I thought it was a good atmosphere and good food and good service, so I walked into the restaurant, but I ordered chicken nuggets and raw beef (because I don’t eat beef) and Caesar salad. I waited for an hour and the waiter didn’t come. I asked the waiter and the reply was: I don’t know. Why did we order raw beef? You didn't order Caesar salad and the kitchen was closed. But at this time, the table next door was still taking orders. And the dishes are served one after another. This is truly the restaurant with the worst service I have encountered during my trip to Europe.

I had a very bad feeling. I thought the atmosphere was high-end, but the service attitude was extremely poor. The meal I ordered was different from the meal that was delivered. I even said "I don't know why you ordered this". After ordering, no other meals were served. I replied that if we want to have a meal again, we have to tell them that there are four of us and we are only going to have a meal for one person. Don’t the others need to eat? In the end, a friend's order never came out. They said, "We didn't order it. It's really an exaggeration!" In the end, it didn't even come out. Llevo aquí desde 1989. El fin de semana pasado el servicio fue excelente. Nos atendieron dos personas, una acababa de empezar y ella era genial, al igual que el otro camarero. Pensé que me había dejado la bufanda y el sombrero ahí así que pasé esta mañana a revisar. Elegí deliberadamente un momento tranquilo. La camarera, una mujer pequeña e impaciente era extremadamente antipática. Tiró una caja muy llena de artículos dejados junto a la barra y se marchó. Después de un rato ella pasó y le dije que habría sido probable que mis cosas hubieran estado encima, ya que no hace mucho tiempo que las perdí. Ella reaccionó irritada y dijo: "No tengo ni idea. Nunca miro en la caja" Ella era bastante horrible. Incluso después de todos estos años se puede posponer volver cuando el servicio es malo y la camarera tan grosera.

Cozy atmosphere, beautiful decor. The food was luke warm. The Bisque consisted of a large bowl of whipped cream with a cube of lobster stock, and the boeuf bourguignon was just a tasteless gulasch. Staff very stressed. I had digestive problems all night, the food was so greasy. Prices way too high, factory desserts between 15 and 20€. Never again.

Voorafgaand aan een concert hier gedineerd. We konden in de serre plaatsnemen, een fijne plek. Kleine kaart, maar de tournedos was heerlijk. Bijgerechren apart bestellen. Groenten een ondergeschoven kindje in zo'n luxe restaurant. Dat was niets bijzonders. Beetje sla, croutons en veel saus. Zeer vriendelijke bediening. Dessert was goed, geen uitleg bij de kaasplank. Toiletten, netjes. Kortom prima plek met een paar aandachtspunten.

After the performance in the Concertgebouw, we walked into Brasserie De Keyzer for a drink. What a bad thing! To start with, the service is poor, the waitress couldn't even remember the order and while we were the first to arrive in the conservatory after the concert in the Concertgebouw, we were the last to be served half an hour after the order, with an incorrect and even more expensive sback on top of that. . The prices are disproportionate to the quality. A glass of Rioya costs 10.50 here and 4 shrimp croquettes 20 euros! I don't mind spending €50 for a drink if something special is served. But in this case you will find average quality for a ridiculous price. The place pretends to offer an imperial menu and drinks list, but in reality it is a poorly run ball joint.

We werden niet naar onze tafel begeleid waardoor we dicht bij 'n ander stel kwamen en de man van dat stel vond dat we te dichtbij zaten. Mijn servet lag verkeerd met de zoom naar boven en 't bestek lag ook fout. De ober droeg 'n t-shirt , vind ik niet kunnen. De entrecote was droog en taai, ik heb er twee happen van genomen. Geen excuus of 'n andere entrecote maar wel moeten betalen. De chocoladesaus was niet goed warm en kwam in klonten uit 't kannetje. Restaurant De Keijzer bevind zich in 'n neerwaartse spiraal ! Ga er niet heen !

Exceptionally bad thing!! make you wait a very long time, the sole of the 5 main courses turned out to be sold out at 6 p.m.! So you order a sirloin steak, after an hour and a half of waiting the waiter casually says, the sirloin steak is also gone, we still have some chicken! And then your concert starts at 8 p.m. and your partner is diabetic and needs to eat something. Even the waiter thought the cook was a disaster! So don't do that!!

Absolute RAMP zaak, echt niet doen! je komt om 18.00 uur, ze laten je lang wachten en je merkt al dat de organisatie een puinhoop is. Van de 5 hoofdgerechten is de tong a lom 18.00 uitverkocht! Dan maar twee entrecote , na anderhalf uur ergernis komt de ober even melden dat de entrecote er ook niet is.........!?! En daar zit je dan met een partner die diabeet is, onder heeft, moet eten en je concert begint zometeen ... De ober melde al een andere baan te gaan zoeken en de kok vond hij waardeloos. Gewoon niet gaan eten daar, knudde!

Slechte service. Voorgerecht oesters. Zeer kleine oesters die na lang wachten kwamen. Na nog ruim een uur wachten kregen we de mededeling dat het hoofdgerecht niet meer geserveerd zou worden. Dezelfde mededeling kregen de tafeltjes om ons heen. Aanvankelijk dachte we nog aan een slechte grap, maar de ober kwam met de rekening. Omdat we om 20.00 uur in het concertgebouw moesten konden we ook nergens anders meer eten. Buitengewoon slecht voor een restaurant dat vroeger zo goed bekend stond. Nooit mee bezoeken

Vanouds gaan we vooraf aan een concert naar De Keyzer en dat was altijd een feest. We hadden op tijd afgesproken voor het diner, al om 18.00 uur. Het concert zou om 20.00 uur beginnen dus we hadden geen haast. Maar gaandeweg in het restaurant werden we hoe langer hoe ongeduldiger. We kregen snel een drankje aangeboden, maar daarna was het wachten op de kaart. We bestelden een voorgerecht en een hoofdgerecht. Het voorgerecht werd uit het hoofd opgenomen en we vroegen ons af of dat goed zou gaan. Helaas niet. Ik kreeg een ander gerecht, dat ik echt niet wilde. De anderen aan tafel begonnen aan het voorgerecht en ik moest dus langer wachten. Het gerecht kwam en was heerlijk, pigmentos piedron, heerlijke zachte geroosterde groene pepertjes, maar het venijn zat in de staart: het laatste pepertje bleek ontzettend héét te zijn. Van de bediening kreeg ik snel wat suiker om het brandende probleem op te lossen, maar dat was een vervelende ervaring, onverwacht! Inmiddels was het 19.00 uur geweest, ik had een glas wijn besteld, maar dat kwam niet. Om tien voor half acht vroeg ik of onze bestelling zou kunnen komen en ja, daar kwam het aan. Heel lekker, gebakken dorade en sperzieboontjes. Maar geen wijn. Dat liet ik weten aan de bediening, maar die had het erg druk met andere gasten, er was te weinig personeel. Daarom liep ik zelf naar de bar om de wijn op te halen, inmiddels besloten we een half glas te nemen, omdat we snel weg moesten. Ik drong erop aan om het meteen te krijgen, anders hoefde het niet meer. Dat lukte. Na het afrekenen (geen tip deze keer) bleken we de drie halve glazen wel cadeau te hebben gekregen, een fijne tegemoetkoming. Eten was dus lekker, maar door te weinig personeel (het was helemaal niet druk) moesten we toch te lang wachten en ontstonden er foutjes. Jammer. We waren anders gewend. Hoop dat er snel nieuw personeel wordt gevonden. Succes daarmee!

I visited this restaurant Tuesday evening, May 14, hoping to enjoy a flavorful meal, but unfortunately my experience was far from satisfactory. The Pasta Arrabiata I ordered was downright awful. After just one bite, all I could taste was a taste of nothing. It seemed like the chef forgot to actually season the pasta or maybe even make the sauce. To ease the pain of the tasteless pasta, I ordered the Bread Deluxe, but that turned out to be another disappointment. The bread was so tasteless it felt like I was chewing air. Even a touch of butter would have been a welcome addition, but unfortunately even that was too much to ask. In an attempt to add some flavor to the meal, I ordered the Asparagus Soup. Unfortunately, this dish was also a miss. The soup was too bland and more like water with a hint of asparagus flavor than a flavorful soup. It was a disappointing end to a series of failed dishes. When I expressed my dissatisfaction to the wait staff I was treated with an extremely unprofessional attitude. Instead of taking my complaints seriously, I was offered a lame solution: "Would you like Tabasco with your pasta?" This lack of respect for customer satisfaction and lack of effort to provide a decent solution was nothing short of disappointing. All in all I cannot recommend this restaurant to others. The dishes are bland and the staff doesn't seem interested in providing a positive experience to their customers. There are plenty of other eateries nearby that offer much better options. So better give this restaurant a big miss.

Absolutely appalling service! We arrived with our child and asked where to park the stroller. Initially directed to a corner, another staff member later made a rude comment about ‘normal people.’ This level of disrespect is unacceptable. Not only was the service unfriendly, but the prices were exorbitant for subpar quality. To top it off, when we tried to change our baby, the restroom was ill-prepared with no essentials. Adding insult to injury, another couple without children left abruptly, clearly put off by the disrespectful behavior. Save your money and sanity – avoid this place at all costs. We certainly won’t be returning, and we urge everyone else to steer clear too! as

By far the worst restaurant I have ever been to. Waiting for a menu: 20 minutes. The table is only cleaned upon request, an ashtray full of butts from previous guests is left behind. Asked twice to replace it and then the dirty ashtray is put back. The servants all have faces like earworms and when you ask something you see their faces turn. Food is certainly good, but not much for a lot of money. I forgot to order some potatoes and when I asked for them the kitchen was suddenly closed and I could only get fried fries. And that frying also took 20 minutes. At the end the shift of the earworms was over and a man came who was friendly and knew how to make guests happy. This also applied to a woman who was very friendly, but unfortunately she worked indoors.

Lovely venue, I was lucky when I dropped in and asked for a seat they were able to assist. It was the Kings birthday after all. I had a lovely French Chardonnay. Ordered Tomato soup with Fries to have together, they were delicious. The soup had some delicious bread to accompany. The service was a 4, only because I was given no menu at all. Then given a food menu and no drinks menu. Overall still a 5 from me.

All I can say is Annie. Annie was our bartender/server as we always prefer to sit at the bar when available and she was absolute perfection. She was so nice and welcoming and we actually came back a second time because of her. She’s super expedient too as we watched her work the floor from one end to the other. I will also say that the Oriental Salad was to die for as well as the Gin and Tonics. Great combination. The restaurant is beautiful and busy and you can tell it gets lots of regulars. We are definitely going to become regulars when we visit the next time. I definitely recommend this place. Say hi to Annie.

The short Chinese woman who works there is rude and very abrupt. Incredibly terrible tent, only people "from on high" who look down on you, both the service and the terrible people who are there. You are not even looked at or helped. Also saw several people leave without being helped. The prices are not about anything, but that is of course necessary if no one comes and you are sitting in that place.

Favorite brasserie of my late father. We have often had very tasty meals there. Had two "twelve hours" with my wife today. It took more than 20 minutes for it to arrive on the table. Unfortunately, not fantastic. Tomato soup was made from unripe tomatoes that also ended up on the salmon roll. Both salmon and the horseradish sauce tasted of nothing, the sandwich should have been ciabatta, it was just a pistolet. The lunch menu had no creativity at all. Full of croquettes from a well-known brand. There are sandwich shops in Amsterdam that provide much better quality at a more attractive price. It's a shame that Brasserie Keyzer has become a shadow of its illustrious past in recent years. Unfortunately I can't recommend it more if the menu doesn't improve. The service was also friendly and helpful

암스테르담 열흘 여행의 마지막 날 어머니와 갔었어요. 열심히 검색해서 찾아갔던 맛집들에 뒤지지 않는 맛과 분위기였습니다. 음식은 굿. 하지만!!! 메뉴판도 몇번이나 불러야 가져다주고, 주자마자 바로 뭘 시킬 것인지 물어보더니 시간을 달라고 하자 20분만에 여러번 불러서 다시 저희 테이블에 점원이 왔어요. 우리보다 늦게 온 사람들은 이미 음식을 받을 시점에 ... 그리고 다른 테이블에서와 저희 테이블에서의 서비스 태도가 달랐습니다. 가게의 90%가 백인이었고 옷차림으로 미루어보아 관광객은 그리 많지 않았는데 아시안인 저희 모녀에게는 웃음기 없이 사무적으로 대하고, 다른 테이블에서는 흔히 볼 수 있는 유연한 태도였어요. 다행히 저와 어머니는 암스테르담에서 보낸 대부분의 시간 동안 인종차별을 당하지 않았고 성숙하고 친절한 사람들을 많이 만나서 마지막 날 마주한 이런 불친절에는 그저 허허 하고 웃어 넘겼습니다. 비행기 시간이 많이 남아 메뉴를 오래 기다려도 괜찮았고요. 나올 때는 웃으면서 나왔습니다만, 어머니를 모시고 갔었고, 계속 스스로 영어가 부족해서 그런가, 옷차림이 너무 관광객이라 그런가, 아시안이라서 그런가 - 그렇게 생각하게 만든 것은 나빴다고 봅니다. 결론은, 음식과 분위기는 괜찮았으나 - 서비스는 좀 안타까웠네요.

Mijn grootmoeder nam me als jongen mee hier naartoe. Maar alhoewel erg gezellig, is de verfijning ver te zoeken. De twee personeelsleden waren super aardig, attent en vriendelijk. De cheffin cq bedrijfsleider ging minder goed om met feedback. Een sole a La meunière moet gefileerd worden maar we kregen het hele ding, te hard gebakken want het staartstuk was verbrand, toen ik vroeg of we dat zelf moesten doen had de ober geen idee hoe dat zou moeten, de cheffin zei bijna verwijtend dat ik Dat van te voren had moeten zeggen. Nu werk ik al 43 jaar in de horeca dus dat tongetje deed ik zelf wel , voor mij én mijn tafelgenoot. Maar ik had meer verwacht. Suggestie: wanneer de gast vraagt of de tong gefileerd gaat worden, neem dan met een lieve lach het bord weg en regel het meteen. Bij Piet de Leeuw gebeurt dat aan tafel, en dat duurt 30 seconden per vis. De cheffin/bedrijfsleider zei dat dat niet kon want dan zou ze hernia krijgen. Jammer. De dame blanche was van grote klasse. Perfect ijs met weelderige chocolade saus. De ober was een schat. Suggestie 2: train die man en na een middag oefenen kan hij zelf aan tafel tong fileren. En dan de tong, te hard gebakken en één van de twee ontbrak een hele filet. Dat kwam door de kuit werd gezegd? Ja nou en? Controleer je vis bij binnenkomst én bereiding én bij uitgifte alsjeblieft. Een gapend gat in je vis is geen mooi gezicht. En ik had dus 1/4 minder tong. Wij gaan volgende keer weer naar Piet de Leeuw. Het gratis kopje koffie werd door ons gewaardeerd maar kwam eerder over als een afkoopsom dan een oprecht excuus. “Omdat u niet tevreden was” - nee lieve mensen, omdat jullie je werk niet goed hadden gedaan.

Vanmiddag geluncht bij Keijzer , ik belde vanuit het museum om te vragen of er plaats was en dat kon gelukkig nog. We kwamen uit de stromende regen binnen en dan kom je in een warm bad, gezellige sfeer en een voor mij nieuwe mevrouw in de bediening, die zo aardig en vriendelijk was, dat kom je niet vaak meer tegen. Het 12 uurtje was ook weer heerlijk.

Nice and clean Brasserie with polite and welcoming staff. Of the already limited Whiskey offer two spirits were not availible. Nevertheless the Bartender did a nice Job so did the rest of the Team. For a relaxing evening in the nice Museum area or before a concert it is definitly a place to go. Maybe next time a wider range of Scotch and Burbons is availible.

Bezoek Keyzer al vele jaren. Heerlijk gegeten, maar deze avond wijn uit een vingerhoedje. Kwaliteit als vanouds. Oesters met mooie champagne , carpaccio en tournedos geweldig. Maar lieve mensen van Keyzer, meten jullie de wijn tegenwoordig af in een vingerhoedje? De Rioja was prachtig, maar om €8,50 te vragen voor een minimaal gevuld wijnglaasje, dat ben ik niet van jullie gewend. Zeker niet wanneer je voor voor- en hoofdgerecht bij elkaar meer dan €68,00 neerlegt. Daar hoort gewoon een goed glas wijn bij. Meteen opmerking over gemaakt bij de medewerker, maar deze trok zich enigszins besmuikt en zonder commentaar terugtrok. Bij hoofdgerecht zat tweede glaasje iets voller, maar bleef magertjes. Het spreekwoord “ze eten je arm maar drinken je rijk” was hier vanavond, helaas, van toepassing. Gelukkig maakte de ambiance en de goede kwaliteit van het eten veel goed.

So if you are an American visiting, the service is SLOW but remember, dinner in Europe is an event to savor, not stuff your face and run. So sit, enjoy this simmering atmosphere. I had to walk to the staff myself for a card. I ordered fries of parmesan cheese with mayo on the side. The fries came with mayo on top. Barely any parmesan cheese on it. Too bad I'll never come here again.
