Atlas Taste in Amstel III/Bullewijk

A week and a half ago, I made a reservation at Atlas Taste (via TheFork) for a concert at the Arena. I received confirmation of the reservation. Today (the day of the reservation), I suddenly received an email saying they were closed for a private event! They suddenly rented out the entire place this morning? It's impossible to find anything else just a few hours before a big event. What incredibly poor service; they don't seem to care much about their customers. You have to give at least one star, unfortunately. The food might have been fine, but we didn't get a chance to find out, so I can't give it more than one star. Service... I rest my case... Ambience? The preparatory atmosphere ruined the evening out. Next time? No thanks, Atlas Taste, we'll skip you from now on.

We were with a group before a concert in the Arena. Parked in P10 and the restaurant is easily accessible and also close to the Arena. Great food and the staff did their best. Accessible menu.

Food was really good and value for money

Nice place tucked away on the Atlas site. If you are in the area with some colleagues, definitely drop by! Very good vegetarian options!

We had a really bad experience before the Pink concert. We had made a reservation in advance and arrived early so we could go on time. It was really busy. Starter and drinks were fine. But then the main course. Everyone got their food except us. At one point people came in who were ready before us. We had already told them a few times, but nothing happened. We started to stress him out because it was almost 2 hours later and we still didn't have a main course. We had a new waiter who probably hadn't passed on our main course to the kitchen. He couldn't do anything about that, but then the manager has to intervene. After walking to the kitchen 3 times we finally got our food. We gave up like crazy, because we almost missed the support act. We went to the manager for compensation. He showed no empathy for the situation at all. Really ridiculous, we were there at 5pm and got our main course at 7pm. While everyone else was being served in between. I understand that they were busy, but then you have to say no. If you can't serve your customers on time. With great difficulty we got 1 drink as compensation. But we will never go there again.

The goat cheese salade was more like an expensive side salad. I was still hungry after. It’s just little pieces of cheap goat cheese and mostly lettuce. It’s so easy to make a good goat cheese salad, I can do better at home, so this is really not ok.

Great place for dinner before going to a concert at the Arena. We thought the goat cheese salad for dinner was very little. Luckily we got some bread with it. If you pay inside, don't forget to take your table number with you ;-).

Absolutely a gem of a place. Food is excellent, atmosphere is good and the staff are the best I have experienced in the Netherlands. Will be making this a favourite.

We wanted to have a bite to eat here before a concert. Had to wait almost an hour for the food to arrive and it was disappointing. Service was not good, I understand it was busy but this made no sense.

Food was fine but service very slow. We had to wait 30 minutes for the order to be taken. And that was after asking 3 times if we could be helped

A beer I ordered was really spoiled and not good anymore but because I waited 20 minutes before saying this they told me that beer tastes like this after 20 minutes 😅 So I had to pay for it. Never. Again.

Enjoyed a delicious lunch. Croque monsieur is highly recommended.

Nice supermarket, but they did not have the offers from my bonus box in stock. That was a shame.

Limited basic "brasserie" menu and, despite this, several of the tapas options that were on the menu were missing. Restaurant side, very high prices and limited choice. We should have known better. An aperitif, some tapas and...goodbye!

We come here regularly for lunch. Tempo is great, friendly team and always tasty. Portions are in good order. Location is central and quiet.

Not a very large menu, but the food was delicious.

We came across this place by accident, but in the end we were not disappointed that we decided to sit here. The choice of food is not very large, but the sandwiches taste very good and are richly packed. The hamburgers also tasted very good and the seasoning of the potatoes packed in the "side dish" was great.

No starters, limited main courses. No alternative as starters. Deception.

Nice place for after work drinks and dinner and also work lunch. I used to go here very often, since it was named Absolute Taste, for 5 years, as I worked in the area. I used to love their fries, however recently they made the portions much smaller. There are many good food options, also healthy. The price-quality is good here and the staff is always friendly and helpful.

Cafe for people to grab a drink after work. We booked with food 50% discount but turned out that salad was somehow not part of this offer. Not many light options (like a full meal salad), only burgers. Chips are really good. Beer is about 6 eur.

Requests during reservations (for 2 different reservations) will not be passed on to the kitchen: menu preferences, or allergies/dietary requirements. Unfriendly staff. The service came across as rude. Did not return to answer a question after the food was first served in a grumpy manner. Management has no sense of humor and doesn't laugh. Kok reacts grumpily when asked whether the allergies had been passed on, but luckily he recovered. Servers push people aside to collect plates or serve drinks. All the food is put on the table at the same time, so there was little space on the table. All in all, not my preferred location, but conveniently next to offices.

Very friendly staff, the dishes were served quickly at our request (due to traffic jams and events), with an events menu card with sufficient choice. Very tasty! Nicely decorated restaurant. Top!

Absolute Taste is plek om met collega's na het werk bij te praten onder het genot van een biertje of wat fris en bitterballen. Dit maakt het ook een drukke plek terwijl de locatie toch wat verscholen ligt. De bediening is vriendelijk en behulpzaam, maar helaas zijn de maaltijden van een redelijk niveau. Dus om te borrelen is het zeker de moeite waard ook omdat er terras is met voldoende schaduwplekken.

Goed sfeer, mooi aankleding, vloote bediening

Hele leuke zaak, we verwachte er niet veel van toen we de buitenkant zagen maar de look en deel binnen is top! Goede service en lekker gegeten, zeker een aanrader

Fijne tentoonstelling, goed eten en beeldschone en heel goede bediening

Op zoek naar een goed hoofdgerecht, voor een concert in de Ziggodome, kwamen we spontaan uit bij dit restaurant. Aangenaam verrast: erg leuke ontvangst door de enthousiaste bediening. Ook heerlijke gegeten, de burger en zalm waren uitstekend. Ook de kok zelf kwam nog even vriendelijk en gemeend informeren. Deze plek is echt een aanrader. Was het meer dan leuke begin van een topavond.

I am a vegetarian. Selection from the sugar dough bread with vegetable croquette & hummus was good. Vegetarian salad was just OK. I liked coffee verkeered more than the cappucino. Orange juice is too good.

Eten was van prima kwaliteit. Eigentijds menu en ruime keuze. Vrije locatie. Altijd een prima plek om een zakenlunch te houden.

‘Absolute waste’ :) The food is not bad at all but overcharged by 50% percent.

Loved the ambience and speed of service .. only let down was the queue to buy beer . Specially when you are 2-3 beers down and you want the next one coming in quick ... But overall loved the place !!!

Prima Sandwiches. Geen standaard werk. Vlees, vis, vega, mooi opgemaakt. Snel maar niet gehaast. Vlot, vriendelijk personeel.

Vlotte service op een drukke dag. De dames van de bediening waren oplettend en liepen niet te stressen ondanks dat er grote groepen voetbal supporters binnen waren.

Geen culinaire hoogstandjes verwachten, wel smakelijke fatsoenlijke hoeveelheden voor een gemiddelde prijs.

We where here on a Friday. It was quite busy and the music was way to loud! Couldn't hear anything my friends said and had to ask if they could turn it down. The wine was nice but expensive and the food was nothing special

Fine place to have a drink or bite. Casual is the leading dress code.

Ik heb er weer goed gegeten en gezellig bijgepraat

Service was great. The lady that was looking after us was very pleasant with a big natural smile. We both had burgers (i didnt feel great so didnt feel for a heavy big dinner) which tasted real good. Serving style was playful. Prices were good, setting was good. Definately going back here!!

Eten was prima, bediening was heel vriendelijk en vlot. Jammer dat er in het toilet geen zeep was en dat het er ook niet fris rook. Het restaurant was overigens onberispelijk.
