Attentive and friendly service. Large, inviting terrace with good heaters. Wide selection of beers.

We had a lovely outdoor meal under the shade, with heat lamps. The food was substantial. The food arrived quickly, and the service was consistently prompt.

The men's toilet smells of old urine and that's not the first time, so give it a good scrub.

We were here last Friday, had a great evening, but I think my first beer had been open for a day and was completely dead. I initially thought it might be the dishes/soap, but the flavor and carbonation were completely gone. I mentioned it, but I still had to pay the full €5.

A lovely cafe for a drink or a get-together. Long opening hours and an extensive menu. A wide selection of beers, wines, cocktails, and other dishes. I had the Spinata Romana pizza with the cheese soufflés. The pizza is generously topped and delicious. The cheese soufflés were nicely served on a plate with various sauces. The cafe is a traditional Dutch pub with a beautiful interior and comfortable seating along the wall. You can also sit at the bar or on the terrace. The staff is friendly and helpful. It didn't get 5 stars because the prices are quite high. You can get Paulaner for a euro cheaper at another cafe. The quality is good, though. I'll definitely be back, and compliments to the friendly staff.

Cozy terrace, delicious lunch (recommended: potato waffles with salmon) and excellent service.

I got rudely shoved by a staff member during a music event today. I was standing outside with my friends because I couldn't handle people shoving me around inside the café to see the band, and one of the male staff servers with long hair tied into a ponytail shoved me against my friend way harder than necessary to get me out of the way, while everyone else around us agreed that there was more than enough space for him to walk without having to bump anyone to the side. No apology or even a single look back.. but hey! At least he mumbled a lame "excuse me" before rudely pushing me into my poor friend. So all is good, right? Right? But whatever, I hope the money I spent here contributes to a boxing class where he'll be able to release this pent up aggression. Sounds alot better than shoving random customers who weren't even in the way, am I right? Anyway go here if you want, the guy's probably great when he's not shoving people for no reason.

First time here for a drink and lunch. The atmosphere is very cozy and busy. Friendly staff, and good service. The food was fine...a 7.5. The toilets on the other hand could have been much better. Loose seat, one clogged, and cleaning...uhmm yes.

Café de opera is without a doubt a top place to sit on the terrace, but also to have a drink or to sit all evening. They have a wide range of (special) beers and other drinks. With multiple changing taps, the range is constantly changing. This way you can try something new every time you go back. You can also follow on Untappd what they currently offer for special beers. The snacks are also very tasty. With a beautiful spacious terrace on the Koningsplein it is always cozy. And because of the availability of heaters, the terrace can always be used in bad weather. But of course you can also just sit in the cozy interior. It feels warm and cozy. All in all, if you are in Nijmegen, definitely stop by the Opera!

You're sitting there comfortably. Service is ok. You may wonder how difficult it is to fry fries and heat up a breaded fish stick. Make sure that something so simple is something that you as a business can be happy with.

Neergestreken voor de lunch. Heerlijke sandwiche met brie en peer. Vlotte bediening en leuke sfeer. Cafe ligt op een leuk plekje zodat je ook lekker op terras kan zitten (En vermaakt kan worden :-) )

Cozy outdoor terrace with heaters and nice view!

Cosy spot in the Koningsplein to have a beer and some snacks. During the winter they also put some heaters outside so that you can sit in the terrace. The service is good and friendly. I always like to meet here to catch-up with friends over drinks!

Wouldn’t recommend for more than a drink. Risotto with shrimps AND turkish sausage already raised some flags but I gave it a try. It had nothing to do with a risotto. It was some unsalted rice with melted cheese and 5 shrimps( not entirely cleaned either). Completely tasteless. We also had some Nachos libre Opera style… I thought nachos couldn’t be bad but I was wrong. Apart from that, service was good and atmosphere was also nice.

Yesterday we watched a beautiful and exciting Turkiye football match on the terrace. What a nice and enjoyable evening it was with the other spectators! Thanks for the fast service.

it's a view and a unique sense of peace

Had a lovely lunch outside on the terrace, with a delicious hot chicken sandwich with a nice glass of white wine.

Sat on the terrace this evening. The service is very friendly. We don't have to wait. Tasty drinks and good bitterballen. Toilet was clean. In short: completely good.

We enjoyed lunch at Opera last Tuesday and Wednesday, and it was excellent. The food was very tasty, especially the warm ham was a highlight. The combination with the coleslaw salad was delicious. Yesterday we again enjoyed a delicious lunch at Opera. A suggestion for improvement would be to add an allergen list to the menu, so that it is not necessary for the waiter to always consult the chef. This would save both time and energy. Of course, Opera deserves a 5-star rating. Thank you very much for the excellent experience and the friendly staff!

Heerlijke kop linzensoep, geserveerd met brood, als lunch tijdens een dagje shoppen. Ook de gemberthee en cappuccino zijn dik in orde.

We kwamen hier om lekker wat te borrelen, bier en nacho’s , daarna besloten om hier te eten en dat pakte goed uit, eend met rijst , partner had linzensoep , allemaal lekker , bediening goed

Incredible venue for food. Location is super central, the food is really good, particularly the hamburger, the falafel, and risotto, and the portions are very filling. The waiters (Tibbe in our case) are all extremely friendly and considerate and the chef (Spanish speaking) was so accommodating with respect to allergies and dietary restrictions In fact he stated that it was a challenge to design a dish that is delicious, nutritious and allergen free. Highly recommended, by far my favorite spot in Nijmegen!!

Leuke sfeer . Gestopt voor een snelle lunch. Salade met carpaccio genomen . Dit was top ! Snelle en vriendelijke bediening.

Great range of beers, good bitterballen

Although the service was good, the beef burgers were not great. I expect a beef patty to be made up of minced beef and almost be crumbly when you cut into it. This beef patty was compressed and firm and not particularly tasty.

Pero lo que realmente me impresionó fue la terraza al aire libre. Es el lugar perfecto para disfrutar de una variedad de cervezas y bebidas mientras disfrutas del buen clima. Y para los amantes de la comida, no puedo dejar de recomendar el fish and chips. Es una delicia increíblemente sabrosa y perfectamente preparada que definitivamente querrás probar. Sinds lang weer eens in de Opera geweest. Goede keus in bieren. Personeel is een ander verhaal, kun je ook een cijfer onder de nul geven voor betrokkenheid met de gasten? Er werd gewerkt en ieder kreeg zijn bestelling maar daarmee heb je het dan ook gelijk helemaal gehad. Horeca is meer dan drankjes inschenken als een robot. Zeker met de prijzen van vandaag. Jammer!

Cafe Opera is the place to be. The definition of a good bar. Really good quality when it comes to food and drinks and also, really warm, welcoming and helpful staff. The prices are where they should be and everything is topped with good music.

Attente en alerte bediening! Was gezellig. Wc's ruiken inderdaad niet zo fris.

Leuke en alerte bediening. Lekkere snacks, goeie selectie aan bieren. Hond mocht binnen liggen en kreeg drinkbak. Toiletten ruiken alleen niet zo fris.

Leuk café, met een wat groter speciaalbier aanbod. In combinatie met de borrelkaart erbij een mooie tent om even een drankje te doen!

Gezellig café , we wilden iets eten en drinken , echter kwamen we niet verder dan een kopje thee , terwijl bediening zag dat we in de kaart aan t kijken waren , nadat we de thee op hadden zijn we maar gegaan. jammer!

Fijn terras. In de herfst heel royaal 4 verschillende bokbieren van te tap. Koren op de molen van iedere bok liefhebber

Ons favoriete cafe. Je kan binnen op veel verschillende plekken zitten. Wij zitten hier ook graag omdat er altijd leuke muziek op staat. (Rock etc.)

Dit blijft 1 van mijn favoriete cafés van Nijmegen! Gezellige locatie (koningsplein). Vlot personeel met kennis van de biertjes die op de kaart staan! Ook voor een hapje eten is dit een prima plek. Leuk sfeervol plein!!

Supersnelle service, ondanks de drukte op de twee terrassen. Broodje met twee kroketten en iets te drinken besteld. Deze bestelling werd ook snel uitgevoerd. Broodje met de 2 kroketten bleken twee heerlijke maisbroden te zijn, met salade en mosterd en mayonaise. Kroket was heerlijk met veel vlees. Dat ze na onze vraag om af te rekenen dat even vergeten waren zij ze vergeven. Klasse!

Altijd verassende bierkaart, prijzen schieten wel de pan uit..

Chicken wraps besteld, deze wraps lagen open op mijn bord met wat stukjes kip erin. Het was makkelijker te eten als ze dicht waren en het zou er leuk uitzien. De kip was ook niet heet maar alsof deze al een tijdje op het bord lagen. Het duurde ook een half uur voordat we geholpen werden, we stonden op het punt weg te gaan toen er iemand kwam om te helpen
