Surprising place. A very atmospheric restaurant for a delicious meal. The plates were beautifully presented and the food tasted great. Good flavor and freshly prepared. Tip: I think the shrimp in hot oil and garlic should also have some garlic pieces in the dish. The waiter was very welcoming and friendly, and despite being busy and serving alone, he remained calm and very customer-focused.

Only had a few drinks, but we enjoyed it. Food: 5 stars for the appetizers.

We called last minute to see if we could have dinner with 18 people. This was no problem. Upon arrival, the friendly and welcoming staff member came to us. He helped us plan our table layout and rearranged it so we could all sit comfortably together. The food is, as always, excellent. The welcoming staff member had everything under control, was friendly, and was on hand to provide drinks and serve the meals quickly. The food is excellent, the location is great, the restaurant is clean and tidy, and the staff are friendly. Highly recommended!

We had a lovely meal here on a work outing. The menu is fairly standard, but there's plenty of choice, including a surprise monthly menu that was very affordable and also very enjoyable. The service was good and friendly.

There's a new owner, and the prices have gone up, but the quality of the food and service has increased even more, making it more than worth it. With Bing as the new owner, Asterdhoeve is a great place for drinks, lunch, or dinner. I've already enjoyed eating there several times. They also recently updated the interior. It has a wonderful atmosphere! Finally, a nice place in the neighborhood to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink.

Last weekend, five of us dined at the Asterdhoeve. It was a lovely atmosphere, the service was quick, and the food was delicious. The dishes were well-seasoned, and the pesto pasta for the little one was excellent. There's also a lovely terrace with a playground.

Since we moved to Breda, we've regularly visited Asterdhoeve for drinks, snacks, and now, for the first time, dinner. One thing stands out every time: the service and hospitality. We had a delicious lunch. Beautifully presented, warm sandwiches, and the vegetables were also delicious. It's been over a year since we've been there. All in all, highly recommended, especially in the summer with the (grand)children.

Delicious food on a cozy terrace. All dishes were perfectly prepared. The quantity was also perfectly fine. The only minor complaint was that the desserts were not what you'd expect. The brownie, in particular, was disappointing. But otherwise, we had a fantastic evening with friendly and extremely courteous service.

Lovely place. Delicious craft beers. A nice combination with a playground. The service could be a bit more attentive to empty glasses, new orders, new tables, etc. It would also be nice if the hedge were a bit lower so even the littlest ones could be better kept an eye on from the patio. Unfortunately, they've removed a few things from the menu, like fresh juice, liefmans 0.0, and desperados. #bringitback they really deserve a pat on the back; the hedges have been trimmed, and liefmans 0.0% is back on the menu.

Today we thought we'd walk there from home. We thought we'd have a nice drink. As we were arriving, a guy came up to us and said, "We're closing early today because of a private party." If you have a private party, you should put it on the website. I REALLY THINK THIS IS A BAD THING. It's REALLY BAD.

The kids got pancakes, but they tasted incredibly floury. Definitely not recommended. Neither of them finished them. The service was okay, but she kept walking away even though I hadn't placed my full order. The restaurant is otherwise fine! I did find the playground a bit outdated, at least in some parts.

Nice place, very friendly staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. The sandwiches were delicious, but the portions were too small for us. We were all still hungry. The sandwich could have been a lot bigger. But it was delicious and cozy.

Fantastic location for a party, everything was incredibly well organized, and the staff were exceptionally good at their work. We had dinner with friends at your place last night. My girlfriend had dietary restrictions, and they were very well taken into account. They even warned us that the fat used to fry the fries was also used for croquettes. That's thoughtful! Good selection, excellent value, and friendly, attentive service! We'll definitely be back!

The food was good, the tomato soup and fries were fine. The sauce was unnecessary, but okay. The atmosphere was good, but there were a lot of critters. The toilet door needs replacing. The staff was friendly.

After a beautiful day at the Asterdplas I went to the Asterdhoeve. There is a super cozy atmosphere on the pleasant terrace. The freshly made fish & chips tasted delicious. I will definitely come back.

Had a great experience here. We had a really good meal and the service was great! Since the switch to a new owner, this restaurant has had a major upgrade. What makes this restaurant so great is that it is in the middle of nature, which is so relaxing. There is also a playground attached to it, which is great if you want to get away with the kids. The owner is also very friendly and hospitable.

Service is friendly. And not difficult. However, the trampoline with a broom and a picnic table with a brush (for removing bird droppings) could be cleaned. That insight is apparently lacking

It took a long time before they came to take the order. It took 3 times before we got hot coffee. The first 2 times the coffee was almost cold. I thought it was quite expensive! It was nice to sit there.

Yesterday we visited Resultat. The location is of course great for warm weather and when you are with children. But the service! What a nightmare! We ordered wine for me and beer for my husband. The wine was brought after 10 minutes, but the beer was not served, because the kind he wanted was finished. Ok, he chose another special beer. After that they just forgot about us. After 20 minutes we asked the waiter to check if everything was okay. He assured us that the beer would come as soon as possible. At that time my husband waited almost half an hour for his beer. After 15 minutes I asked the waiter again and finally demanded that they bring us what we ordered. In the end, instead of special beer we got a beer. The waitress just put it on the table and walked away. We did not ask to exchange it, because we just wanted to get out of there quickly. I have a feeling that she took that beer for someone else, but because we started to push, she just gave it to us, without asking what exactly we ordered. When the bill arrived, it was of course Leffe Blond instead of beer. I seriously doubt we would visit this café again, although the location suits us and we could become regulars. There is always room for error, but waiting 45 minutes for beer and not getting what you ordered, and instead of an apology getting the wrong bill, is really bad.

Tonight we had dinner at De Asterdhoeve with a group of 12. There has been a new owner since July 2024. The (young) team presents itself on the site... Let's wait and see how that would go. Well it went well!! Food is good, atmosphere good, service polite and personal. They know what you drink after serving once. NO hassle that there is a limited menu for groups, as we have had elsewhere with this group. So hospitable. Speed ​​still deserves attention, but it doesn't have to be perfect. In short: Recommended to eat there.

Our team (company) had a great team day twice, where everything was well organized down to the last detail and we could work on the mission and vision of our company in peace and privacy. Truly a very beautiful store! Ideal day shop in the summer season, especially with children. Off season and in the evening not recommended in my opinion. Visited between Christmas and New Year's Eve. Neatly reserved for 7 p.m., after 8 p.m. on this Saturday evening it was dead and literally cold in the place. Steak (the most expensive dish on the limited menu) is no longer in stock. Hamburger as an alternative, rather sparsely decorated and not very impressively prepared for the relatively high price. Red mullet was more of an entree portion. I'm going to skip this restaurant. The employees are extremely friendly, but I think this overall experience is certainly not worth the money. I think this can and should be improved.

Wij ( 3 vriendinnen) wilden een keer dichtbij huis gaan lunchen en hadden geen zin om naar de stad te gaan. Nou...we hadden beter wel naar de stad kunnen gaan. Wij schrokken van de prijzen die ze vroegen voor de gerechten. Wij namen het goedkoopste vd lunchkaart,een tosti... Bij de wijn namen wij een charqeterie van vleeswaren van 20 euro( zie foto). Wat we kregen was bedoevend weinig.. en het was niets bijzonders. Voor ons zeker geen herhaling en weer lekker naar de stad de volgende keer.

The location is on the right track and is gaining more and more allure. Some refinement of the service and price-quality ratio. But next visit we will go for an even better experience.

We come there regularly. Since the transition to a new owner, an attempt has been made to provide a somewhat premium experience. At least... that is what the sharply increased prices suggest. But it's still just a brasserie with a playground. 18.50 for an egg roll with bacon and cheese, or 6 euros for a basic children's sandwich... that's really too expensive. Will cost customers. Furthermore, there seems to be a lot of staff turnover, who still regularly place orders at the wrong table.

Nice stopping point for the cycle route. Welcoming reception by owner. Lots of staff who show a bit of pushy behavior (glass of tea barely empty before they are already at your table). It is pricey. 4.00 euros for a cappuccino and 3.75 euros for a glass of tea!!!

The location is beautiful. Nice terrace, nice playground. I didn't think the price/quality of the food was in proportion. Caesar salad: little salad and dressing, minimal focaccia. It was a bit disappointing unfortunately. Good coffee, that is.

What a wonderful location and casual atmosphere. I had dinner here with friends for a Folding Chair Concert. Food was delicious and slightly different. Forgot my own folding chair and a chair from the terrace was immediately placed for me!! In short; flexibility, service and quality in a wonderful environment!!

Today we had dinner at Asterdhoeve with the new owner (since June this year). It was so cozy, cozy and the food was very tasty! We hebben hier geluncht en gedineerd met ons gezin. De prijzen zijn helaas wel echt bizar hoog.. ook hebben ze de liefmans alcoholvrij niet meer op de kaart (überhaupt weinig keuze alcoholvrij) en was er veel op.

The bouncer, the bacon was burnt black, unedible and the salad had flies in it when it was served. And that for such a price. We don't go there anymore.
