ordered, but the staff was friendly.

Last Friday, I had lunch with a friend at LE:EN. The food was very tasty!! There were 5 small dishes for two of us, and that was more than enough food. I had a scallop, the pulled duck, we had the vegan okonomiyaki, and some other tasty things. That okonomiyaki turned out to be something on a stick. It didn't remotely resemble the okonomiyaki you would expect in Japan, but it was very delicious nonetheless. I also had a Sakura cocktail, which was tasty, and their house beer, the Kingfisher ale with yuzu, was also good, although I do find 5.50 for a small beer quite expensive, but perhaps that is normal these days... The only thing was that the service was a little slow at the beginning. We were the only guests and it took a while for the menu to arrive; we were very hungry. Finally, the restaurant is located in an old factory hall, so it is sometimes a bit difficult to decorate and create atmosphere. But all in all, we had a delicious meal and went home satisfied!! Bill: 113 euros, including tip, 5 small main courses, two desserts, three iced coffees, a Kingfisher beer and a Sakura cocktail.

It is not my kind of restaurant; however, I was here for a colleague's farewell dinner. The quality was very good, even though I personally would prefer to eat at a different type of restaurant. It did exceed my expectations. Friendly staff. It is a pity that there are few parking spaces.

We had a large gathering and reserved a room at LE:EN for it. What a great atmosphere, and the service was incredibly helpful, friendly, and, despite the heat, very cheerful! The lunch was absolutely a highlight and was greatly appreciated by everyone. Thanks to the helpfulness and customer-friendliness of everyone involved in this day, we had a very pleasant and enjoyable gathering. Truly top-notch! Thank you very much! Definitely worth repeating.

The service was top-notch! One dish arrived quite late, but we were immediately provided with a solution without even asking. And the food was superb!

We have had very good experiences in the past. Unfortunately, this time was very disappointing. A lot went wrong, things were forgotten, we received the wrong drinks, and it took a very long time every time before we got our drinks and snacks. Hopefully, this was a one-off.

Great place! Super friendly and relaxed service. The food was fantastic: we had gyoza, okonomiyaki, and pulled duck. Very deliciously seasoned. The only downside is the beer prices, which are a bit off-putting. Otherwise, perfect.

Interesting place, nice cocktails, unconventional interior, games and cards available, very informal atmosphere, huge venue, garden. I found the food a bit "over the top". Too much. Simplicity would be more appropriate in my opinion.

The food was pretty gross. We had the Star Fried Chicken, which I spent 5 minutes chewing on. Prawn crackers with kale sauce (aesthetic) as a starter for 9 euros, disguised as a bento box. The atmosphere, however, was just fine. To read the menu, you need ChatGP and a magnifying glass. Overpriced.

I have eaten at LE:EN regularly and it is always good! The last time was for a special occasion. We were given a private room and were thoroughly spoiled with the most delicious dishes. The clams were so tasty! But actually, everything was amazing.

We had our wedding dinner and party at LE:EN and it was fantastic! All contact with Nina during the preparation was smooth and quite a lot was possible. Everything was well organized and on the evening itself we had absolutely no worries. The food was delicious, there were plenty of vegetarian options and allergies were taken into account, and the service was fantastic, both at the table (Milan, truly top-notch!) and in the hall. I came here for dinner with an allergy. There's an allergen list. Upon arrival, they offered to modify a salad to accommodate my allergy. However, the manager later told me that, despite agreeing to traces in the kitchen, I had to order something to be delivered because "they couldn't handle it." This, despite the fact that there were only four dishes on the entire menu that I couldn't eat due to my allergy. When I refused and said I could just eat in, even the salad that was supposed to be modified was served with my allergens in it. It was simply sprinkled on top and could easily have been omitted. The height of harassment. Disgusting and extremely unprofessional. I've honestly never been treated like that in a restaurant in my life.

Restaurant has good vibe and plenty of space. Food was good. However infelr for price the quantity of food was less. If you want to feel full be ready to spend more. Cocktails were great.

Always delicious food and the menu changes regularly enough to warrant a return visit. Not child-friendly with young children, but a very suitable place for friends, partners, or older children.

Unique location, unique setting. Something different.

Genuinely interesting ideas for the food, I don't think I've seen similar dishes in other places, almost to a point where it's maybe a bit difficult to get an idea of what to order. Not necessarily in a refined dining sense of having exotic ingredients prepared in some obscure way. It gives off the vibe of a place which picks ingredients from all over and sees how they work together. From what I tried, quite well actually. The same vibe is carried over to the cocktails where they are a fair bit more interesting than usual. The place has a pronounced aesthetic for itself in my opinion, with the location and branding sticking out. It feels like it's own place, and I enjoy it.

A charming, spacious place with a laid-back atmosphere and a wide selection on the shared dining menu, also suitable for people with allergies. Gluten-free options, for example, were no problem. Gluten-free beer is also available.

Unique food, especially the desserts. I'd prefer something a little less exotic. The artichoke in my white chocolate ice cream spoiled the flavor a bit. The other appetizers were good. They're meant to be shared, but you can also enjoy them by yourself. The sushi wasn't that great. The rice was quite hard. It's a kind of trendy, large hall. However, the chairs are quite hard (old-school chairs) and it's quite cold. Otherwise, they've made it cozy. The staff is friendly and comes by often enough. The menu is very confusing. The next dish is indicated in capital letters; that could really be clearer. Also, what is and isn't vegetarian.

The most delicious thing I ate was a raw broccoli salad 🥲

I've dined at LE:EN for the second time, this time as part of a group. The food was delicious, and the wine was excellent. The only problem was that the amount of food per table of seven was a bit too little. For a table of five, the amount was perfect. If you want to give a speech, that's quite difficult. Noise from the heating, plus the adjacent rooms where other groups were present, made giving a speech difficult. Nevertheless, it was a very successful evening.

We had a late lunch with only a few tables occupied. This gave this very large restaurant a somewhat empty feel. However, it has a lovely setting, a bit of everything, and a unique (and delicious) menu. Highly recommended!

A surprising restaurant with unique fusion combinations, primarily inspired by Asian cuisine. We were pleasantly surprised by the initially unusual combinations of ingredients, but it was delicious! The cockles, star-fried chicken, and chicken curry were our favorites.

We hosted a party at DRAIN RAW, one of their party venues. Highly recommended! Beautiful, spacious space with an outdoor patio and a great host (Jona).

For delicious food, this is the perfect place to go. The fusion cuisine offers something for everyone, and the shared dining concept is also a great success. A 5-star experience in that regard. Where there's room for improvement: the service could be sharper (drinks are slow to arrive, and they don't come around often).

I've known LE:EN for years as a surprisingly good place to eat, but this time it was disappointing. Of the eight dishes we ordered, three were very mediocre: A watermelon salad with Greek yogurt. It was supposed to come with feta and a herb salad, but I couldn't find any. Marinated and stir-fried octopus. This was a very small dish; you had to search for the octopus with a magnifying glass. Fried cauliflower. It did indeed look blackened, bland, and with a tasteless sauce. The service and atmosphere were excellent, but the food left a lot to be desired. Is the chef on vacation?

The food and drinks were delicious, but there was a slight issue with one dish that wasn't quite right, but they resolved it superbly! 🫶🏾 And the cat that sat with me was incredibly sweet and super friendly! A cool and relaxed atmosphere in an exceptional restaurant! The waitress was extremely friendly and gave us a few small menu recommendations, which we gratefully accepted! I haven't seen the dishes on the menu anywhere else, so it's definitely something for people who like to try new things! We enjoyed everything very much :)

It’s a fairly industrial setting. Service was excellent and the lovely server gave us advice on nightlife etc. food is small plates so include the chicken and rice combo. Order 2 portions of the dumplings. They come in threes and you don’t want to fight over the spare

It looks nice and is spacious. Because of the nice weather, we were able to eat outside on the terrace, which was great. The service was friendly, but they were very rushed and lacked enthusiasm. It was also almost impossible to get a hold of them, so we ended up looking for a menu somewhere ourselves, and we practically had to tackle them repeatedly to get their attention so we could order something. And "Are you familiar with our concept?" isn't the best opening line. Just say that you offer small dishes that you can share or eat alone. Despite the exciting descriptions and combinations, the food was just okay in terms of flavors, not particularly special. The dishes did arrive quickly, and three dishes per person were more than enough for us.

The place has a great vibe with a loud, industrial feel that works well for a night out. Service was good and the menu had a decent range of food and drinks. Unfortunately, the food didn't live up to the reviews. The rice wasn’t cooked properly, the sashimi smelled off, and the salad was bland. A couple of dishes were okay, but overall it felt pretty average. It might have been a one-off, but we're not planning to go back.

Delicious food, very special dishes

My God, where to start? The cocktails... I had a Naked & Famous, my boyfriend a Whiskey Sour. Both to die for. Refined and made with care. The food... The spicy broccoli salad, chicken, octopus, Okonomiyaki sticks, dumplings, ... you name it. I'm still drooling a little. Even the dips with the bread are fantastic. And all that in a super cozy environment, with top notch service. We'll be back! 10 out of 10!

It was quiet on the terrace this sunny Sunday and therefore relaxed. The food was art, really everything was special. The people in the service were very nice and very competent. The nice thing is that LE:EN is a relaxed place. We sat there for almost 3 hours, really nice.

LE:EN is a hip and creative Asian restaurant in a cool industrial building. The flavors are really special: pure, surprising and with a wide palette. Think of red beet sushi with a grasshopper - exciting and tasty. The service is friendly, thinks along and gives honest advice. Recommended: the delicious fresh house beer! The atmosphere is relaxed, with street art and a nice mix of people!
