Had a lovely time sitting on the terrace with some background music playing🪩 The Italian waitress often came over to the table for a friendly chat, so my glass always stayed full ;) Good food and friendly staff, definitely recommended!

The overnight stay was great, beautiful room and good facilities. The shower was excellent.

After my workout, I decided to grab a cup of coffee at the atelier. To my surprise, I saw an incredibly warm and pretty girl behind the bar 👀 She recommended the crispy chicken brioche, and I just couldn't get enough. After that, I ordered a delicious yogurt granola. I was charmed by the service; with a nice smile, it was all over, and there was no turning back. ❤️😍. The terrace is just like being on vacation in France; very stylish and cozy 👍

Great food and atmosphere, but if the (new) waiter drops a full tray of beer all over your trousers and you still have to pay the full price when settling the bill, I’ll skip it next time. I had no choice but to buy a new pair of trousers to get through the rest of the day normally, so coming here was an expensive joke. Accidents can happen, but what you do have control over is how you deal with it afterwards.

This is exactly why you go into town. What a lovely spot! We actually just came for a quick beer, but the atmosphere, coziness, and good vibes meant we were in absolutely no rush to leave. Great beer, friendly people, nice service, and the kind of atmosphere where you think: I’d like to stay here a little longer. No frills, just an incredibly nice place where everything is just right. Nijmegen, you’ve added another favorite to your list. ❤️🍺 If you’ve never been here: go. We had a wonderful stay at your hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated, with great attention to detail. Our room was stylish, clean, and fully equipped. The shower was very small, but nice. The location is perfect: right in the city center, yet also a lovely place to unwind. The bar downstairs is also highly recommended. Cozy, a nice ambiance, and a delicious breakfast. In short: a beautiful boutique hotel. We would love to come back again! Thanks again for sending me my charger that I accidentally forgot – great service!!

Booked a night in room number 3. Fine room, good bed, although the bathroom is very small. Mini kitchenette (only the tap needs repairing), so you can cook yourself if you want. The ordered bottle of Cava was missing, but the staff quickly resolved it. Very quiet room, quite remarkable considering you are above a bar. Great base for exploring Nijmegen. Worth the money.

We had to wait a long time for the food. When we brought this up with the waitress, she didn't believe us that it would take a long time. After this, she clearly went to talk to another colleague about us. The staff was not friendly. The food was tasty, though.

Truly a top-notch hotel! Right in the middle of Nijmegen, with parking garages within walking distance. Everything was very clean and tidy. Check-in and check-out were well organized using an online key. There was also a nice little restaurant underneath the hotel, and the staff was very friendly.

Our first evening, we sat outside on the terrace, which was lovely. The parpadelle is highly recommended, and the fish of the day was also delicious. The service and atmosphere are always relaxed and convivial. Highly recommended!

The room was wonderful. The projector is a nice bonus. The bar downstairs is ideal! The staff was super friendly. There was a great atmosphere, and the food was delicious. It's right in the city center, so there are lots of nightlife. But you know that beforehand. If you keep that in mind, it's a fantastic location for exploring Nijmegen.

Had a lovely lunch at Atelier this afternoon. Delicious sandwiches, especially the mushroom and Gruyère toastie is highly recommended! The iced mango matcha with coconut milk is also a favorite. Nice atmosphere and good, friendly service.

We went on a sunday to have a nice relaxed brunch/lunch. It was very nice. Food is superb and a good mix of traditional and creative. The ambient is very nice, lots of things to see and look at, without beeing distractive. The service was great. A nice place to meet, chill and have a good time.

We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel. The downstairs bar was also super cozy, and we were always helped quickly. The room was nice and surprisingly there was no noise from the bar below. I highly recommend it for a weekend in Nijmegen! I also got a great tip for dinner in the evening :)

The room was great, and in our case, it had a large projection screen for watching movies and a fantastic shower. Just step out the door and you're practically in the city's shopping streets. Had a delicious lunch and a pleasant overnight stay with very friendly service (my charger, which I left behind, was promptly sent to me).

Spontaneously stopped by after drinks with colleagues. It's a great place for drinks, and the tables are cozy, but don't dine here. The main course portions are the size of a small appetizer. The food was cold, tasteless, or very sparse. One person's dish arrived 15 minutes later than everyone else's. The feedback was given during the meal, and the waitress complimented me on how she handled this. Some compensation was given on the bill and with a round of drinks, but I'm truly surprised by the poor quality of the food. I really hope the chef and owners address this, because serving this food at these prices is unacceptable. And judging by the reviews, this isn't the first time they've received this feedback.

Last week we had a birthday dinner. I had a truly fantastic evening thanks to the company. We were so well looked after by a friendly, handsome man who kept an eye on everything. There was no shortage of delicious appetizers and cocktails, and extra forks and spoons for sharing 🥰. The atmosphere is wonderful.

A cozy space and delicious cappuccino. It promised to be a great lunch. Unfortunately, I received something different than I'd ordered. The loaded toasted sandwich I'd reserved was truly awful—otherwise I would have simply eaten it—and the waiter admitted to ordering the wrong dish. The wait for my correct dish took so long that my partner had already finished it. This second dish wasn't good either: it was sprinkled with so much salt that every bite felt like a slap in the face. After a few bites, it was enough. The waiter said he would pass it on to the chef. We were offered a drink, but we'd already consumed a bottle of water so we didn't need another. However, something I suggested was removed from the bill. Almost 32 euros for 2 cappuccinos, an omelette, and 3 bites of a simple lunch dish that took too long is unacceptable. We won't be returning.

A few weeks ago on a Saturday, our family (2 adults and 2 children), plus my brother and nephew, went to eat at this restaurant without a reservation. We knew that time would be limited, but we accepted that. The plan was to order a main course and dessert. Atmosphere & First Impression The atmosphere was fine and the menu looked good on paper. Unfortunately, the execution did not live up to expectations. The Food After a considerable wait, the smashburgers arrived first: a bun with a single lettuce leaf, a leftover piece of onion, a slice of tomato, and something watery that was supposed to pass for cheddar. The burger itself was small and unimpressive. A little later, my brother's dish followed: a venison stew, served on a breakfast plate and gone in a few bites. My wife and daughter received a fish dish that fell somewhere between a soup and a main course. None of the dishes were served with the promised fries; they only arrived after some insistence, when half of our party had already finished their main course. And on top of that, only two portions for the whole table. Service & handling When settling the bill, the price was adjusted without much fuss (actually a confirmation of our complaint), but honestly, it felt like closing the stable door after the horse has bolted. In the end, we went home via McDonald’s just to feel somewhat satisfied. Conclusion For us, this was a one-time experience. A shame, because it could have been so much better.

I went to the Atelier today. I'm definitely not coming back for the food. I was charged €21 for the main course, even though there was barely anything on my plate. Two slices of tomato, two slices of eggplant, a small amount of sauce, and a buratta the size of a small ping-pong ball. It's outrageous that they charge €21 for this. When I asked the staff if the dish matched what I ordered, they cheerfully nodded "yes." The staff is friendly, but I went home hungry.

We stayed in room one, a super well-equipped room with even a small kitchenette. You could even turn it into a movie theater. There's a very cozy bar downstairs. Friendly service. Great location! And bike-friendly—we could safely store our racing bikes.

The price for the melanzana main course is ridiculous!!! You pay 21 euros and you literally get two slices of tomato with two slices of eggplant and then a mini burrata ball on top. The service was great, that wasn't the problem. But we won't be back. We left hungry (even though we still had the loaded fries). Such a shame.

Leuke plek in Nijmegen. Best een hip restaurantje. Prijs-kwaliteit verhouding is droevig. Hoofdgerechten van € 25,- met hele kleine porties. Smaak wel goed maar eten niet genoeg. Gebraden kip kwam waarschijnlijk uit de vriezer want was koud vanbinnen. Bediening was correct maar weinig hartelijk.

You are sitting here just a little bit away from the center, so it is a lot quieter and you can focus on each other.

We visited this trendy place for lunch and opted for French toast, waffles with banana and pancakes with blueberries. Although the food was delicious, unfortunately we had to wait a long time for our food. The hostess was not very friendly and seemed rushed due to the crowds. The service could certainly be better, but the food made up for it.

We had a wonderful time on the sunny terrace of Atelier. We ordered several appetizers and bar bites to share. The food tasted good, but the price-quality ratio could be better. We thought it was a bit pricey for what you get. Service was excellent, it sometimes took a while before we could get the attention of the service, but they were very friendly!

Cozy little restaurant. They were switching menus so many dishes on the menu were no longer there. That was a shame. The food was nice and fresh but not very special. A bit boring. Very friendly and helpful staff.

I don't really understand the good reviews. If you read carefully you will see that several people complain about the meager portions. Went for dinner with a friend and a main course was 23 euros. We received a chicken bone with barely any meat and few fries. We were both shocked by the meager plate and we felt really misled. It was not a full-fledged main course and the servant did not handle it well either. She indicated that this is a full main course and enough food, but it really wasn't... Fortunately we received some extra fries and we were full afterwards, but without those fries it was nowhere near enough. I would advise against dining here, as you can eat much better at other restaurants in Nijmegen for less money or the same money with better quality products and much better portions. Unfortunately I didn't take any pictures of the plates, otherwise you could judge for yourself. But you also see it in the review of the 40 euro Italian snack board. High prices for really not enough food.

Price is okay but quality could be much better for the price they charge. Their matcha is quite low grade (they use one for cooking). You can tell because of its grainy texture, muddy green colour, and its inability to dissolve easily. I was meeting chunks of undissolved matcha powder so I couldn’t continue after a couple sips. I ordered an iced latte which was also okay. They made me pay for the matcha still, which is fine but not worth it at all. The tuna melt was okay, and I don’t know what they did with the sweet potato fries there. It’s almost burnt and I didn’t want to keep eating. Aside from all that, the atmosphere is nice and the colleagues seem sweet.

I had a great time working on a nice spot with an electrical plug, with a drink and a watermelon salad, the bosa nova music playing made a nice ambience. Lots of cute couples having dates but also friend groups made for a nice environment. Super friendly staff!

Normally i am going to atelier during the day for lunch/brunch or coffee and always enjoy it. So we decided to try it out for Friday evening dinner. The place was full so we were asked to wait at the bar counter where also another group was waiting. After 45 min or so the other group got a table. We didn't. For the whole evening. Although We asked couple of times. All the tables that got free were all of a sudden for upcoming reservations. At some point we got so hungry that we decided to accept our destiny and ordered to eat at the bar. The food and the drinks are def good (but quite expensive). As the counter is also where used glasses are stored, my friend was in the end surrounded by used bottles and glasses while eating. Which is ok for a bar evening but not if i pay a lot of money for my dinner. I would come back for one drink. Def not for dinner anymore.

Staff and ambiance are very good, but the food is very economical. Price/quality ratio is hard to find. As a starter, Arno's Cheeses for €13.50 and the Charcuterie for €15. Three tiny pieces of cheese and the meat also minimal. As a main course Atelier Kapsalon for € 19.50 with pulled chicken. Lots of fries and cheese, but pulled chicken is barely visible. The chip shop is better and cheaper. I won't go back here for food. Perhaps for a drink on the terrace. Gr. Stijn

Hi! Of course I would like to give some feedback. For me, good catering is about three things: - I enjoy eating here (quality food, consistent menu with good price/quality ratio) - Am I comfortable here (comfort and acoustic) - Are they nice (staff and 'good factor'). I have been to Atelier at least 10 times now but have been disappointed in exactly those things every time. Especially the card, quality and costs. I have never actually had a good meal there (bland, dry or cold) and yet I have paid a lot every time. Bread basket 8.50, Soup 9 euros, A pot of boiling water 7.30, Croissant 4 euros, Peppers with salt 8.20, portion of fries 7 euros and the last time it was limp and cold. After saying something about this, nothing was actually done about it. If you want something without bacon, 2 euros will be deducted, but if you want bacon with something, 3 euros will be added. The prices don't feel seriously calculated and fair. A hair salon fries 21 euros. Drinks around 40 euros and too often consist of bread, half a hamburger and fries (20 euros per person should be main course size). Not to mention the cost of cocktails or a main course like Beijing duck with bao buns for 30 euros. A restaurant price but not restaurant quality. I think these kinds of prices are becoming discriminatory for a large part of society and would even be high for most comparable drinks places in Amsterdam. That's fine if you appeal to a different/richer target group, but then the quality must also be as it is in many places in Nijmegen in that segment, and that has never been the case until now. In my opinion, Atelier is a bar/(dining) cafe and not a restaurant or ''bistro bar'' a la Glassware, Trafo, Cafe Klein where you pay the same (or less) and eat better. Make the card smaller and simpler so that the quality is just good. A smile also goes a long way... The younger girls in the service do that well. Hope it helps! X

Normally speaking well about the Atelier. Very disappointed this time. Ordered a “luxury” Italian/Spanish platter for 40 euros. The snack board was very sparse, the food on the board was not particularly tasty. We had asked for extra Spanish ham (which was also on the menu as an extra for €2.50) but we got two small slices of salami. When we indicated that we had ordered Spanish ham, the waitress came and took the two slices of salami from our plate with her bare hand and placed some Parma ham on it. In our opinion, the same waitress had little knowledge of wine, so we received a wine that was not to our liking. We expressed our disappointment to the staff, but there was little response. In short: disappointed. Lost 80 euros and dissatisfied.

Mega tasty lunch! Tuna melt is melt-in-your-mouth delicious. Is a glass of wine too early for brunch? Then the coffee is highly recommended here. Furthermore, a top spot with lots of sun on the terrace.

Pretty nice place to visit not far outside of the center of Nijmegen. Ordered Sangria and the result was pretty nice. Cold and sweet as it should be! The price for a liter is pretty pretty fair as well. Would have bought a second one if we didnt't have to drive!

A place where you can study, relax, catch up and of course have a good time. Colleagues who you can consider as friends and who make you feel at home within the A-team! Friends come and go, but Atelier will always exist :).

Besides a very pleasant cooperation with the two spontaneous and driven owners, I am also surprised every time by the delicious food and good cocktails. By now I have been here several evenings in the week and it is always busy here. From Monday until Sunday. The living room vibe gives a familiar atmosphere that feels like home. Surely this is a must visit in Nijmegen.

Erg onvriendelijk personeel, mega arrogant ook. Bij binnenkomst werden we naar een lege tafel gestuurd, maar toen we wilden gaan zitten, werd er verteld dat we gelijk konden vertrekken want er was echt geen plek. Er gingen twee vrouwen aan de desbetreffende tafel zitten die al aan de bar zaten. Dus vroegen wij of we daar aan de bar konden gaan zitten, ‘nee nee, echt geen plek hoor’. Eens en nooit meer!

We thought we would have a nice snack and a drink, but were immediately shown the door by very arrogant and antisocial staff as soon as we arrived at the available table as it was full (!!), while upon arrival we were told that there was still a table available. and we could walk there. We were approached by other guests that they also thought it was a very special way of communicating.

I was here on a weekday evening. Nice tent for a good drink. Different seats, high, low, active sitting and relaxing. Something for everyone. Attractive decor. Nice and attentive staff.
