I was enjoying a lovely Wednesday evening at the bar yesterday. However, I was suddenly shocked the next morning when I saw that I had been charged €19 for a single beer. Conclusion: a ball shop.

When this was still Malle Babbe, it was still quite doable. Nowadays it is an atmosphereless place where a real Nijmegen resident would not want to be caught dead.

The security guard was not friendly at all

Security guard was very unfriendly. Told friends he regretted letting us in. We immediately left because of this, the guard then pulled on a friend's arm and said that we looked at him angrily and made fun of him. In our opinion this was not the case and we felt very insulted. Normally a very nice pub, but it's a shame that this security guard ruined it for us.

Premium prices on a night out, incapable staff, negative atmosphere

Can be a very nice pub. The disadvantage is that it is really a favorite pub of certain study associations. If you are not a member, you may sometimes get the feeling that you are not really welcome in the pub.

My friends and I were about to go to this club on Thursday night. However, upon meeting with the bouncer, we were denied entry due to one of my friend's skin colour. The bouncer said to us in dutch that we cannot enter because "he is with us" pointing to my black friend. It was appalling. Therefore, we decided to head to Cafe Van Buren, where we ended up having a great time!

Always pleasant and nice staff, often not very busy unfortunately.

We come here every Thursday with the study association. Quite a nice café, but it only gets lively after half past twelve. Nice music, nice bar staff too

Bit cramped, but good music and friendly bar people. Excellent price-quantity ratio for the lager. The Cuba Libre is a bit pricey.
