Nice place with good food, only when we were already seated at a table with 6 people the waitress came over to play musical chairs for us she came to decide who was going to sit where where the baby was going to sit and how the tables had to be arranged after we had already made ourselves comfortable so the feeling of just sitting comfortably, like you're at home is totally non-existent !! also the waitress started nagging about an empty can that one of us had brought inside it cost a total of 300 euros and I think that in that case there simply shouldn't be any nagging and people should just be let do their own thing the place clearly isn't doing it out of love but for the money also turning off the air conditioning every 10 minutes while it's 36 degrees outside that is pure stinginess

We have been eating here for years, but unfortunately, we have to say that the quality has seriously deteriorated lately. Both the service and, especially, the food are no longer what they used to be. The sushi clearly tastes like it has been sitting ready for a while; it lacks a fresh texture and a fresh flavor. The last few times, the meat was tough, and the shrimp had a taste that suggests they are no longer quite right. The service and the owner's attitude have also noticeably worsened. After being regular customers for years, this is unfortunately the last time we will be coming here. It is a shame that a business with such a good start can decline so rapidly.

We had a bistro ticket during a concert. The three-course meal was very good. I can't comment on the price; I don't know how much of the price was for the concert itself.

We went here with six people for the André Rieu concert with dinner. We were tucked away in the furthest corner, so we couldn't see anything of the concert live. We chose this sushi restaurant and were served a small tournedos as a main course. Not bad, but that is not why you choose a sushi restaurant. Everything in this restaurant is geared towards squeezing the customer as much as possible for minimal investment. The drink prices are absurd. A bottle of tap water for €9; a glass of wine is unavailable, but you have to buy a bottle for €38.50. A plate of snacks for the intermission costs €19 for 16 mini bitterballen and pieces of frikandel. You are not offered anything on the house, as is always the case in other restaurants. In short, we paid €1,200 for music from afar, and got little enjoyment from the overpriced drinks and mediocre food.

We ate and watched the André Rieu concert here. The three-course meal was excellent, and the quality was outstanding considering the number of people. The sequence of dishes was well-planned and harmonious. The service was good and attentive. We never had to wait long. The concert was perfectly visible from our seats. Highly recommended.

The service is horrible. We were treated in a very rude way. I wanted to finish quickly and leave because the way the waiter treated us. They come every moment with a silly comment. The food is the typical suchi nothing outstanding and also they oblige you to drink if you have all you can eat. Also very expensive

We visited this restaurant 10 years ago and it was one of the best restaurants I have been to. Now 10 years later we were visiting Maastricht and were looking forward to a great meal again. Well we were very disappointed as although the food was ok, although not as good as last time, it was the staff that ruined the experience. They were very unfriendly and every time we asked for something, it was answered begrudgingly. There were three working and not one of them smiled the whole time. I have an allergy, and although the dishes are marked with pictures about allergies, I asked the waiter about a specific ingredient and he didn't bother coming with an answer, I asked again and still he didn't give me an answer. It was not busy. In fact all the restaurants around were busy, but almost empty there. When I asked him why he couldn't answer the question, he said there was a problem with the translation. If he had asked the chef, he would have known what it was. The result was, we couldn't order over half of the things on the menu, which was a big disappointment as it's a tapas where you can order as many dishes as you like for a set price, which is quite expensive. We have never experienced such surly and unfriendly staff in all our travels and definitely would not return.

An absolutely disappointing experience. We were there with four adults and two small children and had made a reservation in advance. Two tables had already been set up for us – yet we were subsequently told to squeeze into a table that was far too small. Completely incomprehensible and simply unacceptable, especially with small children. The waiter's unfriendly tone and the owner's behavior were particularly jarring. Instead of offering a reasonable solution, we were treated with annoyance. This is definitely not what hospitality should look like. We felt neither welcome nor respected and will certainly not be visiting this restaurant again. Not recommended.

Nice place to sit. The service is genuinely well-intentioned, but completely lacks commercial insight. If you only order a drink, you have to pay by card immediately. It doesn't encourage you to order anything extra. Want a quick drink after your meal? Sorry, but this table is for eating only. Please move to... 1 table further! A menu with dessert: swap the dessert for a simple coffee? Sorry, that’s not possible. You have to pay extra for the coffee because food is food and drink and drink. Slightly rigid? Tip: count your profits when you are more flexible. Your customers happier, your profit higher, everybody happy.

Good service. I had a question about sushi due to an allergy, and I received a polite and clear answer. The food arrived quickly, and usually the entire order was delivered to the table at once. They have gluten-free soy sauce. Booking in advance is recommended.

Booking online is super easy. Ordering at the restaurant is done via the QR code at your table, allowing you to try a variety of dishes in a round-robin format. The service was incredibly attentive, fast, and helpful. The food was excellent!

After eating at Azietapas several times, we can say we're satisfied with the quality. The restaurant is located on the Vrijthof square. There's seating both inside and outside, the decor is very neat and modern, and everything is spotlessly clean. They operate on an all-you-can-eat basis, allowing you to order as many courses as you like. You have a wide selection of Eastern (but also some Western) dishes. Most of the dishes are very tasty and well-prepared. A few are less appealing. The staff is friendly but not always fast, even when it's quiet. Nevertheless, it's definitely worth a visit if you're in the mood for Eastern snacks.

Really rude staffs, dirty place, you get drink half of the glasses. They didn’t allow us to drink our tea properly. During Christmas, impolite manager destroyed our moods and there no any hospitality at all. NEVER EVER COME TO THIS AWFUL PLACE!

What a wonderful experience at Azia Tapas in Maastricht! Everything we ate was incredibly delicious, the staff was friendly and attentive, and the atmosphere in the restaurant is truly lovely. Definitely a place we'd love to return to.

We went to a restaurant to get something to eat after shopping. We ordered our first round and after 20 minutes we had our food. After that, we had to wait 30 to 40 minutes each time and there were 10 tables occupied. At round 3, we just stopped, paid and left.

A wonderful concert by André Riue. We chose Azie Tapas. We've been there twice. Beautiful ambiance, friendly staff, and above all, the food was served like in a fancy restaurant. I highly recommend it.

Mooi terras op het Vrijthof met leuk uitzicht. De bediening is goed maar erg zakelijk. Wij zaten er alleen voor een drankje en werden verzocht direct af te rekenen. Blijkbaar is dat de politiek hier als je niets wenst te eten.

Thank you so much for this wonderful stay. We booked the terrace package for the Andre Rieu concert and were absolutely thrilled with the food and service.

I had a great experience, but they refused to give a glass of tapwater to my girlfriend, even though we ordered several drinks and a bottle of prosecco. Insisting we spend 8.90 euros on a bottle of water. I find that absolutely unbelievable. I will change this review if they change that policy.

In one word terrible! Ordered 3 drinks, immediately when the drinks were on the table, they stand next to you with the ATM and you have to pay 43.50. Drinks really not drinkable (Pornstar Martini), reported to the service who apologized but the barmaid inside didn't care. Didn't meet us in any way. Never go here again customer unfriendly.

Great tasty food. It took a long time before the round was completely served. Only downside, we were seated in the back where the connection was bad. Thanks to staff we could use Wifi, problem was solved.

Watery and small cocktails, overpriced, touristy

Extremely disappointed. My parents came to visit for Easter and we went out for coffee. We sat down here just because they were the only place with free seats (for a reason). We said we would like to wait to my parents for two minutes and the employee super impolite said we cannot wait and keep the table (they had 10+ empty seats). Then she nervously kept coming when my parents were sitting down like they have to order the moment they sit down. And then she made us a note for a bottle of water we had at the table. And finally, made us pay the moment we got our drinks. It sounds like not much but I went out to spend money and enjoy. Not to be stressed by weird personnel that doesn’t know how to treat clients. I would not come here again or ever recommend it.

You can't easily find the staff in Asian restaurants to be cordial, but at least they came in that direction at this one. They were fast too. Not long after ordering, the snacks were served in a friendly manner, sometimes even with an explanation. Looked delicious and tasted that way too. The (operation of the) app that you have to use was less effective, but of course it works efficiently. The fact that you first have to finish your plate and have to deal with time slots before you can order again makes it difficult to eat 'all you can eat', but on the other hand you take the time to really enjoy it and you can still leave the building/terrace with a well-filled belly.

What delicious food you can have here!!! We went here in September when we were on holiday. We liked this so much that we drove 1.5 hours for it today. And it was totally worth it!! For people with allergies, everything is super clearly indicated here!

Very tasty for the price, nicely served and friendly service

The sushi is mediocre but edible. Our appetite was a bit spoiled by shrimps that were not good, but when a mouse walked right past the tables it was all over and we left immediately. Waste of money and our evening.

The waitress was too rude not to listen and answer my question about the concept about "all you can eat". If you are running a restaurant, the customers have to be treated nicely I guess. Please teach your staff to be kind!!!

Bad food and the staff is very unfriendly, they also charge you for extra drinks that you did not drink. This café is absolutely terrible. The staff rush you as soon as you finish your drink, taking your glass immediately as if to push you out. You’re not allowed to stay more than 5 minutes after finishing your drink, making it impossible to relax or enjoy the atmosphere. Avoid this place if you’re looking for a welcoming or comfortable experience.

We were a group of 18 people and they made everybody order a drink, even though only 2 people didn't want anything and they made us pay all in one go.

Ridiculous tent. Sit here with 7 people for lunch. We were close to lunch so had to decide quickly, no problem. At the time of eating lunch she puts a sign on the table that we are only allowed to sit people who come to eat. Understandable. After lunch (plates not yet cleared) we asked if we could order some drinks, but this was no longer allowed because you were only allowed to sit there to eat, read back that we had just done that. You get 2 hours to complete 5 rounds. We sat down at half past eight and only received our first round at a quarter past eight. I have eaten tapas at Azia several times before. So far all was good, but today not a nice experience. The sushi was sour. We indicated this and the service was very poor. Communication was not pleasant. We were not heard and were not taken seriously. This was such a negative experience that it ruined our entire evening.

The food was all quite tasty. We thought the special sushi rolls were great... but the entire "all you can eat" picture is not correct. You can place an order for a maximum of 4 dishes per person every 20 minutes, for 2.5 hours. By definition, that is not "all you can eat" but a maximum of 30 plates per person, best case scenario. We often had to wait 30 to 35 minutes for all the plates to arrive, some portions were laughably small (chicken karaage was 1 piece of chicken). We are not abnormally big eaters, so we had eaten enough after 2.5 hours, but I can imagine that it is too slow for many, and it is not "all you can eat".
